1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 17, 2019, 08:07:53 PM
For Bounty Hunters
Even if i advice you not to give up on doing researches on every proje ts before promoting them this doesn't mean they wont scam you or waste your precious time BUT still the only question you need to ask is, Are there bounties that pays hunter good rewards this year? YES they are very few and good projects take time, Do not expect good projects every months cos its impossible

For Investors
ICO and STO are no go side, stay away from them because they are almost all red flags, IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results

Your inputs are very helpful especially with regards to IEO instead of ICO's and STO's. Binance is a reputable exchange and they were able to launch a better rate of success in their IEO's so it's a good choice if you like to invest in any IEO's.

For bounty hunters. This year is not a good season for most of the projects, there are very less projects that became successful this year and their reward is not that good compare to the past years.
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stacking cryptocurrencies with Interest on: October 17, 2019, 02:42:07 AM
Coinmarketcap has recently published a page where they track the interest rates from various cryptocurrencies on different platforms. The highest Bitcoin APR is now 6.20% at BlockFi. Looks like BNB and stable coins have even 10% APRs. I wonder what are these platforms doing with your crypto to offer such high interest rates..

My question to the community is how much you trust these platforms to hold your crypto safe and don't scam away? Is the 4-6% annual interest rate worth the risk for you?

I better invest it myself rather than stacking it to their platforms. It's not that I didn't trust them but it's better to be safe than sorry later. 4-6% annual interest rate is not worth the risk to take.

This kind of return of investment can be easily reach if you know how to play your investment but if you have no other option or you are still a newbie then you can try your luck to them as they are big exchanges also and they will not just fade easily especially the BNB.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My list of 5 Sleeping Giants of 2020 :) on: October 15, 2019, 11:50:00 PM
Let me know your thoughts:

    1. THETA (THETA Network Token): this is based on my underlying assumption that the first winner in what is now a pool of shitcoins/tokens will be one to attract an audience that gets to interact with something connected to its blockchain in real life. Genuine blockchain technology supporters are either young or developers (NOT the investors/traders/financial institutions backing it), This generation is generally nihilist, doesn't give a fuck about existing power structures, and wants to create and live within an ecosystem created and designed according to their needs, not others. Where better to start than something like THETA and the THETA Network / THETA coin,
which brings a decentralized version of online streaming (think Twitch on steroids) catered to gamers and their fans. Twitch supports the project, its launched a successful mainnet, operates a visually stunning platform through sliver.tv (which is currently building support base). Theta Fuel operates like BAT tips, where users can subscribe to channels and get virtual perks and a host of future developments. Just think...  Dr. Disrespect himself making a live appearance on Sliver.tv and doing a 24/hr stream-athon.

    2.  ADA (Cardono): Not really a SLEEPING giant, but compared to its often cited rival, EOS, the ADA platform is ridiculously more sophisticated, well-thought out, and is slowly being implemented to ensure a smooth transition into Shelley. Regardless of whether Shelley drops this month or next year is immaterial to its long term use case. The Cardono user base is (a) extremely active (b) the highly technical network allows for non-technical users to stake and participate, (c) the ADA developer cost / coin value is tiny -- meaning users are getting highly developed technical support developed and designed by some of the worlds brightest engineers for a fraction of a penny of what it costs to be a Bitcoin or XRP developer. Cardano is truly decentralized and assigns "master node" status at random to anyone able and willing to maintain a stable internet connection 24/7. At $.04, you'd be crazy IMO not to put aside 5% or so of your portfolio for ADA. ADA will defeat the multi-billion dollars shitcoin, EOS, which is run by some kid with a shitty track record. I don't even understand how their ICO generated so much cashflow

    3. BNB (Binance Coin): Owning BNB is more comparable to owning shares in a company than most coin offerings, but even at $18.00 it is so undervalued. Binance is to crypto-trading what Apple is (or used to be) to the retail tech industry. Bigger, faster, and more creatively Binance's growth internationally will inevitably drive up the price of its own coin. This is true despite the fact that a large majority of users can't even access BNB (the US) without going through backdoor channels. Every other exchange just creates a platform and leaves it running. Binance is actually developing partnerships with countries, banks, and ICOs to offer a variety of offerings no other exchange offers.

    4. DGB (DigiByte): Not many know this, but DGB has been actually been around since 1993 while. Similar to LTC, but 100x faster, DGB is a BTC carbon copy. It is a decentralized global UTXO PoW based blockchain with a focus on Cyber Security, DigiAssets, Payments & Secure Communications Technologies. It allows for 15-second block time (60 transactions per second) at a virtually free (<.0001USD/transaction). Why is the price of DGB so low right now (.008USD) is hard to say, but likely corresponds with a high circulating supply, coupled by lack of awareness and not being available on many platforms. Look for DGB to begin being exchanged on more and more platforms as ALTs increase and BTC dominance continues to drop below 50% next year. DGB is appealing because when it jumps, it JUMPS. Look at the daily charts and check out June 2017 and January 2018, followed by a couple of smaller waves. We still haven't hit the third Jump, although it seems imminent and could perhaps occur even before 2020.

    5. MANA (Decentraland): Connects digital currency with the purchase or land. Think about that - buying parcels of land online in an instant by using their marketplace platform. How fucking cool is that? MANA is a direct and actual use-case example, and its based upon real estate. I'm just learning more about MANA, but other than THETA, I haven't seen a better use-case offering yet.
Cool

I am not really familiar with other but with the help of your explanation I simply understand them. I agree with the first 3 as good investment choice, I will try your first 3 suggestions in my next investment as they have potentials to grow.

The rest are also good but I am not really convinced with their project. If they will grow also in the future then I may consider also buying them as my target investments right now are likely 2-5 coins/altcoins and I have btc and eth right now as my investment. Keep up the good work and I hope this kind of sharing will continue so it can help others to decide on what to invest next.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Up 18% While Everything Else Red? on: October 15, 2019, 10:38:07 PM
GxChanin (GXS) is up 18%+ while everything else is red, including bitcoin price. Anyone knows why?

https://www.cryptozink.io/currencycoin/GXS/gxchain/

There is a big possibility that it is being hype by a certain group and once they can gather some other investors then they will dump the price at any moment.

But if the pump has nothing to do with it, there is a big chance that it's demand is increasing and it is the main reason why it's price is gaining a positive 18% increase even if others are falling.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I talk about market problems? on: October 15, 2019, 11:36:48 AM
I just want to know, about market issues.
1. Reasons that make you survive or still believe in this market?
2. Is this what is called a market cycle, I mean back to the time before bitcoin reached the highest price in 2017? or maybe like 2014, 2015 or 2016? because I'm not there yet.
3. Why has the recent rise in bitcoin prices not affected the market situation for the better or had an impact on the rise in altcoin prices?
4. In your opinion how to overcome the market situation so that it can be stable again?

Here are my simple contribution answers to your questions base on my experience.
1. I believe in crypto market and I know how it flows as it is like up and downs then I keep on investing, this is how I survive.
2. Yes this is definitely a market cycle but we don't know yet if what is coming either the same with the peak price of 2017 or more.
3. Because the demand is not yet enough to pull the market upward and the demand are more on bitcoin therefore altcoin prices are being dominated.
4. This is very difficult to answer because in my opinion, I don't like a stable market also as I cannot earn a good amount of profit from it. I like a more risky investment that will give you x10 or more of your investment if in case you will be lucky.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of tokens on: October 15, 2019, 03:38:12 AM
So regarding the fact that what it takes to create a token for example an ERC 20, i ahve found a gig on Fiverr.
Check the link.
https://www.fiverr.com/wedowo/create-your-ico-website-and-erc20-token?context_referrer=search_gigs&source=top-bar&ref_ctx_id=34a69322-cdbf-40a4-98e6-b9f51a1be52f&pckg_id=1&pos=3&context_type=auto&funnel=657f18cb-30b9-4ede-a7f7-139b402768ed

Seller is creating an ICO website as well as the token for just 50$. So your basic invetsment is 50$, Now you just need to do marketing by just making a telegram group and launching a scam bounty scheme and give members greed to give 10% commissions. And you are ready to scam people.
People choose these scammers to scam them and thats all. Not saying that all of the tokens are of this type but most of them are of indeed.

Yeah, this is the reason why plenty of scrap projects are launching everywhere because they can easily create their own token then they just do the rest like marketing, whitepaper, roadmap, team and etc.

Just to make their project a legit one even if their main purpose is to run away any investment money that they can gain from it's launch. This kind of wok will surely ruin the reputation of genuine projects.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things Successful ICOs Have in Common. on: October 14, 2019, 01:40:55 PM
We have noticed that a lot of successful ICOs have exhibited common factors. One of these is their use of hype. Another is a detailed presentation of the company's roadmap.

You forgot the most important part of successful ICO's which are detailed whitepaper and solid marketing strategies. Without these two, ICO's will not become successful.

Right now, hype is not very useful as investors already knows this kind of tactics especially if the hype is very obvious.
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs really DEAD or simply cleared a path for better projects? on: October 13, 2019, 04:40:21 PM
Even after the onset of the bear market in January 2018, ICOs were still happening at a rate
of well over a hundred each month, but by 2019 the flow of projects had dwindled to almost nothing.

ICO PROCEEDS DROP TO $338M..

According to figures from cryptocurrency analytics firm LongHash and published on October 1,
ICOs are no longer profitable. They may even disappear completely in 2020, said researchers.
https://bitcoinist.com/icos-will-disappear-in-2020-as-data-shows-95-funding-decline/

But here on BitcoinTalk we see new [ANN] threads and [BOUNTIES]
Is this just smoke and mirrors or does this forum know something researchers do not?

There is a big chance that they will likely to disappear as ICO's have been overtaken by IEO's. Though we are still in bear season so we cannot guarantee yet that ICO's will not be alive again once we will step in the peak season.

But base in your graph, the ICO's are almost fading this year and this was because either they are out of ideas on what to launch or they are waiting for the right time to launch their projects like in peak season.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 13, 2019, 03:16:01 PM
I am here to confuse people who still think that any new projects that entered crypto space with teams that are able to show their faces on videos and even attend good crypto seminars anywhere around the world have nothing to hide, and they think its real project and far from scam, well the biggest scams in crypto space are able to cater away with that huge money because many believes they are real, The ceo and teams coming out in publics to discuss about the projects doesn't erase the fact that they can scam you.
Bitconnect did the same thing and miracle tele joined too

I have encountered plenty of projects like these and they even reach their softcap but after that they just run away with the money. Showing their faces doesn't mean that they are not a scammer already.

Yes, miracletele is the latest one that did this kind of exit. They even have an existed project and they raised millions of dollars but after that the CEO exit first and followed by the rest of the team.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power belongs to the investors, they are not to be toyed with on: October 13, 2019, 02:11:39 PM
Investors needs to have interest in other for a project to survive, once investors lose interest its the end, this is why i think developers need to be serious from now onward, there will come a time that new projects won't see investors investing on their projects and its because we have had enough of crappy projects, if there is no more good ideas developers need to stop building projects

It will only mean that demands will stop, if this situation will happen. Having no investors is like having no demand whatever project it is whether it is a potential one or a shit project.

But this situation will unlikely to happen because if there is a chance for someone to earn some money then they will surely take the risk. There are plenty of people like this around the globe therefore there is a very less chance that the demand will stop. Yes, I agree that investors have the power but they are not fouls that all of them will just stop investing because they lost interest.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! SO MANY PROJECTS !!! What 's going on ? on: October 13, 2019, 12:36:06 PM
New projects make good news of good things to happen
Are they all right ?
Or are they all just chanting slogans ?

REALLY!!!  What 's going on ?
If you know a good project ,NAME IT !!!

Today's market condition, it's very hard to name a new project that we can consider as good one. Most of the newly launch project will make sure that everything will be set. Starting from marketing, website, whitepaper, roadmap, team and also the slogan is part of it.

Most of them are just chanting but they are very useful for the project therefore whether you like it or not, a good project or a shit project will have this kind of feature in their project.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping crypto from mass adoption? on: October 13, 2019, 07:55:42 AM
The crypto space is not very noob friendly: bitcoin and blockchain are complex daunting topics; cryptocurrencies themselves are not very user-friendly; and the cryptocurrency space has gathered a bad reputation for being filled with scams. A small mistake sending coins from your wallet can cause you to lose your money and ruin your experience. So, while everyone has heard about blockchain and bitcoin, people are not only unsure how to get started, they are also faced with these high barriers to entry.

TokenTuber’s mission is to lower the barriers to entry to the cryptocurrency space so that mass adoption of cryptocurrencies can be achieved. On TokenTuber you can learn and educate yourself on everything you need within the crypto space. We will hold your hand and guide you on your journey in the crypto world. Not only that, you can also earn your first cryptocurrency and trade it with absolutely no cost.

We are looking for global partners (evangelists) to make this vision become reality!  Feel free reach us via contact@tokentuber.com

Link to our Website: https://www.tokentuber.com
*Whitepaper is available on our website!

Are you looking for additional team members around the globe for marketing purposes as partners? Or you are simply looking for someone who can fund your incoming project as your partner?

The idea is great knowing that not all were able to fully understand how the crypto currencies work and many newbies lost their fund by simply sending their funds to incorrect wallet. I will be looking forward to the launch of your project and I hope that it can really help the inexperience that wants to trade or invest in crypto currencies.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience from day one on: October 13, 2019, 07:07:57 AM
If i am asked to write a story about my crypto accomplishments so far well i don't have any thing to write about except how much i have make, since 2018 i haven't make better money investing in crypto and for months i have invested in crappy projects because at that time i never understand why coins can be demanding, i think its same thing for most newbies too, i started my bounty journey but still nothing, instead every few dollars i made are from airdrops, yes i made reasonable money from airdrops like
-Apollo currency
- Blockstamp
- originalmy
- Data token
E t c, why haven't  my bounty tokens turned money? airdrops quickly get on exchanges and they are tradable but not bounty tokens, tell me whats your experience so far?

There are very few airdrop that you can earn a good amount of money from 2018 up until now. Base on what I observe the common earnings from airdrop will range from 5-100$.

Unlike last 2017 where there are airdrops that I have joined in which I earned 600$ and the other one is 200$ then the rest is below 100$. In bounty, I guess you are just unlucky to have joined shit project because I still able to joined a good project last 2018 until now where I get good amount of compensation also after it was listed in exchange.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coinbase invested in.... on: October 13, 2019, 06:25:16 AM
coinbase invested in rsr coin and it seems to be gaining heat my question is does anyone actually believe coinbase wont do everything they can to get back 10x or more that what they invested rsr coin will probably get listed on coinbase is my guess when idk........but seeing as matic had a 10-22x times run this coin rsr could make that seem like nothing? any thoughts?

Where you get this info? Can you share the link for this info? And rsr is so down now, and only rank 1841.

know this is an old post but still relevant interesting info.

Not just Coinbase Ventures but also Peter Thiel & Sam Altman are invested in Reserve https://reserve.org/investors . Definitely a very bright future for reserve!!

Behind the project are very powerful individuals as they were able to get a bunch of well known partners. There is a big chance that coinbase will do their best to help the project and also the other partners will do the same.

This is what caught my eyes as stated in their mission and I guess this is what makes the project more interesting.
"The Reserve project aims to solve both of these problems with a stable, decentralized currency that can’t be abused by a government because it is globally distributed outside of anyone’s control, and thus nearly impossible to shut down."
1215  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin real money ? - Many say that bitcoin is not money - on: October 13, 2019, 03:17:00 AM
Dominican´s largest bitcoin Company   set up now a marketplace where everyone in the world can buy and sell almost anything ( Houses,Cars,Electronics) with Bitcoin .https://blockchain.com.do
Soon They will launch a new  lending services  for investors who want to  lend their bitcoin or invest in one of their  Bitcoin ATM  and get 24% interest per year.
https://blockchain.com.do
Please share a list of Bitcoin  companies  with physical store like this?

As long as their are demands for bitcoin, it will remain as real money. The same with fiat, if fiat will overtaken by crypto currency in the future there is big possibility that it will be useless and cannot be considered as money. It will be bunch of papers, the same with nations that inflation's are pretty high their money is considered as worthless.

24% interest per year is pretty interesting compare to banks which is only below 5% per year. If it is the largest bitcoin company in Dominican, I am sure they can pull it out. I would be love to know also if there are more physical store that offer like this because as of now, it doesn't exist yet in our country.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 8 Ways to Make Money with Bitcoin in 2020 on: October 13, 2019, 02:23:06 AM
So you want to get your hands on some totally free bitcoin, eh?

In contrast to individuals's knowledge, getting bitcoin is easy, there are a variety of methods to earn bitcoin online- some extra popular than the others

here are several of the most famous ways to earn money with bitcoin Smiley

https://youtu.be/yyYTaZUoMUI

If you have talents like programming, bounty managers, marketing and etc., getting bitcoin is very easy aside from bounty hunting as it is very difficult as this time due to market condition.

Free bitcoins means free money but the opposite side of it is that there is no free in crypto world. You need to work for it even in bounty hunting, you will take months before you can earn.
1217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wait, who owns the market? on: October 13, 2019, 01:47:14 AM
Understand who controls the market you are investing or trading in, and you’ll have an advantage. Bitcoin is a free and open source market. Nobody owns it.

But does anyone control it?

Ask yourself this—

How are Bitcoins created?

Who is incentivised to create Bitcoin?

Between 2013 and the beginning of 2017, big money had been slowly moving in on Bitcoin. They saw its potential as a relatively rare asset and also the mechanism that made it work. Bitcoin is seen as having a value greater than the sum of its parts.

Yes it's a free space, open source market and nobody owns it but for me someone is controlling it like the big exchanges and the big whales out there.

Once the big whales will start it's move, the price will skyrocket in just days or months then bull run will follow as the small investors will follow the flow also. So this is how I saw the market especially the bitcoin being controlled by influential people.

1218  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To 100K$ by 2025 on: October 13, 2019, 01:14:42 AM
My research show BTC can hit 100K$ by 2025, What I noticed is Most people sell Their Bitcoin for 10$ Profit, they dont hold btc and they sell it for 10$ or 20$ profit, these people will never get rich.

That kind of people are trader but if they are not a trader, you are right they will not get rick because they don't have a patient. But if they are a trader, they will surely get rich easily as 10$ profit is already a big profit especially if you are a daily trader.

2025 is 6 years from now so there is a big chance that bitcoin price will hit that price of 100k$. But with my opinion only, 100k$ bitcoin price will be hit before 2025 base on how the bitcoin dominate the other currencies.
1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Concentrate more on the technology and give less attention to price value. on: October 13, 2019, 12:39:30 AM
The Altcoin industry has made the timeframe for ROI so short that everyone now sees it as a quick money making industry or scheme which shouldn't be the case. If you have read the history of bitcoin you would understand it took bitcoin quite sometime to start yielding profits and it too it almost 10 years to record its massive success in regards to price value but yet enthusiast didn't loss hope in the technology and that's what happens when you invest because of the technology and not just for the price gain of the project.

If you're just chasing the price gain when investing in an altcoins you would definitely ended up regretting your investment choice. If our focus were channelled more towards investing in the technology behind a project then scammers wouldn't have had recorded huge success when trying to scam us but since we're more concerned about the price value we easily become preys as the scammers profit from our greediness.

Next time you're interested in investing in an altcoin, consider patronizing a project based on the technology it's developing then give it time. Don't be in a rush to profit as soon as possible unless you're obviously a trader. The timeframe we assign to this projects to develop and deliver is quite small when you compared them to other sector of the investment opportunities. This could be the main reason they're failing to delivery, we're putting more pressure on them. Lets give them more time.

Lets invest more in achievable technology that can add more credibility to the cryptocurrency industry and not just chase price gain.

Most of the people that were gathered here is hoping to gain some profit that they can either use in their daily needs or for their family so you cannot blame them if they are here because of ROI that they can get from investing in any coins/altcoins.

Yes, you have point about how bitcoin price crawl from it's launch until now but if you are an investor losing some investment is only part of it and gaining profit is another part of it. Risk is always there and almost all of us knows that.
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 13, 2019, 12:16:57 AM
An open question to all bounty hunters. What makes you still join the bounty campaigns?

I was the regular bounty hunter in 2017 and early half of the 2018 but once 80% of my joined bounties started to turn scam without paying a penny, I dropped the idea. By looking the current situation, I can conclude that the situation has now worsen and the success rate of bounties is now dropped to further low. So my question is why you still join bounties? Are you getting paid? If yes, then which one gave you best rewards this year? Who is the best manager/s currently in bounty domain?

This 2019 the bounty campaigns who really pays are very rare, so I wait for the right time and check first every bounty campaign that are running. I am not hurrying in joining any campaign.

For the past 6 months. I only joined 2 campaigns and I was paid a minimum reward compared to 2017, there are many reputable managers here but there is no guarantee that their bounty campaigns will 100% succeed so it doesn't matter whether the bounty managers are newbie as long as the project has the potential to succeed.
