Does the exchange rate matter at all? Very few of the merchants are accepting Bitcoin directly. Most of them are accepting it through third party apps such as Coinbase and Bitpay. These third party apps immediately convert BTC to fiat currency and therefore the prices does not matter for the merchants. In the end, they are getting the payment in USD or EUR.

Look out for the altcoin bounty campaigns, where you can participate using your Facebook or Twitter account. Sometimes, they have also option for Reddit users. The advantage is that you can participate in multiple campaigns at the same time (which is not possible with sig campaigns).

For me, there are two favorite altcoins. The first one is Bitcoin Cash. The exchange rates have risen as much as 150% to 200% during the past week. My second favorite altcoin is Byteball. The prices are going down, but IMO it is one of the alts having the maximum future potential.

Agreed invest in real cryptocurrencies such as Byteball if you want 100x profits. Hmm... the Byteball exchange rates have fallen by more than 80% during the last two months. It is ironic to see the exchange rates of real cryptos like Byteball going down, and at the same time that of pump-and-dump alts such as IOTA going up. |

Yeah I think it is, take the opportunity as there is still great potential here. You can still probably profit more than 50% this year. I think the price will end up at $7000 or even more before year end. That is my prediction on bitcoin. I won't even be surprised to see this reach $10,000. In less than a month, it has climbed from $1,800 to $4,450. If everything goes as per the plan in November and if the 2MB block size limit is implemented successfully, the we can even expect $10,000 by the end of this year. |

It all depends on whether you like the payments to be irreversible or not. If you want the payments to be reversible, then you can prefer PayPal. If not, then you can use Bitcoin. Both the methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. For example, it is easy to make mistakes while making Bitcoin payments. If you are having a lapse of concentration and you type the wrong BTC address, then all of your coins will be gone.

I think we can't expect bitcoin prices stay at the same level with the price of one gold bar even the coins can be mined has been run out, it's same we hoping bitcoin price can reach $500,000 or more than it. for me it seems unreasonable.
A bitcoin price of $500,000 per coin (as predicted by John McAfee) seems unreasonable right now, but we can't rule out such a scenario completely. Such a price level will roughly place Bitcoin market cap at the same level with that of gold. |

The demand for gold seems to have slowed down, especially in the emerging nations such as China and India. A few years back, analysts were predicting prices of up to $5,000 per oz. by 2020. Now it seems like they are less optimistic about gold.

It is under the ownership of a few rich investors from the United Arab Emirates. That said, I have a few doubts regarding the latest news.
