Hey, there.
Is dash.org down? Or is it only for me?
Thanks
It is down here too. There are some server issues at the moment, MooCowMoo is working on it. I'm fighting with incompetence at the moment. Took them 4.5 hours to get back to me with this: Hello, Seems the VPS was not migrated to our new servers. We are checking this for you. Expect a few (hopefully less) more hours... I'm in the same boat. I have the same issues in my work take your time

OK thanks. Why didn't they just restart it ?
I mean i don't have a problem with the early adopter bonus and the guys who are behind it getting a fair share, but this basically is the same like premine ?
Yes that was unfortunate. And we had been harassed like hell because of that. I can understand some people think this is a motive enough to stay away from DASH. Thats a valid option. However, - As some fellow members said, we as a community decided not to restart the coin. - The first weeks the coin was widely distributed, because Darkcoin was a shitcoin with no value at all! (I still have some logs of the exchanges at that time, geez, I wish I bought moar....) There were no masternodes, no Darksend, no instantX, no governace, nothing. Only a talented and hard-working dev The actual value of this coin is because the formidable work the devs and the entire community did since then. For me this enormous amount of development and good work overcome any mistake we did in the past. Thats my choice.

Congratulations DASH team for the good work done this past months. This rise in value is because of certain individuals (we all know the names) coding, promoting, testing, negotiating, doing great debates in the DASH forums... and selling soda of course Enjoy our sucess. This is just the beggining

Quedaros con las conclusiones (la negrita es mia): ConclusionSARCoin doesn’t appear to be active outside of Pool Miners, so I’m unsure why someone would pay thousands of dollars for shares in a SARCoin mining pool. It seems to me the SARCoin mining component of Pool Miners is hopelessly speculative, with the MLM opportunity instead what is actually being marketed. The MLM component of Pool Miners is pure pyramid scheme.Nothing is marketed to or sold to retail customers, with affiliates providing 100% of revenue paid out as commissions. The commissions themselves are all tied to recruitment of new affiliates who invest in packages, making Pool Miners a pyramid scheme. Broadly speaking, Pool Miners seems to be an incognito reboot of the idea behind Global Currency Reserve. Create a publicly traded near-worthless cryptocurrency, charge people thousands of dollars (EUR in this case) to participate in a mining pool and hope for the best. With interest in the coin limited to the attached business opportunity, the value of SAR Coin is not surprising. If you want to see how Pool Miners will play out, look no further than the respective collapses of Global Coin Reserve and Global Currency Reserve.

Si no tienes electricidad barata olvidalo.

Sure, iCEBREAKER goes off on things, but he's no worse than Spoetnik.
Sorry, but no. Spoetnik is an institution, Icetroller is a no-life monero fascist. Please.

Dash kinda functions in a similar manner. If you look at the Dash userbase - that is to say those Dash users that have not deserted - it is only really the very stupid that remain.
Thus, it functions as a kind of of Hornet's Nest operation - a "Dash trap" ensuring that only the very stupid users are waving the flag, bringing new stupid users in, and consequently allowing for an environment where the userbase are prisoners of their own stupidity. The effect of their stupidity ensures that they are unable to discern the qualifications of a good/bad project, thus keeping them all trapped together in perpetuity.
This kind of sense of superiority and condescension towards (all) other alt communities. This is what makes Monero as a community so despicable.
