Hey all,
so I have my 16GB USB drive, I have the ISO image of ETHstickPRO, and I have successfully written the file and spooled up the software.
The problem is the partition is precisely the size of the OS (something like 6.7 GB of the 16GB), and thus I cannot really do anything within the OS. Won't even let me save changes to the pool and address.
I used Rufus to write the ISO image.
Is there anyone out there that can help me set a partition size that is larger than just the OS, so I have some disk space to work with?!
3 ETH to whoever gives me the best answer THAT WORKS!
thanks all!!
if you got the pro version and paid for it, why cant you message the guy who made it and ask him? paying someone 3 eth, which is MORE then the pro version costs, to do something that the owner of the iso can probably tell you how to do is kind of strange. http://omg-it.works/ethstick-pro-update-to-the-ethereum-mining-stick/altho looking at the how to order.. it seems he sets the pool when he sends the ISO.. im guessing you didnt buy it. First off, back the hell off with the accusations. My rep far surpasses your own, so check yourself. Secondly, Jacob does not offer support outside of the Linux eco system, hence why I am asking. I am a winblows user.

Is anyone else getting 0 valid ethereum shares submitted since about 5 hours ago? We've been mining around the clock for quite a long time with this miner when not rented. Since about 5 hours ago, 0 valid shares submitted on Dwarfpool. Is it a miner issue, or a pool issue?
I'm on Ethermine and submitting shares just fine. Can someone give me a good command line to connect to ethpool or ethermine? It seems to not work the same way as dwarfpool.

This is brutal. Where did our anchor with 12 PH go?

relatively new to DCR mining.....does the dual feature of this software lead to slower DCR speeds than just mining only DCR?

Reading the thoughts about rentals. I begin to think that maybe Kano should forbid rentals ?
interesting idea but not sure if he can do that on a technical level. I have about 30th in real gear pointed at the pool from: my house 1 ip from my friends office 2 ips from the solar array 3 ips you send me a pm with an email to contact. I contact the email and you tell me you want to rent the solar array for a month 25th at x dollars. you tell me point it to your account. I tell you kano banned rentals so if I point it to your account you will be caught. you say keep it where it is tell me what is in the btc address and in a month give me what it earns above that. How can anyone stop that? But stopping nicehash westhash rental maybe it can be done. I used to rent a coin or 2 a month from them. I don't anymore. I think a lot of people have cut back on renting which is why the pool is at 32 ph not 40 ph. Kano need to detect rental hash and clock its shares to get an idea of how lucky or unlucky it is. I obviously was speaking about banning nicehash/westhash (and any suspected risky rental service) and not about personnal rental such as your solar array example. I think we all, (as kano pool users) , would not loose anything if we were banning nicehash for precautionary principle. Worst case scenario : the loss of pool hashrate would maybe get us less block , but bigger rewards. Best case scenario : we avoid bad shares from renting and get a better ratio The only kano users that would be injured by this new rule are the pro-rentals, but I think they will accept it because there is a real risk that their rental be not profitabe even for them. Private rentals can still be a thing. Large mines for the most part do like renting their hashrate and getting a payment upfront even if it is less than what they could have earned mining themselves, it takes a little risk away from them and puts BTC into their wallets immediately. Now with private renting there would definitely be minimums, like hashrate and duration as a mine operator does not want to take that much time dividing out the equipment. The people who like getting 100TH+ for 24 hours or more will probably be fine, it's the renters that want to grab a few TH for a few hours that would be affected mostly. I will rent ya'all some private hash power!

Someone needs to explain to me the motivation for a block withholding attack. My understanding is the attacker gains nothing.....

Why is everyone so coy about stating what site is "bad" to rent from, and what sites are "good"?
Seems really childish.

Still have 3 of these if anyone is itching to get one.

Jezz the failure rate on these are high.
i bought a total of 5 units in different batches so far i had 1 unit die on me completely. cost me 150$ to ship back and took over a month to get back. 1 units had 1 board die 1 week after i got it. cost me 75$ to ship back and it''s going on almost 3 weeks since i shipped it. 1 month since i reported the problem to Bitmain. I still don't have it back now another board just died on me again today on a different unit. what is this crap. None of my units are OC'ed and they are running on finksy Psu's so it's not that the problem. maybe i'm just very unlucky but IMO the S7 are the worst generation ever for reliability. now i'm looking at another 75$ and 1 month again to get another replacement board.
Way to go Bitmain
Send it to Denver, it won't take a month to get back. I've been a week tops with shipping time. It`s still under warranty, and for warranty i must send it to China. i`m wondering if it might be better to pay for the repair and shipping to denver vs sending to china at High cost shipping + loosing it for a month Can anyone offer advise on repair cost in Denver .? That was my point. Your costs are almost the same and you save time. Denver it is thanks. p.s. do you have a link for them What is this denver repair you speak of? Can anyone offer details? I am looking for a reliable repair shop stateside.

I have several of these insane video cards available. Brand new, sealed in box.
Performance is out of this world, shreds both video games as well as any alt coin you desire.
Asking 1.65 BTC per, shipped to lower 48 US.
Would you consider 1.4btc if I bought all of them? I am not ready to go that low just yet.....but I will def consider it depending on what else comes in.

What we really need is about a dozen other 2-5 MW data center operators to come over. I loathe variance as much as the next miner.....but if all of us said "enough" to the Chinese pools, we could easily get to 100 PH and really smooth things out.
