121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: January 18, 2020, 11:33:00 AM
I think having cryptocurrency experience is already a thing to avoid scamming, if you already know the market and how things work in the crypto world, it will be easy for you to identify scam websites and internet scam advertising. A lot of newbies in cryptocurrency get scammed because they are too greedy in earning a ton of bitcoins in ponzies or pyramids. The thing you have to remember is that if something seems to be too good to be true then it probably is

i agree one of the reasons why newbie get scam is because of greediness and lack of knowledge
because there is s a lot of opportunities they think that in crypto everything is easy money
they will look for the easiest way to earn and will support it even it looks like a scam
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year? on: January 18, 2020, 11:26:35 AM
I personally prefer to hold bitcoin and ethereum. They are good coin and more potential to hold for long term.
i hold bitcoin for more than a year and for altcoin i sometimes hold it
but not for long term i just use them for trading to get more bitcoin.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: January 17, 2020, 04:27:13 PM
I expect it will change the market into a bullish one, in fact I think it's already showing as this start of the year seems to be a bullish year.

We just touched to $9000 today, we are just in the first month and there's a big possibility that we will close to $10,000 this month.
if the trend will just continue going to the halving, we could possibly see higher than $13k which was the highest price last year as the hype could cause a rocket of price like what BSV has achieve recently.
i agree i also expect bullish market this year
because there will be a price correction before and after halving and the price is already moving
im not expecting a large increase but at least i think $14k will be the lowest after the price correction.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token supply on: January 17, 2020, 04:20:00 PM
sometimes I think if you look at the amount of token supply in such a large amount that trillions and trillions after the project runs several months or years, the token will be burned, what for if you make tokens with a large supply, but will be burned, ...?

 Roll Eyes
its not really a good idea a lot of coins already make similar to that in the past
and there will be a large sell wall in 1 satoshi and it will almost impossible to sell your coin

125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: January 17, 2020, 04:11:45 PM
Most of them are great, IEO is upgraded version of ICO and I think it has some better features when compared to ico
IEO is really an upgraded version of ICO but most of them are not really good as you think
some of them don't have good purpose and a lot of them is a scam
after getting the money from exchange sometime the team will just disappear
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 17, 2020, 04:06:31 PM
It's 2020 and what a time to be alive, bitcoin halving is around the corner and from history it has always favoured  the price of bitcoin and as altcoins mostly depend on Bitcoin rally to moon, we're in good hands. Try to avoid falling prey to scammers using fake giveaway to steal your coins. Increase your security and store your coins in private wallets not exchange. The market will begin recovery soon, don't be too smart wanting to cashout on every profit you see, it might make you lose future profits. Be patience, believe in the process. Cryptocurrency is the future.

Happy New year to every Bitcoiner and Altcoiners out there, 2020 is a year with numerous opportunities, don't let those opportunities pass you by but still apply caution in every decision you make in 2020. I wish you all a profitable year.
i agree that 2020 really a good opportunity for those who own bitcoin
base on history every halving the price really favoured to bitcoin and always break it owns ATH
we just really need patience right now because the price is already increased even before the halving
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 17, 2020, 03:49:50 PM
If you see, the price of Altcoin went up very high in early 2018 and then the price of Altcoin fluctuated in 2019.
Now in 2020, people are expecting the price of Altcoin to go up. If the price of Altcoin goes too high then it will be very difficult to buy.
Some people say that cryptocurrency is a digital currency, we cannot calculate its value because we cannot accurately estimate the value of cryptocurrency / Altcoin. We can say that when people give bad news about cryptocurrency, people get upset that they sell their currency.
some altcoin depends on bitcoin when bitcoin price rise
some of the altcoins also get a price increase
bitcoin halving is coming that why we can also expect some rise for altcoin
but the risk is high in my opinion as of now its better to invest in bitcoin than altcoin
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The use of Bitcoin on: January 16, 2020, 04:57:56 PM
Everyone is comfortable with legacy systems. Those who grew up reading and writing letters through postal services find it very hard in the start to shift to email and other new services that followed. Same is true for Bitcoin, with time we will find bitcoin easy to use. All Bitcoin need is time and our attention.
i agree bitcoin just need time and adoption
as of now its still hard to use bitcoin because the price is still not stable thats why many people is afraid to leave their comfort zone
but in my opinion, the price of bitcoin will be stable in the future when the rewards of block become so low due to halving

129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 16, 2020, 04:44:22 PM
I've seen that it's possible to interact with the Bitcoin blockchain using mesh network antennas, satellites and even radio waves. This is great, because it further decentralizes Bitcoin as we know it. But I'm wondering if it's possible to send/receive Bitcoin over Bluetooth? Considering that most devices of today are powered by Bluetooth, it's much easier for anyone to interact with Bitcoin this way than using satellites, and other means mentioned previously.

Do you think something like this is possible these days? If so, how can I do this with my mobile device? Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance Smiley
after the transfer, you will also need to go online to confirm the transaction
it's also possible that the sender will cancel the transaction or remove the coin before you confirm it
in my opinion, even it is possible it will be complicated and not safe
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a bullish sign as halving approaches? on: January 16, 2020, 04:35:14 PM
Price fluctuations may be an indicator of investor sentiment. Hashrate, though, is often seen as the better market number to watch in order to truly evaluate Bitcoin adoption, and recent hashrate statistics indicate that adoption continues to grow.

By all accounts, Bitcoin has had quite a tumultuous year. After starting the year more than 80% down from its all-time high, BTC recovered significantly before once again losing several thousands of dollars in value.

Source link here

For me, I think this could be another "unsure" prediction or analysis.

Although the hashrate of Bitcoin has increased significantly, this isn't guaranteed that Bitcoin will be having a big bull run when halving draws near. Remember that there are still scammers out there like PlusToken, lurking from the shadows, waiting to strike when BTC moons, then they dump a lot of their assets to bring the market down again.

I can't be sure if the increased hashrate of Bitcoin would really become "bullish" because the market today is so unpredictable. What do you guys think?
there will be a price correction after halving so we can expect a slight increase in minimum
expecting a big bull run is not really a good idea because the market is really unpredictable
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Drama on: January 16, 2020, 04:15:27 PM
When you go to a cinema to watch movie, it will have a start and an end. The same is what is presently happening to the present display of BSV in the crypto market.
All of a sudden, it pumped to high and all of a sudden, like a drama, it will **** so low.
Do not be surprised that this will also be like a drama that has a start and will have an end.
I just pity those who will fall for it.
It's just a mere hype.

Be careful, this is year 2020, we ought to be wiser.
those who join the hype of that coin will regret it someday when the coin price drop a large amount
this is not new in crypto they will get profit at first but someday they will lose all of it including their investment
those behind that pump and dump coin is just waiting for them to fully trust it then sell their coin
this is why it hard to trust a coin with team managing it because they will also sell when the price is high
if im right ETH and LTC developer and founder also sell coins when the price is high in the past.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 16, 2020, 03:58:37 PM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
i agree there will be a lot of altcoins that will be left out when bitcoin price increase
it's really hard to know which coin will survive this year so it's better to sell your altcoin for bitcoin because the risk is lower on it.
in bitcoin, there is incoming halving so there will be a price correction while in altcoin there no incoming event
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coming from altcoin to bitcoin on: January 13, 2020, 05:31:36 PM
I don't know if its the right call or not but i just feel like its better to sell my bags of altcoins for bitcoin, most of the altcoins i owned are not top altcoins, mostly new coins from bounties and I've seen coins worth of 2k turn 20$ while holding them, finally i decide to take out the losses and invest in bitcoin, if you are holding any altcoins that aren't good enough do not hesitate to sell for bitcoin to at least make some profits
if the coin is not really good enough or don't have a purpose it's better to sell it now while it still has some value
I also sell some of my token and altcoin for bitcoin in the past few weeks
but not all of it because I still have hope for some of the altcoin I hold
sometimes altcoin take a few years before it gain some price increase
im just hoping I pick the right token and earn something from it someday.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin still or altcoins on: January 13, 2020, 04:43:03 PM
Putting all my money on bitcoin is more smarter than going for altcoins? I think bitcoin will always surge even if it loses value today, i never think twice about this anymore because in the past if i never switched to altcoin i would have be in big profit today, what do you guys think about my plan? Stupid or 👍
in my opinion, you make a good decision by putting all your money in bitcoin
because if you put your money in altcoin the risk is higher there is also a chance that you will lose a lot of money
price of an altcoin is sometimes depended on bitcoin but it's hard to know which altcoin will rise when the bitcoin price increase
in bitcoin, there is also an incoming halving so we can expect a price increase
and for altcoin until now there still no reason for the price increase so it's not really a good idea to buy it.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC and Altcoin Price Movement on: January 13, 2020, 04:36:11 PM
The relationship between bitcoins and subcoins is very bad. Even if Altcoin projects are intact, they cannot stand against Bitcoin. Bitcoin price sweeps the whole market. Bitcoin dominance needs to fall. Ethereum is a project that can achieve this.

If you want the Bitcoin dominance to fall, then you need to create good altcoins with proper usage. Right now none of the altcoins are able to give tough competition to Bitcoin, because they are useless for any purpose other than trading. Come up with a cryptocurrency that can be used somewhere, and you will get good acceptance and adoption in the targeted sector.
i agree if they want the bitcoin dominance to fall they need to create a good coin that has a purpose
i thought that eth can achieve it before but after just a few years we realize that eth is not good as we expect
on eth network there a lot of coins with no purpose, coin that was used for scam
until now eth just making the market crowded with no purpose token that almost no value.

136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 start of a fresh market for crypto. on: January 13, 2020, 04:16:25 PM
I'm a little relieved entering 2020. Bitcoin has touched $8000. Hopefully a good step for the future. 2020 needs improvement on crypto market. Investors and traders will have new spirit and trust if they find good things this year.
it's reasonable that the price of bitcoin increase this year because of the incoming halving
im also looking forward this year because the halving is almost there
im not hoping for a big price increase this year im just hoping that bitcoin will get more adoption in 2020
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin fail if Satoshi is found? on: January 12, 2020, 03:44:17 PM
From the topic, I don't think that Bitcoin will ever fail again, even if the real Satoshi Nakamoto is found, Bitcoin will still continue.

Remember that Bitcoin is not controled by Nakamoto, and not by anyone.
i agree bitcoin will not fail even satoshi Nakamoto is found
bitcoin is not really controlled by anyone
it is standalone technology that cannot be controlled
when the time comes that satoshi sell all his coin it will make the price drop but I think it will still continue and grow after
138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing Price On 2019? What do you think this year 2020 will be? on: January 12, 2020, 03:36:32 PM

Bitcoin closing price on Thanksgiving:
2020 Dec 30 - Huh
2019 Dec 30 - $7227
2018 Dec 30 - $4,365
2017 Dec 18 - $19,140
2016 Dec 30 - $973
2015 Dec 30 - $431

Honestly I think Bitcoin 2020 will make progress , not only in price progress but also technical development will be happened. And we, most of the crypt lover don't focus upon that point.

What do you think this year 2020 will be? Comment below.
i think before 2020 end bitcoin price will be atleast higher than $14000 im expecting a big price increase
im my opinion $14000 is just a reasonable price after bitcoin halving
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's make mining sustainable on: January 12, 2020, 03:33:25 PM
Hey
We all know how the year had been Sad , unfortunately we have seen worst case of bush fire in Amazon , in Australia , environment is changing drastically , not so long enough we used to have snow here and now it's already January , no sign of snow ...
In certain places where it was supposed to be winter , it's raining there tremendously and it's something that am seeing from my own eyes.
I think this 2020 we should focus on reducing the carbon footprint of bitcoins , reduce the energy minning takes ND the pollution it generates .
Hopefully the community will come forward and the creators will also look out for this .
If you are in the IT sector please spare some time and brains for this problem and try finding a way out .

P.S. people please understand that I do not mean they cause bush fires !! It's all about environment change Smiley

in my opinion bitcoin mining is not only the cause of that pollution maybe it just adds a little because it also use electricity
there already a lot of pollution in the world before bitcoin is created it's also increasing because power demands continue to rise
the main cause of pollution is the new building more population that use a lot of electricity
if you want to change maybe start from yourself and show us some examples like stop using gadgets and devices that use electricity

140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: free advertising for btc? on: January 12, 2020, 03:12:03 PM
Have you ever heard a show discussing bitcoin in their segment good or bad, i think this shows that we are already going in the real world for good and there will be no stopping us, even if trump, colbert, and buffet try to contradict what crypto really is , this is really a good sign, since this show in national TV will make people curious about bitcoin, i hope there will be more of this here is the link and see for yourself
https://www.newsbtc.com/2020/01/12/late-night-host-exposed-millions-bitcoin/

its good news because of this people are becoming more aware of crypto and bitcoin
I also see bitcoin being mention in different movies and i think it can also give at least small impact.
