121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Music NFTs Platform may be hyped next? on: November 07, 2021, 02:06:37 AM
maybe, spotify a platform where this music platform has collaborated with FB to register an account,
it is possible that this platform can use NFT next time

Huge platform, but a bad idea in my opinion, how does that work though for both end-users and artists? I mean, we're already subscribed to premium and the benefits are already what we need, peer-to-peer transfer of music you say? I don't think that's a neat feature, aside from everything, being decentralized is what looks promising here, and also the payout for small or big artists, the question is how will this be sustainable for everyone?
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money while gaming on: November 07, 2021, 02:00:47 AM
Ubisoft stepping in to the NFT world I see, I've seen a lot of P2E games and I haven't found anything successful yet, MIR4 on the other hand shows a lot of potential if it wasn't for the stinky bots overpopulating the world, I'm looking forward for Ubisoft to develop an MMORPG that is actually consistent and successful, for now, MIR4 looks like the most decent P2E game out there, correct me if I'm wrong or if I missed out a better game than MIR4.

For those who are interested, it's on steam, I'll just drop the link here.

Who you got on Jazz vs Miami? I can't seem to find an update if Mitchell or Lowry will play for their respective teams. The Heat looks to have the advantage offensively if both players mentioned won't play but Clarkson seems to have gotten out of his slump lately and will be shooting a lot.

A great duel between the sixth mans, Herro and Clarkson, if both players actually pop off then it's going to be very interesting, if Donovan Mitchell doesn't play, the Jazz still has a huge chance on beating Heat, Lowry not playing isn't a big problem since Adebayo and the others can still deliver without Lowry doing the playmaking duties, what I'm scared of here is Jazz's 3pt shooting, if the Heat cannot stop them from draining 3's then it will be a huge problem.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 06, 2021, 11:52:50 PM
Unfortunately, not only rich people but now many people coming from many elements are also playing gambling because of this pandemic. It is not only about the wealth that we have, but the condition that may lead or drive us to gamble.  Grin

That makes sense.

There's a thread here before wherein it states that some casinos are established in deprived areas as there are more potential gamblers there compared to urban and established areas. It just states that no matter what's the life status, financial status, capability status, pandemic or not, people will find and make way to do gambling.

I agree, it has been a norm wherein people actually think that only rich people can do gambling because the others are already facing poverty and other problems, but, ever since the pandemic began, gambling has intensified over deprived areas, I just don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing as it may lead to addiction, we all know how strong gambling is.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: November 06, 2021, 11:43:14 PM
What do you think, if bitcoin is legalized in your country, the country will be improved or will be damaged?
Bitcoin must work for the good of a country. which country will think more about bitcoin that country will be ahead in the world economy.

I don't think Bitcoin alone will make a country ahead in the world economy, of course there are factors that must be considered, El Salvador is a good example, they think more about Bitcoin more than any other country, comitted to Bitcoin and making it as their legal tender, yet they are still behind economy-wise, legalizing Bitcoin and thinking more doesn't actually make a country ahead, but I agree that Bitcoin can help one's economy improve, regardless if it's a first-class or third-class country.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Key words (short sentence) to explain BTC on: November 06, 2021, 11:29:30 PM
Words that are encouraging, words that will actually make them interested and curious about Bitcoin, I think 5 words are actually enough for someone to at least learn about Bitcoin, 5 words ain't enough for someone to invest on Bitcoin though, it may need a further discussion about how profitable Bitcoin will be, that is unless someone can actually give us 5 convincing keywords for someone to instantly invest on Bitcoin.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin can help Local Communities on: November 06, 2021, 11:19:24 PM
I think in general, people who have started crypto around their local communities are actually growing, not only for those who have started but for those who have been influenced as well, and I can assume that not only Bitcoin but crypto generally has helped a lot of people overcome or get out of poverty, I have a friend who was able to even buy a car just by trading and hodling, investing on worthy projects, and after that, he influenced a lot of his friends to invest on Bitcoin as well, Bitcoin does help local communities.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I Missed Out of a 10 Year Bitcoin Investment Plan on: November 06, 2021, 11:15:28 PM
Honestly, his approach was bad, speculating about how Bitcoin will reach from $1 to $100,000 in 10 years, that's just a bad approach, he could've at least tried to explain how Bitcoin is and how big it's going to be because of how technology evolves, making people want to invest online instead of investing in banks. And that really is a missed opportunity, even I would have deep regrets and up until now I do, I could have bought a lot with the profit I'll gain for investing long-term.

129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency must adapt in schools/colleges curriculum on: November 05, 2021, 07:15:46 PM
That's nice, but since these students are still learning, I don't think that these institutes are actually encouraging students to learn how to trade or do such activities at an early age but rather educating them early so that they have decent knowledge about crypto and how it works, then probably study a brief history on how even Bitcoin and cryptocurrency started from the bottom.

About being hacked, I think it's important for students to study about how to avoid getting hacked, learning the different attacks of hackers through the internet, it's mandatory for schools to teach that as technology and social media continues to rise, hackers will never stop, so this is an actual way on educating the students on how to take care of their accounts better.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the fastest way to grow wealth in our present world of digital currency? on: November 05, 2021, 06:36:09 PM
Almost everyone who gained profit from Bitcoin definitely will advice the youngsters to invest as early as now, and as a person whom also gained profit from my time of investing, I strongly agree, I agree that this is the fastest way to actually grow your wealth, investing in such projects right now like NFT and DeFi will give you a short-term gain, since we all know that NFT may not last long and considered as a hype, so it's best to invest on it while the hype is still there.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: November 04, 2021, 02:32:15 PM
Let me guess, you also lived in the South-Eastern part of Asia right @Finestream? If yes, we're the in the same region or even same country. I also used to play Dota1 til Dota2 and Counter-Strike too during my high school to college days with my mates and gamble with our money for a battle of raise to 3 if such bets are too big because it's a 5v5 game. Such days are so good and fun to remember! Now, I'm just only watching it in e-sports or youtube about their annual international tournaments because I have no time anymore due to work commitments.

Let me guess, both of y'all live in the country I live in, Dota was the OG game, we talk trash, place bets, those good old days were one of the best memories we'll forever live on, today, we have responsibilities and it keeps adding up as we grow, not to add any more drama but it is what it is, at least we can still watch our favorite pros play the game on our free time.   Grin
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 04, 2021, 08:16:02 AM
Look at the warriors, they keep rolling with another big win against Charlotte.

I watched the game and was thinking that Charlotte could pull an upset as they get close in the 4th quarter, but too unfortunate for them as that was a short-lived chance because the warriors did not allow them, and the warriors made a big run to finish the game.

Jordan Poole made 31 points, I think that was spectacular, it's not all about Curry alone, this Warriors players are trusting each other, even the young guns are contributing. Warriors are now 6-1 tied with Utah Jazz who is at the number 1 spot.

JP3 already had the potential, he just really needed to improve his decision making, I actually like how Curry and Draymond are to the young guys, not putting any pressure and hyping them up, I like how Curry doesn't use his accolades as something to put pressure on his teammates, JP3 could potentially be the next all-star for GSW, let's not forget the high school star rookies, Moody and Kuminga.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 02, 2021, 11:06:43 PM
Brownlee is my favorite import in the NBA, so this next conference, I will be putting my bet on the Ginebra San Miguel. I also hope that all the starters are healthy once again especially Thompson who is really good help on the defense of the team, he can limit Mikey Williams for sure.

Per news article, Justine Brownlee is available to play as an import in our country, good thing that he didn't play or offered a more lucrative offer in Japan B-league. With his charisma and athleticism, I think there he could unite the disgruntled Ginebra Kings  Grin.

If Christian Standhardinger is still with Ginebra by the start of the second conference, i think the Gins Kings are a little bit stronger because they could execute the run and gun system as the first five will be all athletic.

I just hope though that this next conference will not be a bubble and the crowd will already be allowed to watch live and covid cases continues to declined.

Bubble games recently are actually lifeless to watch, I mean the players are performing well and definitely pumped up to see my favorite players play again after a short while, but having the crowd inside is much more intense, good to see Justin Brownlee playing again and not going to Japan B-League, I saw Japan B-League's games and it wasn't that entertaining in my opinion.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Ban and the mining exodus on: November 02, 2021, 11:01:53 PM
The China crypto ban isn't that bad after all, after all, China is a power hungry country so I'm assuming that the ban really gave oit not only Kazakhstan but other countries to dominate in the mining industry, we all know how powerful China is but we have other countries to provide the mining for us, so there's really not much of a problem about the China crypto ban.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Verified Information - Missed Opportunities on: November 02, 2021, 10:58:01 PM
Can't blame him if he had trust issues over Bitcoin, not anyone's gutsy enough to hold a huge amount and not expect profit, he was probably expecting a huge bullish movement back then but was too impatient, definitely a missed opportunity for him as he could have been a millionaire by now, but FOMO get in the way and he decided to invest in altcoins, it's definitely a decision he'll be regretting forever.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No, China is not planning on unbanning bitcoin mining on: November 02, 2021, 10:51:45 PM
I knew it, it was either bbc.reporter was trolling or baiting the hell out of those spammers, I checked the link for authenticity prior to the topic but I wasn't able to find the fact that China is actually planning to unban Bitcoin, I didn't voice it out though, I just went against the topic and tried to convince everyone that it is quite unlikely for China's government to unban Bitcoin regardless of how beneficial it may be for their citizens. Good job, OP.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining vs Holding on: November 02, 2021, 10:42:50 PM
You deserve at least a recognition, I can't imagine myself developing a program intended for comparing mining vs. hodling, worst case is definitely mining and then investing it right away, hodling alone is really practical, but mining and hodling is definitely the best solution.

I thought that OP was going to actually compare mining between hodling but I like the effort of actually coding a program wherein it picks which option is the best and I agree, hodling while mining may be the best case amongst the other options, hodling alone is actually better but if you try trading or even investing while you hodl, better income definitely.

Did anyone also just watch Celtics blow a 12 point lead at the beginning of the 4th and lose the match by 14 points at the of the quarter, fr Huh!

It's the second game in a row they're doing this, the blew a 9 point lead woefully just a couple of days ago at, that's with a few 2 minutes plus change minute at OT. Damn, I can't kind the right words, "" would have been a befitting costume, If that's what they all dressed up for hallowing as

The comeback by the Chicago Bull to keep their number 1 spot is amazing where they able to beat the Boston Celtics with awesome runs in the 4th quarter where they were behind by 19 points.

You can't really close your eyes with this team or else you will end like the Boston Celtics.

I told y'all the Bulls is gonna have a strong start judging on how the preseason went for them, DeMar DeBuckets is definitely gonna love the chemistry, the difference between the Lakers and the Bulls is that these players are young and willing to pass the ball, DeRozan is already at his 30's but he's willing to pass the ball or take over if LaVine isn't at his game, just like what we witnessed against the Celtics, this Bulls team is definitely a playoff-contender, heck if they stay this consistent they may even be a finals contender, this season is going to be fun and entertaining.

LeBron tweeting that he's looking forward to playing the Rockets again tomorrow night.  Sort of strange for him to tweet about looking forward to a regular season game.  Especially one against what is very possibly the worst team in the league.  That makes me think he's got a little something planned.  There would be no better team to try and put up a monster game or maybe pull of some sort of shenanigans with Melo.  That or maybe he's just excited that everyone is talking about his reverse dunk from the other night so he's anxious to get out there and do something better.  We'll see...  I may have to throw a couple bucks on the Lakers just because.

One possible reason could be that the Rockets are filled with young players, last game was possibly one of the worst for the Rockets, what could you expect on this team besides KPJ, Wood and Jalen. LeBron definitely tweeted that because he's probably looking forward to teach the young guys, even last season LBJ told Marc Gasol to actually guard Wood saying that they need to hold him down, not a fan of the Rockets but I'm also looking forward to this game.

139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: November 02, 2021, 07:15:21 AM
Really? well I think it also depends on the area, I was able to convince my parents right away, one factor is how your approach is, instead of persuading them, why not convince them and show them how valuable it is, show them a graph or chart, even if they're middle-aged citizens, I assume they can be persuaded through factual information.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins survive 5 years? on: November 01, 2021, 10:06:27 PM
I have all of these coins:

ETH 40%
CARDANO 20%
POKALDOT 20%
TERRA LUNA 5%
THETA 15%
Avax: 10%

Are my coins going to last is it likely?

Safe to say that ETH is going to survive just because of how it's established and solidified its name, and since you invested more on Ethereum than the other coins, you'll definitely gain profit from it in the next 5 years, Cardano does seem promising, but I can't tell if the other coins will last for 5 years, some coins die easily.
