1281  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: October 18, 2016, 05:17:24 PM
Actually price of 1 bitcoin is higher than 1 gram of gold so still gold may come cheaper but talking about the potential price pump, bitcoin will always win this bet against gold/silver or other assets. And also it is easy to own smallest amount of bitcoin while owning/buying small amount of gold less than 10 gm is quite hard.

Why is owing gold less than 10g hard, you can readily buy 1g, 2.5g bars.  Fractional 1/20 (1.55g), 1/10th coins(3.1g), sovereigns, 1/2 sovereigns the list goes on and on.

Gold can also be bought in grains (not grams) which are 1/15 gram (although premiums get silly)

I also think that if Bitcoin wants to become bigger in the future they need to release more Bitcoin in to the world because otherwise people will not be able to make use f it.
Bitcoin will then stay on the same level and I think that it needs to become bigger.

You do realise that numbers are infinitely divisible.

1 bitcoin is enough for the world if you add enough digits after the decimal point.
1284  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 50+ BTC available (UKBT or PayPal) (You go first, always) on: October 18, 2016, 02:57:10 PM
I am getting less business now because you put negative reputation on me, when all you had to do was send me a friendly PM. If I still refused to use escrow then you should leave negative reputation. Not before.

Your getting less business now since I red flagged you, so how many deals have you done since yesterday when you registered and where is the profile feedback to match?

You are the guy who calls the prophet Muhammad a pedophile. Go to hell.

username = AlQaeda, how about you go to hell  Kiss

You do realise that a double negative = a positive  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Good to see you are concerned about the feedback I left the user "ISIS-fighter"

1285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unable to withdraw ETH from BTC-E on: October 18, 2016, 02:48:21 PM
BTC-e seem to have been selectively scamming for a long time.

point them to this thread and hopefully a bit of bad press will make them sort it out properly.
1286  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 50+ BTC available (UKBT or PayPal) (You go first, always) on: October 18, 2016, 02:09:27 PM
Localbitcoin will be the best bet for you,  no one is going to send you funds first here when you only registered yesterday with no trade history or profile feedback.

p.s. thanks for the neg feedback  Kiss

This person is attempting to stop me from dealing with other users without proof or reasonable suspicion I am anything other than honest.

Please detail how I am trying to stop you trading other than stating the obvious that sending funds to complete newbie with no trust feedback and no escrow as you refuse is a massive risk. Reasonable suspicion   Roll Eyes

!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

I would like to request you to remove my negative reputation. In return I will remove yours and close my thread until my LocalBitcoins is set up.

And blackmail doesn't sit well with me, I don't really care about the neg you left me, just add to all the other scammers that I have caught out.
1287  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 50+ BTC available (UKBT or PayPal) (You go first, always) on: October 18, 2016, 01:49:16 PM
Another newbie "you send first" scammer, I like your sale title "You go first, always"  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Escrow providers have a lot more trust and trade history than you, you are not willing to accept any risk but expect the buyer to assume 100% risk.

I also strongly advise you to avoid paypal -your asking to get ripped off.

Providing a signed message from your address holding the 50+BTC would be a good start to prove you actually own the bitcoin.  I have sneaking suspicion you will be unable/unwilling to do this (a crappy wallet screenshot wont cut it so dont waste your photoshop/ms paint time Wink )

so chelashin have pay you little amount by little amount for your effort? Looks kind of strange to me if he is so rich, why would he pay you in small amounts?

So how much is about 5 or 6 forum posts worth because thats all he did for him?
1289  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia Today UK bank accounts shut down by Jewish bankers on: October 18, 2016, 06:13:26 AM
This is a perfect example of what could happen to you in a cashless society.

If you dont play ball and conform then they will just blacklist you from the banking system, when you have no where for your wages to be paid in and no cash in hand your screwed.
1290  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 17, 2016, 08:03:01 PM
Yes, bitcoin would be good for both short term and long term whereas gold may be profitable only in long term like decades of holding. The growth potential of bitcoin is really unbelievable as the adoption rate keeps on increasing everyday.

But, gold is really losing its shining slowly as people are looking for other types of investments with the reason of saving gold is always a big challenge.

I am seeing the opposite in bitcoin, all I see is stagnation and not mainstream adoption.

Gold loosing its shine?  Dont think so :

1291  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2016, 07:50:26 PM
Actually, I think gold and bitcoin is an excellent investment. But it is undeniable gold is a better investment than the bitcoin. Because of the advantages of investment gold must be obtained for the price of gold per year has increased. While bitcoin is also good for investment, but the price is not stable and it is at risk.

Let's have a look at some charts and compare both options on their profitability as investment for 2 years.

Gold 1 year: 6.20% increase.
Bitcoin 1 year: 130% increase.

Gold 2 years: 1.6% increase.
Bitcoin 2 years: 76% increase.

That says enought as far as profitability goes. Gold lacks severely behind, but that's not really a big deal as people see it more as a store of value tool rather than an investment.

So what years have you picked for gold because gold is doing far better than that this year.

Gold up 17.49% the last 6 months.

Also how far has gold dropped from its all time high compared to bitcoin?

It is very easy to pick and choose data points from charts to fit the agenda you are trying to promote.

1293  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How To Help Sodomites? on: October 17, 2016, 05:40:43 PM
How to help all these sodomites? There are a growing number of people here in the west who have become sodomites. Sodomite propaganda is being pushed to people by a strong mainstream media campaign from very young age and many turn to sodomite practices, ruining their lives and mental health, causing the whole society to become more unstable.

I've always wanted to help these victims of this people-hating LGBT propaganda, but because many have been brainwashed so badly they don't even want to become normal and happy again. What should I do? Is there any effective method to help these people?

I dont think it ruins their lives and mental health just their sphincter  Grin Grin
1294  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Mastertrader777 / Toshi Desk not returning my funds. Almost 1.3BTC loss on: October 17, 2016, 03:44:30 PM
Firstly no one has a crystal ball.

If this guy is so great at making trading calls he would be a very rich man and would not need your funds, it is very easy to gamble with others money.

If he agreed to to refund your money then he should honour it but you not following his advice to the word is a bit of a get out clause.

There is no such thing as a risk free investment so if this guy is offering refunds if you make a loss he's as much of an idiot as you are for falling for this shit.

p.s. in your pm to me you state you are a student so you should have the intelligence to know better.

A harsh summary but all true

1296  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: October 15, 2016, 10:12:50 AM
I am also an atheist, but I believe that Muslims are not guilty of all sins.Blame the preachers who teach them from childhood to these traditions. You remember how Christians organized the Crusades and burnings at the stake of scientists.

People love moaning about the crusades, difference being that was a very long time ago and the human race has evolved quite a bit since then.

Preachers are the religion, if they are preaching hate and intollerance then that religious community should expose and out them.
1297  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: October 15, 2016, 09:35:42 AM
It seems to me that the time between different religions began competition for the minds of the parishioners, the Church lost its dignity and turned into a business. Now for this reason there is an attack on Muslims.

I think you are a deluded muslim not taking responsibilty for many of those that follow your religion.

I say that as an atheist.

But sure feel free to blame the church for all the muslim rapes, abuse of women e.g. stonings etc, female genital mutilation and terrorist attacks if it makes you feel better.
1298  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2016, 07:11:46 PM
ROFL this topic is actually fucking hilarious.
Bitcoin is an idea, but like Fiat currency, it is not really a tangible thing. Its an agreed upon payment method.
Although Bitcoin has a limited number that can be created, its fucking make believe internet money.
Once we are through with BTC we can just invent another coin.

Silver and gold are tangible elements that there is a limited supply of in the earth.
Once they are mined, that's the total supply. We can't just invent a new element and start using that instead.

I love Bitcoin and its a great idea, its a great thing. But comparing it to precious metals is not apples to oranges.
Its apples to make believe internet memes.

I totally agree,  over the past 4 years all profits I have made through bitcoin have been put into gold.

My first gold stack was sold just after Brexit and I made enough to pay off my mortagage and have a wad of cash left over for fun.

I have now started gold stack V2, up to £15,500 worth of gold sovereigns and counting Smiley

you are wrong.
please get better sources.
silver is rarer. gold price is boosted because money is backed by gold. gold should cost a lot, thats how this system works

You are wrong.

What money is backed by gold?

Fiat is backed by nothing, the gold standard finished a long time ago
1299  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2016, 07:04:30 PM
Silver is 9 times rarer than Gold.
Bitcoins is MANY times rarer than Silver.
It's your choice.
no transport or storing fees and so on.
that's one way answer - bitcoin

Silver is not rarer than gold, it is usually mined at a 17:1 ratio, silver is also often mined as a byproduct of other metals so cheaper to mine than gold.

How can bitcoin be many times rarer than silver? one is tangible the other is a digital number that is infinitely divisible.

1300  Other / Politics & Society / Re: As UK Pound Continues to Decline, Bitcoin Volatility Gets Revaluated on: October 14, 2016, 01:49:05 PM
the country needs to be turned on its head, we print money to live beyond our means and defer the liability to the next generation, we import everything and sell nothing except "financial services" whatever the fuck those are supposed to be, if a temporary crash in living standards is what it takes to rebuild our economy based on real things and ensure our race still exists 100 years from now when your grandkids are covering their brown skin with burkas, so be it.

Totaly agree, all these idiots keep going about the pound dropping like its never going to go back up again.

Short term volatility was fully expected even before the result was announced so why act shocked now  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The fact is the UK was a crutch helping to prop up the EU, thats now gone and Germany is just having a hissy fit because they will have to foot the bill.

The EU is doomed to fail.  France and Italy will soon follow the UK.
