341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fall to $8,500 is to buy Gold on: January 17, 2018, 05:02:37 PM
General consensus is commodities/gold/silver are entering a new bull market and 2018 is looking good.
342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fall to $8,500 is to buy Gold on: January 17, 2018, 04:54:36 PM
But if you ask me which one is likelier to be up 1,000% three years from now, the answer is bitcoin. It’s still just a $45 billion-dollar market cap.

People tend to forget the flip-side.

In 3 years time which is likelier to be worth nothing?

People here like to think thats impossible but its not.

I made good money in bitcoin but for me hard assets are always the end goal.

Got just under 400oz of gold + just over 750oz silver + Lambo Gallardo LP560-4 spyder on my bitcoin gains Wink
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fall to $8,500 is to buy Gold on: January 17, 2018, 04:15:04 PM
I sold all my crypto a few weeks back and put the lot into gold.

Seems I made the right call.

Hodl forever is bullshit, sometimes you need to take a step back and know when to take profit and stabilise your gains.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: January 17, 2018, 03:27:26 PM
Well, as a matter of fact both are nice investments in regard of usefulness but we all know that bitcoin has successfully beaten up gold in the race of most profitable investment and even real estate business is no exception. Gold is now much limited to ornamental uses because many gold investors have switched to bitcoin market for better use of their money. Bitcoin has greater tendency of generating returns than gold.

So how do explain why gold's market cap makes bitcoin's market cap look insignificant?
345  Economy / Speculation / Re: IT WILL HOLD 11800 !! - it is just NORMAL correction - just use MATH on: January 16, 2018, 10:14:38 PM
Currently $10501

Just goes to show all the maths, chart readings dont really count for shit.

Bitcoin price predictions are like are arseholes, everyone has got one.

Bitcoin is more profitable than gold.

unless you bought in at $20k
347  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What Came First, the Chicken or the Egg? on: January 13, 2018, 09:52:38 AM
The genetic modifications in a mutation that would make the change from some other bird to a chicken, are so great that they just don't happen all at once. So which chicken ancestor is not a chicken, but rather some other bird? And at which point do we start calling it a chicken?

Not all chickens are the same even now though.  A quick google revealed there are over 500 different types.

349  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Just got off the phone with Bitmain re next batch of S9 on: January 11, 2018, 11:03:43 AM
Your list is off, 200+ units people can order on their own and you don't consider PM only people here and on Reddit. The guy mentioned the group buy on Reddit so I imagine people are coming from there.
Due to s9 shortage at human prices all around the world people have registered only for this group buy.

My list is not off, I have just summarised what all the newbie members have posted.

I am not claiming every newbie account is dodgy but I am pretty sure many are.  Also a post on Reddit does not make it legit.

Top 4 newbie orders = over $1.8 million  Grin

Yup can confirm I met Nimo in SF. His deal looks solid and contacts in china are real.

@Mikeswildcreations.com

People like this make me think this is nothing but a scam.

Guy registers then 6 minutes later he finds this thread and is confirming the OP's identity.

There is also a disproportionate number of newbies and 1 post accounts jumping on board and ordering stupid number of miners probably in a bid to keep bumping this thread to the top and rope in a few muppets to hand over their cash.

This just looks suspicious to me:

351  Economy / Goods / Re: Honey straight from the Bees !!! on: January 08, 2018, 02:22:15 PM
so you all know, I got a small amount coming into the uk from this user, might bee a while (see what I did there?) as its a long way to go, I have no problem sending out a few samples to UK people once I have them. if there is enough demand I might proxy this and do a large order once a few months :-)

Hi Squall

I'm down for some honey once it lands in UK  - Hit me up on here and let me know prices / sizes.

Thanks man

Stick me down on the list too if you want to do a group buy Smiley
352  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When China will be the super power in the world beating USA? on: January 04, 2018, 03:35:18 PM
Well. actually as I said before western civilization destroying the world. we don't how long the world last from now if the world continue in this system like this. population is also too heavy for the mother earth now. i agree. but universe balance them. thats the law of universe. I think without the world destruction world will be reset with new a new system which will be born from eastern. Westerners done with the world.

You seem to be blaming the West for destroying the world.

How does China & India's world pollution level compare to the West?

What about fukushima & chernobyl?

Also the West is sustaining their populations, its countries like Africa that are unable to feed their people and rely on charity from the rest of the world to stop them starving.
353  Other / Politics & Society / Re: GOLD and TULIPS on: January 04, 2018, 01:59:50 PM
Your positive/negatives are not exactly balanced.

e.g for a negative for gold you have you cant eat it, you cant eat crypto either.

Easy to run with crypto?  If you have a usb with wallet.dat on it that could be confiscated or an online wallet but then you need access to a device, power, internet.  I would also say it was easier to buy goods with gold globally over bitcoin, maybe not directly but you can convert gold to the local currency anywhere on the planet.

There is a reason that pilots during the war were issued with gold sovereigns as part of their survival kit.

354  Other / Politics & Society / Re: All Muslims are terrorist? on: January 03, 2018, 09:00:07 AM
This question is perfect for who is not Muslim.
If yes and explain why?
As a Muslim, I am tired of condemning terrorist attacks being carried out by inherently violent people who hijack my religion. I am tired of condemning these attacks to people who are calm and apathetic when Muslims are killed by these same radicalized terrorists.

Not all of them are terrorist, because i know some muslim people are kind and generous. Maybe there are few but not all of muslims are bad. Its just they protecting there religion thats why they are killing others who sabotage they religion.

Well thats ok then.

Personally for every person a terrorist kills in the UK I would shut down 10 mosques and deport every member of their family.

Before you now it they would remove islam from the UK as they just cant help themselves when it comes to murder.
355  Economy / Goods / Re: Honey straight from the Bees !!! on: January 02, 2018, 10:47:54 AM

356  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does Aliens exist? on: January 02, 2018, 10:40:40 AM
I dont believe in aliens. Because they dont exist. Earth is  the only planet who is adequate to human race because of the oxygen and other requirement.

1) Why do you think alien life would have the same environmental needs as humans to survive?  Fish seem to do ok, try living under water for more than 10 minutes.

2) How can you say Earth is the only planet with a suitable environment for humans when as a species we haven't even stepped out the back yard in cosmological terms.

357  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe in aliens? on: January 01, 2018, 01:08:41 PM
Of course, not because they are not visible then they mean nothing. Even in the Al-Qur'an letters assyura verse 29 there is an explanation as follows:
"Among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the creatures that they transgress in which they distribute both, and He is able to gather them all as He wills."

So you dont believe in aliens because of the Qur'an, do you believe in flying horses?

Maybe at this point in history alien life is not visible due to the vast distances separating us just as deep see creatures were not known to us 100 years ago as we could not get down that deep to view them.
358  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all muslims are bad? on: January 01, 2018, 12:51:03 PM
Not all muslims are bad as we have been tricked to understood by the media in the west. Muslims are very good and principled. They are the best people to make as friends.

Could you explain why in Germany since the influx of muslim immigrants that they have had to erect pens to put women in for their safety to celebrate the new year and have had to introduce segregated train carriages for women only to protect them?

This is not a bad one or two, this is a massive cultural problem that proves they not compatible with the West's way of life.

359  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is science a religion? on: December 31, 2017, 06:36:29 PM
Religion claims to have all the answers and is not subject to change despite any proof otherwise.

Science establishes an answer through methodical and repeatable experimentation.  Theories are either proven or superseded by an updated theory based on new evidence or observations made.

Imagine the world without science, we would basically be living in caves with a life expectancy of around 40.

Now imagine a world without religion - bliss although people would have to find new reasons to kill each other.
360  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TIME MACHINE! on: December 29, 2017, 07:55:59 PM
In the future everyone will advance 60 minutes every hour.

But one persons 60 minutes is not equal to another persons 60 minutes.
