It can certainly be repairered.
Can you show us a pic of one that is not broken off...or top of the part that did break off?
mouser.com or digikey.com should be able to get the part...then it just a matter of finding someone or having the smt gear to resolder this. It wil be lead free solder.

Im still running my pair of ol' 2970WX's and waiting to see where the dust settles on the newest round. Must say exciting stuff AMD is whipping out these days!

I actually find of the several hundred GPUs i own that the Asus were the most reliable/least issues. YMMV All are Nvidia none are AMD. Apparently AMD Asus are not all that good.

my windows defender says there is a virus in lolminer.exe from the 1.12 folder.
I downloaded it from here

I installed this miner to Ethos 1.33 when my miner with mixture of RX580 4GB and 8GB GPUs stopped mining with Phonixminer 27.10. 2020. I haven't find any info how this miner is configured in Ethos to mine RVN Kawpow, in local.conf or somewhere else?
same as for any miner globalminer Nbminer nbminer=flags -a kawpow (and any other flags you need to set) pool and wallet set in same way as always.

You update shows Miners are decreasing on this coin.

Ease...and efficiency.
I run a few hundred gpus and the ease with which a specific tool (mining OS) makes it so much easier. I run ethos .... but there are a lot of good mining OSes. Some even are free for small miners 8 cards or 2-3 rigs.
The more gpus and rigs you mine with the bigger the problem. You can certainly do it your own way. But there are a lot of advantages to dedicated tools.

On github his last activity is Sep 14, 2020.
The thread from Claymore here links to mega not github. Can you show where Claymore links to that github? Claymore has never used github for its software so don't trust links other than the one on first page because they are surely trojans / scams. Well aware thus why i was requesting where he produced that link from. Scammers always scamming.

I see shares accepted when pool mining but not blocks (except on pool sitej. When i solo mine a share accepted is a block. Just wondering about this example...because a pool accepting the share is not the same as solo mining accepting a share. The first is not necessarily (most likely notj a block...but later is a block.

I dont know of any mining software when used on a pool can tell you this. Solo mine and you will know as it will be the accept share...on pool mining you wont see that only the pool side interface can show you that.

CMS enabled in bios.
Try plugging in 4 not 3 and see if they work. If so then 5.

Im still running it no issues.... been able to update miners to every current version no issue. If you are looking for a mining OS...i would not recommend this as it is getting long in the tooth...but if you already own licenses it works great as it always did. Super stable. Just no longer being updated but has a script that will install all popular miners current versions. If you are looking to getting a mining OS now i would highly recommend mmpOS https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088988.0Ive got several newer rigs on it and love it.

What sort of GPU works best in mining XMR?
It seem very profitbKlle to kine XMR right now, the price constantly shoots upwards. Probably setting up a turbine and solar panel to have free electricity will make a miner earn financial freedom. XMR I thunk will be used more when the digital fiat finally is deployed by governments.
No GPU mines XMR at a reasonable rate. It is CPU mined due to Random/X algo. Literally a GPU with get just over 1KHs but CPU can get 10K-20KHS depending on what it is. The newer AMD's are very nice.

You forgot to state that this only extends the life for about 60 days from now. Then it wont mine Eth on 4gb cards.
The easier solution is to just use Linux and not mess with all those steps. My 4gb cards will mine until the last minute on Eth without any adjustment. There are plenty of good Linux mining OS's that do this.
