This works, but as others stated above hashrate of my rx480 -600mh- shown as only 100mh here.
I think we are all seeing lower hashrates by factor of 6... Right when I started mining the hashrate showed once > 1800mh for me.. then stable at my mining rate/6 I think it has to do with difficulty set by nanopool.. Just the reporting is wrong. If we think of coins collected.. that rate seems alright to me. 2 coins in last hour = 48 coins / day = 100 coin ~ block a day of solo mining with my 12 RX480s .. Sounds alright. UPDATE: The rates are showing correct now .. For me it works without the -64

Hello, On nanopool, what do you enter as an adress : the account number like 182410-30 or only 182410 ? I would choose the first but it seems only the second work...

40 GPUs here for 12 hours with no luck . Wallet says that hashrate is only 1.5 Tera , considering that i am pulling 20 Giga , i should find something in 12 hours , or the wallet is reporting wrong hashrate .
The wallet is correct. It seems there is a bug with the miner 0.2, especially with many gpu.

Don't use PascalMiner 0.2 !!!!!! With the ProxyMiner v1, would I have to open 28 instances of the miner for my 28 GPUs? Yes!

Better displaying of informations, better compatibility, better performance (from 750 to 925 on fury-x).

Hi guys need help i've installed yesterday the wallet .i've start the miner on the miner porgram says 1 block found but my balamce is 0 what i did wrong ?
Thx in advance for help
check the ticker box with something like: "show all accounts with private keys beloging to this wallet": you will see you have 5 accounts belonging to you with 100 psc on one of them.

Well I earned nothing in 24h mining pasc just 2 blocks that have been not transferred to my wallet
1 block is $66 So you made $132 yesterday with 2 blocks. How many cards? Well I wrote..the blocks are gone somewhere but not to my wallet. are you sure? the wallet say block found = 2? Yes. I had my Pascal Wallet created already 4 month ago or so. I mined on that one. I found one block on CPU where th eminer said then some double something thing and the Cuda miner 1.03 found two but somehow later they didn't appeared. A friend found 9 blocks according to the OpenCL miner and he just got 3 paid..the rest are gone also somewhere the dev is not responding about this strange thing. So I stopped mining pascal coin since it seems something strange happening. dunno don't want to hassle much and prefer steady income over maybe or maybe not like pascal. Edit: Using now different compiled verson of the CUDA Pascal miner and getting on GTx1080 around 1000MH/s on my Zotacs and 865MH/s on Asus Strix and 765MH on Zotac GTX1070 Mini. You may use the function : operation from multi account to move the coins from the various accounts of yours to one account. Regards

I have it run for 24h and nothing..and the hash according to this stupid miner still not vary much on the speeds I posted for each gpu. anyway i stop mining PASCAL coin since it has no proper nv miner yet.
average time for 1500MH is 2 days already, now add to this the solo varaince and you go as high as 1 week without trouble going solo now is a gamble and i agree the miner is shitty that's why i asked for an improved version, i hope sp can do something As I said in another thread: AMD current card should remain better in pascalcoin pow algo than nvidia ones: there is some int operation in the pow algo that can be done in one cycle on amd against two for nvidia, like bitcoin pow. Vorksholk who is used to both architecture explains this in the following post. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1583719.msg16621234#msg16621234

Any nvidia miners with 1070, 970, 750 Ti cards? If so, what hashrates you guys are getting and with what miner?
the cuda miner give me only 250MH per gpu(but some times i see 500...) the intensity is useless, and all the version of the miner perform around the same is this even compiled in cuda 8.0? amd report 500MH per card or more, a 1070 should do 1000 at least amd current card should remain better for pasc mining than nvidia ones: there is some int operation in the pow algo that can be done in one cycle on amd against two for nvidia, like bitcoin pow. Vorksholk who is used to both architecture explains this in the following post. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1583719.msg16621234#msg16621234

Well yeah, modding AMD cards is a breeze really. Hence when I hear people say "nVidia performs same as AMD with less wattage", I always wonder if they are saying this at default stock settings. But once you optimize an AMD card, my guess is it performs about as well as an nvidia in terms of wattage no?
Depends on the hash algo. There is no definite answer. It depends also on you electricity cost and the card price in you country/provider. On zcash nvidia is now better. Nvidia is better on spreadcoin, nexus, lbry, neoscrypt... On xmr, amd is better ... On pascalcoin amd is far better...

I have been thinking about getting some 1060s instead of RX470s, same price point.
Can you mod nVidias as "easily" as the AMD nowadays? Like can you drastically reduce wattage on a 1060? I know my 470s (4Gb) draw about 70-75W while mining ZEC/XMR.
Bios modding is "relatively" easy on AMD: since most AMD cards have dual bios, and some bios editors exists (but most complicated tweaks like timings on memory requires hex editing). On the other hand, very few people try to hack nvidia bios (fewer tools, only some cards have dual bios...). AMD card are better on some algos, nvidia on others. For now, amd lacks high end video card on the new fab process size.

I would like to see XMR come into the picture as a profitable coin for the Nvidia cards. Just having ZEC really makes this a hard sell for me to buy some 1070's. I have a rig I need to retrofit with some updated cards and I am considering the 1070's for this rig.
I would like to add some diversity to my rigs to give me options if things start to go bad for the AMD cards the Nvidia cards may be able to help stablize the cash flow, and vice versa. Having different cards with different strengths could be a real bonus. So I was hoping there was some activity to improve the hashing on some other coins to help make the sale that I should add the 1070's into the mix. It is a hard sale when the cost is so high for these cards. So I am just looking for some more bright spots for the 1070 to help make the case for spending the extra money.
nvidia are good on other algo, like monero, lbry, lbry currently rised a bit and it's again with good profit better than ethereum for nvidia Till now GTX 1070/1080 are disappointing for monero (around 600-700 h/s) against 850-880 for nano or fury-x. This could change if sp release the somewhat promised new cryptonight miner with 900h/s for a GTX 1070.

I tried mining on a pool but my balance goes backwards. it will go up then go back. I don't see anywhere where shares are being rejected, was wondering if this happens to anyone else.
the cpu pool send the mined nxs to the adress written in the command line of the miner. This should be the reason your balance decrease when the payout is done. Check your wallet.

No news either for the crypto SP mod, there is mention of "8. 0.05BTC Cryptonite sp-mod (+20%) (3 release)" in the OP, but i don't know if it's recent, if it's optimized for pascal cards, and what are the hashing numbers (+20% but over what ? what overclock, what watts, which program version). ...
Cryptonight(XMR...), not cryptonite which is different algo.

Distribution: - 20% will be for Vorksholk due it created first GPU miner and made it open source (and we need to congrats him for his previous job, of course) - 80% will be for GPU pool miner dev who creates an Open source GPU miner for pool mining. Bounty will be sent when at least one well known pool accepts PASC to mine and source code published on GitHub (If the pool wants to receive a bounty, the miner dev will need to give some of it's 80% part... negotiation miner dev vs pool dev is part of this bounty)
Currently donators are: - iscal -> 9999.0000 PASC - anorganix -> 295.4000 PASC Total: 10294.4000 PASC I also gave 0.03 btc to the btc donation adress.

Nvidia people are beating us. Almost 500 H/s with their overpriced 1070 and almost 600 H/s with the even more overpriced 1080.
I get 550 on 1060 3gb with 40 watt in the wall.. I suppose you are talking about your cryptonight miner in development and not about equihash?
|
|
|
most coins are more profitable then nicehash lol.....
Are you saying this as a buyer or as a seller Because if you are talking as a buyer, you are being dishonest, because you can't get hashing power cheaper anywhere else. If you are talking as a seller, you are also wrong, because NiceHash is a marketplace that will utilise your unused computing power and make maximum earnings with minimum time invested. So it is really a question how much you value your time investing into mining and trading what you've mined. Exactly: selecting the most profitable coin and managing miners and trading is time consuming. I will do this at times, but at others periods, I am too busy and fall back to nicehash for direct btc revenue for nvidia cards and monero for amd cards.

Hello I moded my bios of my rx 480 reference. Copy of timmings 1750 to 2000. and mounted memory to 2250. And I have 31+ mh. I have a rx 480 nitro. Of origin I have a hashrate of 24mh, When I copy the timmings 1750 to 2000, I have 28mh. But when I then mount the memory to 2250, I stay at 28mh. Even at 2300mhz, my hasrate does not move much, it remains at 28 mh. Max 28.4 mh I do not understand . Has anyone had this problem? Hello, When you overclock to >2000, you probably go to an other stepping: you need to copy the timing to other frequency steps above 2000 I did not quite understand what you meant my friend Usually amd timings are applied to a frequency range : the bios applied a set of timing for frequencies between x and x+250 for instance (I don't know the exact steps) and another for X+251 x+500 and so on. When you applied the 1750 timing to 2000, I suppose they are not applied for frequencies above 2001... I may be wrong of course

this is wrong how the amd 470 and 480 are beating the 1070 on zcash?
just look at the hashrate, the 1070 can do 380 sol at 100 watt against 200 sol at 90 watt for a 470
even if the 470 cost half of one 1070 it's still not better to go with amd, especially if you are going to have many rig where density matter a lot
also by the look how people consider cost/hash they always forget that 4 rig are always far better than 8 rig(if they both perform similar, 380 sol x 6 x 4 vs 200 sol x 6 x 8 ), because you save on computer components that do not mine so you save on cost/hash in the end
not to mention that you save on the consumption as well, 700 watt x 4 rig against 600 watt per 8 rig...no question nvidia is far better, amd is trash at the moment on zec
At this moment rx 470 is better than gtx 1070 if we talk about ROI. Power consume is the same. rx 470 (200$) in eth (29h/s) today give you 1,2usd/day. ROI in 5,5. GTX 1070 (400$) in zcash (380sol) today give you 1,8/day. ROI in 7,4 Less power exp of course. my point was about zcash, and there the amd gpu are not better in roi they are worse we all know that on etheruem nvidia is bad because of the bandwidth but etheruem will die soon, so who care There is also XMR for amd: around 750h/s for a RX 480 8 (870 for a fury x), with mem oc or bios mod. And we can't be sure whether zcash will remain interesting. For me I still prefer GTX 1070 for the reasons you talked about (I am selling R9 fury x bought one year ago to be replaced by GTX 1070), but the choice between both card is disputable. If sp released the xmr miner @900h/s and above for a GTX 1070, there will be an other win for nvidia.
