1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XC uses multisig address and transaction? The answer is NO!! Look at facts here! on: August 16, 2014, 07:09:31 PM
I will post it in BIG letters... no fud so no reason to delete

They are mixing apples and oranges, XC is trustless based on the signatures of all parties during the private transaction.  Its not using MULTI_SIG N OF M Address's.

The transactions are SIGNED BY ALL PARTIES, if any of the outputs are missing, then it is not signed by all parties.

Here is an example of a private decentralized distributed multi-path transaction consisting of 4 parties. >>> http://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/tx.dws?229236.htm

No need to be big letters, it seems that you are so desperate. My reply was just above your post. Here let me post it again:

You made me laugh again, where is the multisig address in this link?

The following are quoted from greenclover:
Quote
Multisig addresses usually start with a different letter than their regular address. For example, Bitcoin's regular address starts with "1", its multisig address starts with "3". Supercoin's regular address starts with "S", its multisig address starts with "C". Mammothcoin's regular address starts with "M", its multisig address starts with "b". etc. For XC, its regular address starts with X and multisig address starts with "4". Everyone can create a multisig address using XC client and verify yourself.

SO!! is it settled XC does use Multisig, your two threads have been proven to be a waste of time and made you look not only stupid but desperate, next time try harder..bye
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XC uses multisig address and transaction? The answer is NO!! Look at facts here! on: August 16, 2014, 07:06:50 PM
Yes that's good.

BTW, XC supporters, the 2 multisig addresses I created (I suppose most of you if not all first time to see real multisig address for XC), they are not on the blockchain explorer yet. Because no tx associated with them.

Hint: do some deposits to the two addresses, then you will see them in the blockchain explorer. The only problem is that you will not be able to spend the fund there, as I am the only one to have the private keys that can sign and spend.

If needed, I can provide a tutorial on how the multisig tx can be used and how they are signed etc. Actually you find most already in the SuperSend's whitepaper. Grin
WOW!! you can read code and understand stuff better then some of us, your so superior aren't you, XC will release a white paper for you to jack off too latter today so do your wrist stretches and get your aloe and lanolin ready wanker.

someone should post that on the thread now or Alt Secure should just go explain it to him if he has the time ofc i know your busy and this stuff is beneath you but someone needs to put these fools in there place.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? The answer is NO!! Facts here! on: August 16, 2014, 06:07:08 PM
Enjoy you smear campaign i got better shit to do, btw cheplin from DRK pulled XC apart looking for problems if there was one the whole forum would know about it but he could find nothing so this whole thread is a joke, enjoy rubbing each others ego's.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? The answer is NO!! Facts here! on: August 16, 2014, 05:58:57 PM
For those who are still "confused", let me repeat again:

XC claimed to have implemented multisig. If this is true, then it is trivial to provide some multisig addresses with multisig tx associated with them, that we can see and inspect in the blockchain.

Saying implemented multisig but unable to provide even one multisig address? That dev provided some links deemed to be multisig transactions, but we don't even see one single multisig address there. He keep talking m-of-m (a joke for those who know what is multisig for), and provided regular addresses as multisig addresses, do you think he knows anything about multisig?

Some community members just show what a true XC multisig address look like. Now if you continue claim XC has it, show everyone the address and tx in the blockchain. Nothing is simpler, and let's not waste our (and everyone's) time by arguing. There's nothing to argue here, just show the facts! Experts know what you are talking about.

And like stated before: Why do you want us to provide this information? You can do it all yourself it seems..

Instead of coming to our Community and build some trust to get us explaining you things you make a thread with stupid claims that don't hold any grounds.

Is it worth arguing like this? If you have it, it will take you 30 sec to provide the info. Want a mammothcoin multisig address with transactions associated with it, and inspect from blockchain explorer? I can provide that to you in 30 sec.

If you do not have it and can not provide it, don't waste time here. You don't fool people here.

I see arguments over arguments, XC supporters, don't waste time please. As people said, it takes 30sec to provide a multisig address and tx. There are 100s in the Mammothcoin blockchain, I can give you one in 30 sec. Why not show yours? With so many posts and I don't see a single one? Anyone with IQ > 80 can conclude correctly what it means.

DO NOT WASTE TIME
LOL there are millions of people in the world with IQ's above 80 who don't know what the fuck multi sig is dickhead...
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: August 16, 2014, 05:49:49 PM
can we just ignore those pathetic ppl?

they just want to start a war and draw some attention.

this is exactly what they what.

do not bring ourselves to that low
Ignoring this is the worst possible way to deal with this, it makes us look guilty. we just need to sort it out, someone with the knowlege should be able to do it quickly and put it too rest.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? The answer is NO!! Facts here! on: August 16, 2014, 05:44:32 PM
Man you guys are going to look stupid when what you are slandering all over this forum is proven wrong, I'm just an investor i have no technical knowlege but i can say with complete confidence that various SR members of this forum have confirmed that multi sig works so get ready to be put in your places, and the shit you have said about XC Dev is disgusting you should really look in the mirror and examine the sort of people you are.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: August 16, 2014, 05:25:21 PM
Seriously can someone with the technical knowledge sort this shit https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=741018.40 there making them selves look bad but they are also making XC look bad.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? Looks like the answer is NO on: August 16, 2014, 05:16:23 PM
OK, for those from XC who never seen a real XC multisig address, let me show you what it is, and you can tell me if there are any exist today on the blockchain Grin

All the one posted in the above links by synechist are regular XC addresses, they are not multisig addresses, why? because XC's multisig address starts with 4, not X.

I downloaded XC wallet, and from there in console, I created 2 multisig addresses.

I used these 3 private-public key pairs:

public key: 033942099d7fb91a51b0e2899040c36cf5337002f43b2e80ec3afe3c81cbb5a3db
private key: X35fMeU3c159SX4tWVnA7ZW7DxTyw7BCqEmt92Nw5N87kezytJSZ

public key: 02733ae45bf1d7fc5b24dcdbf54c0dd2b106a39233e65cdb47fd0fd925734f4b83
private key: X7oy79myB5WmKXAjey6oZPfo12BHmwRfD9k4rmL2oYUMdjff48NU

public key: 02307e5d3924fa8d95093ed61bfa4ecb4bf108196013ee1de466589bcf3fb212b8
private key: X2z4smxErHnkVBZnWzfPMDMNdMvD3mAnB7w7YD1BFeppf3iqUyWJ

these pairs are derived from the addresses I have. From there I created 2 addresses: 2-of-3 multisig address and 3-of-3 multisig address (though this one is of no use - just to show):

2-of-3 multisig address: 4ShqMQFoQFLBzhXDs3aJJMnDNLZ9JTrxKH
3-of-3 multisig address: 4XCmiwfQCm6gQNrW6kaXZJawLPekQGQf5o

BTW, you can make some deposits to 2-of-3 multisig address, and I can show you how to spend it. I can do a tutorial for you guys who have no ideas on what is a multisig address. Grin Grin

thank you some138 for showing the truth and facts, I was going to create a multisig address to show them too. Grin

Wow...there is something deeply wrong with you isn't there...
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: August 16, 2014, 05:06:54 PM
Wokeup today to my PC unable to start windows. AWESOME.

Ststem restore to the most recent date failed twice, trying the next date back now... I backed up my wallet.dat a few weeks ago but have bought some more XC and staked some since then so I'm hoping system restore gets all my XC back!

Lesson learned back your XC up regularly.
you only need to backup your wallet.dat once.
Your wallet.dat does not contain your coins... the blockchain does.
When needed your backup will update on the blockchain and you will have your coins

If you have a new adress (like one for xchat) than you need to backup again. Cheesy

Good to know, maybe I'm ok then. Although I think I created a new receiving address in my XC wallet for the recent buys I've made on mintpal so I'm guessing I still may be in trouble?
If you didn't backed up the wallet.dat with your new adress for receiving from mintpal you could be in trouble.

is it possible to extract your wallet.dat from the corrupt windows?
it is on directory C:\Users\"your username"\AppData\Roaming\xcurrency

Not sure about that but hopefully... I just did a system restore to an older date and it said it was successful but then when I restarted my computer I got the same error that windows wouldnt start. I'll probably have to bring it in for someone to look at.  I appreciate the help tho!

i think you're fine as long you have an old backup of your wallet. just reinstall xc client when your computer is fixed, copy old wallet.dat to data directory (%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\XCurrency) and start xcurrency. then wait until it's fully synchronized.

only thing that could be, if you gave label to the newly created addresses it might be reset to "(no label)" since this is stored in the wallet.dat.

Good advice. If you've created <100 new addresses since your last backup of your wallet.dat, it'll automatically be able to recreate any addresses created after the backup.

Read the last few replys here mate, set this shit straight if you can https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=741018.40

can someone explain why BTC is dropping everyday?
Who knows, but when people skeptical of Crypto & BTC see it drop and recover it only reinforces the idea that Crypto currencies are not some fad and are here too stay it's a good thing in my opinion.

i think smartest investors are in XC thread.

so these guys can't help trying any ways to bring attention to their coins.

it is understandable, but please play in a nice and decent way.

Are you not understanding the issue here? Why do you think the volume is drying up in XC and all alts? The scam coins have ruined the market. Soon there will be no market...no liquidity...no currency. This is a market wide problem and it affects the quality alts the most. Complacency with this issue will be the "smart investor's" loss.
It's a short term problem, nothing to loose sleep over, people are way more investigative of new Alts these days, the free market is starting to regulate it's self.
Informing people of scams is the free market regulating itself....that's what I am doing...Wink
I was just saying don't lose sleep over it mate, and people learn best by making mistakes first, try to tell someone something there ego takes over, it's when they relise what they thought was correct is not, that real change begins. soon there will only be a few crypto's left, and XC will be close to the top if not on top of that list, so relax brother.

+100000
Post up multi-sig block-chian proof please - I have had these concerns for a while.
Did you test for yourself?
Have you followed the developments made public in various XC discussions?
This is the big problem with people today they expect everything to be given, and want other people to do the work for them, i got a harsh reality for all people who think this way, you will fail miserably in all aspects of life, business, relationships, investments etc life is a two way street no one cares what u want u have to care enough to go get it yourself.

How about no... go read the thread no one cares if any of you invest...no one owes you any explanation, god gave you a brain, and a pair of eyes so use them.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does XC uses multisig address and transaction? Looks like the answer is NO on: August 16, 2014, 06:43:09 AM
This is pathetic lol  Roll Eyes XC sure makes you guys scared hey...everything you want to know is in our thread, if you want to know read it, why should we do the work for you just to prove you wrong, we don't care....and  there is a month old bounty still unclaimed for 2 BTC if you can connect the sender to receiver address, so go ahead knock yourselves out, cheplin from DRK did..it was extremely amusing he wanted that BTC but he...failed and gave up, now you can fail and give up while we all watch...have fun.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: August 15, 2014, 06:34:26 PM
if XC gets hacked on an exchange and people loose there coins how about they suck it up and take responsibility for there own risk, the reason they would keep it there was so they could try to swing trade, that's there decision and not any one Else's, there for if they loose there coins it's there problem and not anyone Else's, end of story. why should others suffer? lol we shouldn't and we won't...this discussion is stupid.

Do a roll back if you want to completely fuck up everything that has been done so far...no...then it's settled..no roll back then..great glad we all agree.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: August 15, 2014, 03:56:12 PM
If any XC gets ripped off from exchanges being hacked too bad in my opinion no fork no nothing... serves you right for not caring about something so precious to begin with, would you have BTC sitting on an exchange?Huh well XC is more valuable in the long run then BTC in my opinion more fool you...better luck next time(if there is a next time) try getting BTC to fork if you get your BTC stolen just ridiculous....
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XC][XCurrency] Decentralised Trustless Privacy Platform / Encrypted XChat / Pos on: August 15, 2014, 03:49:51 PM
Looking forward to a bright future here.
If you invest in XC NOW!! your future is bright, can almost guarantee you a 1k investment today will be worth a million in 3-5 years time...sounds crazy hey!...it's not...

I worked it out, with your hold that would mean your 50 Million $ Richer in 3 -5 Years !!!!!  who knows...... Out of all the Alts out there currently though, i can confidently say,those with more volume at the moment than XC are going Nowhere.

I'll try and explain what i mean in fashion terms !!

XC is the Levis jeans of the Crypto Innovation, solid, steady and will be just as strong for years to come.

The others to me just aren't marketable to the mainstream which mainly tech savvy understand, this is starting to change though.  Bit like elderly people with smart phones, I'm pretty sure everyone here knows a Gran or Grandpa you'd never of expected to use a smart phone USING a smart phone!!  Sure it was difficult for them to learn, but the first few that did where like, you know what... this actually is pretty cool.  Few years on i see 60 Year old's on smart phones really ENJOYING it!  And when Grandpa A sees Garandpa B using one, it's nothing but growth after that!  It gives them confidence to change habits they would not of otherwise changed, like trusting on-line banking and shopping on-line.  Why is this important you might ask?  I believe we are at the X over point now with XC.  It's not perfect but it's extremely marketable and has everything needed to go Hyper.

+1 XC has all the things it needs to push crypto mainstream, it's a currency like BTC but..it's anonymous add on anonymous txt voice and video communication and you have a winner..but that's just part of the tech and you got too take into consideration the team behind it..look what Dan and the team have achieved with minimal funding behind them wait till they have major funding behind them....+ plus Dan has been the CEO of a major company he knows how to manage XC when it gets BTC big...XC is a diamond in the rough.
