122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: January 16, 2019, 07:03:40 PM
Video call for kyc verification?? Is it possible? Do you think it is the best way , rather than uploading your documents for kyc verification process? Most bounty campaigns and ICOs nowadays required a kyc.

If video call for Kyc verification is possible, what is the best and secure app to you use for video call

it is a bit more uncomfortable as a KYC verification method, but at least once the video call is over the KYC has already been verified and the procedure is finished.
123  Local / Annunci / Re: [ANN] UBIATARPLAY : AIRDROP-ICO-BOUNTY on: January 13, 2019, 04:50:04 PM

Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why?

I'm very hopeful about the future, but it takes time.

Scalability issues must be faced and solved before mass adoption, like for example Lightning Network is being implemented on Bitcoin and slowly, more and more people will participate in the crypto world. And we must not forget also the bitcoin halving that will take place next year, in 2020.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 13, 2019, 04:32:25 PM
would you open a loan to buy the dip? and when it dips again you would open up another loan to buy the dip. and lets say repeat the process. probably no one is doing this. because being in debt is a bad thing. just depends on far u would invest into bitcoin or even crypto currency. sad it has to dip in the first place.

Never make loans to invest, especially in high-risk investments such as cryptocurrencies. You will surely sleep better at night and live with less stress  Smiley

127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why So Bloody Hard to Buy Crypto? on: January 13, 2019, 04:22:12 AM
I think buying crypto is rather easy now, you can always buy from localbitcoins and services like that.

Well, I think for the majority of users is surely much more easy to buy bitcoin from a trusted exchange than from peer-to-peer services. Localbitcoin and these service are more useful if you want to buy via cash, in my opinion.
128  Local / Alt-Currencies (Italiano) / Re: Security Token Offerings (STO) - Ovvero le ICO regolamentate. on: January 13, 2019, 04:17:41 AM

Staremo a vedere...

130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2019 on: January 13, 2019, 04:10:20 AM
Over time and technological advances in the digital era, many people have been very interested in investing some of their money in the world of cryptocurrency such as Ethereum / (Altcoins). What are your plans for next year, and will you participate in the ICO?
Thank you.

It depends on the project. If the project we are talking about is good and with potential, why not?

I'm also interested in the development of the new emergent security tokens Offering (STO) market.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: do we still have hope to be able to see bull run?? on: January 13, 2019, 04:07:35 AM
now the market falls again, do we still have hope to be able to see bull run. no one knows when the market can recover. even with the many good news about the ethereum hardfork unable to make the market jump. so I thought bull run would only be a dream for all of us.

You are right, no one knows for sure when the market will recover. However, I'm confident it's only a matter of time. I think anyway, that many altcoin projects won't survive the bearish market.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: January 13, 2019, 04:05:29 AM
Every time bitcoin has a price drop, everyone is saying that bitcoin is dead, but then it returns every time stronger than before.

As already happened in the past  Wink
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Our future with Crypto on: January 13, 2019, 03:59:51 AM
The banking system is not perfect. It is slow, expensive. But, for now, I see no other way out.
Show me a cryptocurrency, which I can pay at the supermarket in seconds for some products. BTC? It is also expensive and time-consuming.
I see cryptocurrency can replace the banking system. But not now.

Yes, I agree, it is a goal maybe reachable with time, but still far away.

First of all, the scalability problems must be solved to easily support a high number of transactions without the fees getting too high.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority will lose money and minds on: January 12, 2019, 03:54:16 PM
The only reason why people buy bitcoin, is to make money. I believe in the tech, its the future blah blah blah. Your here to make "sick" gains, most will not have the stomach for it. How many investors bought 100 btc for $100 and sold them at $20,000 each, practically none.

Say bitcoin reaches $1 million and you invested now at $3800. You honestly think you wont sell when it hits $50,000 or any other figure that will improve your life significantly. Nobody knows if, when or how it will happen.

Don't waste your life waiting for a win, you will end up going crazy. Invest yeah sure, check it once a week / month on progress and just let it be man. For all we know, it could be outlawed and crash to $0 tomorrow.

Yeah, I think most of the people are in the market to make good gains. However, this still helps to spread the voice about bitcoin to the mass. The more people are invested, the more known it will be!
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project? on: January 12, 2019, 03:50:47 PM
Can you help me choose projects? Last year I met 15 scam projects. very depressed.

Read carefully the Whitepaper, analyze the team's members profile and ask questions on their Telegram or Discord chat. Then you can make a better decision. However, in this bearish market, also the good projects dump at the listing...
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are dead! Yeah I mean DEAD!!!! on: January 12, 2019, 03:47:38 PM
Here's what I really don't like about ICOs and why they're dead to me:

1. "After ICO, the token's rate would be $X.XX per coin/token"

Excuse me? Really? Yeah we know the hype, right? Been there already. Most ICOs don't live up to their promise that their rate in exchanges would be that high amount. For example, there's an ICO whose token is worth $0.01 and claims that when it hits exchanges, they will be worth at least $0.20. But hell no!!! The reality is that when it hits exchanges, the rates are way below the ICO price!

So ICOs, don't make promises you can't keep, especially claiming that the amount will be huge when it hits exchanges coz' it mostly likely not gonna happen. Sad reality. Nothing but hype!

2. "We're pausing the campaign until further notice"

What kind of f***ing excuse is that? I know most of their fucking delay strategies just to let their community think that they should trust them no matter what. They keep motivating them on Telegram, Facebook, Twitter or so, but in the end, they would silently abandon their project without announcing to the public. Worst of all, they're taking the investors' money away and hide in their private luxurious islands, yachts or so. Bear market? Naaahhh not a valid excuse you morons! You're just using that term to your advantage just to make the community believe in you until you silently run away with our hard-earned funds!

3. "We're focusing on the project's development before we hit exchanges."

Sorry to say that the truth is that they're doing that because of not having enough money to list in exchanges. Whaaaaaat? I can say that it's one of the worst, worst, worst, worst, worst excuses that ICOs are addressing their respective communities. F*** there are some exchanges that are free to get listed such as IDEX, MetaMorph Pro or so, and you can't even have time for the token to get listed? I don't have a f***ing problem when it comes to project development. However, just don't say that you can't get listed in an exchange which is fucking easy on the free ones.

4. "Tokens will be locked for a certain period of time to avoid mass dumping."

For me, this is not fucking true at all. Even if you do that, the market would still be dumping. I've experienced that with a couple of tokens (Seal and Gamestars). As I remembered, Seal locked our tokens for 6 months to avoid dumping. However, after 6 months, when they unlocked it, the price already dumped too hard. The same thing with Gamestars, in which they're giving tokens to bounty hunters batch by batch for like every 3-4 days. The sad reality is that this strategy is old and won't work anymore.

I don't know if you guys felt the same way like I do towards s***ty ICOs! Therefore, I can say that ICOs are a thing in the past. I would root for STOs this time, because they're regulated.

Unfortunately, I've heard these excuses many times. Almost all ICOs are dumping at the listing in this bearish market... but  among them, there are also good projects that I think will recover in the future.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: How to wake up a bear? on: January 12, 2019, 03:44:26 PM
Friends, what are you doing now, when the market situation continues to deteriorate, in your opinion how to take advantage of such a serious decline in order to win at least something? Did you manage to wake up the bear and get at least a small profit? Have you bought any coins in the hope of growth in the new year? I  am only waiting for the market to wake up.

Me the same. I'm just waiting for the market to improve and not doing any active trading at the moment.

But I'm also taking a position in some projects that I believe will do a good performance when the market will hopefully start to be bullish again.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are the 15% on: January 12, 2019, 03:24:56 PM
Uhm, what? How did you come up with the conclusion about bitcoin being a scam just with that statement?

Also, take note that the biggest wallets that contain the biggest number of bitcoins doesn't automatically mean 1000 people own 85% of all bitcoin. Take note that exchanges are a part of that 1000(assuming this statistic is actually true), hence, it doesn't mean that 1000 people own 85% of BTC. Take note that the top exchanges has A LOT of users. We're talking multi-millions here. Binance itself was gaining a few million of users per week just sometime last year. Think about it.

1000 addresses hold 85% of all BTC =/=(not equal to) 1000 people hold 85% of all BTC

This is true about exchanges, but the exchange addresses are just a few and like you said, these addresses refer to thousands of customers. So if we exclude a dozen addresses (or twenty), we are left with, let's say, 990/980 addresses.

It could also be that, apart from the dozen or so addresses related to Exchanges, the other 990 don't belong to 990 different people, but maybe much less. There could also be some big whale who owns maybe 10 or 20 of the biggest addresses that we see in the first thousand. We don't know in reality, because every address is of course anonymous. Maybe (just a supposition) one hundred real people own the majority of bitcoins in the first thousand addresses, apart from the exchange ones.

Here a look of the bitcoin rich list address, where is pointed out the addresses which are owned by exchanges:

139  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: [LISTA] Ottenere Criptovalute senza un acquisto diretto on: January 08, 2019, 08:49:28 PM

140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in 2019? on: January 08, 2019, 08:47:54 PM
The year 2018 is not a profitable year for almost all Crypto fans, especially those who have just tried Crypto and have not enjoyed the benefits/profit. I do not mean to be pessimistic / give up on the current conditions, but how if the market does not improve in 2019? what will you do with all the assets you have?  will you sell all? or Will you make it a treasure?  or will you will get out from Crypto? or any ?
if I, then I will try to survive, who knows because the market changes very quickly.
because I am a new person on Cryptocurrency and still want to keep learning in it  Cheesy

I don't know if the market will recover or not during 2019 (although I'm more optimistic than 2018), anyway I will simply hold the coins of the projects I believe the most, and sell the other ones, waiting for the market to recover.
