121  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit/1xbet scam on: September 25, 2021, 07:45:27 AM
Someone should compile the scams that 1xbit has committed and at the same time make it the only thread where you can post your report in regards to getting scammed by 1xbit.
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things to know before trading. on: September 25, 2021, 06:43:38 AM
Here are some of mine that helped me and can probably help you:
1. Know the risk in the first place, this isn't going to be a walk in the park.
2. Always take profit but don't settle for less when you know that you can do more.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin through SMS/Text Messaging? on: September 25, 2021, 04:18:44 AM
It's hard to do this right now because most online transactions need Internet and SMS hasn't advanced in a long time so it's hard to do that not to mention that we also have to understand that we need to connect the SMS transactions to blockchain and prepare some security measures.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China issue a nationwide ban on cryptocurrency mining, on: September 25, 2021, 03:27:09 AM
there are several countries that are trying to ban cryptocurrency mining due to various reasons, i think the main reason they are trying to ban crypto mining is due to that crypto can be used in illegal purposes and since trading in crypto is anonymous in the web then tracking this transactions can be very hard for them and will only delay the investigation when it comes to apprehending the perpetrators
It's not really the case, crypto is traceable and most government have their own ways to trace those crypto if it ever fall to the wrong hands, although it's going to need a lot of patience and grit though. It has been a decade already, pretty sure that tracking technology has advanced already.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ransomware and Bitcoin on: September 25, 2021, 02:25:19 AM
No, they can't stop the hackers to keep going with ransomware. Even if they ban bitcoin and et. al, these hackers will still attack those vulnerable people and then no one will stop them from asking crypto from their victims. They should track down these hackers.
What a brilliant idea, giving sanction to crypto and banning bitcoin, who are they against with? nobody can stop the usage of these and they should stop the hackers instead.
Their attack on crypto to allegedly protect the cyber infrastructure from ransomware will only protect them from local attacks/threats but not from international attacks, remember that Russia is secretly funding cyber criminals to attack USA albeit their denying it, they're protecting them still.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter to pay content creators in bitcoin on: September 25, 2021, 01:52:08 AM
And yet some countries are still busy resolving how to ban Bitcoin? Ha! Moves like this are great for Bitcoin, having millions(twitter says to have 192 million active users) of people get to know more about being their own bank and escaping the unwanted shadow of the government. These countries that Ban crypto are only trying what they can; what will be will be. People are already learning the truth and will not unlearn it! It's only a matter of time before they find cryptocurrency users uncontrollable.
Everyone in the platform will try to appeal to the crypto population when it comes to crypto donations, that I am sure of. It's good for the crypto community but given how toxic Twitter is, pretty sure that if the crypto market has these toxic people taken in, pretty sure that we will see the market move much more erratic and volatile because these toxic people are the epitome of cancel culture and I am sure that bitcoin isn't safe when that happens.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is crypto trading different from forex trading. on: September 24, 2021, 03:23:40 PM
Probably not that much, it's just what's traded that is different between the two although I wouldn't really recommend getting in crypto trading because it's not really that profitable.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What every new trader should be focused on on: September 24, 2021, 02:26:45 PM
They should focus on studying and learning more about the market and slowly gain experience to start trading for real, money is an important aspect in this world so you better make the right decisions when it comes to trading and learning a lot and gaining experience in the least risky way should be your goal to make sure that you're not going to lose money.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: September 24, 2021, 01:36:31 PM
Buy now while the prices are going low, spend a portion of your money to buy the current dip and if unfortunately/fortunately another dip happens, you can spend another portion of your capital, it's not too late to buy, remember the saying "Better late than never"? This applies to that too.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum reach $5,000 by 2021? on: September 24, 2021, 09:57:21 AM
No one guarantees when any currency will reach what position, because this will interfere with the investment of novices, but anyone who buys cryptocurrencies wants the currency they bought to rise, so don’t listen to other people’s lies, but Have your own analysis!
Totally agree, we can't be sure of the position of the prices in the future but we can always predict and hope that it will go to that point eventually, a little faith and patience on what's to come is going to be helpful in making things more easy for you to not stress things over, just hodl and wait, you don't want to miss out when prices skyrockets.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin.org hacked. on: September 24, 2021, 08:57:14 AM
But let be sincerely with ourselves why some people stood so low and dense to keep sending btc to scammer because some people want double btc in return how can that be possible, we just just have to be careful because those hacker are ready to steal all your investment.
Because they're not as smart as you and that was their first encounter of this kind of thing, not to mention that they're also probably desperate and greedy that they always want to try out things that's going to make them quick cash even if it's too good to be true.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin suitable to become legal tender? on: September 24, 2021, 08:18:18 AM
Yes it's suitable, legal tender just means that it's recognized by the legal system for paying your transactions and bitcoin has been used for that so I really don't see how bitcoin's not suitable to have the title of legal tender, it gives the public the option on how to pay for their transactions.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin tipping on Twitter on: September 24, 2021, 07:17:34 AM
This is a pretty good one especially for the influencers because if they join the bandwagon, they will be able to influence their fanbase to adopt bitcoin too and with more people using bitcoin, the market will eventually go up. Hackers will be feasting on this one though because they can hack verified people with influence to make a fake donation.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elizabeth Warren claims on: September 24, 2021, 05:35:38 AM
You forgot about the trillions of dollars that the US banks are laundering for drug lords and other big criminals. Besides most of the stolen cryptocurrencies are from centralized exchanges that newbies keep trusting with their keys, if the DEX projects grew more (which they will as the government pushes for more KYC on CEXes) this number drops to practically nothing.
They won't tell you that or even acknowledge that, they're going to deny it no matter how obvious the shit that they're pulling is, they're the government so they know that they can do shit like this, their the biggest corporation in a country after all.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL vs Staking, What is the best strategy? on: September 24, 2021, 03:23:54 AM
Staking is better than hodling, you're growing your cryptocurrencies every single day and at the same time you're also hodling your cryptocurrencies, although it's really small in amount depending on how much you've staked but it's still making you more of what you're hodling so it's not that bad at all.
136  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT!! BITCOIN.ORG official website Hacked and Offering 2× return. on: September 23, 2021, 05:45:10 PM
Cobra - Scammer
Cobra organized everything himself, and CloudFlare has nothing to do with it
What? You're the one here that has the negative trust and you're blaming Cobra when he was relinquished of his title as the maintainer of the website, nice move from CSW and you to frame him.
137  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1XBIT SCAM!!!! STAY AWAY!!! on: September 23, 2021, 05:07:34 PM
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM SITE THEY STEAL YOUR FUNDS AND VOID ALL YOUR WON BETS
That's their modus operandi, they don't give your wins or even your money if you try to withdraw it because they are bitter that someone wins their casino and that the money is going out of their hands.
138  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: chipmixer.one clone of chipmixer.com is showing front page of Google on: September 23, 2021, 04:20:59 PM
This site has been used for different type of scams already, isn't that the meaning of the Hosting History in there, right? That it was a different back then and that they've changed the name again?
139  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] Gomatoken.com ~ Rug Pull to be. on: September 23, 2021, 03:12:07 PM
I didn't participate in this bounty but I can feel the sentiments behind and I don't think that patience is going to be helpful in this situation, they're trying to ignore the bounty in the Telegram discussion meaning that they're planning some sort of exit towards paying those bounty hunters, also worth mentioning that this thread wouldn't exist in the first place if the patience of the people hadn't been abused.
140  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] Gomatoken.com ~ Rug Pull to be. on: September 23, 2021, 02:36:49 PM
They're trying to hog all the money, they didn't get a lot of money from pumping their token so they decided not to pay the other half and delay if not cut off any contacts with the bounty, hopefully these can be resolved, I don't get how they're not holding up their end of the bargain.
