121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 17, 2024, 03:56:38 PM
I didn`t see the whole match, but does anyone who saw it know if the red card was right or wrong?
Depends on who you ask I guess. As a neutral, I think you can say it is a red card since Araujo went for the man and it was in a 1v1/last man position IIRC, Gundogan seems to think so if this report is correct[1]. Whether it should be a red or not, it is clear that Araujo makes a terrible decision, and probably should've let the man run if he failed to defend him. Some Barca fans seem to think the red card is controversial though, and they feel like they deserve a penalty when Gundogan was down inside PSG's box. CMIIW.

Daniele De Rossi is already a hero in Roma but if he manages to take the club to UCL, he would become a legend. It is amazing to see how a relatively inexperienced coach has turned the club around within a short period.
It makes me wonder if Mourinho is just bad at man management or if there is something else. IIRC, the last few clubs that he coached turned out better after he left (except Man United maybe). Credit to De Rossi though, I don't think a team can be better in such a short amount of time without new signings if the coach doesn't know what he's doing. While it can also be a temporary effect, it is more than enough for Roma, which means the real test would be how he navigates the next season. They should win the game against Bologna since that will put them one point short to champions league spot. CMIIW.

But I have to give two thumbs up to Pedro Acosta because he was able to immediately make extraordinary improvements with the motorbike in his Gasgas team even though he used the KTM engine brand. Meanwhile, Marquez is on the Gresini team using a Ducati engine but has to compete fiercely with a rookie who has just entered the MotoGP class this season. Obviously this was extraordinary even though Marquez had to go home without any points because he fell in the race.
Yeah, that's why it feels surprising seeing how I can see similarities between Rossi-Marquez to Marquez-Acosta or whoever showed a lot of promise as a rookie. This is obviously a simplification and I'm not going to call Acosta the next Marquez or something along those lines, it is just interesting to see. I remember reading how Marquez kept struggling after his big injury in 2020, I guess it is impossible to be consistent for 7 straight seasons even if you're still quite young. Sometimes luck also plays a part so it is hard to argue what he can do better to achieve the next world champion.

But let's also not forget that their are some individuals who are wealthy but still love to mingle with common people sometimes and won't even mind going to a bar or sports viewing centres to view matches with their fellow fans, well I think the kind of personality an individual is also matters too.
I know one guy who regularly watches along with his friend and makes money from that. He usually watches alone if the match is not interesting though. So there can be a business side to this too. I don't think you can call him a celebrity, but he's definitely famous. At the very least, the average football fan should know him. What I don't understand is why people view his livestream since they need to stream the match separately. Sometimes he asks his viewers too and some of them only watch his live stream and follow the match through livescore. I guess some people enjoy watching fans' emotions more than the football itself, especially if they are rival fans.
125  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: April 17, 2024, 01:18:22 PM
And they don't seem to care much about their tokens so even though there is some trading volume, the token price is not improving.
How is that possible though? A huge trading volume usually means the liquidity is good, so moving the price needs some effort. If the team explicitly abandons the token and brings no effort to market themselves whatsoever, wouldn't that usually result in a loss of trading volume? I'm not familiar with casino tokens, but most alts that I followed behave the same way. They probably need to improve their product or increase the token usage to improve the demand, or else it will continue to be stagnant or decrease significantly.

I suspect most casino token demands come from the marketing/hype itself, considering the utility is usually the same. I wonder why they don't explore more on that topic, either the cost is not worth their time or they don't plan on improving the token usage from the beginning.
126  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where do i find sister sites to the following... (22bet, spinbetter, 1win) on: April 16, 2024, 05:41:11 PM
the sites aboved is sites i have had accounts on, withdrawn and moved on to the next (due to account being limited) - so from my POV - i have not had any issues with those. The withdrawal process have been taken some time but as mentioned, my money has always came.
The thing Im looking for is sites that offers the same software provider, BETB2B, since these sites offering the same markets/games/odds
What is the reason they keep limiting you though? I feel like they will limit you again even if you keep registering to new websites as long as you use the same provider. Maybe ask them why, then try to change if you can solve the problem. If not, looking for other providers is probably your best bet. I'd count account limitation as an issue, especially if you are no longer allowed to use the platform as you wish to, or worst case scenario request a withdrawal.
127  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: April 16, 2024, 04:24:50 PM
Yes, it is actually amazing that governments do not see Bitcoin (Crypto currencies) as legal tender, but they still allow casinos to operate. They know their own citizens are gambling on sites that are not licensed in their own country, but they still allow it.
I don't think they necessarily allow it, but they have yet to find the time and effort to actually block them. In my country, a lot of overseas platforms related to illegal activity based on our national law are blocked, and the list is getting bigger. I don't think it is efficient nor it will stop people from finding or launching new services though, but the government definitely wants to stop such things from happening. Not sure how other countries tackle this issue, I don't think having a license from Curacao or other offshore countries will help their cases anyway.

The license ensures trust and belief for its users.
I don't think that's the general sentiment on this forum though. IIRC, some people shared articles about existing casino licenses and how the users can verify the license themselves. I think that's what this license offers, not necessarily ensuring they don't scam you or something similar. I don't think a crypto-based business should rely on blind trust tbh.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar being addicted to online poker on: April 16, 2024, 03:55:53 PM
Neymer is Neymer, I am me, what he can afford to lose when gambling can't be the same amount as mine, either he is responsible or not, I doubt it will affect him much compare to someone who is still struggling financially, and I do believe that the most addicted gamblers are people who are still struggling financially in life, not Neymar.
I remember reading some articles saying that some famous actors who fall into gambling addiction also have a huge debt on their back, if anything this can deter people from falling into gambling addiction. If someone who makes millions per month can get bankrupt from addiction, then the chance the average joe to face the same issue or worse is higher. While it is true that Neymar is probably fine even if he loses a lot of money, it can be a good lesson to share with others to avoid reckless behavior when they gamble. After all, it is easier for people to accept some lessons from famous individuals instead of some random social media users who may or may not be a bot.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where would you prefer to watch your favorite team? on: April 16, 2024, 03:02:08 PM
Have you ever visited some random pirate websites that stream a football match? My favorite website to stream matches is anything where you can filter some dumb comments on a live match. Sometimes it is more entertaining than the match itself, especially when one club is overly dominant and I'm just a neutral fan. There are tons of dumb takes or incredible jinxes whenever you view the chats, which is why it is a good place to laugh if you can take them as jokes. Sometimes they are going a bit too far though, but there is always an option to ignore them.

I never watched a live match in a stadium, and I don't plan to do so either since going overseas to watch a football match is a luxury that I can't afford. On the other hand, my local club is just a terrible tier-3 club that doesn't even play that well in a bottom-tier division.
130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why not create a Gambling platform on Market narrative? on: April 16, 2024, 02:32:39 PM
I mean the platform is just to predict the market trends, but in reality, we only notice the trends during the bull run. So how about the during the regular season? How can this platform still stay in the business?
I think OP assumes that anyone can run a prediction regardless of the market trends. I believe the platform will likely make a lot of money from an unpredictable market since the RNG is not too skewed in one direction. Imagine if you run a betting platform that predicts up or down on BTC but the market is in a bullish period, anyone who bets on down will likely get rekt. That being said, the developer can limit the timeframe to something as short as one minute or so. At that point, it is similar to running an option trading platform instead of a casino.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 15, 2024, 11:56:31 AM
That's right, it's not easy for Marquez to win the title this year. From the two races that have taken place, we can see that the opponents he has to beat are not just Pecco and Martin, in fact many other racers are giving strong resistance, so that's not a problem. It's easy for Marquez to win the title this year.
It is quite surreal seeing Marquez struggle and new exceptional riders showing up at the same time. Kinda reminds me of when Rossi was being threatened by the rise of Marquez and other riders in his latter years. The drama it brings is interesting, but Rossi didn't compete with his teammate directly. While I no longer follow MotoGP closely, seeing new riders that I've never heard of suddenly in the top 5 shows that the competition is still strong, as long as you ride the best manufacturer that is.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about videos on mistakes in gambling sites and games? on: April 14, 2024, 01:03:10 PM
The strange thing is that there are some people who believe everything that is published on those accounts and channels, as they try to apply those steps, which are always useless, and they end up hacking their accounts sometimes, without researching and Verify that this information is correct before doing anything.
Sadly some people are always that desperate to try and get money as quickly as possible, it is also likely that they don't know the ins and outs of the platform they're watching so education is the key to preventing them from falling into scams. I also think YouTube, or the platform where the video is published should have some degree of responsibility over content like that. I'm not sure how quickly they remove scams or shady videos though, considering most reports are handled by bots, and most of the time they require a lot of reports before it is processed.
133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptoreaper.io----We have created a gambling website on: April 14, 2024, 11:59:49 AM
Email and password kind of registration and login aren't even the easiest, I believe that the reason why op implemented the discord login system is to make access to the platform easy for user, but personally, I think that google login is even faster, and since there is no smart phone without a Google account, even iPhone users do have google accounts, introducing Google login would have been the best.
What's the difficult part about registering with e-mail and password though? Especially if the user can use salt accounts to register or make a guest account. Even if your e-mail provider is blocked, there are tons of alternatives out there (and OP can change the filter if it is required). I'd argue that using Discord login is just making things harder and won't achieve the easy-to-register goal. If it were me, I'd also avoid registering with Google accounts since who knows how much data they collected behind the scenes. Using Google or other privacy-intrusive accounts is also terrible for privacy. I agree that OP needs to add more sign-up options, preferably ones that don't require my social media accounts such as Twitter/Discord login, etc.
134  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Platform Exchanges Di Indonesia on: April 13, 2024, 02:27:07 PM

135  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [List] Dompet Bitcoin - Wallet Sofware on: April 13, 2024, 02:01:09 PM
136  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Growth Metrics For Transparency of Crypto Exchanges on: April 13, 2024, 01:54:51 PM
On the other hand, I'm also glad that we're starting to see some level of accountability from cex and I'd like this practice to continue. The reports on CoinTelegraph were detailed & thumbs up to the platform for stepping up
What do you mean by accountability? The proof of reserves mentioned above? Personally, I might change my mind if an exchange got hacked and managed to recover all funds without any trouble, but that's it. I'd never trust them with my personal data and stuff like that. Even if they have great insurance policies, and they are as transparent as we want them to be, it is always a bad idea to trust a centralized business because of that. What might change is my leeway for them to make mistakes, but I'll never change my believe that exchange platform is just a place to trade, no more no less.
137  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: illyvoip.com accepts bitcoin payments for voip, did and sms on: April 13, 2024, 12:59:56 PM
About bad reviews, I think they're competitors behind masks who want to damage their reputation, I guarantee you will never have trouble with them.
How can you give such a guarantee though? I mean, you're literally using a newbie account with little to no history on this forum, even if the service is legit your review likely won't be enough to vouch for their service. If your goal is to contribute to the forum, maybe find other topics to discuss instead of making advertisement threads for services that are not well-known in the forum. Saying that bad reviews are from a competitor is also a hasty conclusion, considering how small their existing users are judging from their Telegram members. Not to mention their social media only has a single post, an ETH address, and no further interaction with their community (if they even exist).
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation become big challenge for retired people after 10-20 years? on: April 13, 2024, 12:39:43 PM
There's definitely going to be people who's going to  let their money be affected unknowingly though since there's probably at least 2-3 out of 10 people that wouldn't know how inflation works in the first place.
In my country, it feels like everybody knows their wealth will decrease if they don't save or invest in one way or the other. The current trend for young workers is having a dream to move to the countryside and build a home over there since the price is cheap. I believe most people have more or less the same dream right now, considering how expensive homes or apartments are in big cities. The problem is the lack of job opportunities in the countryside, but most of them plan to work from home after they enter retirement. So while inflation is not well understood, at the very least most of them have plans to look for cheaper alternatives or actively look for jobs with higher payments every two years or so.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Play to earn model vs move to earn model. on: April 12, 2024, 09:42:00 PM
Upon reading, Sweatcoin and Sweat Economy are just one right?
That seems to be the case. Sweatcoin is basically a product for non-crypto users while they offer Sweat Walelt for crypto users, at least that's what they said on their website. Sounds like Uniswap and their UNI token, or just any altcoin project in general.

This reminds me, I used to track my physical activity with an app a few years ago. They offered rewards in the form of free stickers or wallpaper if I reached a certain milestone. Some argue that these rewards can help my brain feel rewarded for every exercise, but I never feel that way. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I got a token for doing exercise, but I'd feel terrible if my goal is to earn money by doing squats and I only earn $1 after a month or so.
140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can I anonymously get Monero with Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: April 12, 2024, 08:24:54 PM
No I am not, why is it not to be trusted? Because they're not the one that pays for your signature?
Works well for me.
I mean they did explain the reason why. If you find a website that clearly imitates a well-known service with little to no history, are you really going to trust it with your money? Sure, you make one or two trades successfully, but there's no guarantee they won't run away/block your funds when you start sending them more money with a made-up reason such as a KYC check. Judging from your recent post history though, I tend to believe you're doing marketing for them as mentioned above instead of really looking for a good place to trade Monero anonymously.
