121  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: September 09, 2016, 09:00:40 PM
What is the best way to back up a Multibit HD wallet? Sometimes my paranoia is making me think to encrypt the folder containing all the data and encrypt it using 2 or 3 different methods and then moving that folder in a USB. Is this too much? Sometimes the inability to see the private keys also makes me paranoid too.

The whole point of HD wallets is that you back up the seed and that's that.  Keep your secret words and you're good.  Unless you've added other addresses not derived from the seed, for those, back up the private key like you normally would.

Why did clam just 2x? Should I sell some of them I have 2000 clam invested...

2x is very little. Let's wait and see  Wink

Yah, I need it to go back up approx x10 for it to get where I was when I bought Sad

Actually, now that it's up x2, I guess I only need another x8.
123  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: September 09, 2016, 08:32:11 PM
Once again I apologize I have again been temporarily disposed.

All DT and ATiTD servers are now again offline ^_^

I guess this asshole is just going to continue to work fulltime to try to harm others.  Sad.  Who knows what the motivation is for such nonsense.

....and yet again today, as I write.

Looks like a regular Ddos attack.

:-/

GL DT!~

Anyway, everything still seems to be working whenever I try DT (including 10 minutes ago).  Sorry about your experience, Scorp.  I'm sure that Teppy would reimburse the 10mBTC cigar price if you tell him about it.
124  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: September 09, 2016, 04:32:55 PM
Lauda does take affirmative actions to prevent others from criticizing him.
Considering this thread was made when the OP was a Newbie (their 14th post) and Lauda is a patroller (meaning they moderate newbies regardless of the section), why did they not take these 'affirmative actions' in the time between the thread being created and the OP becoming a Jr. Member?

It's important to keep in mind that the OP of this thread is an alt of Quickseller.
125  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: September 07, 2016, 03:52:38 PM
Tip #2: Do not whine about having a deleted post in another post, especially if it was deleted in a self moderated post.
Not whining. I am just pointing out that Lauda is actively trying to cover up the fact that others warned him about the scammy site he was advertising for was scammy.

What about when you were actively trying to cover up the fact that you were using many accounts in order to run sock-puppet smear campaigns against people (come to think of it, seems like it's going on now, again!)?  What about when you were actively trying to cover up the fact that you were using many accounts to scam people out of escrow fees and trick them into sending first in the marketplace here?
126  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: LWOS:Chicken-Island: a 3D multiplayer game to earn satoshi, faucetbox payouts on: August 30, 2016, 09:05:29 PM

Just read the guide (available in several languages)  Smiley
https://littleworldofsatoshi.com/howtoplay

and then click on Book /or Join button.

Read that.  Still don't see any "book" or "join" button anywhere on the page.  I could upload a screenshot but it seems like too much trouble.  Just an FYI for you.  Good luck with your game.
127  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: LWOS:Chicken-Island: a 3D multiplayer game to earn satoshi, faucetbox payouts on: August 30, 2016, 06:45:24 PM

I went to your website, it looked like 2 people were playing, but I couldn't figure out how to start the game.  I clicked on everything on the "play" page, no luck.

Dunno, it's working for me.  What are you trying to achieve here?

I've been temporarily disposed they are all offline again ^_^

Nope, it's still working for me.  I'm not sure if you're lying or just failing a lot.  Why don't you answer about what you're trying to achieve here?

Do not worry. I am still finding dirt on Lauda. I know some reasons why Lauda is still on staff, but I think those reasons will go away soon.

We know that you're still here, you've been trolling Lauda with your main account, Quickseller.  Why do you continue with this sockpuppet account attacks even when it just makes you look more dishonest?

OP is an alt of Quickseller.  He often uses and alt account to start his accusation threads.  Eventually he ends up using the Quickseller account for the attack.  I'm not sure if it's because of some "strategy" if it's just because he forgets to log in and out a lot as he's trying to sockpuppet the thread.
132  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: August 26, 2016, 06:37:52 PM
Most of us use a definition which includes things like cheating people out of escrow money, etc.

Any chance you can cite any evidence proven cases of escrow scamming here on BCT?

~BCX~

Is this an attempt at irony?  I don't get it.  Playing dumb: you know there's a 20 page thread detailing how QS cheated people out of escrow money by fooling them into thinking he was a third party just so that he could collect the fees and not have to use an actual escrow for the deal, right?
133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: August 26, 2016, 06:36:00 PM
Dragon's Tale Bitcoin Casino will be offline for the forthcoming future.

Trolling?

DT is doing new promotions right now:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1591143.0

They've been around for about 6 years or so, what makes you think they're going offline "forthcoming"?
134  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Dragon's Tale: 3+ BTC of Freerolls prizes this month on: August 26, 2016, 06:34:34 PM
RESULTS for Thursday  Tournament Series: Tug

For Tug:
For the BTM 21 Pyramid-7 pool by Full Rank:
             BeatriceChanel won BTM 5.25
             Hezaza won BTM 4.50
             Joes won BTM 3.37
             nullclick won BTM 3.37

This game was fought out between BeatriceChanel and Hezaza for first place. BeatriceChanel came out on top because of a mistake on Hezaza's end. Hezaza bet 2 instead of 22 and cost her the win! Good Luck everyone!

Apparantely IceDT is not reading the thread, just posting ....
135  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Dragon's Tale: 3+ BTC of Freerolls prizes this month on: August 25, 2016, 08:56:57 PM
Late to seen those contest and i think many contest are release in this month.. and many people are alive again back in dragon tale..
I hope i can also get that freerolls and join in any contest in dragon tale..
I just notice that the game still not change the btm to mbtc.

The game is probably always going to call it BTMs, my point was that that doesn't exist outside of dragons tale, actually outside of dragon's tale it looks like the altcoin 'bitmarks'.  So people on this forum probably want to talk about mBTC because that's the universal designation.
136  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: August 25, 2016, 06:55:44 PM
Of course QS has a beef with the concept of DT and with moderators.  His public disgrace and shaming was something to behold, and I reread it from time to time, late in the night, for entertainment.

He had no such beef when he was on the DT list and when he was jockeying to become a moderator.  Back then DT was the only way to keep scammers out of here.  O the irony.

Of course the definition of "scammer" for Quickseller is different from the one the rest of us use.  His definition is basically "someone who publically disagrees with me".  Most of us use a definition which includes things like cheating people out of escrow money, etc.
137  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Dragon's Tale: 3+ BTC of Freerolls prizes this month on: August 25, 2016, 06:51:50 PM
Yo ICEDT, I'm an experience DT player so I know what a BTM is.  But, just FYI, outside of that world, you're talking about mBTC.  BTM may look like some sorta altcoin name to people here, so maybe call it mBTC since that's what it is.

Cheers
138  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Dragon's Tale: 3+ BTC of Freerolls prizes this month on: August 24, 2016, 05:43:29 PM
Just happened to find this now.  Why wasn't this announced in the normal Dragon's tale thread that we're all subscribed to?
139  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace trust on: August 24, 2016, 05:28:04 PM
Not that I am trying to boost my trust or anything; but in a perfect world should I make a change that would show this rating to others?  I am not going to do this because I would like to wait until I get an honest review from someone everyone trusts, if that happens; I am just learning more how the system works.
You can't do anything. In order for a trust rating to be seen by default the user that left it must be added to the DefaultTrust network. This happens by someone on DT1 adding this user to their trust list, therefore putting them in DT2.
If you were to do the same and add a user to your trust list, any trust ratings left by the user would be seen as default to you - no one else.

Don't try to force trust; it isn't seen kindly around here.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here, but isn't that exactly what he should do: add the user he trusts to his trust network so that that user's ratings are seen as trusted?  The default trust settings are only supposed to be there as a placeholder until you actually have someone you trust or don't trust.

Quickseller has been laying low recently, after his extortion attempt of DT members.  I'm sure his alts will be by to boost his position.   Undecided

Is there a link?  I think I missed that one.  Can't say the report surprises me.
