121  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: One wallet different addresses on: October 16, 2017, 05:15:30 AM
I use coinomi wallet. My  address changes everytime i make a transaction. I am wondering, if I had given someone the wallet address to send funds to before it changes, will i recieve the funds ?

This is what you call, multi sig wallet and not only coinomi does have this feature. Xapo does have this and I'm using xapo before when it was free.

And you don't have to worry about it, if you had given your old wallet address on the same wallet but it's not written on your wallet anymore because it generated another bitcoin address.

The bitcoin's that will be sent to the old wallet is still credited to that wallet and you will receive it without any problem.

I think this is a better feature specially for big transactions about security. Further more as a user we must understand 1st updates or experiment on the wallet before making big transaction to avoid simple problems that could lead to complications.

Question for sapo, what is the feature on the latest update? im on a pc right now and this does not support android apps. I could see later but i just want to ask if you could give an answer. Thank you.
122  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Asian Whales: China will ban Bitcoin trading in Chinese Yuan or USD but... on: October 16, 2017, 04:54:00 AM
There is a rumor China will create a coin similar to USDT(Tether). China will ban Bitcoin trading in Chinese Yuan or USD but will allow Bitcoin trading with this coin made by the Bank of China. Again, regulations seem bad in the short term. However, in the long term, this will contribute to the further growth of the cryptocurrency market as this means governments are recognizing cryptocurrencies.

your reactions ??
you are welcome  Cheesy

If they will still allow bitcoin trading with the currency they create then it would be a win-win situation both for them and for bitcoin because they got what they wanted to create another cryptocurrency and bitcoin is still allowed to be traded in their country. The past month has been a roller coaster ride for bitcoin because of several rumors and news including this China news and we have seen the effect of it to the bitcoin prices but as usual, bitcoin go back up again and reach new high that's why for those people who panic during the dip, they should know first how strong the supporters of bitcoin are to have faith in it rising up again.

The regulations may have a bad effect in the short term but eventually it will have a good effect in the long term as the investors and users of the cryptocurrency are just protected and for bitcoin, it will be free in its bondage to China being influenced in every decision its government makes and continue to flourish without China.

This should be done in other countries if they dont want to regulate bitcoin. Creating their own coin may take long but at least it a good choice to at least manage funds and to have track on how much is being exported or being importd and converted. Because i do not really believe that chinna would bitcoin seeing it can give major economic help. Good to know that they are still supporters of bitcoin.
123  Economy / Gambling / Re: why did you stay? on: October 15, 2017, 01:11:56 PM
People stay in PD because of the amount wagered  over the years but the main reason is the loyalty of the users towards the site. As PD community is the second home for the users there.

I think for me as a a colorblind i like more the background of stake.com and in terms or profit and versatility, i would also prefer stake.com. I was a player at prime dice but i move to stakes and i experienced they both dont really have incentives but what keeps me coming back stakes is the baccarat. I gamble just for fun because i try baccarat IRL gambling and i find it interesting and seeing it in a gambling site for bitcoin is truly satisfying to me.

125  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How do you think, will states be able to regulate the crypto currency? on: October 15, 2017, 10:54:35 AM
How do you think, will states be able to regulate the crypto currency?

i don't think the states can regulate the crypto because they can not get involve inside the crypto currency world and they only can learn what is crypto currency. maybe they can protect their citizen from scamming program but they can not control or regulate the crypto. i think they will make some program or something like that to see the transaction in crypto world so they will know what is going on in crypto currency. or maybe they can controlling the exchanges and then the exchanges cooperate with government to manage or regulate the exchanges.

It is better to let the government to make services out of bitcoin or cryptocurrency. States should make initiative for the citizens to use bitcoin while they citizen can give back to the government for the economy. Because even if they regulate it, they cant really control how much would to each citizen and probably rich companies from the state will take advantage of it and now the usually common citizens.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Price Pumps and Forks on: October 15, 2017, 06:52:39 AM
As the price of BTC is increasing on an upward trend and falls only by few bucks, short-term Alternative Coin traders are crying blood. I believe it is due to the upcoming fork. How many more forks are we expecting in the future? It seems that through forks they are pumping the price of btc and once the price becomes stagnant they will start another fork.

The Fork happens because of the war right now that is happening within the Bitcoin, i am hoping that this will be the last fork that can happen because i think with an absurd price of Bitcoin though it is a good thing for user who have Bitcoin but it will be hard for beginners to get a hold of a coin if the price is too much and price always pumps because of the fork.

Well as lowly traders we may say that we are not really affected by this fork but as a miner it is a good oppurunity to make easy mining with bitcoin. Hard forks is just to recognize old blocks from the network and if you are a miner, it is not just a new coin will be mined but also new apps will be made easy for the hardfork.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should rely on bitcoin, if government regularize it ? on: October 15, 2017, 06:29:32 AM
If they want to regulate Bitcoin they need to control and regulate all the users and miners of bitcoin through the whole earth, they can't control its price and its volume, the quantity is limited and the quality gets higher everyday, that's why some government just bans it to their own country the only thing that the government can do to this coin, other than banning, they can implement some government coinbase app or website that have a system to impose tax and extra fees for the transaction of the bitcoin.

I think it is better if government would make their own mining system i the blockchain. That way, they could become bigwhales wou can control the price of bitcoin. Better yet propose plans to ally with bitcoin services for the economy and innovate it to its citizen to support any project from the government. Because it is hard to control citizens once they know how bitcoin fully function as an investment income.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: October 15, 2017, 05:25:26 AM
I just want to tell you we are same now. but if you are a survivor, you must change your mindset.
I want to begin the party now and I guest there's is no way for late for the survivor.
keep your mind comfort, start from zero. do what you can do.
now i'm start to be a bounty hunter for collect a coin. but i have a dream and motivation.
I can be like the other's who rich from cryptocurrency. im preety sure i can be like them.
so you must keep your spirit never look back and we will be the winner in the 3 years later. amin

Well sometimes it really is hard to pursue cryptocurrency when really dont have enough funds. Because even if you keep collecting bounties or any campaigns, chances are you are still a small trader. It's hard to earn if you don't have another income business besides bitcoin. But off course a lot of people got rich just in bitcoin so go for it.
129  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Research Shows Half a Billion People Are Mining Cryptocurrencies Without Knowing on: October 15, 2017, 03:49:48 AM

What?Huh  They should inform us or at least ask for permission.  They got all the profit at the expense of our CPUs.  Criminals in disguise.

QUOTE
We found 220 sites that launch mining when a user opens their main page, with an aggregated audience of 500 million people. These people live all over the world; there are sites with users from the USA, China, South American and European countries, Russia, India, Iran… and the list goes on.

The ethical way for a website to earn money by mining through its audience’s computers is to ask the audience for permission first, and to allow them the possibility to opt out. Actually, such a practice could make mining even more ethical than ads. After all, nobody asks us if we would like to see ads on a website.

This is why almost all cloud mining are just scams. Just downloading their app is enough for them have access in our pc's So for desperate beginners who would want to mine without really spending huge amount is not really worth it and you will just be taken advantage. Mining really is a huge investment if you want to build your own mining system. Antminers and other technology to help solve and reduce electricity  is not just gonna be downloaded.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: eSports Crypto Betting In Europe on: October 14, 2017, 08:17:52 AM
I used directbet.eu back then when I was into gambling using my Bitcoins and I think it is a Europe based cryptocurrency gambling, I still want to gamble and bet into it as it is a great website and it is almost complete when it comes to sports in the whole world and any other king of horse racing and a few bunch of casino games but it was suddenly close last May and I really don't know the reason behind it.

Maybe the main reason behind the closure of my favoritw gambling site is the regulation of Europe in cryptocurrency gambling online.

Well it is still a token but still it is a great move for cryptocurrency in general. Tokens still is a great goods inline with this gambling sites. But fpr Europe to innovate in token can be a good opportunity for other services in gambling to execute a new payment style for betting. I guess they are now making plans to convert the token to their currency.
131  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there signature campaigns for newbie accounts? on: October 14, 2017, 07:56:37 AM
yeah, you can apply to a bounty campaign proceed to service section then find the open bounty campaign, about 777 signature campagn i try to apply ti that campaign but they won't accept me yet, maybe it's because of many participant are there. but you can try to apply.

If op has fb or twitter account that has the required minimum followers or friends then they can apply. Because i think they dont have restricion regarding rank amongst members posting in the forum. I haven't tried for a long time but either be paid in token or btc it is still profitable especially with tokens but it is a long term though.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Basics on: October 14, 2017, 06:11:10 AM
is there a bitcoin mining here in the philippines? My cousin says, mining is low because the internet is weak and requires strong electricity. is my cousin right?

Not true at all, i actually met a few friends from the philipines on this forum and othr forums.
There is a fairly large group of miners in the philipines actually, and is still pretty profitable im assuming.
Ive shipped a fair amount of hardware to the philipines, so if your planning to start mining there. I say go ahead! Do your due diligence, and mine away!

This too is my issue because i though internet in philippines is slow and its gonna have a hard time mining it with electricity problems. I plan to buy hardware in other countries but i cant find any good site to find what i need specifically. Could you give me some site or services you could offer and i think about it if i will buy or not. I could work for pool mining if i cant really do it. Just for a head start.
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Jamie Dimon on: October 14, 2017, 05:58:23 AM
he just makes himself look stupid by saying all these. and it has absolutely nothing to do with bitcoin. bitcoin price may have stayed the same or even dropped to $0 and he still would have been looked upon as some idiot.

you see he is from US, the same country with multiple gigantic companies accepting bitcoin (the same bitcoin he calls fraud) as payment.
Microsoft, Dell, Overstock.com, Valve, even PayPal has partnered up with coinbase and bitpay!, and a lot more...
are all these accepting a "fraud" or just one guy is an idiot Cheesy

Jamie had his reasons and we don't know what kind of scheme he is doing but surely in his mind, he is waiting for bitcoin to crash and express the phrase "i told you so". I take it that he is an experienced businessman but to be spouting such negative comments is not just because he hates but he might have infos that only he and his allies can understand. But still as of now, he got the wrong idea on bitcoin.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin keep rising past $5,200? on: October 13, 2017, 02:06:40 PM
Another prediction thread nice.  It will always increase as time goes by. Their are many events to watch out for and it simple wont go high without investors. So the more the investors the higher the price can attain.
135  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 7k before fork? on: October 13, 2017, 11:29:17 AM
It can be possible because bitcoin is slowly attracting investors and some big whales are investing more into bitcoin. Although it is not sure if the increase will continue, but at least it will another all time high. Because during the past days it keeps on increasing and i don't know if bitcoin will have dump but is is safe to say that after the fork, the price will reach higher than just 7k.
136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Value Cost Averaging Investment strategy for Bitcoin / Cryptos on: October 13, 2017, 10:36:18 AM
I've been using it since I started 3 years ago. Never really complained about the price being high, but just averaged my spendings and thankfully it worked out well. As a guy who earns minimum wage back then, it's too hard to spend money on things that doesn't seem to be an okay investment, but I just gambled it out and bought every week, averaging what I buy and what I can afford. Built a stash and sold it all in April-May 2017. It's a nice strategy for those wanting to get their share fast, too. When everyone else is losing, you can still keep on buying without risking anything large, too.

This too was my dilemma back when i was still a student. I was not into it at first and hesitant to buy specifically bitcoin at that time because i dont know then how to buy other cryptocurrencies. I did not know the how to make trades and even withdraw them. But at least everything is becoming clear and although i am not using that strategy, i am earning in my own ways. I guess i gonna be using this strategy late then anyone else.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Freelancers accepting payment in crypto on: October 13, 2017, 09:13:57 AM
From what I've seen, the offers from those sites seem more than just a bit lower than the fiat rates. If that's the case, it might be best to just work for fiat then trade for crypto after.

Well that is because it's a freelancing job. You could do the same work at different companies but just altering a bit or more to be different from others. Its like doing the same work all over again but with different companies. But jobs in the internet and IRL are not the same. And it depends also if companies knows or prefers bitcoin payment rather than any other currencies or in fiat.
138  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying information on what to buy/sell and where on: October 13, 2017, 08:36:56 AM
The problem with receiving information, whether free or paid, is that you have to be careful someone is not trying to hype a coin they are holding. Look for independent advice and do not follow trollboxes on exchanges.

Many people are not at all showing interest towards learning from basics and following the people is not at all good. Yes, there are many pumps and dump where they will hype the coin and people who believe they will be in loss.
It is the most common mistake which majority of the investors commit in the beginning, there is no other way of making a good amount of profit by investing in bitcoin other than learning and good background knowledge about the things. You are going to lose your money if you are jumping into bitcoin without any information. You will not be able to decide well.

But sometimes it is even better to have a little of badluck because it can give experience for traders. At least we know the risks and feeling of losing money in the wrong investment. Although their are also traders who learn mistakes of other traders. It's not always also their is a profit in trading but surely their are many success stories around the forum amidst of negative issues we are having right now.
139  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Could we invalidate all regulations? on: October 12, 2017, 10:21:09 AM
This regulation even it’s either the transaction is bitcoin to fiat or vice versa, the government will implement a counter bill to or amend the existing one to cater that idea your thinking of. Government is not just focusing on what is trend but on where is the money that circulating for the taxes. We can’t blame them because a country needs taxation to work and function.

This regulation if this is for the goodness of the people and the country, I think the bitcoin community will support it.

I think with the gaining popularity of bitcoin, its just a matter of time for the government to really target it for tax purposes. We are one step ahead of them though, but sooner or later they will caught on us specially those not paying taxers. So regulations will the norm for all of us. Its gonna be arduous task for government to do this, but they don't care as long as they can chase people not paying taxes.

Will the community support it? Well for now its really hard to tell, maybe the community will be divided by government imposed bitcoin regulations. Let's see how things turns out in the future.

I would gladly be the one on supporting this regulation and taxation, only if the government official running my country is not corrupt, serve for the betterment of its citizen and work to follow the law to be a good leader. In my country I do now, support our new president and administration and any law regarding taxation is welcome as we have seen tremendous work they’re doin now for infrastructure in our convenience.

Maybe not all bitcoiners will support this move but sooner or later we can’t run and hide for long. We need to face and share as a goodman in our nation.

I suppose i will agree too and it will also help a nation economically if they will use it positively. Tax should really be imposed so that it could also give back for the government. Because if it wont be taxed, where can the government get its funds also?. It's harsh for the reality but if only the citizens will get the benefit of bitcoin, it wont really help the country specially those bitcoin investors does not really help the community. And i think corporations will also manipulate if ever btc will be regulated but not fully taxed.
140  Economy / Goods / Re: How To Buy A Car With Bitcoin on: October 12, 2017, 10:05:28 AM
amazing car dealers can accept payments with bitcoin, if I can have a bitcoin in large quantities, I would definitely visit lamborghini car dealer. but in my country it seems there is still no car dealership that can accept payment with bitcoin, hopefully in future ahead more and more payments using Bitcoin are acceptable to many entrepreneurs here especially in car dealer companies as discussed this. gradually bitcoin will be increasingly popular in its use and can be accepted in big stores like this.
The most informative question in this foroum is your question. In most of the country there are a big dealer who are dealing mostly payment online while supplying their cars to the whole world. So if you have a lot of bitcoins and you can able to buy a car then you can easily deal with the dealer and also in future it is more expected that all country will start that service for buying things through bitcoins.

I think manufacturers would more prefer fiat or bank deposits. The reason is because it is a multimillion transaction and its better to keep in one vault rather than having another online wallet for better total of how many assets they have sold in a span of years. Although many services are already trusting bitcoin, we can't really expect all people to have such trust ib bitcoin. Well we could buy via bitcoin but as long as it is converted to a fiat currency.
