1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: April 27, 2017, 03:10:05 PM
IMO, as long as this scaling war doesn't decimate things, it's highly probable that we see a double or even triple sized market cap within the next 5 years.

given the last five years, that seems pretty reasonable, which feels weird to write.

Indeed.

If no other honest digital currency takes the lead, bitcoin will likely appreciate in price. The FED will likely grow its balance sheet and create many more $ so bitcoin will increase at least 10 fold increase in nominal terms. Gold is a also good hedge against inflation, i don't recommend buying only bitcoins.

Probably true but I dont see that in near future as I feel BTC still has some life left and 10-15 years will be a definite. So you got plenty of time to think and strategize about alternative coins and decide which may hold a key to the future.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Signature campaigns on: April 27, 2017, 02:11:07 PM
I've noticed most of the signature campaigns in the services section of alt are of upcoming projects or coins, are there any signature campaigns that give coins from the top 20 of marketcap as payouts?
And actually surprised to see no Ethereum paying campaigns, I think people would be interested in those as much as bitcoin if not more.

BTC became a benchmark in the cryptocurrencies world. Even if the developers want to pay in altcoins or ETH, most of the users will again want to convert them to BTC and will check for the conversion rates before joining any of these altcoin campaigns.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 26, 2017, 06:10:10 PM
Small investments make sense only if you do it every now and then. Like to make an investment every fortnightly or monthly of some fixed amount.. May be its just 0.01BTC or 0.05BTC. Just one time investment of that much amount will not be any useful for the future.
1264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price can be manipulate? on: April 26, 2017, 05:34:44 PM
Haven't you heard of buying your own coin.? Developers do that to increase the popularity of their coin and make a trap for the traders and bag holders. Some developers think about the investors and be truthful to investors otherwise most of them create altcoins to make money from money.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: April 26, 2017, 04:43:00 PM
I am using an online wallet always, but as of now since I want to save bitcoin for long term use I just download an electrum ang installled it. so far, its ok now.Just save the seed and you are fine. Smiley

Thats better. It is great if everyone saves their BTC or other altcoins, in a local Bitcoin wallet. All the web and exchange website wallets can be compromised anytime from hackers or stealers. Just have kept my day to day usage Bitcoin in a web wallet, all my savings in local desktop wallet.
1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best exchange to buy XRP (Ripple)? on: April 25, 2017, 06:03:33 PM
I'd Go With Bitstamp.

poloniex is good option for me

I would choose Poloniex over Bitstamp all the time. I dont have a big stash of Ripple but I guess it will be of a good value in future.

Thanks to Onkel Paul for enlightening us with the knowledge.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 25, 2017, 04:27:14 PM
Simple, No gambling No greed. I dont gamble on anything except for Rock Paper Scissors in www.action-gamble.com that too with most of the giveaways the owners give. So I just gamble what I have on that site. No greed at all.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: April 25, 2017, 01:46:35 PM
Wow! More than 100 BTC increase in ICO investment in just two days?! Amazing!!! It only shows that many investors now trust this project. This will be a good start. I'm sure that after ICO, there will be a huge price increase if many more investors will invest in the remeining days of this ICO. I'm keeping an eye on this project.

More than 100BTC!!! Its very near to 200BTC mate. The Quantum Project is getting its advertisements nicely from the campaign and Xaurum team.
Bitcointalk community is the best when it comes to launching your project and getting response from people all around the world.
1269  Economy / Services / Re: QUANTUM PROJECT Signature Campaign(FULL) on: April 25, 2017, 01:42:17 PM

Please check your wallet or exchange once again because I can see your address in the transaction details.  Roll Eyes

Received the payment and hope this campaign runs for more than a month. Thank you Yahoo and Quantum.
1270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all nations of the world started to use bitcoin on: April 24, 2017, 06:08:19 PM
If that would be the case then bitcoin is mostly over. The prices will rise to some 10k but no use the transactions speed will be slow. It would 48 hours to process a payment with some 10$ fees. The low fees payments can take months.

Even Bitcoin will get adopted and developed for those situations. If the governments start using BTC then they will surely think about its development but the anonymity will be a big hurdle for them as they will not be knowing about most of the transaction senders and receivers.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which bitcoin gambling site is your favorite place to go? on: April 24, 2017, 05:51:25 PM
I am not much into gambling sites as I cant afford to loose money but I play Rock Paper Scissors on www.action-gamble.com. Loved the design and love to play it as it was one of my favorite game with my friends and still is. Check it out..
1272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: April 24, 2017, 02:52:07 PM
My most favorite thing about bitcoins is that it helps me in earning some extra money which can take care of my expenses and it also allows me to earn it in multiple ways some of them are the most safest methods like signature campaign from where I can generate guaranteed amount of bitcoins.

Yes, Bitcoin is a great income source if you have the basic sense of what is it and how to earn it. Signature campaigns are one of the best earning opportunity here in this forum. Even bounty's and other giveaways will let you earn a good side income, all because of BTC.
1273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Is Bitcoin Trading and Why It's risky? on: April 23, 2017, 03:08:21 PM
Many say risky because the price can change anytime and wait until the price rose from the price when buying it could be long maybe the profits not proportional to the time spent when waiting
Yes it is risky , any investment is risky because we arent sure if we were earn on it when we are in first time but you can have a less risk if you know what you do ,have an skills in trading it is not only buy low buy sell .So you must consider of the things that happen in any exchanges.

Its all about how much patience you have and how much you can control your emotions. Sometimes people panic and sell or buy with emotions that is when Trading is risky, Otherwise it is planned calculations all the time.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why doesn't North Korea open up a bitcoin exchange? on: April 23, 2017, 04:29:19 AM
You're requesting something that's basically impossible for them. They barely have any right to freedom and you want them to use Bitcoin? Kim Jong-Un maybe could use it, but the others are just manipulated slaves and have no chance to do so.

Just look up "North Korean internet censorship" on Google and you'll find out the answer.
maybe if he "kim" will notice the advantage of bitcoin he will use it for its own purpose as bitcoin can give him a lots money while he still
in control and with all the censorship no one will notice what is happening from btc.
There's no way he will use bitcoin even if bitcoin have so many advantages, the usage of bitcoin will change the opinion of his citizens towards him and will definitely affect the governance.
As I recall, north Korea trying to compete and always make their own technology even though theirs just seem outdated. They will develop a new system or a new cryptocurrency instead of using bitcoin.

Seriously..? Why do they have to create one..?
Dont you guys know how Kim is holding North Korea for so many years.? If the people understood how the world is then Kim may not stay in power anymore.
1275  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: best way to invest about 80$ on: April 22, 2017, 05:59:34 PM
where to invest about 80$ as BTC
No gambling or risky methods

just guaranteed methods ?

if i have $80 in btc, i will use half of the amount to do trading btc-altcoin and i will learn many thing about trading and i will save the other half of the amount. with doing trading from what i am learning, i am sure that i can make more bitcoin than i can thing and from what i am save the other half, i will make more money in future.

I would say invest the other half in an altcoin like Litecoin or Byteball for example. That will earn for itself more than it may earn in case of Bitcoins I guess. Trading should be done strategically and with a proper plan.
1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a bagholder? Which altcoins do you hold? on: April 22, 2017, 05:55:00 PM
In crypto land, there are a variety of cryptocurrencies to choose from, since the inception of Bitcoin. Many of them provide innovative ways for us to transact in our daily lives.

Some have advanced features and higher transaction throughtput than Bitcoin, and others are just cloned from BTC's codebase.

While the majority of altcoins are pump and dump, there are very few of them which are worth holding.

That is to say, we sometimes end up holding the bag when an specific altcoin massively declines in price.

Nevertheless, I would like to know if you are a bagholder of altcoins, and which of them do you hold into your wallet?

As for me, I hold plenty of altcoins like Casinocoin, Virtacoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dash, Ethereum, Ambercoin, LiteDoge, Tekcoin, Stratis, MonetaryUnit, Teslacoin, and many more (the list is extensive) Due to the many altcoins I hold for a pretty long time, I consider myself as a bagholder.

What about you?  Roll Eyes

Yeah, I can considered myself as one of the bag holders of different altcoins which I think potentials coins. So some of it like bitcoin I hold it for long term basis and some are for a short period of time.

Which coins do you hold.? I dont consider myself as a bagholder completely as I just have 2-3 coins that too in less amount. Have invested some in Litecoin and thought Byteball has a good future by seeing its developers, so that also and have some Monero other than Bitcoin ofcourse.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have my pockets full of LTC and my home boys do too! on: April 22, 2017, 04:42:11 PM
I believe that there are many investors of full LTC in their pockets. Perhaps They bought it from this early year with 4$-5$ price so They will be very rich if this coin hit 15$-25$ in next month. LTC will be hottest coin in this year .

Someone was selling his house to buy LTC, does anyone else saw that video on youtube.? I dont know whether it is that much reliable or not but it is making a stand in cryptocurrencies world.
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good coins I am missing out on: April 22, 2017, 01:54:12 PM
yeah obviously bitcoin! Shocked

Ofcourse, I am holding a huge amount in BTC. I do trading for only 10-20% of my BTC equivalent.

LTC just recently had a good news, so it's really jumping well.

Also, I have some coins in ICO Humaniq

Rest, I think I get more beating for Dash and XRP. XRP is being used in many banks, that's one reason I am holding on. Need to rethink about Dash I think.

If am not wrong, you are missing out Byteball. The rate started increasing recently and it will be pumped more. Try to buy some for short term trading and sell on high value.
1279  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: primedice is scam sites. confirmed. don't play primedice. on: April 21, 2017, 05:06:47 PM

Primedice is provably fair and one of the top gambling site. Dont make new accounts and post here again.
