Ya se han abierto las votaciones para el nuevo logo: Instructions to vote for your favorite Dash logo
A lot of people were asking for us to include the one that Pille designed and posted to bitcointalk a few days ago, so we have included it in the vote also.
1. Go to https://www.darkcoinfoundation.org
2. Click 'My Account' and introduce your username or email and password (if you don't remember you can reset it)
3. Once you are logged in, click on a new page you will see on the top menu called 'Vote Logo'
4. Cast your vote. You can select your two preferred logos or just one, but in that case that one won't count double
Those who are not members of the foundation, but are part of the team, or have more than 300 messages at darkcointalk, please email fernando@darkcoin.io, and we will create an account for you so you can vote.

Te comparto un par de medidas de seguridad adicionales que puedes seguir por si acaso algún día se te cuela malware en el PC estar preparado:
- Poner en marcha el 2 Factor authentication en tus cuentas de correo, en los exchanges, carteras online, etc. (si tienes BTC o alguna alt esto es imprescindible). Si no sabes que es búscalo en google que hay mil guías, es muy sencillo de implementar.
- Mantener las carteras de monedas en un ordenador secundario donde no abres el correo ni descargas nada (un viejo portátil puede servir)
- Por supuesto poner contraseñas (muy largas) a las carteras y hacer copias de seguridad periódicas a los wallet.dat

Please, monero "evangelist" guys, this is embarrasing (and I do think monero is a good project, following it for a long time) Please don't come here to fud us with all kind of idiotic paranoia. You don't help or promote your project with that. We dont FUD you at all! Be respectful with other people and other thinking, you know what is that? I really want you as a community work hard to achieve your goals, then the market will decide. Fudding is not good for your coin or the alt community. I repeat, this is embarrasing. Everyone who asks a probing question or disagrees with something about this project is not FUDing or trolling, nor is skepticism the same as evangelism. That defense is played out by now. If you want to hear from nothing but cheerleaders darkcointalk is thataway Please, you are insulting the inteligence to all our readers here. The constants attacks and fudin is not "questions" or "disagreements". This is like a chat room of people saying the same all the time. We have the same conversation all over and over again with the same topics and the same answers. You are just trying to destroy the normal communication between people. You are angry because we, and the market, and everyone think Dark/Dash is a great project. And we don't care about your "instramine", centralized, etc. FUD Monero is a good project, work hard for it and with the best thecnology and features you can beat us in the markets. Sorry, but you Monero guys with this attitude you look like a bunch of losers. And nobody cares about losers. Let me quote the only reasonable monero guy around here: One other quick point.
Trolling is not ALL bad. It is not a black and white thing. Aside from galvanizing a community it can also be a playful result of healthy competition. DRK and XMR are most certainly competitors for a theoretical market share. In the end one will most likely surpass the other. A little punch and jab now and then isn't bad for either.
This thread is suffering an amazingly low signal/noise due to trolling though. Too much IMO. And though I do not represent Monero in any way, and I am in no way saying Monero's community is to blame for it, I am sorry this is happening here.
We are very luky we have darkcointalk.org, with more than 2598 people in it, and more than 45,300 messages. |

Can't believe that you guys still feed the trolls. For weeks now ... This is getting so annoying, especially when you quote them all the time. IGNORE, DISCUSS USEFUL TOPICS, is it that difficult? DAMN.
Maybe we don't realize but i guess we have a lot of people lurking here. Is important to show our points of view always, even with the dumbest of the trolls. All alt.crypto are talking about us, and tons of envy floating the air. Noone is trolling LTC, Monero or Masternode Mastercoin threads. We are doing something very well. |

I've spent the last few days significantly reducing my position in DRK due to this statement by Evan:  As any of you in the USA smart enough to follow financial laws know, the IRS and SEC have made some rather interesting rulings regarding cryptocurrency. While I am no attorney (but make the habit of occasionally talking to one) I suspect there is going to be some... "Drama" I have been making posts about the important need for, "Business Acumen" in the Darkcoin ranks. Before I buy back into Darkcoin in size, I now have the requirement that a very well-seasoned business executive that a venture capitalist would love be brought onto the Darkcoin in Darkcoin's future. team to make and handle business decisions. Note, this kind of person is going to likely require a large, vesting offering of Darkcoin for the trouble. You are making this "drama" up from your ass  Please, go back to your farm I wish that was true. I SUSPECT that whoever owns 50.000000001% of Dashcoin is going to own the Dash financial trademark. But even then, it could be an ugly fight. Or maybe not. It's going to be interesting! Or maybe not. Heh. + 184.46 billion dashcoins I think it has to do with who has control over the github repository. And to be more precise, I think all that does is say we've had the project before the first application for a trademark, therefor we can contend the trademark. That's it, that's it's only reason for being acquired. So we can protect our use of the name. The owners of dashcoin continue to own their dashcoin which is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Which means, btw, that if the last sale of a coin was 3 months ago for 0.00000001, and that causes the marketcap to read $3000 or something, it doesn't mean it really is worth $3000, just that that was the last sales price/marketcap that could be registered. I bolded why your argument doesn't work for Darkcoin. I and other Dashcoin holders are the owners of Dashcoin. I propose that Darkcoin pay $1,000,000 in marketcap to Dashcoin holders to do a proper takeover. If 50.1% agree, THEN you have legal precedent. Until then, in my opinion, Darkcoin has no legal standing. This is the worst attempt to promote a coin in this thread IMHO  My next question is:
Evan has shown that he is willing to pay a developer to no longer take part in their coin instead of doing a proper takeover of the coin.
What other coins has Darkcoin done this or other questionable actions to? For example, was Darkcoin involved in the Spreadcoin dev's disappearance? Did Mr. Spread have a nice payday from Darkcoin mere days before a competing (and arguably superior) masternode system was set to go live on mainnet?
You did a bad investment, and it's your fault. Just deal with it like grown ups do. You are making a fool of yourself here |

Someone please change the title of the thread to "The Troll Barbecue Thread". It is much more appropriate after all. Derailing ? Seriously? He did say... derailing right?
Gave you far more than enough chances to prove you had actual legitimate concerns. Welcome to the troll barbecue thread.
This thread was a civilized place to talk long time ago (you can start reading the first 500 pages) then we achieved major goals,and the price and the trolls came. We had one devoted sociopath trolling our thread for months just to lower the price to get a masternode (true story). Please, dont try to teach how we deal with our pet trolls. They will not destroy this thread. The envy is a very bad heart disease. Reminder: For a real conversation about DRK/DASH please use darkcointalk.org. This is troll hunting zone for now |

desde que nos fuimos a los 0.01 hemos subido bastante bien, la gente ya no se pega tanto por el nombre cuando el precio acompaña, si bien ya es bastante beneficio para los que compraron a ese precio, posible corrección antes de seguir la marcha? veremos.
