last night I don't think any Inter fan would have expected a result like this! after the various bad matches in Serie A no one would have bet a penny on Inter's victory last night! and it was a nice surprise because the second leg will be played at san siro with 80,000 Inter supporters pushing the team to victory, we'll know the verdict on 19 April!
Inter fans did not expect that good result in Portugal but their players made it. Fairly said, Inter Milan did not play too much better than Benfica and their second goal was very lucky. However, that goal is important for Inter Milan to go to semi final because if they only win with 1 goal difference, Benfica will have good confidence that they can win 1 - 0 at Giuseppe Meazza and bring Inter Milan to extra halfs or penalty shoot-out. Fortunatley, with two goal difference after the first leg, chance for Benfica to revert it in the second leg is very small, if not say it is impossible mission. Manchester City are a really solid team, it is difficult to see or imagine any team that can defeat them seeing how hard working and committed the players are to every game they play. After scoring the first goal, they did not cool things down but went ahead to see how many more goals they will be able to score, and they scored more while still maintaining a clean sheet, Manchester made full use of the home advantage, maybe Bayern can do the same in the second leg. With what I saw in the game, I am wondering why they really replaced their old coach with Tuchel.
Manchester City played well and won big but they even can win bigger and finalize quarter final after the first leg. Some excellent saves from Yann Sommer helped Bayern Munich to avoid a bigger loss and somewhat helped Bayern Munich to have small chance in a second leg. Imagine if Manchester City win 4 - 0 or 5 - 0, we don't have anything to discuss about a second leg in Munich. |

I don't think Inter Milan don't focus on Serie A but they just don't have good performances recently. It is unrealistic dream for anyone who believe Real Madrid can do this. Modric and Kroos both didn't play. I am not sure if Ancelotti plans to leave them out against Chelsea as well, but as far as I know those two are his favorite midfielders. Both didn't start though, but I expect to start them in the Champions League.

If the Lens team is able to continue their performance, the title fight will become more difficult for PSG this season. I do not think so, because the period in which *Decentralized finance (aka DeFi) * witnessed growth was the period in which there was a lot of free money and the investment did not generate a lot of money, for example the interest was closer to zero, but now conditions have changed a lot and deposits in banks are safe and provide a serious return.
Also, the regulations that force the platforms to stop staking and generate free money for customers will put severe pressure on these projects, given that they are centralized at a point, and the pressure will generate people’s distancing from those investments.
There are and will be more attacks on decentralized exchanges. Just like attacks on Peer-to-Peer marketplaces to force them closing their services down like LocalBitcoin, LocalCrypto, Paxful latest months. There are more matches for them to officially stay in La Liga but at least they shown better results which can be helpful for them to avoid relegation after all. In Europa League, Sevilla can beat Manchester United if they choose to play defensive and rely on counter attacking. Manchester United don't have too strong attacking so I don't believe they will be able destroy Sevilla easily. Moreover their defense has weakness which can be enough for Sevilla to exploit and find their winning opportunities. If you look at the statistics, the difference in strength between Man United and Sevilla is quite large. We know how Sevilla is performing right now, while Man United is in an ode on fire. So this will make the club superior in several ways compared to Seville. Yes but you describe exactly how catastrophic it could end. Take AS Roma as an example and also take into the account that Mourinho has an offer from Saudi Arabia, but wants to stay with Roma. If they get penalized, for instance 15 points at the end of the season, then they end up not playing in the European competitions next year and on top of that they are very likely going to lose their coach as well. Besides that players will leave the club, finances will go South and that could end up in a very bad and negative spiral. Not to forget how the fans will go nuts.
Mourinho want to make bigger history with Roma after winning Conference League with them last season. However he has conflict with the club about plan for a next season. If Roma can give him good budget to buy new players and build up a more competitive team, he will likely stay in Rome. However with Roma finance, I feel it is impossible for them to give Mourinho big transfer budget in the summer. I agree that Manchester United have been out-of-form in the English Premier League for three weeks. But they are very likely to fix this situation now considering their amazing effort against Brentford right now. They are playing a completely one-sided match for now and they are in the lead as well. I expect them to win this and boost their morale. They have another home match against Everton in the league too right before the Sevilla one. But in the same way they should be winning that one as well.
Their streak stops and we again see some weaknesses in their system. It means Ten Hag only can temporarily boost their players and cover individual weaknesses by a better cooperation of their players. However when player cooperation is worse and they can not cover their team-mates, general weakness of their squad is shown again and opponents can exploit it. Sevilla still don't seem credible at all. I don't see the strength in them to resist Manchester United's high attacking force. I think Manchester United can get a quite advantageous result in Old Trafford already.
This decreasing performance of Manchester United and somewhat increasing performance of Sevilla in La Liga will make their matches in Europa League quarter final stage more exciting. What a great performance by Real madrid. Beating Barcelona 4-0 was a big score and a big win for Real Madrid. Barcelona is a much stronger team than Real Madrid and Barcelona team has many good players so Barcelona always plays very well. And Barcelona are in the number one position in the LaLiga league with the highest points difference which is 12 points more than Real Madrid. I thought and my prediction indicated that Barcelona would beat Real Madrid by one goal. But a different picture was seen here. Real Madrid beat Barcelona by 4-0. It was really incredible

This defeat again shows that Xavi actually does not have good capability to manage his team in Cup matches. In the last two seasons, from Europa League 2021 - 2022, Champions League 2022 - 2023 and play-off matches with Manchester United in Europe League this season to this shocked defeat in Coppa del Rey, Barcelona are weak in cup matches. Benzema made another hattrick which is his second hattrick within a few days. What a world-class striker! Vinicius scored too and Real Madrid attacking system has main of its power in those two players. |
