The fact that there are still a lot of countries that accept this digital currency is the proof. Also, even if bitcoin and other digital currencies are banned, they can still use it as an investment online since it is only banned to be accepted in the country as a payment but not online.

I agree, even if the price of bitcoin is soaring at the time you give them bitcoin, they won't know what to do with it and not all of the poor people have any access or knowledge prior to the technologies and especially the internet.
