121  Economy / Economics / Re: Which crypto-currency do you prefer? on: January 22, 2018, 03:58:04 PM
At the moment I prefer Bitcoin, but I am looking for an alternative. Can anyone suggest me some alternative cryptocurrencies except Bitcoin ?!
P.S: I'm so sorry if I post this in the wrong board but I don't know what is right board for this question. If I post this in the wrong board, please move it to the right one, thank you.

Everyone wants to have their own Bitcoin since it is the most expensive and most popular digital currency but there are a lot of other digital currencies circulating online like Ethereum and Litecoin. If you want to invest on other digital currencies, you can just search that out, but if you want to invest on new ones, there is a lot of new ICOs and it is in the Alternative Cryptocurrency Section.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 12:16:29 PM
Govts ban Bitcoin and any form of Crypto payments since these types of transactions cannot be taxed and therefore will make them lose potential funds for the development of their respective country.

If this is true, do you have any proof to prove this? Because for me it is not the reason. Bitcoin is unstable that is why. The fact that there are still a lot of countries that accept this digital currency is the proof. Also, even if bitcoin and other digital currencies are banned, they can still use it as an investment online since it is only banned to be accepted in the country as a payment but not online.
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saving is not safe on: January 22, 2018, 11:43:42 AM
Use a strong password or use hardware wallet, unless the hacker has a super duper quantum computer, blockchain and bitcoin are hackproof.

Well, strong passwords are hard to decrypt but still, even if you have these kinds of password and you are too careless, I think that will be still useless. I think the threat to digital currencies would probably be quantum computers if they will be invented quickly, but they still need a lot of years to in existence and I think digital currencies will be ready by then.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 10:12:14 AM
Men are a bit more adventurous when it comes to investing. Some are even willing to sell everything, including the house, to invest in bitcoins.

I am not saying that it is wrong but the idea of including their houses are a bit over the top. Men are adventurous, that is right, but there are also a lot of women who are so business-minded and also adventurous as men are. It is just, in this type of industry, I think, men are a little above than women. There are also a lot of women investing and buying digital currencies, they are just not that popular and want to stay hidden and anonymous.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 09:43:13 AM
I think some governments have forbidden bitcoin because of its price and it is in demand around the world. In addition, their government can not earn taxes from bitcoin and their country also has the advantage of bitcoin to invest in and consider this a non-taxable purchase.

If this is just the case, I don't know why will country ban digital currencies especially bitcoin since it will be good for the country's economy. But the real reason why the government ban bitcoin is because of it's volatility that is being said that may affect the country's economy. Tax is not a problem since if people in their country widely use bitcoin, they can just add some taxes in the items and it will be good.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: January 22, 2018, 08:36:37 AM
To say nothing, in my opinion, gold is certainly more reliable. Although you can earn more on bitcoin.

I think in terms of price and volatility, bitcoin is reigning but in terms of being a good and reliable source of income it will still be gold. A lot of good investors are still picking gold, metals, as they usually say to be a good investment and not bitcoin. Digital currencies moves quickly, that is an advantage and a disadvantage of it.
127  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum after 5 years? on: January 22, 2018, 08:02:56 AM
if we talking about 5 years from now i think bitcoin still much profitable then ETH, and ofcourse ETH can follow the profit like BTC too if i see ETH recod progres
and two of them i think are profitable

5 years is a long year for a digital currency, the price moves quickly and we won't know what may happen at that time. But for me, BTC will still be the most expensive digital currency followed by another digital currency and followed by ETH. ETH may be the third most expensive digital currency but I think it may be close to BTC's price in that time.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: January 22, 2018, 06:25:30 AM
First thing is always attractive and worthy, the father of all crypto is bitcoins , i think this is the only reason behind this, the old and most trusted crypto.

You're like saying that the first movies of Marvel heroes are attractive and worthy to watch than the new Marvel heroes in the last couple of years. No, Bitcoin is popular because it is the original, even if there are a lot of new digital currencies on circulation, Bitcoin will be still the original. And the fact that Bitcoin is the most expensive one making a lot of people become millionaires, Bitcoin will definitely be popular.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: January 22, 2018, 05:39:38 AM
The purpose is very heartwarming and softens my heart. But instead of donating Bitcoin to the poor, I'd rather give them food, clothing and things that they are needed because not all of the people knows what bitcoin is. So the bitcoin you donate may be wasted if it is given to the hands of those who don't have any idea about it.

I agree, even if the price of bitcoin is soaring at the time you give them bitcoin, they won't know what to do with it and not all of the poor people have any access or knowledge prior to the technologies and especially the internet. Giving them things that they already know is the best thing to do rather than giving them digital currency, also if I will be giving them something, I want to give them something that will really help them and rise their selves from being a poor family. Giving them food and clothes is good but I think in the end they are still poor as they are.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ate you going to spend or save you bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 04:56:32 AM
I think i will save it. For my future and for my financial problems.

I will be saving it too, but not for my future or for my financial problems since I have a job and my pay rate there can cover that but because the price now is not that good to sell it. I thought that it will be having a good price pump this year but it did not, and I just knew that this will happen I will quickly convert my BTCs into ETH but I am too late.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: January 22, 2018, 03:52:20 AM
Bitcoin and so much has already changed in our world, but the main thing is that he changed the life of many people for the better

Bitcoin changes the way people think. Since bitcoin and other digital currencies are so volatile, the way they handle their own money and holdings is different they mostly hold it for a long time and most of them don't really sold their digital currencies but just enjoy the fact that it is just pumping in that moment. They rejoice when it pumps but panics when it dumps.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: January 21, 2018, 04:04:18 AM
If I had that kind of money for sure real estate.

I will be picking real estate too. I don't think my money would work on investing in some good but not that big companies. Real estate is the most good way of investing and a lot said that it can also be tax free, I don't know for sure but I think it is really good to invest there. They also said that real estate is an investment for retirement.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: January 21, 2018, 03:16:47 AM
if you have indeed surrendered with bitcoin, and just want to see price increases, do not buy bitcoin. but I am sure, you will regret. because many are of
the opinion that the price of bitcoin in the future will be very high.

Every year the price will be higher and more and more to spend your pocket money to buy it, you should buy it at the price down and invested in the long term.

It is the common practice of a certain bitcoin holder, there is nothing new to these kind of strategy. If there will be something that can give you more profit, I think investing to new altcoins or the upcoming ICOs. Buying bitcoin is good but you still need to wait for it, while if you buy good altcoins, you can start yourself trading in a different kinds of digital currencies.
134  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: January 16, 2018, 01:53:18 PM
Bitcoin does nothing, ICOs help programmers , designers and generally people to start new business and projects, bitcoin is shit worth nothing, does nothing. ICOs are the products that change the world!

And this altcoins you are saying are all just a product of bitcoin. So without bitcoin, there will be no ICOs you are talking about. Yes, it is aimed for other project starting new businesses and project but if you say that bitcoin is nothing, then these projects are also nothing since the origin of these coins are bitcoin, so if bitcoin is nothing, then these altcoins you are talking about is nothing.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: January 16, 2018, 01:19:02 PM
My biggest regret is that I didnt buy more bitcoin when the price was low. Almost all have same regret  Kiss

There are a lot of regret in the world and when it is about bitcoin, I guess you will say that it is when they never bought bitcoin earlier when it is so cheap. But I think it is also a choice when you say that you did not know bitcoin earlier, right? A lot of people know what bitcoin and some of them don't care but to most of the people who can see it's potential in the future, they start knowing and investing to it.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 12:38:34 PM
the most I like in bitcoin is that you get money just sitting and you're not tired and you can buy what you want

Bitcoin does not do that in action, it is done by a lot of people who wants to take part in this growing community. The price of bitcoin is based on the law of demand and supply and also with a lot of people who become millionaire, people also want to become one and started investing and buying digital currencies especially bitcoin to become one. And that is what they like, and me about bitcoin, it's volatility.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: January 16, 2018, 11:22:03 AM
Bitcoin is indeed money. In fact, Global money !  Roll Eyes

And how can you say that? Since a lot of people are using bitcoin and been sending from country to country? Bitcoin may be used by a lot of people world wide but I don't think it can be described as a "Global money" or even money. Money are issued mostly by the government, it is used as the blood flow of one's country, without it, it will die and bitcoin, even without flowing in a country, will not affect the country unlike real money.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: January 16, 2018, 10:51:33 AM
if bitcoin used as a payment it will be loss, but if bitcoin for savings, its very good and profitable

Why will it be loss? I think it is good for digital currencies to also circulate in the network. If bitcoin is just being at hold by whales and other people below them, I think the price will really fall down. If there are easy ways to earn bitcoin, the demand will increase, that will be directly proportional to the bitcoin price and not only that, it will also attract more users making a pump in the price.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: January 15, 2018, 01:27:11 PM
They just follow the course of government institutes. They are told to write bad things about it and everyone follows orders.

You can't just say this kind of things since not all of the articles, videos and blogs are saying bad things to this digital currency. A lot of people especially big names in the trading industry has some good thing to say about this. They might not like other things about bitcoin and some of them created something to mislead a lot of people but if you really want to use bitcoin, it is not that bad since it created a lot of new things out of the world.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: January 15, 2018, 12:34:57 PM
No, because it still need general trust and acceptance; when the well known problems will be solved, probably it will become the strongest currency.

It is been here for a couple of years now and I think it don't need any general trust or acceptance but improvement and development. A lot of people are now wanting to hold and use bitcoin, and I think the current bitcoin can't hold that large amount of users. The cheap fee now is just a history, it is now so expensive which I think drove people away from it. Bitcoin now is staying at $13K and I think it will be staying there for a long moment of time.
