If a caliber of this type can dump gold to marry Bitcoin, then who am i?, £20 Billion Asset Manager Ruffer Announces Bitcoin Allocation After Dumping Gold . Although this two investment platform are good but as today, there seem to be more interest on Bitcoin investment than the Gold investment, so, i will prefer to pitch tent with Bitcoin than Gold.

323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin ever be use as other country currency on: December 15, 2020, 04:12:14 PM
Can Bitcoin ever be use as other country currency and it will still maintain it decentralized digital currency?
Personally, i don't see any reason while other countries will choose to make or use Bitcoin as their sole local currency becasue Bitcoin is decentralized, no one has control over it. Basically, no government will ever think about this becasue they all want powers to oppress the people which Bitcoin won't give to any country that accept it as a currency. Moreover, Bitcoin as a payment method can be use by country alongside the country fiat currency and still stand as a decentralized coin.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is my Bank on: December 15, 2020, 03:43:39 PM
You already made a right decision as you were able to survive thanks to your trading skills as not anyone can easily profit in trading especially while starting with a small capital. <snip>
OP made the right choice, though he should be ready to handle Bitcoin volatility becasue this has be one of the most hindrance for those who love Bitcoin, a believe in this technology will surely help in overcoming tough time and decisions with the technology(Bitcoin). I can still remembered the first time i bought some little Bitcoin, few weeks later the price dropped and i was afraid but unfortunately sold my portfolio, with this experienced i was unable to hold Bitcoin until 2018 when i understand the ways of Bitcoin as a technology and as an investment package.

326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 13, 2020, 07:12:11 PM
I think it's more important to know the sport and the teams you're betting on. Especially now with Covid, if you are not aware of the changes every team has gone through, it's very difficult to make a correct prediction. Merely relying on odds to place a bet isn't the correct strategy although it should tell you whether it's worth placing the bet or not.
You are right, knowing the sport and teams during this period of the pandemic matters alot, the recent qualifiers game my country Nigeria played recently made me have a re-think about this recent games, the players were tested of COVID-19 and they turned negative the day before the play and when they re-tested again morning before the play they were positive and that was how we lost out. I won't put odds first in placing bets but the teams players and their crisis internally.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your BTC for $100 000, and never go back to the game again? on: December 13, 2020, 06:24:50 PM
Candidly, i wouldn't accept such offer becasue of the future. We have just started a journey of a new financial revolution which will take the whole wide word into much height in terms of finance. Some of Bitcoin fractions am holding aren't much to sale for profit, so, for anyone to give $100k for the sake of me never to go back to where my passion lies; i will say a big NO, because i believe the future of Bitcoin is very bright and won't trade it for my reason or for any amount.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many old coins are dead and abandoned by the developer, WHY? on: December 13, 2020, 05:48:42 PM
Don't ever invest what you can't afford to lose even if the project looks like it will always be here to stay because we can never tell if the project will survive for long term or short time, the most dangerous projects in crypto world are new projects because the success of crypto is why we keep seeing fresh projects almost every day now
That's one of the best slogan in the industry, "don't invest what you can't afford to lose", this statement have helped thousands in the industry, including me myself. I sometimes blamed and still blaming those investors that can't read project whitepapers before they invest, most of these projects without concrete or legit whitepaper are always found with plagiarism of any sort, and this should have be a clear indication that the project isn't safe for investment. But what we see with investors is: they will push into the project funds they can't afford to lose thereby incurring unnecessary debts when the project fail.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: December 13, 2020, 05:12:37 PM
I don't see blockchain games to be that attractive.
I don't see it either, people are gambling on two things they want to be entertained and they want to win depends on the priority the players, will opted to play in casino with many games like dice slot baccarat poker, something that your site is not offering to their clients, you can get some players who's main goal is just to win money.
At some point, gamblers want to have fun. And his site by any means is far from that. Maybe some will play at the start but in the long run, I don't think they will stick to it. Unless, the owner will innovate their site and offer other games.
Well that's true talk, from forum members requested was that, the casino should ensure to make the game look interesting for gamblers as the current game on the platform doesn't look attractive to gamblers. Personally, the gambling platform interface doesn't look appealing either, as such won't attract gamblers, hope to see more games are be added.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 13, 2020, 04:59:56 PM
To me there is no doubt that the match will be "fixed", as in the result is already decided. Betting on "exhibition fights" like this shouldn't even be possible.
That’s expected since the fight of Manny and Floyd, well I don’t really believe on Floyd because he has a lot of fixed game so bettors must be careful on this one. Anyway, I wish to see a real fight again and not just a fixed boxing game, we deserve to see such excitement again, that only happens to a reputable fighter.
This issue of fixed matches has made me changed my attitude towards BOXING games, i regretted betting on the last recent exhibition fight which Tyson won but game was later turned draw, what a mix priority. This game has been my most favorite game so far but becasue of the recent happenings am bent to change my mind toward the game.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cambodia enacts new laws related to gambling. on: December 13, 2020, 04:49:58 PM
All I know is gambling is illegal in Cambodia but by changing their laws that benefit their gamblers operators, can only mean that they are changing their direction and wants to focus on their tourism and adding more revenues through gambling, many country will implement this kind of laws and they want to take this opporturnity to be a step ahead.
That's the simple truth, Cambodia government will definitely have made this announcement base on their economy dwindling which need s greater support from tourist. This law will surely attract more tourist and gamblers that are much interested in gambling, also, we should not forget that, gambling companies will start entry the Cambodia for this benefit that they will get if they invest or launch gambling platform in the country. Is a golden opportunity to ease out economy hash in the land.
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 12, 2020, 05:20:30 PM
I think it would be around $18-19K before this year ends.
But I do hope that it could be above $20K to set a new ATH and maintain it above $18K+.
Am also in support of the $18k to $19k price point before the year end but this will be determine by the sellers whom might have wire interest on $19k. For anyone to say the year 2020 will end with a high price of $20k maybe that won't be realizable as the market might experience a correction at $19.7k again, so, we should look forward for $18k to $19k.
333  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price increasing slowly. on: December 12, 2020, 05:02:19 PM
I feel like there will be another correction ahead of Christmas, which will keep bitcoin around 18k until the end of the year. although we cannot make history as a benchmark value for bitcoin, but it is mostly true that every big day, the price will go down.
Going by what has happened in the past, you are saying the real truth about a correction ahead of Christmas celebration. We saw whenever the event draw close the cryptocurrency always experienced a huge selling orders from those who want cash for celebration and this often caused correction until the season is gone. Though let wait for the year 2020 to elapse before concluding if the celebration sell off will make the market go dip. The current increase to me won't be sustain becasue of the Christmas event ahead.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cambodia enacts new laws related to gambling. on: December 12, 2020, 04:43:52 PM
It's not the cut in taxes that is a main news but creating a special or specific favoured zone in which gambling will be permitted, this encourage establishment of more gambling establishment and tourist attraction, the gambling tourism is a multi billion dollar industry and they want a slice of it.
Candidly, the 7% is nothing compare to what the government has done in the land, in respect of this news. A reasonable government will put forth the interest of the citizens before self, this is what the government of Cambodia has done, and kudos to the government. Gambling industry are doing wonders in term of revenue generation and a country that sees this will surely overcome the economy crisis looming the world. Believe me, tourist and well recognize gambling industries will start flowing into Cambodia to secure a place for company establishment, my country won't encourage such becasue of her religion attitudes.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: December 12, 2020, 04:28:23 PM
If you really wanted to make a profit you should increase your bet to have a bigger profit but this would result to higher risk if you wanted to stick with low bet you can place bet on some higher odds choices an example in basketball the "Over Time" or the number of yellow cards or red cards something like that.
Though am a fan of big amount bet but this be done on a carefully handling number of bets, mostly i loved picking yellow cards when necessary and this has made me something good in this industry. Sometimes, penalties is what i often look into while making something big for myself, i love chose couple of match, although risky but pays more than expected, than having hundreds of bet in bunch.

337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is much effective than ICO nowadays. on: December 10, 2020, 03:37:02 PM
IEOs are much better compared to the ICO's for different reasons. Here one thing need to be discussed is the profiting. Out of ICO the cryptocurrency users made a big profit, but the same isn't possible with IEO. This is all because of the investment opportunity. Most of the time IEO investment gets limited. So everyone won't be getting the opportunity, only the few with the highest investment ability profit out of it.
This IEO seems to be designed only for those who make big investments so they deserve a big profit, it doesn't seem like this applies to bounty hunters. So there are positive and negative sides to the IEO and it depends on us seeing from which point of view is the best
Point of correction, the bounty hunters sometimes enjoy this huge profit from promoting project on this forum, there are current projects be promoting that are likely to get into the IEO, so, this isn't just for bigger investors only (ie) the IEO. In the past, i did some promotion on this platform that eventually fell into IEO, this project brought me fortunes that am yet to account fully. The truth is: IEO is much far better than the ICO, becasue the IEO get involve with cryptocurrency exchanges.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: December 10, 2020, 03:24:30 PM
Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?
Why getting members into your discord group chat?, that might not be a good move from you becasue your profile has no reputation that would warrant forum members to trust you. There have been recently malicious and phishing links from discord and won't encourage anyone to get into the link with OP. Bitcoin has a big difference between the altcoins and itself history wise, Bitcoin dominance before now was with a wide margin but recently it has reduced because of the recent altcoins pumping. Bitcoin can't be replace with any shitcoin ever.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to DeFi? on: December 10, 2020, 03:16:57 PM
Don't forget in a hurry what happened to ICO generation, the market was over turned by scammers and what we saw or seeing with DEFI's today isn't nothing different from this. Scammers has infested the world of defi and there's nothing anyone can do to savage this happenings, any investment with these defi's projects should be research thoroughly before any investor make investment. At the beginning, i was a victim of these defi scam and have learned my humble lessons.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop by if you are a PayPal user on: December 10, 2020, 03:04:43 PM
Have been using the PayPal account before they integrated their payment method into digital currency, there was thousands of esteem customers with same issues of account blockage, this is part of PayPal itself. For them coming into the crypto-space to start all over again is disguising to my liken, they just wanted the profit from crypto-world but may cause more damage if not check properly. At this juncture, i won't ever attempt buy crypto with PayPal account.
