1181  Local / Pamilihan / Re: ABRA Referral Rewards not paying? on: March 24, 2022, 10:40:45 PM
May mga na-invite ba kayong parang kasama niyo sa bahay ganun? I'm guessing lang na baka naghihinala sila sa mga invitees ng mga ibang tao kaya ganyan. Since very reputable naman ang Abra, lalo na't ung CEO nila(Bill Barhydt) is very public.
Most probably ganito ang nangyayare since biglang nagtrend ang invite system nila and marame talaga ang nagfafarm, kaya siguro hinigpitan nila pero some of my friends already received their reward, siguro naghigpit talaga pero hinde naman ito scam, better to contact them if possible para naren sa peace of mind mo.
1182  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 24, 2022, 09:48:07 PM
This match may possible to happen if both parties agrees with the terms, we know McGregor will fight even if this is not his forte as long as he get paid well here, same thing with Jake Paul.

I think Jake Paul's camp are the one who offered the money for Connor, therefore the approval should only come from Connor and we will see this fight happening if he approves. The offer based on the previous post is very huge, we are talking of $50 million USD here, so I think that amount is hard to resist knowing Connor doesn't make that much in his previous MMA fight.
Most probably a match that will favor Jake Paul, and with that money Connor should accept it since he already have this kind of match before, and yeah it mat ruin your reputation but at least you have the money, this is more like a business now. I didn’t expect intense fight between this two, this is just about money and fame most probably.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Web 3 trend on: March 24, 2022, 09:41:58 PM
As J.P. Morgan, CVS et al wade into the Metaverse, I'm jumping on the Decentraland bandwagon. I am taking this Web3 movement seriously. Anyone else? Concerns/criticisms?
There’s so much hope for the Web3, many believe that this can solve many problem and this is why it become a trend, same thing with Metaverse. As many big companies show their support and interest on Metaverse, many new crypto projects are about Metaverse, sooner or later once it becomes available in the market, we will see a better projects that can really compete with other top crypto, this is the future.
1184  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin at $1 000 000 by 2030 on: March 24, 2022, 09:26:00 PM
maybe 2030 doesn't feel like long for someone planning to invest for the long term.
whatever happens. I have invested in bitcoin with capital I can afford to lose $200 and I will not change HOLD strategy for 2030.
This is your willingness to hold and take the risk, no one can stop you from this and since its Bitcoin, I can support you on this one. Look at the long term chart of Bitcoin, the price is still climbing going up and in the next decade, most probably $1M are more possible to hit. I believe in the future, and I’m also willing to hold at least a good amount of Bitcoin for my future goals, 2030 will be a great year if you believe on it.
1185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 23, 2022, 01:24:24 PM
Ginebra won the game, it's 1-0 now.. I was scared a bit when NLEX got the lead, I thought Ginebra will lose tonight, but good thing they didn't disappoint me. All favorites win and covered tonight, nice game by Thompson again, another double double and Tenorio also had a big contribution.

I won't mention Brownlee anymore since we know he would always lead the team to win.

86-95 Final score.
This was an intense game and I really thought NLEX has the advantage over Ginebra but this game proves to me that I'm wrong and yeah I lose some money since I place my bet on NLEX, I guess better luck on next game. Ginebra always eager to win and now with a great team work, but still I believe NLEX can over come them, let's see that in the coming games, this is far from over yet.

1187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever JOMO? on: March 21, 2022, 09:53:36 PM
"joy of missing out" excitement for not buying a coin because it was pumping and all of a sudden you see the coin dump so drastically. I agree with you it should always be a two way thing if 'fear of missing out' occurs when one goes into buying a coin because they feel they might miss the next bull run which ends up deceptive times. The joy of it should be for those who ignored the signal
Also a sign of bitterness especially to those who are not able to ride the pump before it goes down. The hype is always there to pump the price and if started to correct, JOMO will start to dominate your feelings since you didn’t buy for some reason and miss some opportunity to take profit. Emotions will always be part of our investment journey, take it in a good way so that it can give you a more profitable journey.
1188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 21, 2022, 09:42:12 PM

Of course, sanctions and boycotts are unlikely to stop Putin's war in Ukraine and bring an end to the crisis. While there is only a marginal economic impact, it is still a huge signal to the Russian people that something is wrong. The collapse of the Russian ruble and Russian stock market show how nervous the middle class has become. If the crisis is not managed and the sanctions do not lift soon, Putin will be in real trouble and will lose the last big standing support he still has. There is no doubt that the sanctions and boycotts will be painful for the Russian people, but it is arguably the only way to send a clear message to Kremlin.

Still not effective after several side boycott did by United State and Europe Country and Putin as Russian president keep continue his invasion to Ukraine before Volodymyr Zelenskyy as Ukraine President declare give up with Russian invasion, have several economic side have boycott and I think recommended for gambling platform from Russia to boycott is not fair with invasion did by president not with gambling platform, not have way with financial invasion war coming from gambling platform and looks not logic reason with many asking from world people to boycott Russia gambling platform.
I think that there were not really a lot of people that thought that taking those economic sanctions against Russia will in any way or form stop Russia from attacking Ukraine, if anything this is an attempt to try to weaken Russia to the point that they cannot try this again against other countries, after all Russia is a huge country that borders a great deal of countries that could be vulnerable to an invasion, so by weakening Russia economically it is unlikely they will be able to engage in another conflict soon.
This could trigger Russia to develop things on their own, they can’t fully rely on other counties and seriously this is a wake up call on many countries. Sanctions will hit Russia sooner, many will eventually fall if they continue with this invasion. Peaceful talk is still the solution on this problem, cease fire should be imposed as much as possible and hoping that civilians will spare from this war. Economic sanctions is not good at all no matter how big country you are because you still need foreign investors.
1189  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 21, 2022, 09:34:58 PM
Stake finally got a promotional partner who will also be a player at the same time while promoting. It's good for a crypto related casino to be able to associate with a mainstream rapper and a known face in western entertainment industry.

It's always great to see associations of crypto related businesses with mainstream popular faces  it certainly gives a boost to the crypto business as well as cryptocurrency in general. Beneficial for both!

Since last year, this trend has started to develop strongly. The attraction to cryptocurrency services through the signing of advertising contracts with famous soccer clubs, sports federations, musicians and others. In any case, both for Stake Casino and for the whole development and popularization of cryptocurrencies, in general, such cooperation will have a positive effect, because these services will attract more and more new players who will join cryptocurrencies.
Speaking with marketing or exposure then it is indeed happening and not really just now.
https://ph.news.yahoo.com/these-are-the-celebrities-promoting-crypto-even-as-concerns-around-digital-scams-mount-142036509.html

Some do make out some partnerships and some do only promote out personally. So everything would be on that win-win situation.
This a big deal for Stake knowing that they are able to get big players and use them to advertise their site, so this is indeed a win win situation for both parties. I expect to see good updates on stake following this advertisement deal, also wondering if other sites are in work already to get celebrity endorser.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SHIBA INU - The Next gem in Altcoin industry on: March 21, 2022, 09:27:06 PM
Wether shiba inu is trying to break this thread or not I'm in for a long term because this is just the perfect doge coin in my own word, shiba has what it takes to become the real internet of money we've all hoped for, it fits more than others.
The hype may gone for now but soon, if the price starts to rise again investors will come.
I also see a good future with SHIB consider that this is one of the best meme tokens today and many investors are also with SHIBA. If there’s a huge update and huge adoption for SHIB, expect for the price to recovers. Long term hold fo SHIB are more ideal to do for now.
1191  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 21, 2022, 09:18:41 PM

I think Russia will survived with all the sanctions around them, we haven't seen any countries fully drained just because the West and it's allies put a embargo on them. But there will be outside help like China which has a close ties with Russia for many years now and they have one common enemy which is US. US though is pressuring China in this case, but China doesn't care, I mean if US wants to sanction them, so be it. History will judge which is really the aggressor or who provokes this kind of friction globally.

Yes I believe also that Russia can still survive despite of left and right sanctions. Russia has an oil resources that also affects every nation's economy today, we're not directly affected by the war but the economic crisis that this war brought to us has been felt by the oil price hike and inflation. Also, did we forget that Russia may not have western countries but it has a strong ally on their side which can also be known as a strong and wealthy country which is China, so I believe Russia can still survive.
Russia is prepared for this, those sanctions are expected but seriously this can still affect their economy and you can see that on their stock market, many are selling because they know what’s coming. You can also see their central bank on a big shock, and forced them to increase the rate instantly which you can say that, its already the start of economic crisis. Creating war may not be a problem, but expect the inflation to rise in Russia even if they have a good partner with China.
1192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 21, 2022, 09:10:37 PM
There's some twist that we're going to see on the next season of PBA. There's now a guest team that's going to play and this could be the start of PBA being open now with other guest teams in the future.
What can you say about this development? They're now starting to change and probably this is one of the factors that they can see to get back the solid fans of PBA.
Like what happened to Thirdy when he went to B-League, for sure this addition of teams from other countries will create a domino effect again thus there will be more teams outside PH that will join.

Nothing but positive news for this at least for me. The league is now open for more teams outside PH and with regards to audiences, I'm not pretty sure if this move by the management will make the people watch again live. Anyway, I'm excited to see more players playing in our national league. More teams = more competition and with this, MVP and SMC will not just simply dominate the league again like what they are doing.
I think that they're on the right track. Since the usual format doesn't seem to be good anymore for them and many fans are disappointed, this is something new or a refresh for more fans.
This will lead all of the fans to wait for something better and something to await for when the next conference has started. But in the meanwhile, we have to wait until this current conference finishes. But it can't be helped since they've already given that news and it's official, everyone is going to think of it and they've successfully got the attention of everybody.
Guest team are really more exciting to watch, many are not happy anymore with the current set-up of PBA and now that one team announced their exit on PBA, looking for the next team to come in PBA is not easy sot the guest set-up is a good alternative for now. Let’s wait for their final announcement after this current conference, a lot can change next season most probably.
1193  Local / Pilipinas / Re: GCash offering crypto services soon on: March 21, 2022, 09:07:02 PM
Basta adoption good ito, marame na ang nagpahayag na magaadopt sila ng crypto on their platform pero most of them are still on the working stage. Paymaya and Gcash are already have this statement, sana lang ay magtagumpay sila sa adoption na ito para naman more option na talaga sa para ating mga pinoy. Lower Fees, faster transactions, and security, ito sana ang mga services na kanilang ioffer sa atin.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 21, 2022, 08:52:36 PM
I have long wondered about casinos in the metaverses. In my opinion, this is a promising direction for the gambling business. I think that by opening a casino in popular metaverses like decentraland or sandbox, the owners will make good profits, because the popularity of metaverses is at an early stage. It's also interesting for users. Sitting at a virtual poker table in virtual reality is unusual to say the least.
The way the Metaverse is trending is quite alarming with the rate at which people are jumping into it. I know with time Metaverse might become huge than other blockchains. I have played around Metaverse play to earn game which was very interesting. When it comes to gaming and gambling Metaverse is going to dominate the market with time.
Why its alarming if there’s a good adoption and many good site compare to a fake site?
Metaverse is growing and it can’t be stopped, if there’s a new progress that you can really gamble on a Metaverse then why not? As long as you afford the cost just to experience it I think it can be worth it. Though right now its expensive to try, but sooner or later if there’s many provider already we can expect for the cost to drop.
1195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 21, 2022, 08:44:31 PM
No strategies are perfect as they said. They are all subject for success and losses as well. But how you handle your strategies create its difference. If you find yourself consistently learning in developing your own strategy and master it, that will be your edge towards the market. And definitely, your experience will tell it all if your strategy is worth to keep or need to be replace. However, its not just a good strategy that will make you a successful trader, your right attitude towards losses matters too. Losing will always be a part of trading, so embrace it instead and learn from them.
Trading strategies should be more flexible in a way that you can change it easily depends on the market situation. Strategies are not perfect at all buy once you have this you can expect to have a more profitable trades since you are doin this on a more responsible and discipline way. Learning should not stop from one strategy only, create more as much as possible and adopt what works for you, losing is very normal.
1196  Economy / Gambling / Re: Join a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms on: March 21, 2022, 08:38:10 PM
Can't Russia just call it an aggressive invasion of Ukraine so that the whole world could just rest, both football clubs and so many businesses owned and operated by Russian citizens are facing international sanctions, let there be a negotiation between the two countries.

If Russia wanted to negotiate, it would start with them and not attack by surprise. Putin simply did not expect Ukraine to defend itself so fiercely. He was not prepared for it, and now he is ashamed to admit his mistake and back off. I think he will not let go, so any peaceful way of putting pressure on Russia is good, so we should support boycotts like this.
Peace talk should still be the option so let’s hope for this to finally happen.
I think I don’t need to Boycott Russian gambling site because I’m not familiar with it and looking at the list, I can’t see any top crypto gambling site there so most probably I’m safe and free from hate. Boycotting those site can really affect many people, I hope Russia is seeing this since many businesses and jobs are losing on their country.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My crypto mining advice on: March 21, 2022, 08:30:16 PM
ETC will add more value and I'm already suspecting that the recent surge of ETC is because of the upcoming ETH 2.0 as ETC looks like the better alternative to mine, very soon ETC will cross over to three figure.
Its possible on a bull market but for now, we have to deal with the sideway trend and wait for the good momentum to come. ETC can be a good option to mine but you have to compute everything to know if its worth it or not, miners will always go for the best alternatives so we can’t expect them to stay in one coin especially if there’s other option to mine.
1198  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine has legalized the cryptosector on: March 20, 2022, 09:54:21 PM

Once again, people are missing out the long term impact of these donations. Crypto is not always seen in a shining light, there are too many politicians who are trying to make it sound like crypto is a bad thing, and having crypto in a good light where we are donating to save lives surely impacts it in a good way. This will make news places to talk about crypto and how we donated 100+ million dollars to help Ukraine win this war or at the very least help them. This is why I believe that its not just about Ukraine making it legal, it is also about a lot more people seeing crypto as a good thing, all around the world.
Making this legal is a great thing and a proof that crypto is something big and we really need it. People should still be careful on donating with Ukrainian crypto address, many are still fake and that project could be a scam. Better to wait for the legit site and legit address, crypto will surely make the world better especially if more people will start to use it.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 20, 2022, 09:47:19 PM
The first game of the semis between Bolts and Magnolia will be on Wednesday, IMO this is a good match-up so if anyone is interested in betting peer to peer I will be glad to accommodate, just reply to this post.

I'm for the Magnolia Hotshots. If you want to bet for the Bolts to win this series, please reply to this post.
What’s the odds for this? I’m also rooting for Magnolia but I can bet with Bolts since the games are more unpredictable now and both teams are really did well in the last eliminations. Bolts are more eager to win most probably while Magnolia still want to remain on top and go to the finals, such a head to head match up.

Probably there's a handicap, like Meralco is +1 in the series or you'll win 600 pesos for 1000 bet if you go for Magnolia. hehe.
That's what I'm thinking because I think that no one would put their money on Meralco at this time for 1:1 betting.

How about Ginebra vs NLEX, anyone also interested in that series?

Depends on your deal most probably, but 1:1 is really not ideal with Meralco and Magnolia since we know who are the teams that really dominate the series here. Ginebra will be the favorite here for sure, semi-finals are really composed of great teams, we can expect a lot of surprises here.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ukrainian token (virtual hrivna) on: March 20, 2022, 09:43:28 PM
Sorry, I'm not buying this scheme.

IMO, in crypto while there has some situations like this. Some shitty person like scammer taken advantage like open Donation while the fund can't be traceable + not really guarantee at all the fund will be send.

If people want to donate, it's better to use verified company/government fund raising address rather than personal.
We should always take care with dealing on those fake projects, we all know how scammers works and they will really take advantage of the situation, I will not buy on this kind of scheme as well. I know its good to donate through cryptocurrency but as much as possible, always donate on a legit organizations because those are the one who really works and do their purpose.
