Originally the QR code was just done for cosmetic design reasons.

However I have just checked it using "QR Code Reader" on Android and it reads perfectly when scanned directly from the crystal

People here need to learn to have patience.

You invest a few $ and expect a 500% return the day it launches.

If you arent prepared to wait a reasonable amount of time for a return then dont invest.

The private key will be hidden with a hologram,  I can either place it on the LED base so the hologram can be seen through the crystal or it can be placed on the top/bottom of the crystal with the back of the paper blacked out so the key cant be seen through the crystal.

Another option is to just provide the hologram to the buyer and he can place it where he chooses when he has the item in hand.

Am I missing something, You say in your title "Only 128 coins" then in the text you say 250 coins.

Doesnt fill me with confidence when you dont even know the specs 

And on the flip side, I got my coins straight in the wallet with no issues and find the wallet easy to use.

He may be able to log into your seed and send to an exchange address for you.

The devs a probably really busy at the moment considering the coin just went live to give 1:1 support to everyone.

There are aware of some issues and have stated that the upcoming wallet build should sort the problems.

Hang tight and wait and see.
