We should probably ban all trading, then, if we're going to ban ICOs and the like for having a risk of being a scam. Yes, a high proportion turn out to be scams, but here's a professional tip:
Don't invest your money into them.
It's simple. If you don't invest your money into ICOs and the like, you won't lose your money. Unless you get hacked, of course, but that's an entirely different issue.

Yes, TradeFortress is easily one of the most memorable. While Trust is a good indicator, it's a bad idea to use it as the sole point for which you base trustworthiness off of. Checking post histories to see if it seems like the account has been hacked/sold, or just following your gut instinct is usually a good idea. If one member starts massively branching off into high-risk endeavours like running a HYIP, there's going to be a risk of a scam.

Edited in interest, just realized as I clicked away haha. Confirmed @Quickseller, though you may want to wait a bit as Dogedigital may not have seen this. EDIT: That'd be nice of you Dogedigital! Sorry then Quickseller. Sending in a minute.
edit; Quickseller beats me to the races again!
edit2; No Interest needed on my part if you need it from me.
Quoted, post with the TXID when you've sent.

Looking to take advantage of a deal real quick and 99% of my money is in my PayPal. Easiest way is for me to take a loan. Repayment will be by 20th January, but it'll likely be much earlier. Most of that is just buffer time.
My address is 171717Lqgyi88sqSqRtToFYUYmJqeq5Bui, just say when you've sent it! Cheers.
Edit: Oh, forgot! Repayment will be 0.035 BTC when I do repay, and within a week I will send 0.01 BTC as a tip. Thanks.

About a week to go, and 25 more posts. Hmm.

Quoted this: Inspite of the best efforts of the lenders and trusted members, there has been a spate of scams. To prevent that use the trust rating wisely.
[1] When giving out a collateral free loan, give a neutral feedback mentioning the loan. [2] When you receive a loan request, check the trust rating, click on untrusted feedback, and see if there are any ratings which may be of concern.
It should help to detect loanees who take out multiple loans. This seems to be the recent trend these days. Warnings may not be given as negative feedback but as neutral, so it will not show up unless you go into their trust rating.
And re-titled the thread to make it a tad more intimidating, so that people actually read it.

Nah. It will remain. It still applies.

I downgraded my rating to a neutral rating as he does show some kind of remorse...but that's remaining as a note. At the very least it was written in a very bad and ambiguous way. I must repeat though. If you think this guy is trustworthy, sure, leave him a positive rating, he may even get a couple DefaultTrust ones. But that doesn't mean what made him get negative trust is invalid and that the system is broken. You just make yourselves look like shills, unfortunately.

You offered to pay me for, essentially, positive trust. Now all the people involved in DMD are coming to try and create warfare over a trust-related issue. No-one cares if you had deals with him or trust him - that doesn't take away from the situation.

Well your accs were deleted, but their posts were already 0'd out so I don't think there's much of a difference...
Your IP also seems to be dynamic. I'll lift the IP bans that were made soon though.

Dev can you tell me why i was banned by the HYPER forum and why im not get answer from yopu more than 1 day and why im not paid by my work?
I didn't ban you from the forum you will have to PM DiamondCardz here and ask him why he banned you it has nothing to do with me. I'm really busy, but I really like your ideas for HYPER and will reply to your PM today. I need you to answer my questions in PM which you didn't answer before about setting up the Russian CS servers. Can they play on the EU servers or do you want to set up new Russian servers? I will message you today and please PM DiamondCardz to ask about the forum ban it has nothing to do with me. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=55122 I have also paid out the giveaways on the HYPER forum you took part in. You can be paid more HYPER for your work but we need to establish exactly what it is you will be doing first. When I send you another PM please answer my questions this time! If you want to work with HYPER you have to appreciate how busy I am and that I may not be able to reply to your PM on the same day!Multi-accs.

Looking for in the region of $1000 PayPal.
Post here if you're interested and send me a PM. Don't even bother unless you have ridiculously high trust - there's no way in hell I'm doing a 4-figure Bitcoin-PP trade with a Jr. Member with no trust.

I'm a little over half way done myself.

The OP raises some good points but the "anarchocapitalists" exist both in Bitcoin and USD. If Bitcoin does become large the government will find a way to crack down on people who use Bitcoin for illegal purposes. Silk Road 1.0 & 2.0 both prove this.
