1181  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to buy Udemy courses with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies? on: April 03, 2023, 11:06:55 PM

At https://udemyonsale.com/, we’re proud to offer you the ability to buy Udemy courses with your favorite cryptocurrencies. Whether you prefer Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, or other digital currencies, you can use them to purchase the courses you need to take your skills to the next level.

It's hard to trust on your site as anyone comes up with this plan and copies the courses (thumbnails Only) from udemy and put them on sale to be purchased via bitcoin. On the Udemy site, when the course is sold, the originator of the course also get a percentage of the money, how do you link the creator of these courses to get their money share without officially linking the site with Udemy  Huh
That's a red flag for me

The other issue would be what is going to stop Udemy from getting your website put off for legal reasons?

Better to wait a few days and see if the site still remains active. Also, we can contact Udemy support query about this site?
1182  Economy / Reputation / Re: How wide reaching can the consequences of Chipmixer money laundering be? on: April 03, 2023, 10:32:39 PM
There with mixers, we don't know with which violence the arm of the justice will strike. Because it will strike one day.
As with drugs, those who have used a mixer for a small amount of money or who have displayed a signature here should not be worried (*). But, again, if the justice wants to be zealous, Bitcointalk as an entity can be considered as part of the network and the forum can be closed. This is the kind of thing, I think, Theymos wants to protect against.

(*) Not a legal advice Smiley

This is scary when i hear that the government officials can come up with an order to close the forum just because people are advertising mixers here. But then will they ban social media, facebook, twitter also if they see mixers being advertised their too?

If they really need to do the crackdown, the US government needs to ban the mixers and not the entities which are advertising it. By the way, they can only ban the mixers operating in or from the US. They can't ban the mixers worldwide just like they are unable to ban the cryptocurrencies.  Cool
1183  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Participating in Mixer Signature Campaign on: April 03, 2023, 10:11:26 PM
We (staff) were asked to stop advertising mixing services.

As for gambling services, then that's simply because of my religious beliefs.
theymos asked this for obvious reasons. What I'm curious about is whether any law enforcement was there behind the decision.

Nevertheless, staff were asked to stop advertising mixing services. We are promoting mixing services. Will it be an issue for bitcointalk forum in general? What about the people advertising the mixer? Would it be better to quit advertising mixer services? I was thinking about this ever since I have seen OmegaStarScream's quoted post. Is it time to think about this?

These days there are a lot of mixing campaigns popping up on bitcointalk. There was a time when we only had the gambling campaigns dominant with only one mixer campaign (chipmixer).
I think for the time being, only the staff has been told not to join the mixing services but overall such campaigns are not banned on the forum.
Theymos must be closely looking at the situation and if he wants he can disallow the mixing campaigns in the future. However, as of now, there is no issue with it and we can promote the mixing services on this forum.
1184  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: April 02, 2023, 11:14:34 PM
yep that's right, there is always a risk in every gambling and all types of bets and all those risks I call between lucky and unlucky.

If a bet is "safe" then it's not really a bet but more of an investment.
Gambling is less about investment and more about randomness.
That's right, having even that 1.01 odd doesn't mean that it's a lesser risk or a safe bet because the risk remains and sticks to the bet. Or could arguably say that the risk is less and quite being comfy with the possible outcome based on the given odd. It just changes the mood entirely because of the amount of bet that's being made by this guy. By the time that he's bet with that odd, he's unlucky that he's got beaten and lost it.

Well the bet which has the odd of 1.01 seems to be an easily predictable bet as the casino and bookmakers give this odd to the bet which has the highest probability of winning.  The bookmakers know the team is strongest and 99% of the gamblers will bet on it, so they keep the odd to the lowest value.
However, in the match, nothing is certain and one in a thousand times the strongest contest (team can lose too and we call it an upset. If this happens, all 99% of the gamblers on bet with 1.01 lose their money. Also with low odds, gamblers are expected to bet with a larger amount of money as they know the loss probability is low.
1185  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: April 02, 2023, 11:43:52 AM
of course, on the other hand, casino applications, although they have many advantages, have disadvantages, as you said. sometimes this casino application suddenly exits itself while playing casino games and sometimes what makes it uncomfortable is when betting on the casino application an error occurs on the network that is not connected even though the network is stable and fine. so that gamblers feel uncomfortable with the shortcomings of this application. and sometimes features that don't appear that we don't find in this application are not like when accessing using the website version
I think if the team develops the application properly then there won't be any problems regarding some of the problems you mentioned above, there are already many non-crypto Android gambling applications in the Playstore that can be used properly without any problems, except for only unstable network problems due to the influence on your environment , even if there is a problem then the team can update to fix the app or release new features in the app, but will many gamblers want a crypto gambling app to be released soon?
that is the question until now.
yes maybe if the casino application is developed often it can certainly solve the problem as I said, but unfortunately at this time most crypto gamblers prefer or are more comfortable using casino sites than using casino applications.
yes maybe local gamblers or fiat gamblers choose to use android applications but globally many prefer to gamble on casino sites which provide more interesting experiences.
let's take a look at some of the crypto casinos that have apps. and on the ANN thread they very rarely discuss about using the application and they (customers) more often discuss gambling using the website.

to be honest, I am currently using both of these for gambling. while feeling lucky I went to the crypto casino through the website. but when I'm feeling unlucky I use a local gambling application to bet.

Casino apps are not so popular for a reason as I think most of the gamblers prefer to gamble on their desktop or laptop and may not be willing to gamble on their Android or iPhone. I haven't seen any of the gambling sites promoting their gambling apps.
Also, if anyone wants to gamble while not being at home, he or she may open the gambling site on the browser of the mobile. I don't know why mobile apps are not popular among gamblers and this behavior from them. Even I always open the gambling site on my system.
1186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any casino site offer Ludo game? on: April 02, 2023, 10:58:37 AM
@OP I think since you're u already have a friend who plays this game with you, why not gamble with him and also invite others with similar interests to join and you guys can just bet to play and the winner be given the entire bettings.

This is really good advice!

If you already have someone around you who shares this game with you, you can always offer to bet on your games.
But it's clear that if one of you is really better than the other, it won't last long.

Ludo is not a gambling game and hence I don't think it will be available in gambling games. It also does not fit in any slot games.
Also, LUDO is not a game that is played globally through a tournament and hence we shall not get the opportunity to bet on any LUDO games.

Yes, we can still bet manually like if we play with our friends and set the prizes that who will win the game will get a certain amount of money but I don't think we can call it gambling.  Huh
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online casino always take risks? on: April 01, 2023, 10:17:37 PM
Why to look for new casino if there are popular crypto casinos promoted by different influencers?
If the feedback by other users is fake and everything looks too good to be true then it is definitely not safe place.
Regarding first question, promotions are paid by marketing teams who also has budget coming from house edge of any games available on Casino.

There are two different things to be considered. First, if an influencer promotes a fake casino, the casino might gain short term hype but in the long term, people will not play that casino because they will realize that the casino is a scam. Also, the people will also stop trusting that influencer who shilled the scam casino and he will lose his followers. I hope influencers know that it is not easy to gain a reputation and therefore they should not promote anything which is a scam.

Secondly, the trusted good casino can also contact the influencers to promote their casino and it is another very productive way of marketing and gaining more gamblers on the site.
1188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2years of trading! on: April 01, 2023, 09:50:54 PM
Trading is not about reading of books or hypothesis of other traders but you have to be there and done that yourself. Some writers of trading books or journals are not traders or are fall out traders who don't have the courage to continue in losses because they are confused and can rely on their failure to begin to profit outside trading by writing journals on it. Trading is practical, no matter what you have read on trading, be prepared to make your mistakes and move from it by giving yourself time to correct it.

The OP is not saying that we only read books about trading and do not practically do the trading. Of course, he means that we may read books, learn about trading, and then also practically do the trading, as it is the experience that may make us perfect trader.
Trading is also a mind game where you need to control your emotions and have proper money management. You may not win all the trades but you need to be disciplined in all the trades. Only this way you will be able to survive in this financial market which is made to snatch money from you.
1189  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is a big fraud. on: April 01, 2023, 08:52:47 PM
Royse777 you are a fraud manager. You are stealing a lot of money from Signature campaign. A thieving manager like you is not needed on the forum.

And who are you ? A newbie with no guts to come up with his original account to say the same thing?

Yes I will come to you very soon. I am a DT member. I know it is not illegal to have a single account in this forum.

I haven't seen such a Coward DT member who need to hide his face under a newbie account.

Ok fair enough, as I said could be wrong here, I had noticed that previous campaign were bitcoin addresses weren't applied for publicly or escrow address provided... To me on April 1st it still seems like a joke the idea of offering $10 per post to Legendary members though. Be interesting to find out if it's real or not! Baring in mind Royse could of clalrfied it wasn't an April fools joke, but this hasn't been done as far as I'm aware...

As for this topic, April fools joke or not, it's still an utter joke.

Even if that campaign relaunched is an April fool joke, still that won't make Royse a fraud. Common people, have a open heart to accept people will fool you on this date  Smiley
1190  Other / Meta / Re: April Fool on: April 01, 2023, 02:53:53 AM
I guess theymos forgot to add the CAPTCHA on creating a NEW thread???

There is still a Captcha to solve if you create a new thread but the good thing is that you will have to get minimum coins in order to create a thread and hence its a loop hole to prove that you are not a spammer. Smiley

By the way, everyone is talking about the captcha, what about the coins we collect while solving the captcha? Are these coins worth holding ? Are these coins bitcoin killer ?  Tongue
1191  Other / Meta / Re: New CAPTCHA now required before posting on: April 01, 2023, 02:16:50 AM
In order to reduce the number the low-value posts, I had PowerGlove design a state-of-the-art, AI-enhanced CAPTCHA which will identify all low-IQ people. You'll have to complete the CAPTCHA before posting.

This is the first AI Captcha i have seen and it proves that AI can never be able to compete for real Human analysis.
As you can see over the years, humans perfectly analyzed who is a spammer, but this AI is suggesting that everyone here is a spammer.

Those who think that AI will replace human minds, they are totally wrong and theymos have proved it that Robotics and AI can never replace mankind and the human race.
1192  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: March 31, 2023, 11:39:53 PM
This is a new drama out of the many dramas that 1xbit has done.
We can see from the complainant's account using a new account registered in this forum, I suspect this is one of their shill accounts to make something that seems to solve the problem but even though it's just their charade to attract new users to fall into the 1xbit trap.
There are lots of plays done by 1xbit to be able to trick other people into entering this gambling and of course those who are often fooled are new users.
It should be noted for anyone to always be careful with this play.

This new tactic may not be able to work in their favor because if someone falsely claim that their issue is resolved, it will have no impact unless the users who are affected, their own claims also settle down.

Let me give you an example on this. Let's suppose my 100$ are stuck at 1xbit and i file an appeal or complain to them. Now it does not matter if fake people / accounts come here and says that their issues are being resolved. i would only trust them only if my own issue is resolved. So i think these tactics won't work not even in the short term.
1193  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much you have earned through crypto referral on: March 31, 2023, 11:11:16 PM
Means refering from crypto related site like nexo, binance, etc.
this is kind of affiliate marketing,
I had tried by running ptc ads on PTC site (no google adsense or facebook ads) I didn't got results(which is obvious why someone invest in nexo if he is trying to earn through PTC sites)
how you refer what do you do to convince anyone to make account on sites. like you have blog, website, etc.
i heard on this forum, some people said i had over 100 referral. i also want that much referral, can you suggest some ideas?

I used to involve in PTC sometime back but evener since i came in crypto, i have left these low paying work. Also i have accounts at exchanges but never tried to engage myself to earn the referrals. The reason is that referral are not something through which everyone can earn money. It is only for the influencers who have a lot of following and only those can take advantage of this free earning method.

In order for you to gain referrals, you need to show your presence on social media. For example, if you are a trader, you may start your facebook page giving free signals. If the signals and information you provide is good, people will follow you. Once you are popular, you may give them your referral link and many followers will join you.
And for sure, this process will take time until you have your own small community.
1194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: I just got an android on: March 29, 2023, 10:43:06 PM
Seriously screw Apple. This android is amazing. Lol jk. Apple is super simple to use, I kind of miss it.

Now can someone please tell me the best android bitcoin wallet software? Thx.
TREAD

How to do conclude that Apple is simple to use, just try to copy the videos and music from Apple iPhone to PC and try the same from Android to PC and you will know the difference Wink

If you were using the Apple iPhone, you must be using the famous blue wallet, the same wallet work in Android as well and you may use it. You may use Electrum wallet too on your mobile but i don't like it because of its limited features on the phone. It works well on desktop / Laptop.
1195  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Turn Bitcoin into prepaid cards on: March 29, 2023, 05:36:12 PM
Why smaller amount in the prepaid card is not available? Shouldn't you have a low amount when you are just starting out so that those who are going to enter it will know if it is worth the amount of Bitcoin they are going to enter.

Because the 100$ minimum seems impractical in my opinion. Then it can still be used. And I also noticed that its other features and interface design are not that good.

Since the site is new they should have that $10 card so everyone can test it before spending a big amount like 100$ and later realizing they have wasted their money. Also, they should vouch for this service and give some free cards to the ones who want to test this service. I do not think anyone would be willing to get these cards unless they hear any positive feedback about the site.

They were too lazy that they even copied their terms of service, even the location and phone numbers. They just changed only the name  Grin

So do we conclude that this is a scam site and we should stay away from it  Huh
1196  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: March 29, 2023, 05:17:11 PM
Those who wish Binance listing so badly, how many BFG do you hold? How many tokens you want to dump so badly that you sleep and dream about listing? I bet you have not more than several hundreds bucks worth tokens. New token listing rarely gives huge price multipliers. Based on coinmarketcap info, alts get x5-x10 on DEXes, so imho expect around x5 in most positive scenarios if BFG gets listed on Binance. What makes that you want to get your thousand or two, and drawn BFG to the bottom. Will it really be worth to drawn BetFury like that?

If at any day binance listing is announced, it will create a lot of hype and obviously, the price of BFG tokens will rise. I don't say that the price will continue to remain high as we are in a bear market.
If the team is really smart and willing to list on binance, they should make it happen during the bull season as at that time the prices may even cross the all time high. The timing of listing on the biggest exchange matters a lot.
1197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value till 2033? on: March 28, 2023, 11:13:13 PM
I'm sure if bitcoin can last for another 10 years then the price will reach at least $ 500k, maybe the cheapest transaction fee is $ 1000, it's natural that the price will be very expensive because the trend of rising prices is always fantastic on bitcoin.

Why do you think that bitcoin could not last for another 10 years? The world financial and banking sector is on a collapse and there is no reason why bitcoin should not last for another 10 years. Due to high inflation, people will soon realize that real store of value is only Bitcoin BTC

I think 10 years is a long time and difficult to predict, 10 years ago or in 2013 prices below $ 200 and have now risen more than 140x or 14,000%, there is no investment in the world that provides profits of more than 14k percent in a period of 10 years, And I'm sure in 2033 prices can reach at least 20x from the current price.

With an asset class such as bitcoin, it is hard to predict its price of it in coming years. First of all, bitcoin is highly volatile and secondly, the demand for bitcoin in coming years can increase too much. Since bitcoin is fixed in supply, it can grow exponentially which may be beyond anyone's thinking.
1198  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 28, 2023, 10:43:35 PM
But then, we can not deny the fact that, there are many out there that have taken gambling as a business, they seem to be professionals in it, I have guys like this in my neighborhood, sometimes, I do admire their choice of profession(gambling), but I've always avoided any association with them because, I can't imagine myself taking up gambling as a profession.
And that's the origin where what we call "gambling addiction" gets started because thou there are siding hustles where someone can make money opening a sports betting shop or viewing centers that are gamble related, taking it as a profession is way too extreme, as normally it was meant to be for entertainment and partly for side income, since the outcome of gambling is not always certain, as you can either win or lose today depending on how skillful you are.
And all of this is driven by a gambling strategy to give customers big wins so that they become even more addicted.
As we feel today we bet to win $ 500, indirectly our psychology will change and return to gambling the next day with hopes of more than $ 500.
But in reality they lose more and end up chasing losses and become addicted.

This immature behavior by gamblers is usually the fuel for the gambling casino and that is the reason why owning a gambling casino is the most profitable business. The gamblers are unable to control their emotions and gambling sites utilize this to their own favor. They give such bonuses and offers which compel gamblers to keep on playing even if they are constantly losing.

I would add to the OP statement that "" No Gambling Casino is a Waste"  Cool
1199  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I'm looking for your project for an ICO portal. No costs. on: March 28, 2023, 02:31:36 PM
I am looking for new ICO projects to enter them in my ICO portal.

A booking of the advertising space mentioned in the other Treath is not necessary. There is no connection. The entry is free of charge. The advertising optional.

First of all, I don't think any project will contact you for the ICO listing unless you have a portal with a lot of traffic. Since you have not mentioned the name of the portal, I assume that it would be a new ICO listing site.

I would advise you to see other ICO portals like icodrops.com and list those projects ICO on your site. Also, you may research new projects and try to list them before anyone else. I am sure if your site provides first hand information about ICOs, it will soon gain popularity.
1200  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Want to see what it takes for your favorite crypto to hit it's ATH? on: March 27, 2023, 11:10:50 PM
Am I the only one or do others also have this error I cannot fill in the coin that I want to write or there are no options to choose the coins it just shows blank space, this is a good tool if you can fix this, I tried in on 3 other browsers but I have the same results on all of them.

You type in the white space. I just tested it in 2 different browsers with no issues.

I am open to suggestions on what else to add here as we thought about a ranking system for searched coins. For example, you search shib, and we show that search along with data below it showing the top shib holder wallets or something like that.

I also tried your site but i have a question, why does the white space appear above the text box. When we click on "Search your coin" text box, it should allow us to write in the same text box. It looks strange that a new text box of white color pops up above it, as shown in below screenshot.

Anyways overall your site has a good use case as now we can automatically calculate the market cap and do not have to do it manually. I will surely bookmark this site.  Smiley
