One day coins like butterflies. Altcoins are imploding, exchanges happy with their bribes short therm and no one care that this bacchanalia can't least forever.

Unfortunately some dumped their coins at a price of 300 satoshi at europex now those who bought there can still sell in profit at bittrex but i hope now this stupid dumpfest will be over for good BTW, I have 32 confirmations in my wallet and zero on bittrex, I suspect bittrex wanna sell coins first. |

I tried to transfer some qcn to poloniex and it said transaction was too big so it could not get through.
Why does that happen and how do I fix it?
You have to read a couple of pages in this thread. Send small transactions many times (0.5, 1 QCN). All this related to dust received from pools. Gonna be fixed later, but now it's the only solution. |

LOL, funny. I wish to sell this coin, come back to Dubai and wipe out everything from Dubai Mall using this coin earnings.
My advice: encourage Patek Philippe store there to accept this coin. Give away everything from genesis block, otherwise we will be punished by FPGA miners. I would like to share an idea of future coin development.
Here is my proposal: add a feature to wallet to lock coins for a long period of time. Call it Proof Of Long Hold/Stake for example and offer slightly increased interest rate.
The idea:
1. User send special amount of coins to special address in his wallet.
2. After a months he will receive his special amount + extended reward.
3. Coins unspendable during this period.
Just like proof of burn, but coins always back after a long period of time + reward.
Or just a special kind of staking when coins locked for a long period (2 weeks or 1 month). So coins are unspendable and can not be dumped hard. Such blocks can require 10K confirmations for example to make sure that coins are unspendable.
Dev, do you like it?
Update: How to determine what address is suitable for such kind of stake? Just send a special amount, 1,999,999 coins for example, than wallet will stake it immediately. To avoid possible attacks, such addresses must be filled with special amount in a single transaction. Pretty simple to implement.

We could potentially merge mine with doge/litecoin on the scrypt algo, bitcoin on the sha256 algo and the myriad on the other three algos. This could make DigiByte very attractive to miners.
Now you are talking absolutely opposite thing to your previous post. If you want to get DGB by mining MYR, DOGE, LTC, BTC you will kill this coin. If you want to mine DGB and get MYR, BTC, LTC, etc you have to hardfork these coins to accept DGB PoW. It's impossible. Only MYR if they are agree. Only one coin is required to hard fork & merge mine. We could hard fork right now and merge mine with Doge or Litecoin on Scrypt. For example, when you mine Bitcoins you only get Bitcoins. When you mine Namecoin you get Namecoins & bitcoins. That is how merge mining works. So when Doge talked about merge mining with us we would hard fork and add the merge code. Then when people mined Doge they would only get doge. But when they mined DigiByte they would get DigiByte & doge. Ok it seems there are two different approaches of merged mining and we are talking about different things. Do it if you believe in it, you are dev. Personally I think that miners comes with value and not value comes with miners. Never liked the idea of merged mining, coins must not be a bonus. |
