And now we have a nice trolling in our Bitcointalk thread. You guys know no project can succeed in the crypto space without trolling right?

This project is getting better every day  Wink

Indeed  Grin Like the old Dogecoin

 Cheesy Cheesy

I miss the good old 2014 days.

Remember, we have validation soon!!

I have some questions:

1.- Why are you not using your main account for this accusation? Creating a new account for this is fishy, sorry.
2.- What do you suggest is the purpose of Andrew for such behaviour? They want more users to the network. Maybe this was only an stupid mistake?

Sorry but this accusation is a total nonsense to me....

Hi there.  Can someone give me an invitation code?

Sure. Check the PMs
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That's my 2020 portfolio, what are you opinions? on: January 30, 2020, 09:31:43 PM
DAOs are the most interesting type of crypto organizations IMO. I suggest you to investigate the concept.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decentralized_autonomous_organization

Decred or DASH are good examples of DAOs.

ETH is not a DAO but is an excellent project

(btw Litecoin is garbage IMO)

In Russia, television began to say that Bitcoin is worth nothing, its price is zero.
Obviously, someone wants to buy cheap.
The last weak hands are thrown out of the market

Mining is also an speculative endeavour. You don't mine what is profitable now, You mine what you think will worth more in the future.

I understand your concerns, but DASH are way more advanced than any other project in the crypto space. Fundamentals are rock solid.

Its a good way to prevent sybil attacks and let the network grow slowly. Senior participants have only 1 invite per round, and some of the invites you give are not validated. So we are growing super slowly.
Overall the system is quite nice. And is something new! i'm so bored of the same ideas again and again in the crypto - altcoin space.

 https://scan.idena.io/identity?identity=0xcbb98843270812eeCE07BFb82d26b4881a33aA91
In fact there is one person who invites more than 1 person per validation. Only during this epoch he received reward for 12 successful invitations.

Don't you think that 36 million coins from premint is enough? Could dev team let this network grow organic? 12k coins out of 41 472 (51 840 * 5 * 0,16) that was intended for rewards for successful invitations. That's 30% for dev member who give invitation code for everyone who ask on telegram. He does not even care to who he throws them because he has no limits. I have to examine every person to make sure he will not waste my invitation because i have only 1. If you think that network will grow too slow than give us 2 invitations per epoch instead of letting one person grab 30% of rewards.

- The premine is awful, i agree with that. I expect a fork / clone of Idena soon enough because of that.

- the rhythm of growing is slow, but is flowing steadily. I have no problem with that (I am 7 epoch old, and I can invite every epoch). Invites will be valuable soon.

So this basically requires a KYC in order to mine?

No, no KYC. Yo need to prove that you are human by doing something an AI can't do. That's all.

That's the beauty of it.

That and an invitation from someone already in the network. This is a good concept.  Cool

Bueno, parece que las cuentas falsas que se han apuntado se han cargado el airdrop:

https://keybase.io/a/i/r/d/r/o/p/spacedrop2019

The Big Stellar Space Drop
UPDATE #5 December 10, 2019: This month will be our last of the Stellar Space Drop.

On the week starting Dec. 15, we will distribute the final 100 million Lumens among all qualifying members. The total giveaway amount will have been 300 million Lumens (approximately $16,000,000 USD).

While this giveaway mostly worked, it's clear that there will be decreasing returns and massively increased effort required. Why? Starting in the last week or so, hordes of fake people were beginning to come in, far beyond the capacity of Keybase or SDF to filter. It's not in the Stellar network's interest to reward those people; it is also not in Keybase's interest to have them as Keybase users.

As we've said from the beginning, SDF reserves the right to end this giveaway early. The last month will go out, of course. If you are a legit, registered user, expect your share of 100 million Lumens next week.

Everyone else: registrations are now closed.

Thanks everyone!

En fin,

I feel this was Ryan's best presentations.

I agree, I like his non-thecnical but economic and social approach. He is thinking long term vision, like he should. The problem of most crypto projects is that they are lead by developers. I like we are not. Developers just "code" the project. We need the long term vision, and this includes economic, game theory,  sociological, etc. aproach.

For me PoW system is the elephant in the room. I talked in the Zurich meetup in september with some members about that.

PoW it's a great idea and it works,  but we can do it better.  We don't need this kind of energy consumption to secure the network. We can do it in a more efficient way. PoW is like killing mosquitoes with napalm. It works fine, yeah.

There is a green revolution outside, and we cannot be left outside. Ethereum is swiftying to PoS and all the major altcoin will do the same.  With chainlocks we did half the way of the change.

Now after listening Ryan speech I am even more convinced of that. The wasteful of PoW are even more toxic than I thought.

I will continue my support for DCG also.

me too.

I counted at best 235 people online. 235! when there are almost 5000 master nodes.
The only thing that explains this is that these nodes are in very few hands. Any holder, holder of one or more nodes would do the impossible to listen to the live talk.

Relax dude, people live in different timezones. The world is not the US (only). The conference is here to watch:

Os explico que he cobrado yo...

El 11 de septiembre recibí 356,29 XLM
El 16 de Noviembre recibí 688,4 XLM

Y ahí sigo. Que te regalen dinero por nada está muy bien
