1162  Economy / Reputation / Re: BADecker is one of the most dedicated and successful trolls on the forum on: September 19, 2021, 02:20:22 AM
Well I'll be jiggered! A thread devoted to my good buddy BADecker..lol
I've always wondered if he actually believes the garbage he posts in the threads he spams the p+s section with, or he just loves the attention, or maybe he is just plain old bloody bonkers. Who knows.
He nearly always replies to me when I take the mickey outta him, which is why I kinda like him in a strange way. I think I even shot him a merit once. (I must have been three sheets to the wind)
I used to frequently post in the plethora of atheist threads that he always turned up in with his godswill preaching nonsense.
The claptrap debates he had with another nutter on the Flat Earth thread were epic.
Nowadays, I occasionally troll him if I'm bored and had a few, but at the end of the day you might as well beat a dead horse.

..... He doesn't know about this thread....

Well that's easily fixed.... Wink

You should never talk to this place unless you have no opinion. The Wall Observers will firstly lower you down to their level and then beat you from experience.

Opinions are like assholes. We all got one and they all stink.
Except of course if you are an honorary Wob legend, in which case their opinion is valid and respected,

Personally, I'll take top blade (flatiron) over either ribeye or striploin any day, although I do eat all 3.

It's more tender and more flavorful than either. The only thing more tender than the flatiron (infraspinatus) is the tenderloin (psoas major) which is seriously lacking in flavor.

I also consider medium rare to be overcooked.

As for the beef itself, I prefer grain fed and barley finished Wagyu, Longhorn/Charolaise cross, Limousin, or Hereford, but Angus will do in a pinch.

It absolutely must be humanely harvested, preferably on-farm, and dry aged for 21 days. I think 21 days is the sweet spot. Too much fear in slaughterhouse beef. It affects the flavor.

I take it you don't normally indulge in a Subway mystery meat steak bomb with extra American cheese food product.....

1167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 18, 2021, 02:45:54 AM

Ribeye, Med-Rare... Prime Rib, dab of horseradish... Ground Chuck, wrapped in Bacon...

Dude.. lose the rib eye (not the horse radish though ) and go with strip steak, cut extra thick, cooked in cast iron skillet on high heat to sear and create Maillard reaction. Medium rare.
Baked potato with sour cream, butter and chives, roasted head of broccoli with olive oil and infused garlic cloves...
Smoke a fatty and indulge. Its's one of life's simple pleasures.  (in my book anyway...)

OT:
France Recalls Ambassadors to U.S. and Australia

Quote
It was the first time in the history of the long alliance between France and the United States, dating back to 1778, that a French ambassador has been recalled to Paris in this way for consultations.

The decision by President Emmanuel Macron reflects the extent of French outrage at what it has a called a “brutal” American decision and a “stab in the back” from Australia.

I could probably read it for free by doing some work around without having to enter my penis size or some such....  but  at my age, I just cant be bothered.

I usually merit Jay if I can read his posts in under 10 seconds, because in this day an age, that's about my attention span.

(it used to be about an hour... I blame the intertoobz and fondle slabs)

Yo Buddy... what's shakin' bro?....
1171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2021, 11:04:08 PM
Buddy always replies to me...

True story.. back in the day (mid 90's)  I had a trained chat robot that would reply to common questions in chatrooms like the classic.. "ASL?"
(anyone posting it would always annoy the phuk outta me for.... reasons)

I would post "hey what does ASL mean?" ( pretending I'm a noob)
Then some well meaning person would post "That means Age, Sex, Location?!"
That would trigger my robot (fwiw, his name was Griffin, lol) to promptly post "Oh really? I thought it meant Asshole* Seeking Love....."

Oh?  It's the same guy.

ya think?

Nah, this takes out Tether and finishes the collapse of bitcoin. Bitcoin below $10k within 1 year. Completely evaporates for all practical purposes within 2 years. This was the confirmed Chinese news we've all known was eventually coming.

dude... I often wonder wtf is your purpose here?
The joke has long worn off.
I know, as everyone else does who frequents this thread, that you are packing a shitload of bitcoin, so what gives?

I liked jbreher o.k....

Yes, point taken. To clarify and correct myself, I really meant you didn't like his shitcoin shenanigans, not him as a person.  My bad.

Thanx for that compliment bro!      #no homo....

.......

As was noted previously Jbear is a expert on the subject, I miss him.

Speaking of missing past regular posters in the Wob...
Where are they now?
My unofficial partial list of wo bro legends who have gone bye bye (for at least a few months anyway, to my knowledge)...

JBreher...  eloquent and JJG didn't like him. And that's an understatement. Me? I just loved that bear at the picnic table waiting for a treat.
Gentlemand... my favorite wo bro, and I really miss his hilarious comments.
Hairy Mclairy ... I think he just got tired of this place.
V8....  Kept me abreast of the latest and greatest memes.
Ibian....  Maybe he had a boating accident, but whatever, I don't miss him, though I will confess to reading all his posts.  Occasionally I'd flame him, because why not?
Roach....Fuck him. The thread moved up a notch in respectability when that asshole left. Good riddance

One of the weird things about being a regular here and participating in this never ending thread anonymously over the years
is that one is never sure what happens to regular posters when they suddenly go AWOL.
Occasionally one finds out that someone passed on the forum, but to my knowledge I haven't heard of any past wo bro regulars
actually going to the great bitcoin playground in the sky. (maybe others have, idk, I'm not in that loop)
I certainly hope that they rather they just got tired of the silliness and had better things to do irl after becoming rich.
Something that hasn't happened with me yet.... (I never tire of the silliness, I create it....)

Only thing missing is those happy family type folks gathering up the wild fruit in a basket in the foreground with a "GODS KINGDOM" splashed across the bottom.

I just looked in my directory trying to figure out if I could call "bitcoin" directly, and since I did not find a listing, I looked under king daddy, honey badger, satoshi nakamoto, and lillie fiend.. still no luck.

Personally, I cannot find any way to get in touch with bitcoin or any of the pseudonyms that I can think of to make a request for UPpity.

Probably there is someone better connected than me.. perhaps?  perhaps?

....

Perhaps your lil selfie should make a callening to the BBB?   (Better Bitcoin Bureau).....Surely?

...
My position is all atheists are religious fanatics that choose to believe in nothing. Totally as fucked up as religious beliefs.
....

Dude, you are SO wrong.  I'm an atheist ,and I'm not a religious fanatic.  (atheism is not a religion, just like baldness is not a hair color)
I believe in plenty of rational things, like science. Its not fucked up, my friend. Quite the contrary.
You are painting with a broad brush. Put it away.

...
The reality is we are simply too stupid to know what the fuck is happening and agnosticism is the only sane way to be.
...

I used to be agnostic too. That's just a cop out. I got a clue, got off the fence, stopped being wishy washy, and took a stance.
And btw, maybe you do, but I don't think I'm too I'm stupid too know what's happening. Quite the contrary.

...
Btw if you a true agnostic you can switch to either god belief or nothing belief when and if they are correctly and accurately described to you by the universe.
...

Is that an order?

...
I was raised a roman catholic grades k to 8 a total of nine years of training.
I have come to realize I have zero need to believe in things i do not understand or know.
...
Then educate yourself to understand and know the things you don't.

...
ie God or nothing.
...

Not sure what your point is.

...
For me good friends and kindness to people when possible are my goals while I live here on earth 🌏.
...

You and me both, my friend.

...
whats next don’t know don’t care I will deal with it when it happens.

fair enough.

And to answer the question in the thread title "why I'm an atheist" is quite simple really.
I don't believe in sky fairies and the supernatural. And I'm not "agnostic" about that either.
