1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to do business in Cambodia on: September 01, 2017, 05:30:41 PM
Whatever the benefits are, I will think twice before investing my hard earned money in Cambodia. It is perhaps the most volatile country in the South-east Asian region. And this is the same country where Pol Pot and his Khmer Rogue exterminated some 2 million people, during the 1970s.
1202  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 01, 2017, 05:26:24 PM
Everyone need money and everybody knows that. But money is not above all things. Spiritual belief or faith to God is much important than money to those people believe on Him. For me no.

Religious bodies and places of worship are some of the richest organizations in the world right now. The Catholic church is estimated to possess assets worth over $10 trillion, which is around 125 times the net worth of the top billionaire. What I said is not just applicable to the Catholic church. A lot of the other religious sects are money-minded.
1203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 7000 HOT SEPTEMBER on: September 01, 2017, 05:21:19 PM
When it reach a 7000$ i will cash out a half and get retired!  Tongue If this happen this September or December it doesnt play a role as log we get there....cryptolife forever!

How many BTC do you have? If you have more than BTC300 in your wallet, then you can sell them and retire from your job. $2 million is more than enough to lead a comfortable retired life. But if the amount is lower than that, then it can get risky.
1204  Economy / Economics / Re: Pros and cons of bitcoins for consumers and businessmen on: September 01, 2017, 05:19:15 PM
The pros include ease of storage and divisibility. Also, limited or controlled supply means that Bitcoins are immune to over-supply issues. Also, since Bitcoins are decentralized, the central banks can't mess with that currency. Now coming to the cons, the most important are delays in confirmation time and high fees. Others include extreme volatility and lack of clear legal guidelines.
1205  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: August 30, 2017, 05:38:37 PM
IMO, anyone (including the miners) who is selling the coins right now is committing a grave mistake. But I know that the situation can get really difficult for the miners. They have huge capital cost in the form of mining rigs, and additional cost for electricity and manpower. An ideal solution in my opinion would be to sell 50% of the coins immediately, and to keep the rest in cold storage.
1206  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: August 30, 2017, 05:35:51 PM
Holding of gold and holding of btc both are profitable in the long run. Maybe holding btc actually is better because the price is riszing quickly and highly, the gold price is slow and more stable, but its also valuable since it lose never its value.

Yes, both are very beneficial. If you want to take risks with getting rich in quick time we have to hold bitcoin, but if we do not like taking big risks and want to be more safe, gold is the right choice.

Gold may not be as risky as Bitcoin, but it is also a volatile asset. And there are times, when those who had invested in gold incurred losses. For example, the gold prices had crashed from $1,850 per oz. in 2012, to $1,050 per oz. in 2016.
1207  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: August 30, 2017, 04:51:01 PM
Of course, everyone wants to be rich to ensure a comfortable standard of living. Thanks to bitcoin, you can become one of the rich lucky ones who enjoy a comfortable life.

Those who invested in Bitcoin very early became rich when the exchange rates went up. Examples are guys such as Roger Ver. But now more than 10,000,000 people are using Bitcoin. Not all of them can become rich.
1208  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: August 30, 2017, 04:41:14 PM
I couldn't think of any other asset which gave so much profit so far this year. None of the stocks or real estate investments have given as much ROI as the crypto-currencies. The only thing I could even remotely compare is the dot com boom in the late 1990s when many of the stocks rose by as much as 100x.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 30, 2017, 01:58:42 PM
Nope, for me bitcoin will still the number 1 crypto-currencies in the world, it is already world wide that a lot of people right now are using it and for me, it is hard for bitcoin to replace by another crypto-currencies, bitcoin is already trusted.

The market dominance of Bitcoin is now under serious threat from altcoins such as Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin. Less than 50% of the crypto market cap is now accounted by Bitcoin. So I am not that optimistic about the future.
1210  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice for bitcoin wallet.. on: August 30, 2017, 01:44:56 PM
I am newcomer and very interested about bitcoin. I need a wallet before I am purchase some bitcoin. What is the best and most secure bitcoin wallet?

Your suggestion is very important to me

Will depend on the amount of Bitcoins. If your purchase is above BTC0.50, then I would advice you to buy a hardware wallet, such as Ledger Blue or Trezor. On the other hand, if you are planning to go for a smaller amount, then you can use any of these free wallets. You can use desktop wallets (such as Electrum), mobile wallets (such as Coinomi), or online wallets (such as Blockchain.info). But please don't store your coins in any exchange wallet.
1211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees are too low! on: August 30, 2017, 01:39:28 PM
Have a heart for the poor miners.

edit 20sat/b is way too low.

These "poor" miners are getting BTC12.5 as the block reward right now. They don't need revenues from transactions. When the block reward becomes less than BTC1.00, we can consider rising the fee. Until then, we need to keep the fee low, so that more people will use Bitcoin rather than any of these altcoins.
1212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin thieves ? on: August 30, 2017, 01:36:55 PM
Just follow the simple steps and you will be safe. Make adequate backups for your coins. Use 2FA to protect them against stealing. And always use a gmail account for the 2FA. Because it is difficult for the thieves to hack gmail accounts. And one more thing. Never store your coins in an exchange wallet.
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price Might Exceed $1 Million, More Millionaires in World Than Bitcoins on: August 30, 2017, 01:34:43 PM
I think it is hard for bitcoin to exceed $1 due to many reasons. First of all, bitcoin is not the greatest currency in the world, there are still many cryptos out there which is better and greater than bitcoin. Second, fiat will still exist. As long as fiat is still there, bitcoin can not reach $100000 Wink
you believe in the magic of bitcoin? If so then you need to believe that bitcoin can do anything. Including realizing something that seems impossible to be a reality. It's a miracle that no one else can do. Bitcoin is different, bitcoin has magic in every corner.

Bitcoin has a touch of magic. But it is hard to believe this prediction of $1 million per coin due to multiple reasons. If that happens, then Bitcoin will be having a market cap of $20 trillion, which is ten times more than the current US Dollar valuation.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous coins on: August 29, 2017, 04:08:48 PM
I am surprised that out of the 24 posts, only one had mentioned Byteball, which in my opinion is the only 100% anonymous crypto-currency. Even other coins such as Monero can be traced with some effort.
1215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a threat to BTC??? on: August 29, 2017, 04:00:32 PM
Right now, the major threat for Bitcoin is from Bitcoin Cash and not from any other altcoin. If anyone is having any doubt regarding this, then please check the hash rates of all these coins. And talking about Ethereum, I have a feeling that ETH is an inflated balloon, which can burst at any time.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with strong backers? on: August 29, 2017, 03:57:31 PM
OK... I can give the name of three coins.

Ethereum - A large number of famous developers and investors are backing this coin.
Bitcoin Cash - A number of powerful supporters, including Roger Ver and Jihan Wu.
Ripple - Supported by many of the banking heavyweights.
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Most Undervalued Coin of 2017! on: August 29, 2017, 03:52:19 PM
Two different coins come to my mind. The first one is Litecoin. It has been around for a while and is having a good number of users. And even then, the market cap is just around $3 billion (less than one-tenth of that of Ethereum). The second one is Byteball. It is having a good logic and a nice team of developers behind it. But the exchange rates have been going down for some time now, as a result of the mass dump after the airdrops.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves hold for longterm Good or Not? on: August 29, 2017, 03:49:43 PM
Waves is one of the most promising altcoins out there. It has a steadily growing and loyal user base. But the problem with altcoins is that they are more suitable for short term and medium term investment (unlike Bitcoin). So I would not suggest holding Waves for more than 24 months.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: August 29, 2017, 03:41:37 PM
I would like to say its not common in asia as i live in a country of it.many does not know about it.still it is very unpopular but i hope soon the image will change.

It would be wrong to say that Bitcoin is quite unfamiliar in Asia, when Japan is now the leading market for all the major crypto-currencies. The markets in South Korea, China and Hong Kong are also quite large. The Indian crypto-market is also growing quite rapidly now. Even small nations such as Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Nepal have dedicated teams of crypto-enthusiasts.
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: North Korean Hackers Reportedly Attack Bitcoin Exchange in South Korea on: August 29, 2017, 03:39:14 PM
If it became known that hackers from North Korea that means it is bad hackers. I think that politics intervened. Now those who benefits to accuse North Korea, and those who benefit from another thing blamed Russia. Hackers have no nationality. They attack from anywhere.

We are not talking about the money-minded hackers, who either operate individually or in groups. We are talking about groups of hackers, who are funded by the government agencies. All the major nations have such hacker armies, including Russia, United States, China, and North Korea.
