1221  Economy / Services / Re: Forum posting 20 cents per post reward on: April 11, 2019, 09:07:14 PM
This really worked I registered on the forum and made 10/posts and requested for payment from the admin and in less then five minutes I got 2 bitcoin credited to my bitcoin wallet asap. Hope this continues and will really like to know further about the forum.

2BTC just for 10 post on the forum? are you kidda kidding me of this? just another typographical error? 20 cents per post reward shouldn't produce 2BTC, let me register to get my share of the national cake.
1222  Other / Meta / Re: Thoughts on people that use this forum as income source? on: April 11, 2019, 08:43:49 PM
The choice is yours as a Bitcointalker either to choice to work for money on the forum, or to arm yourself with the knowledge of cryptocurrency. Deliberately i choose the ways of knowledge than the ways of "get quick rich" that many have chosen, OP should advise himself/herself on the side s/he choose to toil on.

Actually, many will stand against me on this; Satoshi aim and purpose for the forum was not meant to be use for paid signature campaign but Bitcoiners has turn it to be a venue for "get quick rich"(in bold). Not disputing anybody who choose to participate on signature campaign but let be realistic, that the first thing should be first, let the purpose of the forum creation be ultimate goal for the Bitcoiners and not the secondary("get quick rich").

Will somebody say my signature campaign has no benefits because is voluntary? or not quality signature campaign? i have choosing the knowledge over the money which is more profitable than the latest scheme of work on the forum ("get quick rick" with signature campaigns). Not too interested on the Satoshi's paid by these Managers to Bounty Hunters.

Reading some amazing tips/comments/suggestion provided by some higher ranked members, even the lower ranked members; get me so emotional about their knowledge of cryptocurrency and just want to be like them; that's all i wanted for now.

1224  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies should focus more on the knowledge of the crypto space on: April 11, 2019, 12:20:04 PM
Most of these commenters above wear pay/paid signature campaign and they are mostly in the lower rank group. Does that mean they have learned all about the forum; before proceeding to participate on pay/paid signature campaign? Although the choice is for everyone to decide and, i personally have chosen to stay away from pay/paid signature campaign because of my sole purpose of be here on the forum, which is to learn from the pioneers on the forum.

My voluntary signature campaign was an inspiration from higher ranked members of the forum who took part in voluntary service rendering of promoting the African bitcointalk community hangout. With these, am very happy with my little knowledge of cryptocurrency which i get from them by reading through their posts and threads all the time on the forum.
1225  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Much Can Someone Realistically Make From Airdrops in 2019? on: April 11, 2019, 11:55:45 AM
I'm looking to make some pocket money and read about Airdrops and there are some sites that list all new airdrops and how to obtain them and was wondering how much can you make in a month?
Is anybody following these Airdrops now and if so can you please tell me how much?
Thanks.

Airdrops are the least i will attempt to participate because that's not my major purpose of be here on the forum. Airdrops with KYC and at the end, end up be scam coin. Have read through the forum and came to understand how the system works, airdrops where valuable during 2017 to early 2018 but now not profitable to Bounty Hunters or Airdroppers.

1226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEWBIE QUESTION : What is ANN Thread? on: April 09, 2019, 08:05:15 PM
Hi,

Appreciate if someone can explain what does it mean by ANN Thread? What does it take to get the ANN?

Thanks

The explanations given above has actually define the actual meaning of ANN Thread, but will like to address the second question.
The only thing it take for you to create your ANN Thread is knowing how to use the forum Text Tools for Text formatting. These were many questions i did ask many months ago and was able to find some answers after some time on the forum. If you intend to render service on the forum you must be able to create your own ANN Thread or to sell a product, also, when you are promoting project on the forum, you need an ANN Thread. Also, some of these thread on the forum were created by little knowledge of HTML.
1227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the new model of fundrising is IEO on: April 09, 2019, 05:22:59 PM
The new model of fundrising which is IEO to me is just another way of scam in the world of cryptocurrency because the same lower exchanges will still press ahead to IEOs. Remembering the ICO days, many of these platforms will never carryout thorough research about the project they intend to promote rather put their self interest in front, undermining the negative side of the investors if the project fail to succeed. Many of these exchanges then promote some project during ICOs and never be listed on good exchange for one reason or the other.

Personally, IEOs will be of more ICOs by tomorrow; but today they will act well, so, let watch out against tomorrow and see how it will go from here.
Imagining some Exchanges without volume participation in IEOs.
1228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Had you ever checked posting date? (Newbie question) on: April 08, 2019, 06:03:14 PM
Thanks @Coolcryptovator for the insight. You have be my inspiration on the forum and will continue to learn from your steps.

This has be mistakes made by many lower ranked members and even some high ranked members, most atime they awake the old thread just to make their post count undermining the disadvantage. This post came to me at the right time and must say, Kudos sir/ma'am.
1229  Economy / Services / Re: Mystery box on: April 08, 2019, 05:44:11 PM

1230  Economy / Services / Re: Buying Souls 1 BTC each on: April 07, 2019, 06:16:41 PM
Can't believe anyone would even consider this.  Even if you don't believe in the afterlife, WHY THE FUCk would you risk selling your soul for peanuts.?

There are still human who are much ready to sell their soul so cheap to the devil. If there's anyone attempting to sell out his/her soul to the devil, i will be happy to buy it back from the pit of hell by double the price paid by the devil to claim the soul back to the maker. Hope that will help?.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Revival is On The Way - According to a trader on: April 02, 2019, 04:28:07 PM

1232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap faking volume on: April 02, 2019, 04:16:22 PM
Don't get it. Can somebody explain to me, if you are given set of data to calculate with, won't your calculations be based on the data provided?, if yes, so be it to coinmarketcap but if no, explain. Coinmarketcap calculations are based on their data extract provided by exchanges and based their judgement on their data. Nothing is be fake here because "garbage in, garbage out". They are not faking volume according to OP.
1233  Other / Meta / Re: Is April 1st a free day to abuse the merit system? on: April 01, 2019, 03:31:24 PM
The abuse of merit system today should be look into by the administrator Theymos because he's the one that created this tension over here; and many forum members have abused the privilege. Don't have issue with the merit system, since we were told that the said merit were scarce but the reverse is the case with this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124304.0 . This means many source merit hold their merit without any reason, Lets give freely because freely you receive.

Suggestion: Theymos should not reverse those merit earn by forum members because it's the advantage of April F**L. Haven good time with Xal0lex.

Current amount of EARNED merit: 108

This is a clear indication that your application will not be entertain by the Manager, so, try again next time when there's an open slot in the campaign.

I do not entertain reservations. Once I announce an open spot I will only look at applications posted after I make that announcement.

1237  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [For Beginners] How to get access on your wallet on new MyEtherwallet new Layout on: March 24, 2019, 03:49:30 PM
For any individual who cannot afford Hardware wallet can as well be able to use the old Myetherwallet layout method to access their coins without any risk of be hack as this give an option for the use of public key and not solely with private key.
I do agree with youa that the old layout is better than the new layout in which the old layout is very easy to use or to interact with it but we should accept that the myetherwallet had new layout that is used. My question is about your statement in the quote above, Is it possible to use the old layout of myetherwallet?. My thought of how it is possible to use the old layout of myetherwallet is that you have downloaded myetherwallet website before for offline mode since myetherwallet said that you can use myetherwallet offline. Am I correct? If not, can you show how to use the old layout of myetherwallet since there is no date shown in the image provided.

Yes, is possible to use the old layout of myetherwallet, which am currently using because of my dislike of the new layout. Absolutely NO!, you don't need to download before use it. Barely looking at the shared image, you could see the URL of myetherwallet, which was your sole responsibility to check out instead of asking for the date on the image. Above is the shared website URL for visibility because that of the image shared could not be see by you.
1238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Merits! on: March 24, 2019, 02:21:04 PM
Hopefully to see myself promoting (ranking up) on this forum based on the article by OP, as I have executed most of the points raised by OP. Few months spent on the forum had been myself reading the forum rules and regulations which has been my guild, this method can also help Newbies like me to rank up. OP has said it all, but hopeful that someone somewhere is watching my post for merits as I continue the learning process to rank up.
1239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Double check your Bitcoin address before click on send button. on: March 24, 2019, 01:38:38 PM
Many complaints on the forum, which are caused by careless or nonchalant altitudes from forum members who are too busy to double check their addresses before they send out their transactions. Many others, are as a result of careless act in exposing their secret credentials to potential hackers.
