1281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal receiving Bitcoin?! on: September 29, 2016, 04:21:11 AM
I actually wouldn't be surprised if Paypal acquired a company that took Bitcoin payments at some point in the future.
It is already happening. PayPal added Bitcoin startup Xapo CEO Wences Casares to board of directors he might be working on some new level of partnership between Xapo and PayPal.
Direct Bitcoin acceptance is doubtful it will be rather done by acquiring bitcoin companies, startups and projects and integration of their services into PayPal portfolio.

http://www.coindesk.com/paypal-xapo-wences-board-directors/

Wow! This is a very good news Cheesy
It will be more convenient for us to transfer our bitcoin or do online shopping because not all online shopping sites accept bitcoin. I'm looking forward to it!

paypal is only looking for making more money from this partnership and nothing else.
but i think it is going to be a good thing for everyone both bitcoin users and those who don't use bitcoin because it will open up a way for an easy access to buying and selling bitcoin for fiat.
1282  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: September 29, 2016, 04:17:11 AM
Wow, 21 bitcoin? not a small amount. if I have the 21 bitcoin, I'll hold it. Yes, I'll hold it in the safest place and sell it at the right time and enjoy the fruits of it. Yeah, hopefully I can actually get 21 bitcoin
yeah thats a lot of money, i think i would just invest it somewhere in order to make it grow big

I agree investing this 21 BTC  to some business venture that will enable us to gain profit or multiply our holdings.  It might be a bit hard but, everything that gives a great result is hard in the beginning then when you mastered all this all arounds of your business, it would be easy for you since you are now familiar to everything.
but i think that investing might be not the best choice to be honest because you might lose your investment

Somehow investing that some amount of bitcoins is going to be a good choice but I guess I will not going to invest all of it. I am going to remain some of it maybe only 5 bitcoin is going to be used for investment. And the rest is going to be stocked to my bitcoin wallet and going to wait for the price increase and once the price increased then I will sell it.
good point mate waiting for the price to increase will surely earned you more but for me i will invest it with alt trading i want to make some more with that amount it possible for me to have some control with known alt coin and start to make some good movement 21 btc can do huge movement in any alt project so just needed to research and study deep to make it possible doubling my investment.
It's going to be a long wait dude, you need to have a lot of patience for you to successfully do it, 21 BTC is a huge amount of money if for 10 years let's say you will wait, maybe the price of bitcoin then will be $2,000 or more.

then don't wait and start doing something with that kind of money instead of leaving it idle in your wallet to stay there for a maybe!

you can start a business and earn more money with you current money and add to your stash instead of waiting.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coin will rise after Monero? on: September 29, 2016, 04:11:53 AM
There may be a chance for Waves and Ethereum.
Unfortunately I still don't believe enough in ETH to hold some.
Waves may have a good pump when the nodes are released and one when Polo with list it. After that... hard to tell, Sasha&Co seem to work on it, but somehow slow (which can be good and can be bad).

Monero has a good niche, it's stable, it's developing nicely. It has a good chance for "moon", unless something better pops out meanwhile and it develops faster.
However, Monero will not be easy to be beaten on its niche. This is why I didn't mention the other anon coins.

ethereum is always an option as long as it has fallen down not when it is still in the bubble because they will always pump it for at least one more year until people give up on it.

and as for monero i have not given up on it, the rise has stopped and also slowed down but this can change so fast too.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 29, 2016, 04:07:05 AM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

Actually it is sometimes wrong and sometimes not.

It depends on how the person who gambles, or to
make it easy the gamblers treat the game.

If he know his limitations, then I believed
it will not turn as a bad habit on him,

But if the gambler can't control his actions and on how he bet
irresponsibly, the I supposed he will end up realizing that
gambling makes bad effect on him.
Gambling will never wrong. It is just a game to play for fun and entertainment. But people will choose to gamble to make money this is wrong. No one will tell you to play gambling right. We only initiate and play. So here what gambling do. So according to me, Gambling is not wrong, the players are wrong.

it is wrong if you use it wrong not by itself.

if you are playing gambling games for winning money you certainly are using it the wrong way but not everybody is using it that way but instead a lot of us are playing gambling games for just fun of it and enjoy the games a lot. so it is not wrong for us.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2016-09-26] Gavin Andressen: Ethereum to replace bitcoin on: September 29, 2016, 04:03:35 AM
screw that guy.
i don't think anybody cares about that he says and does anymore. he has made a lot of mistakes in the past with his classic, xt and finally satoshi scandal.

Freaking Ethereum Wallet is still not stable after 20-30 releases...
In the last 2 weeks I had to delete/download the blockchain twice...
The chain got corrupted (a) standard Win7 memory maxed out and (b) standard Win7 power outage.

this what we call crappy code.
ETH is only good to make profit from trading it. that is all its good for!
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to gamble the right way on: September 29, 2016, 04:00:13 AM
It's easy to gamble the right way. Don't go all in on your bets if you are not ready to lose it all, have a self control and don't easily get rage when you lose your bet, because i already experienced it and it make me busted.

Well that is really not going to be an effective way if you are going to do YOLOing because if you are going to do that. It is just like you are going to risk all of your money with one just bet. But if you are really a risk taker then you are going to do this but for me the right way to gamble is just you are going to gamble with low amount.

but YOLOing is a fun thing to do sometimes.

whether it is in a game or it is in a gambling with money when you YOLO you have a tremendeous amount of fun because of the big risk that you are taking and indeed you only live once, so you have to have as much fun you can have.
1287  Economy / Gambling / Re: Asking for best dice site for you on: September 29, 2016, 03:56:45 AM
Hey guys I just want to ask what your favorite dice site that helps you to win or lucky in the game if you play in this dice site. Because I am aware of the validity of some dice site. He he. Just to secure my money or maybe I'll get some luck to your lucky moments or in your journey of your dice site.

my favorite place to gamble when i am looking for a dice game is primedice but the luck of me there when playing dice varies some times it is good and some times it is not that good.
but it is the nature of dice games that we lose more than we win and you have to accept it
1288  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: September 29, 2016, 03:53:40 AM
Price of bitcoin shows the value of bitcoin if the price of bitcoin is very low it's not attractive for people to buy 1k bitcoins and only have a euro worth. If the value is high it's more attractive for users and investors.

Exactly, and also if the price stays stable on one place for example if the price stuck on $500 and never moved up and down, no one would have been investing this much as much they are investing now because they wouldn't see any progress but now when the price is fluctuating it attracts people because they see potential of growing in it.
yeah of course you remember a few years ago when prices skyrocketed bitcoin price to $ 1,200. You know virtually hundreds of thousands of people joined the bitcoin, attracted by the high price of bitcoin? me included, so the price of bitcoin will be very important, especially the high price. for stable or fluctuating, I can tolerate it
But that was just a bubble and this time the price is really telling the real standing of bitcoin in the market, maybe we should be happy now that the price do increase slowly but surely, this time there will be no crisis that will happen and we will be straightforward to success.

that is absolutely right.
we should be happy that price is rising genericly not with fake pumps because of the willy bot on the mt gox exchage site.
right now it has been a couple of years that price was rising slowly and with a good pace. and it has not yet stopped either which shows the support is strong.
1289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Segwit is comming soon, only a matter of time we explode to 1000+ on: September 29, 2016, 03:50:17 AM
segwit is just going to be like an ignition to the rocket to the moon.

it is not going to create the rocket or fuel it Cheesy

in other words the market is so ready for a big price rise and segwit can be that little nudge that it needs to start going up.
1290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: huffington post article "crypto currencies: A time to invest?" on: September 29, 2016, 03:47:36 AM
it was a good article but i don't need an article to tell me it is a time to invest, i know that already and i have been investing as much as i could afford in past year before anybody were publicly saying it is a good time.

1292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if...Satoshi Nakamoto suddenly burns 1 million bitcoins? on: September 29, 2016, 03:42:34 AM
some ifs are just plain stupic because they are never going to happen.

why would the creator of bitcoin suddenly come out of hiding and then instead of doing anything constructive with the 1 million coins they burn them!!!

that does not make any sense.
1293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Keep or sell? on: September 25, 2016, 05:17:13 AM
Hi,

Many analytics said that the bitcoin price will go up this month, but nothing significant has happend yet. So what do you think is going to happen? Is it better to sell now or wait more? Do you think that the bitcoin price will fall?

Angell
it is the time to keep your btc in your wallet because . the down in the price is due to the people selling their btc for ETH . this is the small time down in the rate of bitcoin so i will suggest to keep your btc atlast for a month because in the future in this year the price will sharply increase .
so true . today most traders attracted by the ETH. but I believe the next few months the trend of people will begin to return to the bitcoin.
more and more use of bitcoin to make bitcoin prices higher.

not most people you should stay most day-traders instead.

because people are only attracted to bitcoin and that is all everybody thinks about but when the bitcoin price is stable they start looking somewhere else for profit.

and this is when they look for the pump and dumps and the bigger the pumps and dump the more trader will go there.
1294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: September 25, 2016, 05:13:40 AM
Invest on trading that would be better than investing on amy websites as well as on gambling it can't be profitable because you will end up losing in the long . If you have enough knowledge on trading that wpuld be your advantage and you have to improve it .

But without knowledge trading can be even worse than gambling, and it will require a lot of time and money to get on professional level. Investing in crypto business (like gambling sites or some other opportunities) is safer and easier. In trading you also need to check charts every day and still there are risks of flash crashes.

As my self i do prefer trading because in gambling i cant win i dont know why except sporstbetting Cheesy. I agree it requires knowledge , time and a lot of patience out it also you should check the chart always to know what is the happenings on the altcoin you've bbuying or selling. But at first it is difficult but in the following yyou will earn a lot Cheesy
You should stick to whatever venture that gives you money, usually if a certain thing gives us money we enjoy doing it. Gambling is good because it can give you temporary happiness so I think if we can do it the right way we should gamble and invest at the same time.

For me  i would  rather choose investment  than to gamble  because  if you would handle these two things it might be possible that your profits  on your investments would be used  for doing gambling which means that your investment would  be still useless because   you are just using it to gamble and  lose i all away. As we all know earning  money or bitcoin is not easy so we should  able to keep it or  invest more into other things.

it depends on what you want to get out of it all.

for me
- if i want to have some fun and also if i have some money to burn and also if i want to get out of the streass of investing i will go for gambling and have some fun in it.

- but if i want to make some profit, some real money and i am ok with the stress i will choose the investment instead.
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BLK the next 10X on: September 25, 2016, 05:10:42 AM
BLK can not rise at the moment there are a lot of people who has bought at the last pump which was not that long ago and they are still bag holding a lot of this coin so there will be no help for the pump unless there is a bigger drop so that these bag holders give up and sell and then buy on the next rise.
1296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too late for joining Bitcoin, which altcoin is best? on: September 25, 2016, 05:06:59 AM
Since this last market correction, you can get litecoin again at a pretty good price.   Despite it not being the $5 price it was a few months ago, it is still a good price right now with a lot of potential upside for remainder of year and into the next
Is that LTC price still good? Cheesy

the LTC price is not good right now it is awesome instead.

the price is low but at a fixed level which is the bottom of the price and it will not go any lower than this, check out the charts if you don't believe me. and there is only one way left for litecoin price to go and that is up.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: September 25, 2016, 05:03:33 AM
I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy

i think we were all like this some more and some less.

i was also a rookie and so confused about everything but my confusion was mostly because i was introduced to bitcoin by someone who did not know what it is himself and he said so many false information about bitcoin wallet and mining and a lot of other things about bitcoin.
but in time i learned all that and liked the idea of bitcoin and using it a lot.
1298  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: September 25, 2016, 04:58:57 AM
me i would buy a house (if the price increase alot) a gaming pc games of course and the left btc will gonna be for investment so my bitcoin can still grow

i think you have a miracle in mind not a price rise!
the price rise enough for you to be able to buy a "house", an expensive "gaming pc" and "invest the rest in a business" needs to be at least $5000 which is not going to happen anytime soon.
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gamble small amount i win and when i gamble big i loose. on: September 25, 2016, 04:54:22 AM
Gambling with small amounts is nice but I think its good to try it with big amounts, of course its never sure you will win because its not for nothing called gambling.
You can lose but also win its all in gambling, its risky.
I think sticking with small bets is a good idea, you'll have much more fun. of course in the end you'll lose but you will have so much fun.

Some people can lose big amounts of money without even realizing it until later, all because playing with small bets for a long time, so it's very important to always keep track of your money and never wager more than you can willingly allow to lose.

These thing must be considered  by  some gamblers out there which  usually claims that they are  just betting  on small amount in able  not to be broke  in the end. Therefore they are expecting already that they would lose in the end and  in situation that  they are playing   in everyday basis then  even those small amounts would pile up and  in  the long run it would be also  a huge amount therefore it doesnt matter  if you bet big  or small in the start , the result would be still the same.

gambling is all about losing in the end. that is why you should always try to stay in the middle and never reach the end otherwise you will end up losing. and the only reason why people try to continue betting with smaller amounts is the they want to try and prolonge this middle period when they are still winning.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double or Nothing on: September 25, 2016, 04:47:03 AM
Here's a thought experiment

If I offered you $100, you could take it and walk away.
Or, you could double it or lose it all based on a coin flip.

Now, you're presented with a situation where if you take the double down, and you lose, have you really lost anything?
You never had anything to begin with until I made you this offer. Would you feel regret for not taking the $100 in the first place?

Thoughts?  Grin

this sounds like a good experiment because of the free money Grin

but in all seriousness i think the real gamblers will take the bets instead of the money and those who said we take the money and go away are not gamblers and are only thinking about the money in all of this not the fun of gambling.

and by the way i think i am going to take the bets instead and make a couple of them.
