1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: March 31, 2023, 01:53:16 AM
Well CR7 is one of the players who is very focused, it doesn't matter that he is 38 years old, he shows that age is just a number and that his training is everything, in the case of a game he ran much faster with The ball was held by a 28-year-old player, which shows that CR7 is shutting mouths, also in the Euro qualifiers, coach Martinez said it, that he saw a lack of respect not to put CR7 in the Portugal games in Qatar, here in the Saudi League if they give him the value he deserves, a great job that CR7 has done and I'm sure he will continue to do so.
We should give him recognition and round of applause for his professionality and his seriousness to prolong his career as longest as possible. However, we should take into consideration dramatic changes in sports healthcare to increase physical fitness as well as prolong career for sport players, not only in football.

In the past, it is very hard to see players can play at highest level in Europe after their 35s but it has gradually become more popular nowadays. We see Pepe, Ibrahimovic, Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi and some old players have such long career. Now they don't stop at their 35s but are trying to expand it to 40s like Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, Pepe and Ibrahimovic will try to join Euro 2024 and after that we will have to wait for their performance and decisions to continue with World Cup 2026 or will retire.
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zksync Era Mainnet launch on: March 30, 2023, 07:50:30 AM
Since they got testnet and zklite working, I think they are gonna do snapshots on these as well but we can assume that mainnet is more important when it comes to use case for them, so interact on mainnet frequently. Since we can only speculate with the process, but judging from the rmmainnet release, it would take time to know the airdrop announcement maybe next year.
Interacting with their main net and do transactions regularly as well as some other activities like adding liquidity, minting NFTs on their main net are good activities to be recorded for their airdrop. I believe adding liquidity will be important to get higher airdrop with Zksync ERA as cheaters don't spend money to add liquidity.

Quote
Yes just head on the official twitter post of zksync and youll fins there the links of their webpage, they have list of updated and active dapps for us to interact.
Interacting with active dApps on Zkysync and some bridges are other good activities proactively for their future airdrop.

Next year is too long and I think they will announce airdrop in coming months, before the end of 2023. They must make noise, expose Zksync to as many investors through airdrop, news as possible and must have enough time for market to absorb tokens dumped by airdrop receivers. It takes a few months to finish before 2024 bull run which likely starts after Bitcoin halving in April or May.
1183  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Canada Requires Pension Funds to Disclose Crypto Risks on: March 30, 2023, 01:37:03 AM
I think this is a good move for the government to see the activities in regards with cryptos that involves pension. Pension money should always be secured and it is the government's duty to protect it and make sure it is legally used and saved. This transparency would also make the citizens have reassurance of their funds. Overall, it is a great idea to have this.
Not only in pension fund management but also must be regulated more strictly in other areas related to fund management. People should not use money of others for their own greed and benefit that cause bad management and potential collapse.

Collapse can be small or big but when it happens, it surely affects people who believe in that entity and their management board members. Their life can be broken forever and putting some people in to jail won't rescue life of others so as their savings and funds.

Some might argue that risks are present in any asset the pension funds are exposed to, even fiat and government bonds. In the U.K some months ago, a large pension fund came close to crashing and needed emergency intervention to stay afloat[1], this was a result of financial policies put in place. Situations like these would never be painted as a 'fiat problem' or show the risk in banking activities.
Governments would have seen negative nets of government bonds in banks but they did not intervene it sooner. They just let it be and see some banks collapsed and later they reacted as they are saviors. I don't believe in them and their regulations are for citizen benefit.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: March 30, 2023, 01:30:05 AM
The club already expected to have a new coach in upcoming season. PSG will be making some movements during the summer transfer season. PSG just let galtier to end this season in PSG. Galtier is not as good as people think.
Hiring another coach is not enough for PSG. They must to rebuild their squad and make it more balanced between attacking and defense. If their squad continues to be not balanced, no coach can help them to win Champions League.

Quote
PSG already bought some world class players and that's not enough to win UCL PSG. To be honest if the performance from PSG this season is disappointing for PSG fans. Galtier will be sacked or he must be leaving the club by himself. I would not be surprised to see that PSG has been offering some good coaches to join the club.
They have world class players but their squad are imbalanced that makes them weak when they play with big clubs in Champions League. Such imbalance is not a big issue in Ligue 1 but in Champions League, it is their dead weakness.

Quote
Messi is already rumored to go back again to the barcelona.
I believe he won't. Barcelona current president Laporta treated Messi badly and he has no reason to rejoin them. Moving to Saudi Arabia Professional League and grab huge salary in a last few years of his career is more interesting for him and his family. In addition, returning to Barcelona might not bring more happiness to Messi and he will get more pressure there.
1185  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Canada Requires Pension Funds to Disclose Crypto Risks on: March 29, 2023, 04:45:53 AM
I agree with this movement and law enforcement in Canada and if it is enforced in other countries, it's good.

It's not about the elderly only but for all people who put their savings in Pension funds and don't get enough transparent reports from those entities. If their life savings are all in those Pension funds, their life will be at risk if those entities go bankrupted.

I don't think only cryptocurrency is risky and authorities should ask for more transparancy of all asset types in Pension Funds, not only cryptocurrency. Banks are risky like they did collapsed within hours and days, just few weeks ago. Stocks are risky too and I disagree if they only focus on cryptocurrency.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 29, 2023, 04:33:53 AM
I don't think, Real Madrid have the power to cover this gap in their remaining matches because their midfield is not too strong for their strikers to score goals that will make them to recover from their losses. But it will be difficult for Real Madrid to win this title because Barcelona performance has showed that they have more opportunities to achieve this la Liga league title than Real Madrid in this season. If Real Madrid coach can introduce the strategies they used last season to defeated mighty teams in the champion league competition to play their remaining matches, I believe they can still achieve something good from the tournament.
Rather than trying in La Liga but have to hope that Barcelona will lose many points up to 12 points in last 12 matches, that is a little unrealistic hope, Real Madrid can simply focus on themselves in Champions League, match by match, opponent by opponent and win it.

In Champions League, they will meet Chelsea at the quarter final and they have diligent chance to beat Chelsea. What team will wait them in semi final? The opponent is either Manchester City and Bayern Munich and between two clubs, I think Bayern Munich are the opponent Real Madrid don't want to meet. They have some bad experience with Bayern Munich in Champions League but with Manchester City, Real Madrid will feel more comfortable.

If they go to final, opponent can be Napoli or Inter Milan.

Yes, Xavi must prove his capacity as a coach by giving the main title to Barcelona. But it looks like this season is really very relieved with his team. This season he has successfully won the Spanish Super Cup by beating Real Madrid in the final. In La Liga 90% maybe they have also tasted the sweetness of the most prestigious trophy
Xavi controlled his players well and united them as a solid squad to play as a whole team. So far, they have done great jobs together and see La Liga crown is more closely after each match day. However, in Barcelona, there are crisis with their finance and legal issues which are harmful for their club. Xavi can not control those things which are out of his responsibility. They must resolve those problems gradually to help the club future. With many young players, they have bright future ahead but only if they can convince those players to stay in Camp Nou.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 29, 2023, 02:45:25 AM
I agree that if Juventus was not penalized by 15 points, they probably would have not been satisfied with the results. But honestly, The way Juventus has performed even after being penalized was such a great performance. Now if they can finish in the top four, it is going to be a great achievement for them.
Juventus did have a good season in Serie A and I expect them to be a strong candidate for Scudetto in Serie A 2023 - 2024. I believe they will have some new players come and go away in the summer transfer but generally they will try to improve their squad. This together with likely some departures of star players in Napoli and uncertainty in other big clubs, will help Juventus to become more competitive in a next season. Other clubs must worry a lot about Juventus in a next season.

Quote
What I am interested to see is Juventus has two options. One is to go for the top four position and the other is trying to win the Europa League. I am interested to see which they will go for.
I think they will aim at both because no guarantee that they can win Europa League if they sacrifice Serie A and only focus on Europa League. It is too soon to sacrifice Serie A but if they see chance there is smaller in next month and manage to go far in Europa League, maybe decision will be made.
1188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problems shared problem solve! on: March 29, 2023, 02:38:50 AM
I close a trade at 10 pips against me and I have $1000 on my wallets but when I switch to history of transactions I discovered my $1000 is gone. Could be that 10 pips against me would have taken the whole wallets balance? Even I normally close 10 pips in my favour it will not be up to $1000 why losing always take higher capital? Let me here from you
Are you trading with Forex? Pips is for Forex trading if I am not wrong.

With Bitcoin, you will gain best profit by holding it a few years and it is better if those years are between two halvings. If you can hold your bitcoin through two continuous bull runs, you will have no risk to get loss if history won't change itself.

Trading is worse than investing and holding. Spot trading is bad. Margin and Future trading are worse so is Forex trading.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: March 28, 2023, 01:55:54 PM
I have decided I have too many altcoins in my portfolio and want to convert up to half of them into Bitcoin but I am waiting for the next pump like we saw in January to do this as don't want to convert while my altcoins are 20% down.

I have only been in crypto last 12 months so not that experienced when it comes to understanding cycles. Do we have any idea when the next altcoin season is due?
It's hard to give financial advice for anyone because it is related to money, profit and loss.

Bitcoin has long ride from $16,000 to $28,000 and I don't know that will it be able to rise more to $30,000 or nearly $40,000. Honestly I don't know and you know that when Bitcoin has falls, no chance for altcoins to rise. People can think Bitcoin finally falls and it is still in a bear market, will they use their money to buy altcoins or they will cash out Bitcoin to stable coins or fiat currencies and wait for discount prices of both Bitcoin and altcoins.

I really think that altcoins will be in another bloodbath before a new altcoin season.

I don't advise you to buy, hold or sell your altcoins.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 28, 2023, 10:31:08 AM
Mourinho needs to do what he did well in the beginning, if Roma plays well in defense, then Feenord will have little chance. Mourinho loves the playoff stages and knows how to achieve good results in them, Roma are not the best team for this, but they can beat Feenord.
Mourinho style matches well with knock-out stages but he needs good players and luckiness to win matches. If players are bad, he can not do anything to win Europa League. I think AS Roma have acceptable quality but they are not a best team in quality in Europa League this season. If they don't suddenly have injuries on their important players and they have best fitness for quarter finals, Mourinho and Roma can go far to semi-final then we can see what they can achieve next.

Quote
Sevilla's game is also getting better, but I doubt that they will be able to play on equal terms with Manchester United, ten Hag raised the level of the team very well and proved it in matches with strong opponents.
They are improving and climbing to the 14th position in La Liga but they only have 28 points and are only 2 points more than relegation zone with Valencia and Almeria. Sevilla must be careful and keep up their good form if they don't want to be pulled back to relegation zone.

With this risk, Sevilla will likely spend more resources for La Liga and they will play in Europa League with not full concentration and it gives great opportunity to Manchester United.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 28, 2023, 03:42:42 AM
Chelsea basically lacked few things and one of those was a good coach who could coordinate what his got into a winning team but, that is gradually changing and it's mow a matter of if they could build up a winning mentality, if they could challenge themselves in each game and be sure they could go in that pitch and come off with all 3 points.
They don't have a good coach and they are not able to united their players for a club target. Potter is not a coach is able to do this as in Chelsea, they have many star players who work with many great coaches in their career. They don't easily to be convinced by a coach who did not have any achievement in his career like Potter. What happened with Nagelsman in Bayern Munich is similar example.

Quote
The confidence level at Chelsea is still very low and to build that, they need some consistency at winning and to set there target high on where they hope to end on the league table. Taking proper advantage of any lost point from the top to in the league.
They could bring some of those champions league performance to the EPL and be a winning team.
They slipped gradually after the sack of Tuchel and appointment of Potter. With last 10 matches in Premier League and their current position, I don't think they will want to fight hard for a position that is enough for them to play in Conference League next season. Europa League is out of their hands with their total points and with some above clubs.
1192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yet another saga looming to hit bitcoin. on: March 28, 2023, 03:24:31 AM
Of lately, binance  are at it again with
Binance is a biggest cryptocurrency exchange and they try to stay in grey areas so they are a most favorite targets for regulators. They also have many competitors and enemies that always want to attack Binance individually or in combined efforts.

If you knew Binance quickly to shift their Binance Global to Binance US. shortly after an explosion of the USA vs China trade war, you would see they are smart and very responsive to risky movements on the world.

With latest collapse of FTX exchange and their token FTT as well as attack on Binance months ago (late of December 2022) that caused Billions of dollar withdrawal from Binance, but they proceeded it well and survived, I think you would recognize that they have good management from technical, security to financial.
1193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why was BITCOIN invented? on: March 27, 2023, 01:56:43 AM
I don't know exactly, because like bitcoin it will be not just a new processing system, it will be a new philosophy. All forms of different distributed ledger which I can imagine are just different forms of the same idea and I think that there will be new ideas, because all economy is changing very fast right now: robotisation and AI make human work less needed and this makes everything changing. Bitcoin is good but it was made to solve known problems of an old system. One day some new progressor will invent a new financial decision for new coming era.
The Bitcoin philosophy can grow to be a new religion in future. I am curious to see how the Bitcoin community will grow up with time and how they will become more sustainable with time.

Dunbar's number contains an interesting theory which I think can be applied for Bitcoin community growth.

Communities could be weak in the past, early years since 2009 but in 2023, 15 years since 2009, I believe Bitcoin communities now are much stronger and will not be easily wiped out. Bitcoin is here to exist in future and its communities are there to stay and become bigger.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Games & Metaverse Category Altcoins (are there any projects worth monitoring?) on: March 27, 2023, 01:51:30 AM
Honestly with you, those projects are not failed ones but their tokens fell a lot since 2022 and 2021 bull run. Their token falls are impacted by a general bearish market in cryptocurrency last two years but it is not all and biggest reason.

A biggest reason for inverted exponential falls of those tokens is caused by their bad tokenomics design. Their in-game economies are unsustainable by initial designs which harmful impacted their cash inflow and cash outflow with outflow outperforms inflow. Therefore, unavoidably their tokens have to fall under huge selling pressure. In last two years, they tried to changed their tokenomics to balance their in-game economies but I don't know will their changes are good enough to revise broken initial ones.

They will have to wait and hope that in next bull run in 2024 and 2025 likely, there will be new huge cash flow into cryptocurrency and Game & Metaverse projects.
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Bank didn't collapse. It got killed. [SEC Vs Crypto] on: March 26, 2023, 02:35:13 AM
many "start ups" have dumb CFO's who should have known upfront to not risk putting billions of dollars into one account because accounts have a $250k limit of protection.
They are not dumb but they are greed and they have pressure from their CEOs as well as have same greed like their CEOs and together they make internal greed cycles to bring their business to all time greed levels. That put their business to bigger risk of collapse and the pandemic, QEs then consequent financial tightening solutions from governments and central banks in interest rates triggered those bank collapses gradually.

Dead outcome comes very gradually but when time comes, it starts and ends very quickly, within a few days or faster within few hours.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 26, 2023, 02:30:41 AM
The next game week in the league can be really helpful for Lazio to consolidate their position in top four. Because they have a much easier game compared to Inter and Milan.
Top four of Serie A will be chaos in next few weeks. Lazio eventually took over a second position of Inter Milan after the last week but will they be able to secure it, I don't know. Lazio had some latest good weeks but before that, they are like other clubs with unstable forms.

Quote
Their opponent is Monza and Lazio are in a much better condition than their opponent now. It is an away game of course which makes me think twice before making my final decision. The last head-to-head ended up with a 1-0 victory by Lazio. Now Lazio are in a great form as well and I think they can show this by beating Monza one way or another as well. Lazio don't have much chance to waste for their own sake about top four.
Meeting Monza now is a good chance for Lazio but by their latest head-to-head result, difference is minimally with only one winning goal for Lazio. At least Lazio secured their position in top four since the last week and they will not fall beyond top four at least after this week. However, if they fail against Monza and Inter Milan win, they will lose their second position and might feel more pressure from AC Milan and AS Roma.
1197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this making any sense or a misunderstanding on: March 26, 2023, 02:25:42 AM
Are some Bitcoin wallet address more friendly to transaction fee than the other or I am the one that is not getting things right? I noticed that address that Start with b use fewer transaction fee than one that starts with 1, or there is more to this transaction of a thing that I still need to learn more about?
It depends on two things
- Wallet software you use: Is it custodial or self-custodial (non-custodial)? If it is custodial, you are not allowed to control inputs, outputs and fee rate. If it is self-custodial, you can control those things including fee rate. When you set lower fee rate, you will have cheaper transaction fee.
- Wallet support for different types of Bitcoin address: Legacy, Nested Segwit, Native Segwit and Taproot. Transactions with Segwit (Nested, Native and Taproot) will be cheaper than with Legacy types.

I read your scam accusation thread and according to the support response, it's the odds provider which detected the ffraudulent activity.
I suggest contacting them via the email address they gave to you and ask them for more details.
You should also share your bets so other members can tell if there is indeed any suspecious activity or not.
We need to have more detailed answer here but be aware that company has their responsibility to not reveal customer information for their customer privacy. If a casino and game provider detect that a user has fraudulent activity and with a trusted casino, chance to appeal successfully is zero.

I don't know much about Sherbet as they only came to the forum recent weeks but as basic rules, a casino won't destroy their reputation by one or two cases like this. They can gain bigger income by longer operation if they handle accusation cases correctly.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 25, 2023, 02:40:28 AM
Actually, Juventus are trying to rise up (in the last 5 matches) but fails at Roma's home. Their record is look good than other participants, it's the same as Napoli's did. but if Juventus is careless like you said, another club which is better stat than them (Fiorentina, who never lost in the last 5 matches) will beat them suddenly.
A defeat at Rome is bad for Juventus but they still have good chance with latest bad results from Roma, AC Milan and clubs in top 6. If Juventus maintain their steady performance in last 11 matches, they will be able to turn 7-point gap (against AC Milan at 4th position) to zero. It's possible but this task is a little difficult for Juventus as above them till the fourth position, there are three other clubs AC Milan, AS Roma and Atalanta. Juventus must over perform than all three clubs to get a fourth position. It is harder than only have to beat AC Milan in a dual race.

Juventus can really catch up with Atalanta but their job won't be easy at all. The gap is four points for now and Atalanta have been out-of-form for many weeks. But I guess Atalanta would start a decent form at some point. They can actually do this by beating Cremonese up next. Cremonese have surprised us in the Coppa Italia so far but they are the opposite in the Serie A.
Not only Atalanta, but also AS Roma and AC Milan are very unstable. However, Juventus must aim at surpassing Atalanta first before thinking of AS Roma and AC Milan at fifth and fourth positions. Juventus are actually heating up top four race a lot since return of Serie A after World Cup 2022.

Atalanta will need to end this season in top four if they don't want to see many star players who grew up in their club in the last five seasons leaving the club in a next summer transfer. They are always favorite targets of many big clubs around Europe and those clubs only wait for a bad season from Atalanta which likely triggers player request to leave.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Arbitrum Token Initial Price Speculation on: March 25, 2023, 02:31:23 AM
When the time comes for investors to unlock coins, then the market capitalization will increase and, accordingly, the capitalization of ARB will be higher than the projects you have indicated. But during the year, Circulating Supply will remain unchanged, so we will not see significant changes in the Coinmarketcap rating until March 23, 2024.
Projects with initial airdrops will have pumps and dumps in early days and weeks because airdrop receivers don't have any reason to hold their claimed tokens. They are like bounty hunters who need quick money and will dump their 'free' tokens when it get listed on exchanges.

Very few bounty hunters do their due diligent research and actually understand about a project and have solid belief in it like real investors. Who have belief will hold their tokens as investment from 'free' tokens.

A story of Uniswap airdrop (300 $UNI for each airdrop receiver) is still here. Most of them sold $UNI about $4 and got $1200 that is very great reward for their experience on Uniswap in early days. Months later, $UNI made its all time high about $40 and if any airdrop receiver hold it till $40, they will get $12,000.

I don't know about future of Arbitrum but if you have belief, you can hold the token a few months or till 2024 bull run.
