801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This forum is much more than just signature campaigns... on: June 03, 2020, 11:03:59 AM
Only for those who see the forum in a bigger picture can't compromise their signature campaign to monetary gains only. With the introduction of the signature campaign, some will either focus on the monetary gains while some will focus on getting knowledge base cryptocurrency from the forum. Personally, I came with the mindset of learning a skill in the industry and today am proud to be one, though wearing a signature, that doesn't distract me from be constructive in airing my opinion on the platform alongside learning new things around the platform. I have always consider here to be more than just monetary achievement.

Target reached?
Maybe yes, the whales just needed some profits and they have it, so, it was reached promptly.
Quote
Did we just see a big dump because the orders are at $10k sell point?
Wrong mate: the price of Bitcoin was pumped to $10400 and not just $10000 at dot. The retraction of Bitcoin price was as a result of sell orders above the $10k.
Quote
I didn't even get a glimpse of the 10k price.
Next time you should be more vigilante when pump again.
Quote
Did it even took 24 hours before it change back to $9.5k?
Huh Probably yes if we're to count from the initial movement circle.

803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin broke 10K wall and Downtrend line on: June 03, 2020, 08:25:21 AM
Bitcoin just prove again that: the right time will come for the proper uptrend of it price and not this  short-term rise. Last night, I thought to sell some of my investment portfolios but wasn't sure of the lost long in the rise, I made close to $400 with some of my portfolio. But still, a friend who wasn't given into my advise wake this morning and was surprised watched the market downtrended in a very short possible time. That's was a bulltrap which I saw from the whalealert strategies but got me some Crookes on the table. Greediness won't allow many traders to have the winners cup this year  Grin
<snip>
A big green candle would really have that exchange of big red one. Manipulation? Possible and its always been like this on each time we do see the market do rise up in a fast phase in a short time.
<snip>

How long should we keep on seeing some sect of individuals called "whales" manipulating the entire market?. Its unfortunate that I don't belong to this sect because I need the profits they too wants. The recent happenings were caused by these sect and people actually lost their profits to them no matter how we paints it that others makes profits. Hacking the cryptocurrency market by this whales will always bring this scenarios back.
804  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is bitcoin not anonymous? on: June 02, 2020, 07:39:48 PM
Basically, the anonymousity of Bitcoin wasn't intended for Satoshi from creation because, there wasn't a provision made for a sole exchange for Bitcoin only which won't request traders information. Yes, there are exchange known as decentralized exchange but the government still clap on them for traders information to curtain the AML. Public keys can can be trace down to a particular trader when he or she convert coins to fiats.

The only are you can get anonymity is: using bitcoin to buy monero and buy back again before getiing your coins into mixers.

806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Small Investors are losing Bitcoin by Investing in Altcoins? on: June 01, 2020, 08:25:30 PM
The reason while many investors loose their Bitcoin to altcoins is their maturity in this space. So many investors think that, using Bitcoin to buy any altcoin that's good looking to expect back a huge reward is foolishness on their part because the link between these two projects at entirely different. Some project look promising and later got investors scammed of their hard earned money. Some of these projects stop half way after getting investors funds and disappear to tinair without a trace. Don't use your Bitcoin foolishly because all the market prices solely depends on the existence of Bitcoin. You can only invest when your are sure of the project success or with good prospect.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it true that now only few bounties scams? on: June 01, 2020, 07:41:16 PM
There used to be a lot of bounty scams and I decided not to post them since August 2019. I was very disappointed to see the bounty in 2019. A few days ago I met one of my friends who said that if there are fewer bounty scams now, is that true?
I now decide to join the signature that I use now

Have you asked you friend about the names of these successful bounties he or she mentioned to you? And who was the bounties manager? Probably this  will help you find your way round this big city called "Bounty City". There are still questions about bounties on this forum and it will be difficult for anyone to answer your question. Scams are been reported on daily basis on this platform due to scamming, also, many bounties conducted from the 2018-2019 even till now can't be seen as successful bounties with 50%. If you're interested in bounties mate, kindly carry-on the bounty and "do your own research"  because you can't speculate the end of any bounty right now as this industry is concern.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future whale wannabe on: June 01, 2020, 07:26:47 PM
Probably you're going to see a bad tunnel at the end of your investment if you don't rethink your option mate. The listed tokens and coins aren't the favourite when we talk about the cryptocurrency market and see how you can make or become their future whale. Although, there are different whales on this industry, maybe you're saying this: am a whale through holding shitcoins for the owners. I don't hold these coins except that of the Ethereum which I bought some few weeks back for some transaction., apart from this, I won't waste my hard earned money to buy into any of these sh**ts.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: June 01, 2020, 07:14:30 PM
There are some coins am still much Happy to hold even though the market isn't moving into the direction I speculated earlier this year 2020. Although despite the outcome of these holdings am proud to say that: the only coins am still holding and will ever hold are; Bitcoin and Ethereum. Nothing worth holding apart from the about e coins in my opinion. Though, my holding was as a result of my believe in them and their prospect in the world of cryptocurrency, hold a good and reputable coins not to regret your holdings in the nearest future.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop wasting your electricity on: May 31, 2020, 04:35:37 PM
I've been sleeping on a false hope for a very long time, I was a fan of new cryptonote coins and I've spend years gathering them, thinking I will be rich one way or the other, I mined coins like

1. Mask Coin
2. Goro Coin
3. Snowflake
4. Recoal
5. Tokl
6. Festival Coin
7. Btor
<snip>

There's a big problem with some investors even with some miners who don't care or careless to check on the coins they're mining if there's a progress with the project or not. Even some investors, checking their wallets for growing coins or tokens aren't their concerns, sometimes, they miss out of the big picture of profits before they check. Thanks for the reminder, hope those wasting their electricity for these shittholse tokens find this and terminate their mining medium. Although, this is the very first time am reading about these set of coins in this space.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will an asset-backed currency or altcoin solved the world economic problems? on: May 31, 2020, 04:20:45 PM
Well, the world economic problems acnt be solve must by any altcoins backed by a currency because the world is dynamic in its economic. We have hard many assets and altcoins backed with difference currency but still nothing good actually came out of them in this regard. We should know that, the world economic problems as at now can't be solve through any digital currency even the Bitcoin itself. The world economic problems will stay with us and can only be solve partially through the use of Digital assets backed by currency with some sort of supply in its demand.
812  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Projec Covid-19: Supply to 50 families in Nigeria outside my community {Update}. on: May 31, 2020, 01:49:39 PM
Cheesy Words are not enough to express my humble self in this regard, you're a good-spirited fellow who cares about the less privilege, you have never care about yourself but cares about the welfare of others, posterity will remember your effort when the whole world was on a standstill and you were there to rescue humanity. Thanks for this opportunity which will further bring the world of Bitcoin closer to the people. Nigerians will ever remain grateful to Bitcointalk.org and your good self.

Nice gesture @boss. So, how do you select and plan to reach out to the 50 families outside your community? Or is it still in your state ?

Geographical location means, outside his community: maybe nearby States.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are afraid on investing to bitcoin? on: May 30, 2020, 10:06:29 PM
Some of my friends aren't interested into investment in Bitcoin because they're impatient when we talk about investment. We'll know how the world of Bitcoin is, for investors, you must be a holder on a long-term and not just buy today and expect the huge profits tomorrow. Bitcoin is good for investment if the funds going into the investment are not needed for use. A  little hold in some satoshi can actually give anyone some good profit in return. Am a trader and a holder at the same time and not afraid to invest into Bitcoin.

815  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you believe that bitcoin will have a stable price in the future? on: May 27, 2020, 05:17:52 PM
That won't happen irrespective of the changes on Bitcoin protocols. Bitcoin with it volatility is not going to have a stable price in the nearest future because of it designs. The price will shift upwards as time fly through the earth due to it limit in supply. The protocol in which this technology  called Bitcoin was founded won't allow stability in it price. What I can see into the future is, the price of Bitcoin will skyrocket to a pont that, the poor won't gain access to the coin except the rich. As the days passes, it demand will be high and it price will be on a higher node without be stable.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think shops should accept bitcoin? on: May 27, 2020, 04:42:30 PM
Bitcoin price goes up and down all the time. If someone buys something costing 10$, the next day it may cost less or more. So it's a risk for the seller.

As you talked about the seller will run at lose; you forget to mentioned the same as the seller will gain double if the price hit a higher node. This is simple, when the seller want to hold for a long-term then should be ready to wait for the appointed time to sell, but if not, the seller can exchange the $10 in Bitcoin to fiats immediately when the transaction is receive. If transaction confirmation is to be talk about, the seller should use LN for the transactions.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: May 27, 2020, 04:23:28 PM
Based on my previous experienced, the holding of tokens shouldn't if the project listed their tokens on an exchange. Some of my tokens are worthless because of my long-term holding of tokens in my wallet as a result of hoping for a bigger price in the future. Sometimes last two years, I bought some good tokens from a reliable project and hold, during their initial list I never wanted to sell because I saw prospect with the project but later realized that I was played while holding. From this experience, I don't invest in new projects and hold their token, rather await dump when they list their token in exchange.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highly disappointed about Olportal on: May 27, 2020, 03:34:36 PM
What disappointment? For them listing in coinsbit should be applaud for them to remember their investors, what about if they never choose to list their coin on any exchange or even at that disappear to tinair? I have always said this time without number, don't take new projects serious at this time because all they ever wanted is our hard earned money and give us shitting coin in return. In my early days in cryptocurrency, I suffered and have long sin e learn my lessons.

Make your investment in Bitcoin or in Ethereum to be save and not just any random f*cking project we'll see exist.
819  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin100 is back and stronger [COVID-19] on: May 27, 2020, 08:18:28 AM
I doubt theymos banned him, as, for what I know, theymos doesn't ban anyone at first sight. Most likely, he is waiting for some time (as we all do), for a proof of ownership from Bruno. And this can't be less than 24h, in my opinion, maybe even more. I believe theymos is giving him (the account) a chance. But if no proof will be provided soon, most likely, the account will be banned or locked.

You should have looked when the said account was logged in last, be rest assure that, Theymos himself got angry with this scenario and probably ban or locked the account to curb further spread of this disease in the community. Giving this account a chance is an encouragement to scammers around the world to hack and extort gullible users in this industry and I believe Theymos won't take such sh**t for a friend. @Bruno is dead and buried.
