1161  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: June 17, 2023, 09:36:16 PM
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as it ultimately depends on an individual's financial goals and circumstances. However, there are several reasons why it may still be advisable to save even when someone is already wealthy. Firstly, unexpected expenses can arise at any time, and having a substantial savings cushion can provide peace of mind and financial security. Saving can help to maintain a certain standard of living in the event of a sudden of income or other financial setback. Savings can help to ensure long-term financial stability and provide opportunities for future investments or charitable giving. Even if someone is already wealthy, continuing to save can help them to achieve their financial goals and leave a legacy for future generations. The decision to save should be based on an individual's unique financial situation and goals. Saving can provide numerous benefits and is often a wise financial decision regardless of one's current level of wealth.
Indeed, everything will return to the individual himself and to what habits and plans the individual has made for his future. And even people who are already rich are usually used to making more mature future plans. So that saving and investing may have become their habit. Because they can become rich, maybe because they have been accustomed to reliable financial management and careful financial planning since they were before they became rich.

So whether it's rich people or ordinary people, all of them must still have careful planning for the future and preparation is needed, of course. and the way is by saving and investing.
Everyone should plan saving according to his position. A wealthy person thinks about how he become more wealthy and go ahead according to the plan. A man can never succeed without a plan. Especially if some one is not financially planned then his future can be under big threat. If one is able to maintain both investments and savings normally he can be financially sound in a short period of time. Agree with you that both rich and poor should keep both savings and investment as much as they can according to their ability.

Besides, most of the wealthy person in the world knows the reality of the world more than we probably do.

We should still save and invest accordingly because if we don't, there will be a time that our wealth will go down the drain as we don't have any passive income that will support our lifestyle and we should always think that what we have is not unlimited too. I agree, there must be a plan for everything and a plan after that as a back-up because we never know what might happen down the road.
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: June 16, 2023, 08:40:04 PM
So it could be a bluff on his end so let's see how it will developed in the future. I also seriously doubt that he will just retire. There is also this element of money in this sports and he is always looking for a bigger pay so most likely he will have to play hard and then declare that he is coming back, win-win for him as there will be hype on his name again.
The element of money. Make a fuss and suddenly people will pump a trend about your fight and the champion. It actually works.
Here is the champs Regis Prograis's take on this retirement of Teofimo Lopez.
Quote
“Nah, I think he’s frustrated,” said Prograis (transcribed by Boxing 247) when asked about whether he believed Lopez was officially done with the sport. “He said he got paid a million dollars to fight [Josh Taylor]. That’s terrible.”

“That is terrible money, so I don’t think he’s going to retire.,” continued Prograis. “If me and him fight, he’ll probably get 10 times what he got. So I don’t think he’s going to retire.
https://bloodyelbow.com/2023/06/14/teofimo-lopez-regis-prograis/

Personal issues, mental issues, divorce, and more. There's a lot going on in Teofimo Lopez's life and I doubt he could easily retire with less money in his hands. You are right @Yaunfitda he may be looking for that one big pay that will get him out of that problem. It may not even matter if it's a win or lose, as long as the money is there to save him from all these issues that he had been carrying. We saw him fight Josh Taylor in a dominating way, and if he is still asking if he still has it, yes he does.
Make that money, and retire in a secure way for a better life, I bet even his cornermen are giving him the same advice to end his career in a better position rather than now. Fighting whoever the champion will be after the Regis Prograis versus Danielito Zorrilla match will be the key to that target. It's just two days away.

I believe Teofimo easily earned a minimum of $2 million in that fight which might reach $3 million if the numbers did well.

Prograis is also bluffing. He said he wanted Ramirez and Taylor rematch yet he signed with Matchroom. He said he was offered bigger money by Top Rank but why did he decide to join Matchroom? Prograis is just talking about fighting the top dogs but in reality, he does not want any of them. Now he is challenging Teofimo as if it is easy to make a deal between DAZN and ESPN. And I highly doubt a Lopez-Prograis unification bout can guarantee Teofimo $20 million. Teofimo can actually earn more by giving Kambosos a rematch or a Devin Haney fight or a Ramirez fight.

From what I understand from Regis, he said that maybe Teo Lopez might get just finished his contract with Top Rank and same with Josh Taylor. And later on we find out that Kambosos did renew his contract with Top Rank.

So in any case, he thinks that TR can't offer him fights that he wanted at 140 lbs so he jump on the bandwagon with Eddie Hearn at Match Room.

And who is he fighting for his debut with his new promotional company? Zorilla, Lol, Zorilla is a 8:1 underdog against Prograis. Probably just a get busy or tune up fight for Regis here.

https://www.boxing247.com/boxing-news/regis-prograis-faces-danielito-zorrilla-on-saturday-wants-subriel-matias-next/264615

So he is defending his WBC belt for the first time against a low rank 140 lbs. So that is the best Match Room can offer for him.  Grin

It seems to be that case and I cannot blame him if he thinks that way because Top Rank has indeed been having some difficulties in the recent years to make a big fight with other big boxers because it is already known that Bob Arum doesn't have any good relationship with Eddie Hear nor with Al Haymon.
Now we know that PBC and Matchroom does have their own big boxers that is also a champion in their respective division and sooner or later, if these two giants will have the most place in every division, then for sure Bob Arum will continue to face hardship because his own boxer cannot achieve their dreams because of the mentioned conflicts.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 16, 2023, 07:54:13 PM
This is weird. Because what I am hearing is that Canelo is 90% close to making a deal against WBC cruiserweight champion Badou Jack. Not an easy fight for Canelo despite Jack at 39 years old. But should Canelo lose again, he remains undisputed at 168 while he's got the chance to become a 5-division world champion if he beats Jack.
Needless to say, what we have here are just a mere speculations of what might be Canelo Alvarez's future move because it sure looks like he got a lot of option right now. But seriously though, CW might be too much for him because it was already clear that he is having a hard time fighting against a natural LHW. What more if it's a CW champion, I can't just imagine what will happen

Quote
Anyways, should the rumor of Jermall-Canelo is the one to be made, I wonder if the WBC elevates Benavidez as its champion since he is the interim champ and even fought for an unnecessary eliminator.
As of now, there are no clear signs to Canelo's plan and only their team really knows what's the real score but it will not surprise me anymore if Benavidez will not get his chance even if he's the interim champ because currently, Canelo got the perks of having the organizer, promoter, sanctioning bodies and even judges are on his side.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 15, 2023, 10:13:16 PM
The Chicago Bulls are not expecting Lonzo Ball to be back again, third knee surgery, that's something the management doesn't like.

There's no team that likes it when a player can't play for an extended period of time because of injuries. I recently heard the news that Lonzo might miss most of next season because of this surgery, and that's too bad because the Bulls' management will run out of patience sooner or later. Honestly, Lonzo reminds me of guys like Brandon Roy and Greg Oden, who had good potential but were forced to end their NBA careers too early.

That is absolutely correct. I mean the club has the patience with the injured players but they don't like it all because they are losing money , contracts , views and more whenever a superstar is getting injured no matter the sport. For Lonzo , is hard to tell what his future will bring to him but I do hope he will have a strong comeback in 2 years from now if the recovery process will go without further interventions, because if not , like you said , he might be forced to retire which is sad.

It would be a pity to see him retire while he is still young. I hope they treat him like the Warriors did with Thompson and the Nuggets did with Murray. After both players got injured and rested for at least one season, they came back and won a championship. The Bulls are a great team, with Zach LaVine and DeRozan in the lineup, making them very dangerous. Unfortunately, they haven't been able to play at full strength in the playoffs.

He doesn't need the Chicago Bulls to give him a pity because if he can bounce back from his injury then any team in the league can give him a chance to play because it's the Bulls loss and not his as Lonzo is a natural playmaker who is also good in passing just like his younger brother LaMelo in the Charlotte Hornets. Now, he must focus first from bouncing back because he will be the first player to ever play from having that specific injury.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2023, 09:35:27 PM
Brazil is a country where people's main dream is to become a professional footballer. They grew up with football since birth. Most of the young people in Brazil are passionate about football. And most of the footballers that Brazil has produced so far have grown up from very poor families. Brazilian talented young footballers choose football as their profession mainly to change their financial situation and do everything it takes to become a professional footballer. It would not be wrong if we call Brazil the factory of footballers because every year many talented players play in different clubs from this country. Football plays a very important role in the country's economy.

In the past, the players used to give equal importance to both the national team and the club. That has changed. Salaries have gone up by 10x or 20x, and therefore the clubs nowadays demand 100% loyalty from the players. Even for major tournaments such as FIFA World Cup, the players are released quite late by the clubs and therefore they don't get much time to get used with the team members. And this is quite evident in the style of play. But then, football is a profession and clubs are the ones who sustain these players. So they have limited options.

Yes, they may be the best players in the world but let's not forget that football is played by a team consisted by various players and not only played by one single player which means that you need to be with them to make yourself accustomed and comfortable to their nature especially in friendly games so that chemistry will be built as well as trust.

Being the best is literally a waste if there is no chemistry between you and the whole team but we cannot blame them because just like what is mentioned above, it's the club's fault for releasing them late with almost few time to practice with the whole team.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: Rent or buy real estate - let's have a debate on: June 15, 2023, 10:18:59 AM
For me, there's no debate on the issue. Buying real estate is always better than renting. I can list my own reasons. First off, it will be yours. That you won't be renting forever is enough reason for me to favor buying your own house.

I was actually happy when I read the book The Richest Man in Babylon and found out that one of the tips mentioned was to "own your home." I couldn't agree more.

You can renovate it freely, adjust the design later on according to your own taste and needs, use it as a collateral for a loan, sell it, and so on. You can do whatever you want with it. It is frustrating to always defer to your landlord on all decisions about the place you're living in.

Moreover, with inflation, what you will be paying in the years to come for your own house will actually be worth less.
I have to agree with this. Buying a property is always an advantage than renting the whole time as your money will only go into waste, knowing in the end you don’t own anything. That is why if you have enough funds to finance buying a real estate, then never hesitate to stick to your plan. It could make you spend huge amount today but after a year or two, if you consider that property to be a source for business, then it’s going to give you high investment returns that may be 10x or 20x from your investment capital.
1167  Economy / Economics / Re: The cost of living is trying to kill the living on: June 15, 2023, 09:42:21 AM
but everyone needs living expenses to at least allow him to buy what is needed . what they killed was not because of the cost of their lives. but because of the will of their prestige who want to have expensive things like those of their friends. this thing can kill him. if it's just to meet the necessities of life the cost won't be expensive, but if it's for goods to cover prestige it's very expensive.
You have a good point. Even if the basic necessities be it goods or services have undeniably become more costly these days, as long as you have your own source of income, you will get to live and survive. However, if you aim things that are above your means, like adopting luxuries in life because other people are into it, then you will really struggle in your finances and won’t be able to live your life according to what you want. But if you just chose to live within your means, live simply just like before, I guess that will never cause your life to struggle.
1168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto another form of gambling? on: June 14, 2023, 09:59:08 PM
I was kinda surprised when I read the news from Financial Times that the cross-section of the UK's MPs that seems to see it as needless to regulate cryptocurrency suggested that it should be viewed as "a form of gambling" and be regulated as such.

Without relying on my own understanding of "gambling," I quickly used the help of the Oxford Dictionary through Google, and it states;

1. Play games of chance for money; bet.
2. Take risky action in the hope of a desired result.

The second one seems to fit crypto best, so it's clear they know what they are saying.

Now, do you agree that crypto should be seen as a form of gambling? And if this eventually comes through, what should we expect as the constraints it might still bring to the crypto space?
No. Crypto will never be a form of gambling because it will never rely on luck and chances alone. You are investing in crypto, particularly in bitcoin, because a lot have been experiencing real and high profits on it. And not that you only invest for luck, but you also do a lot of prior research about crypto and bitcoin before you take the risk in investing. So there’s a lot of preparation before you decide to invest, unlike gambling that you can always deal with it without the need for any research or strategy development. The reason why gambling is designed to make you lose than to see you in profits.

Op thanks you for bringing this to notice of all. I thought NFT airdrop is no long in existence. This information now not only for newbies but also to other ranks in the forum.
Scammers always have a trick to scam unsmart people but it is hard for them to scam the smart people. Because those people will detect them once they see them. And one thing is to avoid any fast way of making money online. If anyone wants to make money online fast then the person must be scam by them. Stay away from any trap from those guys.
Yes, thank you OP for bringing this topic. Not all of us here are aware of this especially for newbies who always take advantage once there are huge money involved. And the fact that airdrops are not that reputable unlike before, then we should try to spare from it seeing a lot of victims today have lose their money on airdrops that promise them for high returns. You can always be profitable by buying bitcoin, but never in engaging in airdrops that will only make your capital at risk.
1170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gambling is different from trading on: June 14, 2023, 09:35:45 PM
Yes. Gambling is completely different from trading since trading will make you more profits and able to grow them more but in gambling, the more you decide to gamble more, the more you become susceptible to losing. And while trading follows certain skills and strategies in the market, gambling do not have any of them. As long as you have luck, you can always gamble and end up winning or losing your capital.
1171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A portion of my clothing store's weekly profit is invested in Bitcoin on: June 14, 2023, 09:13:27 PM
The idea of accepting Bitcoin payments may be a good idea, but it is somewhat difficult to implement in practice if people in your area are not familiar with the Bitcoin payment method.

You can try another idea, why don't you issue T-shirts, for example, with the Bitcoin logo on it? It will be an attractive idea on the one hand, and on the other hand, it may help attract the attention of your region to Bitcoin. Perhaps it will be the first clothing store to do this idea.
Accepting bitcoin payment may certainly work especially if there are people around who are aware and are active on keeping bitcoin. That is a good start for you to establish new profits through bitcoin usage. And since you start accepting bitcoin in your store, then yes it could also lead to a good promotion selling stuff about bitcoin like printed logos about bitcoin. Or simply, feel free to accept bitcoin logo printing as that will attract the people particularly for those who know well and are into bitcoin community.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 12, 2023, 08:24:10 PM
Definitely, in his next fight, it might be another good pay day for him as he is the champion and there are a lot of competitions in the 140 lbs division. It's open now, Josh Taylor is no longer the dominant champion so there could be another set of unifications fights again.

Plus we have heard that Haney might go up in weight at 140 lbs, so obviously this is going to be exciting as we all know that they are supposed to face at 135 lbs. But maybe in the future we will see them at different weight class but still the say, chasing and fighting for the belt. Both are villains though, so going to be fun to see the two trash talking, not just themselves by Lopez Sr and then Bill Haney.

Well, he deserved it because not everyone can defeat the Tartan Tornado and only Teo managed to do it, and even showed the world how to do it. Now, Taylor is already an open book for a lot of boxers who are looking forward to make him a stepping stone because even if he's now not an undefeated boxer, he can still give a good fight to almost everyone who thinks they can be a superstar but is not giving any signs of dedication.

Anyway, I agree, the next few months or years will be much more interesting because there will be a new challenger and defender of the belt.

By joining Lionel Messi to Miami, it will create a passion for football there, of course it will have a positive impact on football there. Actually this is a breakthrough if a league wants to get a lot of attention, yes one way is by bringing in players with star labels. As before what Al Nassr did in Saudi Arabia, it was good for them.
as one of the countries that will host the 2026 world cup, messi's presence in the usa league will add to the impression of prestige, moreover messi and cristiano have the same star aura.  I can say the future of the USA league will be better with Messi's presence there, and people will start to look at the USA league and also the preparation of the USA as one of the hosts for the 2026 world cup.
Whether Lionel Messi will play in the next World Cup will be determined by his performance in Miami. But many hope that Lionel Messi can play the next World Cup. Another rumor is that Lionel Messi will join Barcelona after spending one season in Miami.

He still have some room to do that though because the World Cup is still 3 years away and I know he got some deep reasons why he is in Inter Miami FC and it's sudden enough for the fans because they did not expect Messi to have that choice as first, it wasn't in the rumored list and it was not even from one of the clubs that can afford to literally make rain money on Messi.

As you know Heat finished the regular season in 7th place in the Eastern Conference. As a result not many people including me were giving them a chance to have a run like this. Butler has done the biggest work in this time period by scoring a lot of points and carrying his team. He has become like Lakers' Lebron or Warriors' Curry.

Therefore Butler needs to be aware of the seriousness of the situation and do something.

I'm guilty about that as well because at first, I didn't have that much confidence towards the Heat especially in the first round where they faced the New York Knicks which they eventually defeated but in the second round, it was almost impossible for me to believe that they can defeat the #1 seed in the East which they did as well. But in the conference finals, that's when I have put my faith in them and it turns out profitable because they managed to eliminate the Celtics and almost swept them after having a 3-0 advantage.

I doubted them through every series.  Of the series I thought they could win was the Celtics one because they match up well against them.  They got help with giannis getting hurt in game one.  But this one might end up being a quick 5 game gentlemen sweep.  I'm leaning hard on Denver all the way through.  No answer for jokic.  And if Murray is on forget it no chance.

It's not that totally unfair where we can say that they got helped from Giannis getting hurt in Game 1 which eventually leaded to certain games of unavailability because the Miami Heat also have their own handicap as Herro and Oladipo's absence really gave the team some troubles too instead of having a much higher win rate per game in a specific series. I mean, look at them now, they surely needed someone who can also handle defense and give some offense but even if Tyler Herro is already available, it's not a wise move to insert him to the team in this phase.
Herro will play as the Heat have their backs against the wall now. They need a spark and will hope he provides it for them. They have to win 3 in a row now, can't just use the same line ups and hope all their 3 point attempts drop.

I saw that as well and it seems like that it will be their last ace because it's somehow evident already that they cannot penetrate that much.

Heat’s Tyler Herro update signals likely status for NBA Finals Game 5 vs. Nuggets

Hard to forecast if they can survive the next game and force their way until the both teams will be needing a Game 7 because Herro's arrival might give the team a different outcome, but considering the situation that they are in now, I don't think that they have another option because if they will continue the game and have the same line-up, the results are much likely to be the same and might be the last game as well in this series. So, let's see.

1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: June 11, 2023, 08:39:48 PM
I found out in the blockchain world, many people are losing patience when they start to invest in a project. Their understanding about "long term" is no longer years but weeks.
Some project need time to build and shape. What do you think?

Of course! I totally agree with that. I am a person who likes long term investment. It seems to me that an investment that takes many years to succeed will have a very strong foundation so that it is likely to succeed.
I am willing to wait 2 to 3 years for my investment to generate returns for me.Grin

Well, if it is guaranteed in the next five years then why not, right? But sadly that is not the case since there are no guaranteed in the world of cryptocurrencies and that makes it even harder to find that project or specific coin that will outshine some coins in the market in the next couple of years and will be give us promising returns for holding out. So, it is still advisable, well for me, to invest in top altcoins and bitcoin so that the risks are minimized.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 11, 2023, 08:14:10 PM

It is indeed a big break for Santiago and if he is lucky/talented enough to defeat the legendary boxer then his career will be boosted and will be aligning him to be one of the elites.

Sometimes legends need to have one good last fight before they decide to retired and this might be it if Santiago will perform well and knockout Donaire at early rounds. And I think that would be enough for Donaire to conclude his career and give a chance for the younger figthers to shine in this era and make their own name especially Santiago this is his chance to be on the spot light if he get the win here in this fight.

Agreed. The only reason why Donaire is still continuing his career here in boxing industry is he thinks that he can still have a good fight and defeat the younger guys at 118 but if the opposite will happen especially if he will be defeated without a doubt or worse, a KO/TKO. I think that will be an enough reason for him to believe that his time is already finished because he's not the same Donaire anymore and most probably, cannot become a champion again before he hangs up his gloves.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 10, 2023, 04:47:29 PM
3-1 Nuggets.
Lebron James and his crew back in Cleveland Cavaliers were the only ones who came back from that deficit against the Golden State Warriors. One of the most unforgettable Finals series in the league and it sure is written in history books about how impressive they are in those games.
Can the Miami Heat do the same? I'll leave that question.

I don't think the current Heat lineup will be able to do the same thing the Cavs did in the 2016 Finals. In fact, we can already say that the Nuggets have guaranteed themselves a win in this series and, consequently, the title. Special mention should go to Jokic, as he's performing much better this playoff run than he did during the regular season. It's funny that he didn't become the MVP of the regular season, but he'll definitely be the MVP of the Finals.

There's a meme for that where Embiid and Jokic was racing for the regular season MVP but Embiid was surprised when Jokic just neglected the trophy and went ahead further down the road, which explains their situation now as he has all the reasons in the world right now to win the FMVP for having a great performance since the playoffs have started up until now in the Finals.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: June 10, 2023, 04:22:26 PM
Interesting that Top Rank/ESPN once again beat Matchroom/DAZN in the purse bid. I'm just glad this fight is not happening in Smith's backyard otherwise the judges will once again favor the Briton just like during the Yarde fight.

I believe Mundo's chin is tough as hell but we'll see how tough is it when he is facing a champion with a 100% KO rate. I am seeing Beterbiev scoring another stoppage in the middle or late in the fight. But considering Beterbiev's age of 38, I won't be surprised that one of his opponents these days will end his undefeated streak. Callum is a good fighter so there's also the chance that he is the one to exploit Beterbiev's age.

The fans are craving a Beterbiev-Bivol unification fight and we might not really see it. Maybe this is still doable if DAZN allows Bivol to fight at ESPN. But I also wonder if Top Rank and ESPN would risk it knowing Beterbiev's end will come to an end sooner or later if he won't retire.

Not going to argue that one but as of now, in this upcoming fight, I don't see that Beterbiev's KO streak will be ended by Smith and it is a great news as well that it will not happen in Smith's backyard. I know he's quite durable but I would like to see Beterbiev testing his chin so that we can see if it's made of glass or not as I don't think that someone could survive and just shake it off after receiving a clean blow from the 3-belt champion. Maybe someone in the future when Beterbiev will be much older but in this case, I don't think so.

~snip~
This is very funny to me because I can't still understand what you mean that Quatar killed a lot for workers just to build a shiny stadium. Many of the countries that had been hosting the world cup always build a stadium for it because they know that it will bring center if attraction to them and make people that likes to go on vacation to see good reasons of coming to there country for flexing and holiday. Since the United States and Canada would be hosting the world cup, I hope to see impressive stadium and enough space for people to enjoy themselves.

Well, the US and Mexico already have hosted the world cup in the past, so I guess the pressure of new stadiums would be mostly for Canada.

Even though there will be only a few matches in Canada and Mexico, most of the matches are going to be in the US, which already have a reasonable amount of stadiums.

I don't think there will be many new stadiums built for that world cup.

I don't know about that but just like what you have said, only few games will be played in both Canada and Mexico so they might stick to what they have instead of building stadiums that will probably waste them more money instead of benefitting from the event, but maybe there will be some few changes in their existing stadiums like increasing the capacities if they can and make it more luxurious as not every time they can host such event.

Josh Taylor looking to knock out Teofimo Lopez early as he warns: 'I'm unlocking my full potential'
This is what I wanted to hear from Josh Taylor because he was been so quiet lately and the last time he showed his face in the public was the interview he had in the middle of Garcia vs Tank fight, IIRC. Now I know that Teofimo is also careful and can eat a couple of punch but when the fight started to drag longer, I really doubt that he can still keep up with Josh Taylor and probably the fight will result into a KO/TKO.
And Timothy Bradley is also backing up Josh Taylor to win this match, he says Teofimo Lopez doesn't have the firepower he had at 135 pounds because of the bigger fighter at 140 pounds.

“So I’m going with Taylor because he’s the veteran at 140 pounds of his career. He’s fought a lot of tough guys in the weight class, including Regis Prograis. I’m going on his body of work and what he’s done over the course of,” said Tim Bradley to Fighthype about his choice for Saturday’s match between Josh Taylor and Teofimo Lopez.

These two fighters are getting spicy at their trash-talking.
Josh Taylor just recently walked out of a joint interview because he said Teofimo Lopez is talking "absolute waffle". Grin "He doesn't make sense and he is boring", said Taylor.
Then a threat came out from Lopez, he said he will take the life of Josh Taylor. I don't know if they should investigate this or not, but we rarely heard a boxer say those kinds of things. Anywhere it goes, it is still a sport, you don't want the other boxer to die because you are both sportsmen. This ain't war. I think Lopez is making this personal and not in a good way, it's so deep that he could say such things.

Top Rank even increased their security just so these two won't be injured before the fight happens. They know the fire is burning too hot and they have to protect them or else we won't see a fight in the boxing ring.
It's not just Timothy Bradley but there are several boxers too who spoke up that Josh Taylor will be too difficult for Teo Lopez to handle.
Besides, it doesn't really matter who is backing it up or even someone will back up Teofimo Lopez because I don't think that it is still not clear for everyone to know that Teofimo Lopez is just way out of Josh Taylor's league. I mean, yes, he does have some chance but that chance is probably so slim that we cannot even see Teo winning and defeating Josh Taylor on the process.
