561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: September 17, 2020, 02:30:19 PM
~ Recently, I saw a potential signal on Binance with CHR but was disappointed after my order as the altcoin get dipper.
This is a mistake. You didn't really trade here, you only followed a signal blindly without understanding whether it has been oversold or overbought. More than 90% of the time, you will get rekt if you follow these trading signals. They prey on gullible followers and subscribers.
You're wrong; I traded there, have  been into trade even with my inexperience skills but yet  made good gains. The said signal was 08-28-14:01:09(bought)  -  09-01-23:21:35 (traded) if you can analyze this better, any available signal at my end must be analyze before any action be taken. This was a pure and clear signal but something happened somewhere; hope am able to figure it out next time. Suggestions has been made here which I will run with this time.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Deadliest Bug in Bitcoin history on: September 17, 2020, 10:11:53 AM
The most devastating Bitcoin bug in history was the 92 billion Bitcoin that was created from out of thin air. This hack was as a result of security flaw that was found and exploited by the anonymous hacker. Going by todays Bitcoin price the hacker should have been swimming with trillions of $dollars and the wealthiest person on earth. This hack was made possible because of a number overflow error. This hack caused pandemonium among Bitcoin community and thanks to Bitcoin enthusiasts who were able to arrest the case without a major damage to Bitcoin.
The hacked 92 billion Bitcoin transactions were all cancelled and the Blockchain was roll back to its pre-hack state. source

The question is, assume this hack went through and transactions successful, will Bitcoin still remain the same as it is now? Considering the fact that, there are only 21million Bitcoin programed to be in circulation.

Below threads depict the zeal’s among Bitcoin community in the recovery of this incident; can’t the same community help in recovery funds whenever there’s major hack in the network?.

563  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: September 17, 2020, 06:40:14 AM
<snip>
Staking is a good idea, but only if you choose the right coin to stake. Some coins use inflationary model where 80% of their supply is released every year or so which makes your coins less and less valuable.
This should be far better for inexperience traders than getting into trade and ruin one own investment within a short period of time. Staking some good altcoins should be the right choice of every inexperience trader while learning the 'rough' game called trade.
Is it not better to get little from staking than risk whole funds in trade?, sincerely, to me is better. Thanks @jackg, like your insight.

565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Don't trade if you're inexperience rather stake your coins. on: September 16, 2020, 08:17:47 PM
Trading cryptocurrencies isn't meant for everyone dude, to me, trading looks like charming stuff but most dangerous to inexperience traders. Recently, I saw a potential signal on Binance with CHR but was disappointed after my order as the altcoin get dipper. I regretted my actions as staking altcoins would have brought me good rewards. Don't trade dudes let start staking our little altcoin stash. Despite our efforts to ensure we make some progress, the industry doesn't give us a chance. As an inexperience trader before now,  how do metamorphosed to become experience in trade?.

Does it mean inexperience traders aren't born to trade?.
566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: September 16, 2020, 07:08:25 PM
Personally, I can't see this happening soon. Bitcoin will have some years development on it network before talk about it high fees or stable fees, though there has been remarkable progress with Lightning Network. As a noobs, couldn't it be that demand will spur higher the fees as we have seen in 2017 and August, 2020?. Am very skeptical about the future of Bitcoin fees if it price hit $100k. Though there are individuals who will pay the fees just to stay anonymous.

What's your take on this new development in my country?
I could see a pressure on the part of the government which i think shouldn't be in this regard. Having a failed state/economy called for urgent steps to revitalize the country economy but this is not a way out. They (the government) want to ensure the naira measures up among other currencies, could this be a way out?. They told us not to associate and then want to take full control: they're planing something big for the commoners. The word 'traders' include me and you even OP himself, the government have now succeeded the continuity exploitation of her citizens. Our freedom is astake!.

Edit:
Kindly read this tweet: barely few days of acceptance.

The regulation also extends to individual traders who are involved in blockchain related and digital assets services. Moving on traders are expected to be registered with the SEC and face regulation on their transactions like other securities (stocks and bonds)

Get ready because many cryptocurrency platforms without much financial energy will fold up, the executives orders will start flowing from oga at de top to small small platforms.

Also note: fraudulent activities in the government will take an increase; there's no much hope as I presume.

With this ruling, all crypto platforms would be required by law to register with the SEC for regulation and it is expected that they would be taxed accordingly.

Get ready for double taxation!. Cry
568  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: fortunejack withdarwal delay on: September 13, 2020, 04:12:28 PM
well my account is fully verified and i deposited 1btc and won 4 btc so kinda worried...i  will update u guys tomorrow if i dont get any replay
In your OP you deposited 1bitcoin and won 2.4bitcoin then made a withdrawal of 1.4bitcoin but here you're contradicting your OP IMHO.

Being that you have been playing here(fortune jack gambling casino) you should understand that you're to be patient with the casino as your withdrawal will be taking care of. Fortune jack gambling casino has been here for long and gain reputation which they don't want to rubbish, so, calm down as they get across to you in due time.
569  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful when you play games with your coins! on: September 13, 2020, 03:42:46 PM
I think we need a good strategy to play .I think we need play through our strategy and if we forget to do it we can loose our valuable coins ,It is more tough to gamble more than crypto trading .i know its always profit and loss here but we need more strict on our strategy .
Good strategy you say! Nope, playing with good strategy without luck winning can't be achieve in gambling. Thousands of strategies have been in existence from ancient time and new ones but none has proven as sure win for gamblers. I do advise gamblers not to gamble their coins as gambling don't work on the principle of strategies: gamble with fun = "gamble with what you can afford to let go". Conclusively, don't gamble for profit but for fun(in respective of strategies or not).
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 12, 2020, 08:03:20 AM
I don't agree that all entertainment things must have an external limiting feature. You can trust in external limiting features that will
learn what is good and bad for you, you need to learn that for yourself. You need to have a self-control, ability to manage your emotions,
your actions, you can't expect from others to live your life and to help you to not make a mistake, it's all on you!
That's true, there's no way we can trust the external limits features if implemented on gambling casinos, even at that; with the use of VPN these features could be override easily. Basically the self-defense which gamblers can use is self-control which is a major tool for this rather than external limit feature. If at the moment restrictions doesn't work well with online gambling casinos how much more can external limit feature work If VPN is available?. Every gambler should be left to his or her own fate.
571  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: African bitcointalk community hangout on: September 12, 2020, 07:11:59 AM
Me kum-kuma dey use Trust wallet so I dey stake for dere.
Abeg, which other app (apart from Trust Wallet) persin fit take do staking? I dey interested but na the duration of the lockdown of tokens they always discourage me from involving myself.
Na trust wallet and Binance na me dey use but some others still dey like dis ones: Crypto apps that allow staking of coins , although me I neva use dem before except de two wey I mentioned above(Binance and Trust wallet). For me oooo, waitin I dey use na em I trust, so, use wit caution if u won use anyone among dem.
572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best trading platform for beginners? on: September 11, 2020, 01:17:38 PM
Hitbtc exchange is the best for noobs, this has been my favourite among the listed cryptocurrencies exchange. Trading involves mostly altcoins which are available on Hitbtc but other exchanges listed above are good but won't be easy for those beginners as many of the newly altcoins might not be available for trade. We'll know that, listing on binance exchange is more like hell to some good and sound project but Hitbtc is one of the cheapest to list, so, is the best for noobs.
573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your trading strategy? on: September 11, 2020, 12:01:33 PM
Trades strategies don't actually work for low market Shakers but big whales. Haven been into trade but can't find a successful strategy for a long-term, so, personally I choose my own strategy for trade which is: buy low and sell when it high. The dip is the best place to buy cryptocurrency, if you're not among the market Shakers follow my strategy.
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful when you play games with your coins! on: September 11, 2020, 09:35:51 AM
Absolutely, except discipline those who earn coins from the forum won't gamble on limit. Setting limit while gamble will always help in minimizing casualties, many tend to.forget how hard it was for them to earn that SATs but will bet it away within some seconds: wake-up dude. Carefully play while put into consideration how hard it was when you earned your coins will definitely bring discipline to us(gamblers). OP just reminded me of my past experience, I used to gambled my ethereum coins away back in 2018.
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 11, 2020, 08:59:46 AM
Just when am happy while gambling and unfortunately loss in the process my mood for that day will definitely change. Gambling with fun and accomplish with win is the greatest achievement anyone can get from gambling. My gambling with win give me unexplainable experience at the end of the games, personally, whenever I loss while gambling I don't have joy as when I win in the gamble.

577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable days of holding bitcoin percentage (98.5%) on: September 10, 2020, 03:00:51 PM
Holding is profitable if you buy it at the right time.
<snip>
That's the point, there's no point buy when the price was up and expect to hold for a long-term when the price drop. Many that bought way back in 2017 and still holding aren't doing the right thing, sell even at loss to re-buy back and await profit. Purchase any coins at the right time still remains the best, though accept defeat to rebuy back is a good strategy. Bitcoin will make some good historical moments which any holders at any stage will make profit.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Are Trying To Break Into This Bitcoin Wallet Holding $690 Million on: September 10, 2020, 02:42:40 PM
There must always be ongoing attempts to break into very rich Bitcoin wallets.
And the message to them is: let them try harder because it's nearly impossible for any machine to break Bitcoin wallet. Sometimes when the issue of breaking into wallet arise many get negative vibes, the quantum computers to my understanding can take years before this can be a reality(if only Satoshi allows it to happen). Those algorithms aren't just what can break without a heavy price paid, like what can be done before a transaction can be reverse(connect all nodes). Maybe this can be actualize when all Bitcoin might have been mined IMO.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government aid being scammed. If the same had happened through bitcoin? on: September 10, 2020, 02:22:22 PM
Knowing fully well that bitcoin transactions are irreversible mean that, the funds can't be reverse as the government has done in this case(reversed the fiats). But be clear that, such a mistake can't happen with bitcoin because everyone of these farmers will have a unique wallet address which shows digital currency supremacy over the fiats. Though, bitcoin as an evolving technology can Still develope on this aspect which the world need it operate(reversible transactions made possible).

De altcoins still dey down and dis is de time to get into staking, staking can earn u many many profit wey trading cannot give except dose wey sarbi well-well. So, if u never dey gud in trading abeg make u shift ur yash to staking of altcoins now.

Here are some few altcoins wey fit give gud profit in short-term: "KAVA 5.08% TRON 0.74%, ATOM 7.39%, TEZOS 6.09%" among others, why I chose dose ones bi sey, dey cheap for market now nd na opportunity for anybody to buy dem for staking. Me kum-kuma dey use Trust wallet so I dey stake for dere.
