1221  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: May 06, 2017, 02:23:34 PM
It is possible to hack any websites or in particular gambling website. After all it is the human who has created all these things so their might be one mistake(bug) that you may notice but others cant. There is a term called Social Engineering this is all about collecting information from different living sources of the target , if the site cannot be hacked by the remote access. It is all the game of knowledge.

Protecting your passwords from those hackers is not easy but we have to be careful and should take proper care while setting your passwords in gambling sites and other personal websites. I have seen that many websites just store our passwords in plain text and that will be a gold for hackers.
1222  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 1BTC to spent in trading what coins will you invest on: May 05, 2017, 04:57:13 PM
If I had 1 BTC then first rule I would make for myself is not to sell 0.5BTC at any time. 0.5BTC is long term holding. Then I would buy LTC, Stratis and Quantum, all for long terms and would trade occasionally if the rate is fluctuating.
1223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2017, 04:51:31 PM

You are right, bitcoin transactions fees are very low. So this is one of a lot of reasons that people use bitcoin. Also when we talk about price, bitcoin is more than currency which it have an awesome price, of course people would use it again and again.

Bitcoin is growing in popularity as investors and people who do business in the bitcoin world grow. Bitcoin is more than just a digital currency, and bitcoin is not regulated or controlled by one institution or country.

Decentralized, is the best thing about Bitcoin. No one will control the value of Btc rather it will be derived from the users and the transactions. So there are allot of reasons why people should use BTC than fiat but very less reasons not to use.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: May 05, 2017, 04:33:46 PM
I sent more BTC than I wanted to the address for the pre-sale, I forgot to add another "0".

Can I get part of my deposit back?

It was an honest mistake

Just message them on their support. I don't have any idea if it is refundable since it doesn't happen to me. If it just a unintentional mistake then maybe they could consider. Is there an extra when they return it to you? Because I'm not familiar when it comes to refunding the mistakes on sending bitcoins.

I dont think it is refundable. But if you have send a message to the owners then let us know about the process happened if you got the money back. Because it will be a tutorial for new users and others to do when any mistakes happen like happened with you.
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is DYING, LONG LIVE THE NEW KING LTC on: May 05, 2017, 03:21:58 PM
Your comparison is invalid – you can't simply replace Bitcoin with Litecoin due to a simple rise in price. Always remember what experienced traders say, "An alternative coin can easily go from $10 to $20 rather than $100 to $200." The more the price rises, the harder it gets for it to rise again.

I was thinking the same thing. Now with Eth at 100 and Dash at 100 is there really anyway for them to get higher than that? LTC will probably hit 100 as well then just sit there. Who knows where this market is going. I hope that all coins go to 100 lol. Because I'm not holding Eth or Dash but I do have some LTC. Moooooon!

Most definitely, Going from 1200$ to 1500$ is allot difficult than raising from 5$ to 20$ or 25$. People should understand this, it will get difficult to increase as the price above the sky. I dont think LTC will ever reach the heights which BTC has touched.
1226  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: localbitcoin is it safe? on: May 05, 2017, 03:07:11 PM
Localbitcoins is  safe and sequre also. I used it an a escrow service. I am using it about 1 years.

Even after 4 years, localbitcoin is a very good service provider with respect to BTC and altcoins. You can use Escrow service if you have any doubt. Accepted in many countries and known in most, Safe to use.
1227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 05, 2017, 02:58:20 PM
Very bad idea with a "civil war" ongoing.
I assume you mean the one within bitcoin and not the world itself.   And that's a fair point,  but OP doesn't seem to understand the nature of advertising and who pays for it and the rationale behind it.  It's a suggestion someone very young or very naive would make, honestly.  There's no need to advertise bitcoin through media.  Period.

Exchanges should advertise Bitcoin on TV or other media, they will definitely get some users getting into their site and try trading. that will be beneficial to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List Of CPU Mining only Alt Coins on: May 04, 2017, 05:07:47 PM
Minergate parece ser una buena opcion

I thought there's a new update in the list,I hope there's a good guy that can post the updated list of CPU Mining only Alt Coins for the benefits of those who are searching for CPU Mining only Alt Coins.

There are many coins now which can be mined through 64 bit processor CPU, Updating the list should be much useful for new users or those who want to mine with their CPU, I dont think it will be profitable now to mine with CPU only so proceed with caution.
1229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: price on: May 04, 2017, 03:52:48 PM
The thread is of last year and its funny to read this now as I had bought some BTC at that time when it was 450$+ and now it is 1500$, a great growth for all the BTC supporters. If it gets dump after this then it may go to 1250$ maximum.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's stack on: May 04, 2017, 02:47:12 PM
Assume if you have a 100k BTC, you will store it in one wallet and let the world know that you exist?? I dont think the creator of Bitcoin is that stupid. Roll Eyes

As many of the forum members said, it is divided into small amounts and stored in lots of addresses.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: May 04, 2017, 02:05:09 PM
Its simple. 1200$ which I have in my bank from 2-3 months is like 1250$ now and 1 BTC which I had in my wallet 2-3 months ago which was 1200$ now it is 1500$, I guess you know where am going with this. BTC is savings, investment as well as money.
1232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTC now on Coinbase on: May 03, 2017, 05:35:46 PM
Litecoin now in the billion dollar club. Cheesy

I'm so glad that I stuck with my litecoin investment over the past years and stocked up a few when the price was sub 5 usd.

It's time for litecoin to take back position number two! (ok, maybe three Wink)

Number 3 would be fucking awesome!

I to stayed with litecoin for the past years, it's nice to see all the hodling paying off, it was a bit hard.

Thought this day would never come, but it actually paid off and it shut those mouths who were talking bad about Litecoin and giving statements as if it is a dead coin. Hope it goes sky high and beyond.  Grin
1233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you get the news about BTC/altcoins? on: May 03, 2017, 05:22:24 PM
You can search for bitcoin news on the internet easily. But you forget that you are in this forum, this is the best place for me. A place that gives us all the info about bitcoin development every day.  Smiley

Most of the new coins or updates about the old coins will be present in the announcement sections of this forum and even about exchanges and their accepted coins details are updated frequently by their developers or promoters here. So I would suggest Bitcointalk as well as Twitter accounts of some people.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 03, 2017, 05:11:30 PM
I think i can be a source of income if you actual use it to receive payment for services rendered like freelance or digital product sells/

It can be anything, not just selling services, it may be trading, gambling, lending or selling goods. If you want to quit your regular job and try earning Bitcoin then you must invest some and try trading, thats the best possible way to earn BTC.
1235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches the price of 1500 USD do we have to sell or we save? on: May 03, 2017, 02:35:35 AM
It is about how much BTC you are holding. If you are holding less than 1BTC then definitely sell all and buy when it gets dump again. If you have more than that amount then sell 25% or less and hold the remaining.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: May 02, 2017, 04:40:37 PM
The price now really looks good hope it will pump in $1500 maybe this time i would sell some and wait for the price to dump again even in our own wallet we can profit already by buy and sell btc.

Basically what most of us do as the pump and dump can happen anytime and we need to be ready. Bought some BTC and holding some since the rate was 1150$. Will sell as soon as it hits 1400$ price rate. Will wait for the dump again and same routine.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer 100% or 150% Welcome bonus ? on: May 02, 2017, 04:27:34 PM
I try to completely ignore any bonus because i don't like to get stucked with just a bonus balance after losing for few rounds which i can't withdraw without meeting wagering requirement they have.
Exactly so do I. I have been betting since 2 years now and one thing I learn is never take a bonus on your deposit at least not on horrible sites like bitcasino.io because they just block our initial deposit too. I love to claim NO DEPOSIT BONUSES instead because they even if have big wager requirements, I am not risking anything from my own pocket and hence no issues.

Yes. It actually depends on the gambling site which is giving this welcome bonus. Greedy people wont see anything else but just see this welcome bonus and put their money into potential scammy sites and lose most of their money. It is better to be fair and get no bonus than getting stuck into those sites.
1238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to start a new Indian Altcoin? on: May 02, 2017, 04:14:35 PM
It doesnt matter which country you are from, get the knowledge of coins and cryptocurrencies and form a team if you have the finance as well as an understanding of it. There are many altcoins which gets created every day but only the one which has good support and development will stay in the market. So take time and read.
1239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much maximum BTC can be sent in a single transaction? on: May 02, 2017, 03:18:54 PM
I think there is no limit in transferring bitcoin or doing any kind of transaction in just one sending process because it is all about fees, if you can afford the fees that the transaction cost then you can send how much as you can in just single transaction.

Should have read the previous posts before posting a reply and as explained by Burt, it is not about the total amount which you are sending, its about the size of transaction in bytes. So many can afford it. Without fees it will take a lot of time as the delay is getting more and more nowadays.
