441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halloween inspired poll –would your Bitcoins get passed on if you suddenly died? on: October 31, 2020, 11:57:14 AM
Yeah, i was introduced into this industry by my spouse and nothing won't stop my family gain access to my wealth when am no more. This question came when there is need to understand the importance of leaving behind legacy to our families while we go beyond the shore of this world. Most of my phrases and private keys are stored in a safe place[box] which my spouse has access to, this made it sure for them to get ride on whatsoever i may have left behind when the roll be call. God keep our spouse to be obedient not to experience heartbreaks or divorce from them.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If btc > $150k, will you still gamble it? on: October 31, 2020, 11:36:54 AM
If Bitcoin price reaches 150k dollars, I don't think that I will continue to bet. I have enough Bitcoin to be rich in a situation like that. I wouldn't need to bet anymore.
Really?Huh, what about the fun?, the entertainments nko?. Come-on mate, gambling isn't for what we get from it but the ease it brought to us while we gamble. I will continue gambling with Bitcoin even when the price of Bitcoin stack beyond $150k, becasue it's a means to relax my nerves and to lighting up my day when depress. My most wanted in gambling is the fun and entertainment therein and not what i will get from it as per finance[profit].
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: October 31, 2020, 11:26:28 AM
High fee you said? of-course i will ever go ahead to make any deposit irrespective of the fees. The bottom line is: will this gambling [bet] give the needed profits for the fee?, if yes, then am in already.

This scenario has happened to me sometime early this year, i friend set me a good bet in one of the oldest gambling platform here and ensured i bet it for win but merely looked at the bet i find some good opportunity for my win, so, i went ahead despite the fee and with all the risk to bet the games and i won at-last. High fee shouldn't stop anyone if the games are sure for a win.

The updated price you see may be much higher than a price that just expired.
Grin, a scammer will remain a scammer no matter the repentance; if not genuine, hope users see a lower price when make their purchase on their platform becasue this will make more users get involve. Though, i won't be surprise if it don't and 'if it don't', then, more experienced users will be left with the option of exit to be left only with newbies on their platform.

In all these: the importance of this news is the adoption among a huge numbers of investors who have been on their platforms for ages. Hope PayPal don't screw-up this excitement with their bogus TOS.
445  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin us used mostly where? on: October 31, 2020, 10:15:08 AM
where is the bitcoin mostly used after speculation on the markets?
Speculations in the market get Bitcoin into two phase [1] attempt from the whales to get coins from the weak-hands for their gains and [2] getting their stash pass on-to newborn investors for gains. The two are all speculations among inhabitant of this technology and it's a tool for loss/gain purposes.

what is the area of economics that dont work without bitcoin ?
With my elementary knowledge in economics, the principles that work with Bitcoin are those that equally work for our real-world[fiats]. So, no area of economics that don't work with Bitcoin, except the principles of total supply which doesn't work with fiats and privacy IMO.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Algeria must use bitcoin on: October 31, 2020, 09:58:24 AM
This is good news for all of us, you are going to ask the government to use bitcoin. I hope people in this forum help you in developing projects in Algeria. is bitcoin banned in Algeria or not? does Algeria have a bitcoin exchange?
It is a good thing if bitcoin is better known throughout the world including Algeria, of course this will be positive news because each country has a large population so this can add to the development of bitcoin in a day, hopefully this will happen quickly.
Good initiative from the good people of Algerians, but my question is: what about their banned of Bitcoin some years ago? have they reconsider the technology to accommodate it usefulness?. This is a good one from Africa Country again like the Nigeria who adopt the said Bitcoin recently. This technology will go a long way to help the African Countries free from the slave masters who have dominated us through these years. The freedom Bitcoin gave should be well appreciated by the underdeveloped countries.

For support, the project should be in-line with transparency and team professionalism before make request for such in this community, the community will be happy to get involve when there's absolute professionalism and project transparency.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not needed but only for investment purposes on: October 31, 2020, 09:41:28 AM
For anyone who need total freedom from the world of the oppressor will totally need the Bitcoin which is decentralized in nature. Bitcoin is needed by all irrespective of the individuals involve, Bitcoin as a currency need understanding and those who understand the technology can either choose to use it for investment purpose of for holding. Also, Bitcoin can be use for online purchases; these made it more convenient for internet users. Personally, i used Bitcoin for two purpose: for investment (including gambling) and for online purchases.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 03:29:38 PM
That's seriously bad news, back in August this year the government banned this illegal gambling in Filipino and some scrupulous individuals took this as advantage to illegally organize a cockfight which has brought to an end the life of a gallant officer. I wouldn't blame the officers but those whom derive pleasure in going against what the government banned. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A letter to our dear developers on: October 29, 2020, 12:13:09 PM
Dear new developers

I've developed a habit against projects and exchanges today, if your project is not listed on top exchanges I'm not investing,
Waoo!, those top exchnages do scam investor through their listing bruh, haven't you heard from those exchanges about de-listing coins from their platforms? don't be carried away with their names becasue they will reek you down.

Quote
aiming for top exchanges had some credibility to yourself and your dear project, even if I'm stupid binance exchange isn't stupid enough to list crappy tokens or coins,

Binance exchange usually list crappy projects on their platform even other big cryptocurrency exchanges. Getting your projects with these top exchanges doesn't change the fact that, your project is a crap. Don't ever think be on their platforms guarantee your investment with them. #DEFI projects listed on Binance exchnage got investors funds drained recently.

Quote
we work hard for our money so please work hard to get listed on top exchanges to confuse people like myself to invest on your project,
Please trend carefully with this statement becasue "not all gold are glitter", these crypto exchanges do list some projects just to scam investors, do your own research before make your investment than just depends on exchnage listings.

Quote
I don't want to hear oh it too costly to list on top exchanges, if you can't make that happen they you shouldn't develop any crypto project.

Thank you
No!. Idea is that which drive the projects and not their finances; even though finance is as important as the project. The project case use and it solution to humanity should be developers concerns and not how to sort for funds to get listing from top exchnage.
450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin cross $15k in end of 2020 on: October 29, 2020, 11:46:51 AM
I think yes because of recent news of bitcoin that paypal except bitcoin...
What's your opinion
Basically, the current handwriting's on the wall by Bitcoin shows that it price at the end of this year can surpass the aforementioned price above, becasue the last time Bitcoin hit all time high this year was almost at $14k. The good news coming into the technology can make anyone predict the price of Bitcoin to be more pretty high than before, PayPal accepting the buy and sell of Bitcoin is a plus which will get Bitcoin a good bullish thread before and after the year end.
451  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price now and something interesting on: October 29, 2020, 11:41:01 AM
It is too early to talk about 20K... Bitcoin could not break the resistance on 14K... And now we see the price correction...
If the price can rise above 14K, then we can think about reaching the past ATH... Wink
Absolutely agreed, currently the correction Bitcoin is undergo is what could lead the present market to a bullish momentum becasue the price of Bitcoin is expected to hit above the $14k before talking about all time high again. For some to talk about the last weeks and days to be a bullish run doesn't make it bullish but just experience what we had sometime in 2019 ATH. There is high chances for the current market to get us the needed $20k before the end of 2020 i presume.
452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Constructive Financial Advice Needed on: October 29, 2020, 11:04:01 AM
Possibly if you're looking for a long-term investment package then Bitcoin will be the best for your type, though some members disagreed with this because of the afct that, Bitcoin look volatile. The volatility of Bitcoin in my own view is, for short-term it should be discourage among new investors in the industry because of unforeseen circumstances. Although am not a financial advisor but with my little knowledge about Bitcoin investment, i suggested for more research.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 28, 2020, 08:12:15 PM
The truth is, when I am playing online on gambling sites, I don't check if the site is registered or something or have a License. As long as I know that a gambling site is trusted then I will not be afraid of putting my BTC on that gambling site, but for those who have online gambling site then I think it's a must.
That's exactly what I have registered here before now because, anyone in the gambling industry can get license within a short Period of time and still engage in scam, so, i don't quite border around platforms licensed. But what I anxiously believed and always craved to check before gambling in any platform is it reputation. Those gambling platforms I have used before now are with good reputation and I enjoyed their usage.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multi bets vs single bets on: October 28, 2020, 07:58:34 PM
Preferably, I prefer single bets than the multiple bets, single bets with good research will yield more wins because of the odds that are likely to be. The multiple bets sometimes are not good because one odd from the multiple game can render one efforts useless. Most of my bets are done on a single bet and have been yielding good result than the multiple bets and it disadvantages.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 28, 2020, 07:45:24 PM
Personally, I don't usually used Bitcoin for gambling because i prefer using the altcoins for their low fees. But the use of Bitcoin for gambling to me is not good as you tend to pay higher in fees. Most of my coins for gambling are majorly altcoins which help me minimize fees, I see those gamblers using Bitcoin to gamble aren't doing any good to their gamble.
456  Other / Politics & Society / Re: They kill us at nights and sympathize with us by day on: October 25, 2020, 05:23:56 PM
If you use bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, then you are a criminal to Nigeria SARS
It's so bad that this agents of the so called special anti-robbery squad also have their own Bitcoin wallets, there have been numerous occasions when they stopped young men, went through their phones/devices and found btc wallets such as electrum or other types and forcefully transferred btc to their own wallets, it's that terrible here in Nigeria and the government have done nothing about this for so long, that's why the protests is as heated as it is now and heading to a revolution the way things are moving.
That is not all, only Nigeria SARS take along with them POS they use to collect money from people. They do follow people to ATM machine location before and still often, but they later deploying better ways to make it easier and resorting to POS payment. Nigerian SARS are indeed devil, even if not worse than devil.
Cheesy let not forget there are still good eggs among them, with the few bad eggs that caused this havoc on her citizens shouldn't be generalize IMO. There are good GALS among the formal disbanded SARS, those individuals actually are few which some are personally known to me becasue i once work with them. What i see was underfunded Police arm which primary duty is for the protection and safety of her citizen, they tend to carter for themselves and in doing this innocent citizens payed dearly.

It might interest you to know some hidden facts about serving police officers still engage into some evil. There salaries are nothing to write home about, those serving officers sometimes find it difficult to get their pay like other paramilitary because of their funding. The retirees in the police force are the worst hit bro, a retired CP (commissioner of Police)  after retirement find it difficult to live because of pension, the government of the past did some dastard act to these retirees, they diverted their retirements benefits to other section of the government in 2011/2012. Now, if the high rank officer after retirement find it hard to cater for their families, then, what do you think about the intention of the serving officers? they will definitely find other alternative of surviving, am not in support of their actions though.

The demobbed soldiers after the civil war are not left out, most of their cases are still pending with the PTAD while some can't find their way out of the darkness created by our government, these are individuals that served the country wholeheartedly but paid in bad coins, until the government release funds in their confer that belong to these retirees; believe me bro, things will still be negative after this reform. Remember this: those retirees children's are still those serving the country and they have seen what happened to their parents.
457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: October 25, 2020, 04:18:59 PM
The havoc the pandemic caused our various government could be the reason behind this move from country like the UK among others, this is essential as they find it difficult to sustain their revenue generation. For any government to continue with their activities financially, it is imperative for them to look beyond the traditional scope, this might be reason they tends to shift towards online gambling for revenue generation which call for urgent regulation. The benefits we will get from this act will be more positive than negative IMO. Scammers wont be easily found among the online gambling platforms becasue of government regulations which will protect the right of the players.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really use alts for the purpose they're supposedly created for? on: October 24, 2020, 10:37:34 AM
Not at all, those altcoins i have ever hold are mainly for the purpose of profit and not for the purpose they are meant for. Most of these altcoins do not have case use or not made for a specific purpose, so, for anyone to pick on them for profit taking should be the very best. In actual sense, things should have been done otherwise if we want the progress and the actualization of a global adoption in the industry. No altcoin actually meet the requirement of what they're meant and created for.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just a Question... on: October 24, 2020, 07:49:01 AM
Another possible reason would probably be the fact that Telegram are associated often with previous scams. They knew that there are high tendencies for prospective customers to avoid visiting it due to the bad impression. Its image are already tarnished thus promoters find a better and cleaner place (which is Discord in this case) to promote their platform. I might be wrong tho, but if you will ask me I can feel such thing somehow Cheesy.
You have a point, the scam associated with telegram made it not be use by most gambling companies, we all know what is going on with that social media, a place where anyone can be impersonated without action on the part of the social media. Discord is known with it decent environment and with less scam becasue scammers has already infiltrated the social media too. Discord is more well organize than that of telegram IMO.

49. A British gambler sold all of his possessions, including all of his clothes, and bet $135,300 on red for a single spin of a roulette wheel in Las Vegas and won. Source
Really? That is a full risk, betting all of your money including your clothes is bad if you don't win it because you will end up nothing, I wonder how he was able to decide to bet all his money, luckily he won the roulette, he has the good confident about the betting. I don't see myself doing that thing because I am afraid to risk all of my money. I don't want to invest it without any good assurance that I can bring back my money but unfortunately, we don't have that assurance for every investment and gambling we have, all came from taking a risk.
Don't forget that risk is part of our living, those without risk are sure failures in the society. Whatsoever we do apart from the investment platforms are made possible becasue risk is involve, so, taking risk should be part of everybody, though this depends or varies on individuals. Gambling is one of the most riskiest platform which need care and self-control if anyone want to benefit from the luck that come with it. I think we must learn to take risk base on our capacity to avoid depression.
