FYI I did a test on polytimos.
I suggest that everyone disable / wait until it sells on a market for a value worthwhile. But; it draws almost 1/2 the wattage... so, if it does jump up in price, it should be very nice for the hardware.
Almost 2 days of mining on the equivalent of 2x 1070; and I only got ~0.000008BTC. I would have had a LOT more than that if I had stuck to another algo.
I think I switched my test rigs over within 10-20 min of the algo being enabled.
Just an FYI.

Please illuminate us. I know that this is important to mine on pool which has as much percentage of global hashrate as possible, to maximize blocks count found - in opposite if I mine on not popular pool probability to find the block on this pool is reduced and not fulfill bigger allotment from found block. Situation with those chosing jobs on zpool is for us just incomprehensible, help us to understand why it is better
read yaamp topic, code was written to be protective towards small coins, what you preffer put all that Gh/Th on one coin, so other would die till 0 difficulty then whale that Gh/Th on those coins and produce mass fork and kill them one by one or keep them alive with marginal % of your total hashpower and hope for better day, just check % of total hashrate put on those small coins.
This is a good short summary of one aspect.... but there are hundreds of things like this little detail that all add up to one big mess of a complicated system. I suggest that if you think the way this stratum works may be an erroneous way to mine, that you find a solo pool that functions the way you want it to or think it should. Its always an option. I myself have gone over the code, somewhat understand what I am looking at... and am still confused on how it makes these important decisions overall. But for what its worth, I have done both profit switching scripts (multi-algo) and solo-algo mining, and I have had good results with both.... but in my opinion, I have found better consistency in profit (during times of serious market flux) staying with one algo that is profitable for me to mine rather than doing profit switching. I also tend to mine algos with few coins compared to others.... but I don't really think that detail plays as much of a part as how big the pools' hashrates are compared to the network hashrates are on a per-coin basis. Is VEGA coin (Tribus algo) really totally ZERO value now ? If so perhaps should be removed =)
Sometimes coins will be shown as zero value because they are offline at the exchange (wallet needs updated? exchange on fork? etc), or a few other reasons.... Usually if they aren't planned on being a dropped coin, the pool will sit and nibble on a block or two here and there to get shares in the middle times of larger diff coins.... [crackfoo's nuts at the bar analogy comes in here], and when they finally get fixed/online/whatever, you get the big bump in credit when the funds are sold/sent to the exchange. I remember this happening before.

This pool works off of mining algorythms, not specific coins. This keeps things profitable.

you must either set up your own wallet/blockchain/stratum and mine or connect to a pool that only mines that coin.
When I do the same on altminer.net pool, it is doing properly, server is giving a job for coin chosen by password.
ok, seems legit You don't see this on Zpool's main page. This is what non-multipool yiimp based pools have on the main page: <WALLET_ADDRESS> should be valid for the currency you mine. DO NOT USE a BTC address here, the auto exchange is disabled! As optional password, you can use -p c=<SYMBOL> if yiimp does not set the currency correctly on the Wallet page. But the whole description is describing the type of payout address you are using; nowhere does the main page mention that its for selecting of a coin, it was all about describing what type of payout address you are using.

Hi Why zpool show different neoscrypt coins in Last 50 Earnings? I set c=INN,d=64 and c=ORB,d=64 but never see ORB but see Innova mixed with Trezar, Vivo and Gun coins Hi Why zpool show different neoscrypt coins in Last 50 Earnings? I set c=INN,d=64 and c=ORB,d=64 but never see ORB but see Innova mixed with Trezar, Vivo and Gun coins There is an issue with stratum server: When I set miner to mine a coin with password c=coinSymbol and proper wallet address for this coin, server is giving a job from another coin. And it is not a job from currently most profitable coin, but probably random. For now neoscrypt: REMOVED CODE SNIPS Mister Crackfoo, please verify this and repair This pool works off of mining algorythms, not specific coins. This keeps things profitable. If you want to mine a specific coin only, to only support that coin and be stuck to its profitability: you must either set up your own wallet/blockchain/stratum and mine or connect to a pool that only mines that coin. Thanks for answers! This should be fixed of course PS YOU MUST ALWAYS set your currency in your password field: c=<SYMBOL> If no c=<SYMBOL> is set, your currency will be randomly chosen from any matching coins we have used. So c=<SYMBOL> is for mine a specific coin no; c=SYMBOL us to select what coin you will be paid in only.

Thanks again Phil =)
And... OMG.... only now... after looking at the onda website pics again... did I notice the extra 4 1x connectors..... They hid them pretty well.
Damn... This one board will probably be all I need for the one cabinet I will be setting up at home....
Exciting times we live in!

Would I be able to add ears to fit this case onto a rack?
Im not sure if its possible with the dimensions of your material, but if it can be done.... Ill be interested.... or else im just going to gut an AT era case and fit my board into that =)
If the PSU is mounted behind/front of the GPUs, then yes, it would fit in a rack. But, then you would want a fully enclosed case? I am outfitting 26x36" rack mount shipping cases with miners.... for portability... Ill be putting the major air moving fan on the case door itself; and the opposite side of the case will have a washable filter installed... so mounting them in the case like that would be most ideal. I have a LOT of depth in the case, so mounting the PSU behind the MG/GPU's wouldn't be a bad thing. I probably wont be adding any extra paneling to the frame... the frame just makes it easy to secure to the shipping case if I add ears =) I want it to be relatively weatherproof, rugged, etc.... I have some serious plans for these things.... You have to be mobile and compact to use the [almost] free power scenario I am using.... I pay per foot at locations and get an included 20-30A 220V line..... Keeping the unti all packed away in cases, makes heat management easy to do, makes them mobile, and also helps you mediate the noise a mining operation produces, as I want to attract as little attention as possible. Understood. Yeah, I've built frames for server racks before. This one is more than you need, but is a good example: Yes..... Depending on what board I ordered from phil (I just asked him to send me a board and sent him some BTC....), Ill pass on the info/measurements (if you need them) so I can get myself a rack mount case made.... I have a 4U height space free in my cabinet I plan to keep at home... so ill probably want to get the 8+ GPU monster into that space instead of the 4-6 card machine I was planning. In my instance, I have some Coolmax 1600W power supplies, which are behemoths.... ~12" deep... so I may be needing an extra long case.... but again, Ill give more 411 on it when I get the board in hand so I can get some overall dimensions for you. I know I could build these myself; but Id like to support the community Plus, 99% of what I buy from this site originate from GPU's that are 2x or more ROI already, and my signature payouts

Storx, ask them for a business name and license/ID that they are accusing you of having...
For all they are concerned, it could be a hobby......
Its all a farse though.... They are not keen on actually having to pay out anytime... and since this is a high dollar item... they are going to try twice as hard to weasel out of covering you.
If it was bought on company money, from a business account linked to said business they accuse you of having... then they may be onto something.... But, again... burden of proof.
Its sad that you may have to sue them over it. But apparently its the new "all-american way" of getting money easily..... Instead of doing XXX for quick cash, its now suing people instead.

The B250 D8P is the one you are sending me right? I kind of couldn't make heads or tails since there's been many boards talked about in these last 3-4 pages... lol The D8P is a pretty sexy beast. Hi Guys - I have my avalon 741 all setup. I'm able to get to OpenWRT webUI. I was able to configure CGMiner, in the CGMiner Configuration tab.
When I click the CGI Miner API Log or CG Miner Status and I get a bad gateway request.
Any help would be appreciated. I am willing to throw some coin your way for helping.
edit:
Bad Gateway The process did not produce any response
I'd check for an avalon thread and see if there's any similar issues.... Seems like an odd problem.. almost as if the controller has a bad flash or something... (missing data maybe?)

Is there a way to change the profit withdrawal frequency?
I'd prefer to get only 1 transfer a day or maybe every 2 days, I don't need 3 transfers a day. These unnecessary transfers are an extra cost and create a lot of inputs causing any subsequent outgoing transfers to cost a lot more than usual.
Any Yiimp pool dont have auto/manual withdrawal button, so all about operator. Usually people like to cashout asap, that why the lower min payout more popular beside the profit Maybe you could ask @crackfoo to make a special case for you or use nicehash since you could control when you make withdrawal Another option is to split workers between different wallet addresses to change the payout frequency..... LEss hash, less payout/day. But you will still see a payout per wallet... so... kind of not really worth it in some respects.

Good for you.... More profit here for us. Has anyone else been noticing MUCH better mining profit for the last several days ? Mine is up a huge amount vs a week or so ago.
Ive been doing pretty good for the past few months.... Then again, I haven't mined a single thing people have been talking about like crazy these past few months.

It's a massive scam site. They try to get your money every way they can on site and when you want to withdraw, there's problems. (see image posts of support replies above) I cannot believe the community has not kicked this bucket load of sh** out into space... I'm sure all yobit staff just spend time writing good reviews on bitcoin talk........ I will give 10btc for anyone supplying a body part of anyone in management or owners...
never been a problem for me when I make sure the wallets are online/working before depositing... In the last few months, I have pulled several hundred USD+ out of yobit with no issues whatsoever. I have never had trouble taking funds out because I buy coins that aren't in maintenance and wallets are online..... And i am not saying this because of my signature; I am saying this because you are obviously hurt about something that you did. I had a beef once with the way they were handling TX withdrawal fees for BTC, but that's all fine now; my last TX didn't cost a fortune for no reason like it did before. But I am just saying this because many people new to it all jump in without learning the ropes first.... I.E. researching how to use exchanges and asking what different features are/do. It surely is. People stay away from yobit almous all wallets are stuck and your coins will be there forever
If that's the case, why did I receive this TX today?: https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/915ccc989c758a3057f24e163a76179ff37c76d3b4698c1ff4b89367386784b1/https://imgur.com/a/BSeZnhttps://imgur.com/a/yPoNW

I remember a pile of EVGA 1060 SC 3G cards on the shelf for $199.99/ea at frys....
I picked up a bunch of the "mini" SC cards for $189.99 recently. Yep, those were the ones. If I had bought those, instead of squandering my $ I had at the time; I would have been able to pay off the 6 card rig in one month..... I still kick myself for that.

Thanks again Phil. I can't wait to get this guy populated =)
I may be a little slower than the rest of the buyers to put up some XXX miner pics of the board, but hopefully ill slam through this work in the mountains in a few weeks and get a handful of cards on the way in the mail.

Hey all,
Been a rough few days working, been swamped doing 13-14hr days.. hows everything going? Im still awaiting my dang memory for my D1800 test board....
Is everyone still mining BTG? i glimpsed over a few days of chats... Ive been profit mining Skein/Zec/Zen/Monacoin mostly with the few 1080ti's GPU's i still have up and running. My 7 day average is 0.00068787 btc per card after autoconversion fees on bittrex on all the coins being autosold for btc after directly mined.
For the public record, I didn't even try to mine BTG.... or any of the larger coins... check PM. Ill let you know what I have been up to....

Sunday’s payment will get sent out a little later today. Some of you will see a tx with ... that means it failed and will get reset automatically before the payout gets retried.
mentioned a few posts back about this too the ... transactions. Anywhoo, payouts have mostly been caught up except for maybe 2-300 miners with balances between 0.0015 and 0.0028. At the time there were still several pending exchange transactions the pool was waiting for and I opted to pay all the miners with higher balances. All is back to your regular scheduled programming now Good to know.... I'm one of those guys... but its no worry for me.... lol. I am not waiting on it to buy lunch with it or anything, so its all good by me!

Phil, depending on results... I may spring for one of those boards.... even if to sit on it. Its too tempting..... you are putting yours for sale at just under the $200 mark right?
|
|

Would that cause transaction ID to just be ellipses (3 dots)?
Time Amount Tx 2h ago 0.00805736 ... Total: 0.00805736
Please read crackfoo's statement in the replies before your question... should be self-explanatory. I did, hence the question. It’s not completely self-explanatory. If payments were suspended, I thought the pool wouldn’t even try to post payment. As you see, in my case , it did try. I just want to be sure what I’m seeing is due to crackfoo’s statement because I don’t want this single payment to be stuck in limbo in the confusion. Sorry, I figured you would know the lack of a TXID would be clue that it has not been recorded onto a block yet... but he did mention the payments will be delayed, and a massively overloaded TX log... I assumed a 2+2 sort of thing... but no worries. Hopefully all of this nonsense stops soon (mempool nonsense)... Cause its all people doing the buys/sells because of all the market movement. The whales tend to throw wrenches into the system by their actions =) If they had just gone up on blocksize by 1 more Mb.... imagine how much faster all of this would have smoothed out.... I swear to god; we all need to find a way to get some sort consensus to throw out the core team and remove their grip. Because, you know how well the fork went, and how well segwit2x helped everyone..... I just noticed I haven't received a deposit into my BTC wallet since 11/8. The last payout shows it was made 12 hours ago but I don't see a pending deposit. Is there a way to check the transaction ID? Also, is there a way to check out past payouts? Any help would be much appreciated.
The payouts will be delayed until the mempool widdles down... which will happen when trading smooths out and the price of BTC steadies again. Also, you can check your payout history on your wallet page. Click the BTC/payout amount/total next to "Total Paid ***" and you will see a history of TX amounts, and TXID.
