I hjave been looking for about 2 hours for the answer to this question but can not find it.  I see my trust as green but when I was showing a buddy how to set up an account on the forum the other day, I showed him me and I was seen as black to him.  Please explain how that works.  I really do not care, I am just curious.  Thank you in advance.

Thats because the way you did setup your trustlist.

More specifically, you have someone on your trust list who gave you positive feedback and that person is not on your buddy's list.  Only feedback from people on your list shows up by "default" and influences the color you see in the marketplace sections.

Additional I can say, that even you not modified your list, you already have  over 210 person on your list by default(DT1+DT2),
which are "hidden" under user "DefaultTrust".

Not that I am trying to boost my trust or anything; but in a perfect world should I make a change that would show this rating to others?  I am not going to do this because I would like to wait until I get an honest review from someone everyone trusts, if that happens; I am just learning more how the system works.

you are just accuse for Loans for trust building and openly asks for it. and that is a mistake in building a trust here in the forum. it is gain by doing kindness acts here without expecting a trust feedback to other user.
and i think it is not important for just lending in a loan business. Just wait to other user to give you the trust and always keep good service.

You can't do anything. In order for a trust rating to be seen by default the user that left it must be added to the DefaultTrust network. This happens by someone on DT1 adding this user to their trust list, therefore putting them in DT2.
If you were to do the same and add a user to your trust list, any trust ratings left by the user would be seen as default to you - no one else.

Don't try to force trust; it isn't seen kindly around here.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here, but isn't that exactly what he should do: add the user he trusts to his trust network so that that user's ratings are seen as trusted?  The default trust settings are only supposed to be there as a placeholder until you actually have someone you trust or don't trust.

If he specifically trusts someone and would like to add them to his network, of course. I'm not trying to discourage him from adding people to his trust list or altering his trust network.
From his question, I assumed he was talking about making other users' trust ratings show by default, which is not possible if he is not a member of DT1.

I think trust trading to get on DT is getting out of hand now.

We got a lot of people with green trust who literally did a 20$ trade once.

I would just need like 100-200$ to get +10-100 green.

Scammers have it quite easy nowadays.

You're going to get banned for spamming if you keep bumping topics with this vendetta against dts and the trust system.  That's my prediction.   Reminds me of fwdxlsh and codishmumu.  They were insane spammers who just liked to rile up the community.

a user warned me that i was tagged by a you(i didn't even notice), not that it matter since your trust count nothing, but i hate trust abuse like this

don't worry too much about me , i  have just now started to dig up for name callers abusers etc in this topic.

i have made a backup of what topics i posted and where and what i posted , also i have a tor browser , if something bad happens.

i will help cleanup bitcointalk i promise also i will clear my name.

Certain IP's are tagged with something called unit of evil (tor/vpn) and when registering from this ip's you have to pay a certain amount of btc.

criptix this might not happen if i use tor browser it will produce a new set of ips everytime you login .

each tor comes with a different ip settings . tor aupport provide new ips if you run out of ips.

for now the trust thing dosen't seem to matter ,
