1041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: February 06, 2020, 02:48:15 PM
I don't agree with you on the ground that apart from Bitcoin all others are shitcoin. In as much as I strongly believe in Bitcoin I also do believe in coin like ethereum and I don't think it will right for anyone to refer to ethereum as a shitcoin. Although, you were not specific about ethereum.

Practically, you are right because today's market has an answer to this. There are many surge and the most are from the altcoins that we never believed to be called coins. Trading has made me to adopt a method that has potential to handle risk, I mean potential risk. Whenever I trade with altcoins, I usually pick my profit at 2-4%. This is how I possibly minimize my risk.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 6 BEST WALLETS TO STORE YOUR ERC-20 on: February 06, 2020, 10:10:33 AM
Coinomi and trust are the best here, why metamask? its an browser extension that's very risky for storing your Ethereum and tokens, there are other better wallets out there than metamask, bread wallet, jaxx wallet etc

The first wallet you mentioned above is shit wallet. March, 2019 my blossom friend loose almost the sum of $2,000 because she's a fund manager, this happened when she deposited the said amount and of a sudden she wasn't able to access her fund. Their security build up are very poor considering wallet like true wallet and others with good security. They send your information to a third party servers and thereby exposing your secret passphrase among others to a third party on a plain text without encryption.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins Should Be Watched Closely in 2020 on: February 06, 2020, 06:17:58 AM
The altcoin I should be watching right now is Ethereum because of their upcoming upgrade that's almost here. Have been a fan of ethereum and an investor. Ethereum will move beyond cryptocurrency enthusiasts imaginations because of their upcoming upgrade, holding their coins will give a shocker when its time to rock the May, 2020 stuff.

Mean while, this is not an investment advise to those who may choose to invest their funds on Ethereum. Invest what you can afford to lose.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Was Ripple the cause of this bullish trend? What do you think? on: February 05, 2020, 10:58:02 PM
Ripple had been on the news before this bullish threads started coming into the crypto market, this make me Wonder, if Ripple is the sole cause of this bullish threads we have seen form January to February, 2020. Also, recently Ripple had announced their partner; "Intermex, which will leverage RippleNet – a network of institutional payment providers using Ripple's several payments solutions – to develop "faster, transparent cross-border remittance services" between the U.S. and Mexico."

1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] I was scammed on Youtube. What to do? on: February 05, 2020, 09:59:29 PM
It was obvious that you and many others fell for this scammer or group scammers that carried out this dastardly act. This has been a known scam but with some high level of professionalism included, nevertheless, next time you should be able to do more research about such things before you embark on transaction with the person online.

Frankly speaking, this will create more awareness among others who may or might be planing for such like you. Internet has no free money, more also, does it has second chance when the mistakes have been made.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no highland of knowledge on: February 05, 2020, 05:40:45 PM
It is easy to lose money as an ordinary person when investment is encrypted. If you cannot restrain your greed, you will lose money in the end. Buying low and selling high is not something anyone can do. Most people lose money speculating in the market.

Basically many have no technical knowledge but can buy and sell base, so, buy low and sell high doesn't need more or highland knowledge to carryout. Speculation can be a different thing in this context because, those who speculate are mostly the whales and this is done when they intend to moop up the market with the low buy mentality. Actually, many have loss to this tactics and have learnt their lessons.

I would say that; highland knowledge is needed in the core building of the Blockchain the technology. Programming knowledge is highly required when going into the Blockchain development and the creation of wallets
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: February 05, 2020, 02:52:49 PM
According to  their recent development around their network, one could easily agree with the speculation around Ripple. Companies have engage in their services and, maybe, the pump will be visible which may pump the said coin to $14. Base on what is currently happening, Ripple may sureg beyond what they'd speculate.

Although, the speculation seems impossible for Ripple to pump to such level but, believe me that; it may break another new record for other altcoins.
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum versus EOS January, 2020 on: February 03, 2020, 10:57:46 PM
Probably many cryptocurrencies enthusiast have seen the competive mood this two altcoins have engaged into. Ethereum is currently hosting about 2,746 dAppsve while the next nearest competitor, EOS, is currently hosting 320 dApps. Last month EOS out performed Ethereum on transaction volume inrespective of this few Dapps on the Network. Hope to see EOS taking the place of Ethereum and solving the issues it's yet to solve.

Do you have any contrary view? Kindly share for learning purpose.

1049  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if you want to read bitcoin and other crypto news here are the sites to go on: January 21, 2020, 03:13:09 PM
Well said but, as a low rank when growing up on this forum; I have read many of these provided links for Bitcoin news but haven't seen and read something refreshing than here: Bitcointalk. org

Information contains in this forum are superb than any other site news because, things started from here before broadcasted. Although, visiting other sites may help but not in all cases, as many of these bitcoin news site are particularly made to spread FUD among investors.

Growing up as a newbie was made hard because of some news site created to distort potential investors in the community. The image of Bitcoin wasn't clear to me until I take into cognisance the information that were posted and shared here. Most of my knowledge about the technology were acquired from this forum; personally, I will encourage the upcoming bitcoiners to be mindful of the information share on this platform, they are first hand information and not contradictory.

1051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best methods for sending BTC with low fees? on: January 19, 2020, 11:28:29 AM
<~~~~>

there is also a step 0 to this that sometimes some beginners mess up.
0. don't accumulate dust in your wallet.
"dust" is the small transaction outputs, or in simple terms it is the small payments that you receive from different places like faucets, micro jobs,... not only it is a waste of time but also when it is time to spend all those coins the resulting transaction size will be huge and require a much higher fee.

Few days ago I made some transaction from my electrum wallet and a response was "Transaction could not be broadcast due to dust output", until today I haven't understand the disadvantage. Thanks for the explanation.

1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: November 10, 2019, 04:32:01 PM
To get reasonable rewards from bounties just make sure you follow high rated managers, they carefully select the bounties they manage, the example of a high rated bounty manager is Arteezy, i followed most of his bounties and they are good

Actually, I attest to the fact that he's good in selecting projects he promote but not all went successful. Although manynif his project I participated went through accept some very few projects which were based on the side of the team.

Till date am still hoping to see another year of bull run because I wasn't here or on the cryptocurrency sphere when the bull run happened. Hope we have good projects to promote even though they are very few, than having millions without any tangible rewards.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: November 10, 2019, 02:20:07 PM
Based on technical analysis from experts, we may not see an altcoin season this year. If you are still holding them, you may have to hodl a little longer.

That was a good analysis because till date we hope to see another altcoins season but haven't. Although we all waited for the season to come in 2019, hope we still holding some altcoins portfolios will be able to stayonger than expected till 2020. Hope the genuinely altcoins projects be found in the coming years. Scammed projects have really distorted the progressive will of altcoins.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: November 07, 2019, 06:21:17 PM
Solid portfolio has a quick bounce back unlike deficient portfolios which takes forever to bounce back. Every cryptocurrency enthusiasts needs to learn this and build themselves solid portfolio with solid projects for the very long term.
You are right, many have been victims of improper portfolios in regard to cryptocurrency, they always lack the needed capacity to research into a project to found out how good or shady the projects are. Before I invest into any coin or token, research into such project is always my priority before investing my savings.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto? on: November 06, 2019, 08:34:41 PM
Wholeheartedly am doing this business with my husband and he knows my wallet and password to my social media because life is very short. Although, many of these business have some good layer of security  that; sometimes the consent of the two parties will be require for access to access funds.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice! on: October 31, 2019, 03:15:17 PM
I will advice you not to invest into this project because they are likely not to be genuine. Their ANN thread will speak more better than I do and some few members on thus forum. If you insists to invest with them, please invest what you can afford to loose. Please read carefully this thread and be cautions of the type of project you choose to invest.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: October 31, 2019, 12:29:30 PM
It sadden my heart whenever I see some good and reputable platforms promoting scam projects, they have never  care to scrutinize the project before advertising them, a just because they are paid for promotion they can promote the project to the world. ..........

If it sadden your heart as you have said, can you be 100% sure that, your current promotion on this forum is legit? Is it free of scam ? How are you sure you are not promoting a scam project? Basically am not surprise with many comments on this thread because they are ignorant of what they promote.
