1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your emotions balanced especially regarding Bitcoin on: January 13, 2023, 08:47:53 PM
Being emotional is the true nature of the people. When the same have got something connected to finance people easily turn emotional. People need to know well about the volatile market scenario. This will keep the common people's mind prepared for the best. When the portfolio value drops, people always look for maintaining it through some other means. This have landed people into gambling and other much riskier ways of moneymaking.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be banned or stopped by governments on: January 12, 2023, 09:07:42 PM
Government can ban Bitcoin but it cannot stop its network from running.  To support that, the government had been hunting and trying to shut down torrent sites and p2p sharing of files because it violates the law that protects artists but the government terribly failed in doing so.  It is almost impossible for a government to stop decentralized services in the internet because people who are involved in this process are scattered everywhere around the globe.

So Bitcoin having a decentralized nature can surely continue to operate despite strong resistance from the certain governments.
Being decentralized makes bitcoin network to continue running amidst the opposition from governments and other organizations. Even with the laws government was able to restrict the people from using it. Everywhere there are loop holes and people are well aware about it, and continue using it amidst the legality within the country. So the network can't be controlled or stopped by the government as mentioned above.
1303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 12, 2023, 08:59:07 PM
Well.. we need to look at the positives. As far as I can see, all of the senior Bangladeshi players are taking part in the BPL. No one has opted for the other leagues, such as the SA20, BBL and ILT20. BPL is being broadcasted around the world, including the main market of India (Fancode is livestreaming the matches). According to various sources, BPL has provided profits of $23 million since 2012. This is not a small amount and given the scope for future growth, there is a good chance that BCB can shrug off its dependence on the ICC, if they are able to further develop this league.
BPL used to be the second most popular franchise cricket league after IPL. But BPL has lost it's fame and popularity for the selfish behaviour of BCB. They are trying to make maximum profit by running this league by spending the lowest amount. BCB hasn't used advanced technology in BPL. The players aren't happy with the umpires decision, BCB isn't happy for the players behavior.
After IPL no other leagues were visible to the world. The promotion and the money matters. Now the franchise have turned to be the owners of more teams and at some point they'll be playing the leagues organized on different countries. Now itself the names were similar with the cities changed. For each league the franchise buys specific players. Only thing positive about these leagues, young talents gets opportunities.

Bangladesh Cricket Board isn't happy with the players act, and it is responsible to provide the necessary resources to conduct the matches in a well organized manner.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can players bet on their own games on: January 12, 2023, 08:49:39 PM
Each and every sports have got a ruling authority. According to the rules framed by these authorities it is against the rule to bet on their own games. Recently in an incident popular player was found spending on betting and he has been suspended from the team. It was really pity that what he might've won is very small compared to the amount he lost due to the suspension that lasts at least for a year.
1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 12, 2023, 03:50:42 PM
Srilanka won the toss and opted to bat first. A good decision as haze might play a role in the second half. Also the temperature tends to suddenly drop at night. I will not be easy for the Indian batters to chase the target set by the Srilankan batters. Any target which is 250+ would be good on this field.

Srilanka only managed to score 216 runs which isn't going to be enough. Nuwanidu Fernando made 50 runs before he was run out. The middle order batsmen failed and therefore they were not able to score big runs in the end.
Now India has scored 122 runs with four wickets down. The only chance for Srilanka to win here is to take some quick wickets. Otherwise India will easily win this match. India only require 3.5 runs per over from here onwards. Should be an easy win for them.
I thought Sri Lanka would score at least 300 runs but they lost all their wickets for just 216 runs.  But on the other hand, India has not been able to play very well.  Their run rate per over is almost the same as Sri Lanka's.  But India is playing to save their wickets.  So they can be expected to beat Sri Lanka. But I expected a better game from India but I don't see their performance accordingly
Sri Lanka might've scored atleast 280+ runs. Fortunately Sri Lanka kept losing wickets. Sri Lanka ended its innings at 40th over losing every wickets. Sri Lanka gave Good pressure,  but the performance from KL Rahul at the right time helped India win the match. If not this could've been a losing match for India. The bowling from India is really good and I expect this to continue with the upcoming matches against New Zealand.
1306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 12, 2023, 11:54:52 AM
I don't know what Sri Lankan batters are doing. They made a good comeback after an early wicket but now these guys are getting bamboozled by Kuldeep and Axar.

I was hoping for a big target chase but now it would be a miracle if SL crosses 200-220 mark.

101/1 to 126/6
Yadav continues his good form due to which he deserves a spot in the ODI team for the upcoming World Cup. Axar has turned out to be the perfect all-rounder for the Indian team in recent times.

This match will go to India too. I would be surprised if Sri Lanka actually manages to win one match in this series.
Axar have improved much compared to the beginning days of his performance. Target of 216 runs is reachable and for a surprise to happen Sri Lanka needs at least 3 wickets in the powerplay. For Rohit Sharma in good form seems to give a good start. To avoid unwanted wickets, India will play in a much slower way than scoring big runs per over.
1307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer and Crypto Guru Gambles Away Investor Funds on: January 11, 2023, 11:59:28 PM
This has been turning into a trend. People keep on losing their own fund on someone's gamble. I don't understand why these people are using someone's fund for their pleasure. If not he could've already mentioned about the risk of people's fund. Few will be interested, and from the winning he should settle certain percentage to the investors. In that case investors would bear the loss. This is completely wrong and he should find solution to settle the lost funds.
1308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 11, 2023, 11:58:16 PM
Casinos is a business and when someone eats big money from the casino's pocket, they find all possible ways not to give the winning fund. This is what happening with majority of such accusations where the winning amount isn't settled. We can just request for help and receive suggestions. For that purpose most of the time winners reach the forum.
1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 11, 2023, 11:53:15 PM
Pakistan again bowled well but the Kiwis bowled better. The whole Pakistani batting line up just collapsed. Only the Captain stood thier but was not that agressive considering the number of balls he faced. The series is now tied and the last ODI will decide who will win it. Pakistan are still the favourite but after today's game I think the Kiwis do have a chance.
Kiwi's gave their regular performance. Pakistan batsmen didn't perform well. In between the team had some improvement, once again team have turned to be dependent upon specific players. In the match it was Babar Azam and Rizwan to score. No more scoring players on the home ground. This is reachable target. Let's see what is the ability of Pakistan in the upcoming ODI.
1310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible? on: January 09, 2023, 11:16:47 PM
One third of the month got over and we've moved over $17000. If the growth happens in a gradual way as now reaching $20000+ seems to be possible. Expectation over the federal reserve of United States seems to be the reason for the rise in the market price. None is sure of how good the inflation gets limited. So, these growth are like temporary and lets wait for the real outcome.
1311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Digital dollar a threat to Bitcoin ? on: January 09, 2023, 11:12:05 PM
Cryptocurrencies success was only for its characteristics of being decentralized. While the Digital Dollar and Bitcoin may serve some of the same functions and be used for similar purposes, they have different characteristics and operate within different frameworks. It is possible that the introduction of Digital Dollar could have an impact on the use and adoption of BTC, but it is difficult to predict exactly how this would play out.
And NO, Digital Dollar will never be a threat to BTC.
The purpose for which bitcoin being innovated and for what reason these digital dollars were developed needs to be understood. This will clearly define whether digital dollars turn to be a threat for bitcoin. In reality digital dollars were developed to keep people away from bitcoin and to have people's fund under control whereas bitcoin is for financial freedom. So, there's big difference and the same won't let digital dollar to be a threat as mentioned.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 09, 2023, 11:07:34 PM

In the match between Khulna vs Chattagram, two Pakistani batsmen, Azam Khan and Usman Khan performed really well. Both of them basically single-handedly took their team to every respectable total. Both of them had centuries.

You know, In a T20 match, it is very hard to see centuries from a player. And we got to see two centuries in one T20 match. I know that this tournament is not turning out to be a good one. But it is really certainly entertaining. But it could be more entertaining. If this type of performance was seen from a Bangladeshi cricketer.

I am agreeing with you what a great performance by Usman khan from the Chattogram Challengers.103 run made from only 58 balls he made 10four and 5 sixes with 177 above is strike rate.
At first seeing Khulna Tigers' batting and Chittagong Challengers' poor bowling performance, I thought Khulna Tigers were going to win today but Chittagong Challengers' Osman Khan and Max O'Dowd proved me wrong.  The great partnership between the two of them will be memorable in this year's BPL.

Usman Khan have played in a very responsible way, if not he could've gone out earlier. Though they hadn't lost wickets, the team won the match at the last over. This is the real play than going for big shots and experiencing pressure at the end overs. Chattogram Challengers seems to be confident chasing targets, because they won the toss and decided to bowl first.
1313  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammers use too much brain on: January 09, 2023, 11:00:47 PM
This has been happening with the cryptomarket for a long. People only need to be aware and keep their funds secure. Myself too came across the stream and made a cross check. I don't know how precise these people are getting into scam attempt through the YouTube which used to broadcast verified contents.

This is through stream, apart from this there are exchanges that look similar to the original exchanges. Need to be careful with the url and entering the login credentials. This have made many people loss their funds.
1314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 08, 2023, 11:43:03 PM
Loss lets us analyse and understand what all the mistakes we've done. With wins we just enjoy it, and we don't have much learning because our prediction have coincided with the reality. Loss lets an user go for improvement to mark his/her success.

With trading we need to win at some time interval, because continued loss will surely make the trader go emotionally down. Going down on trading could ruin his/her trading practice. At such situation atleast need to find a way of copy trade to book profit.
1315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 08, 2023, 11:21:37 AM
Australia vs South Africa test match have reached the final day. South Africa trail by 174 runs at the end of session 2. As a day's game isn't played due to rain, this match have turned to be a draw. If not this could've been a winning match for Australia. Already Australia leads the test series 2-0 and now it is a draw. So there is no more changes. The win keeps Australia strong for the upcoming tour of India.
The series is won by Australia 2-0. There is a great balance within the Australian team, coupled with one of the most cohesive units I have ever witnessed. This match is hard to judge due to West Indies' outclassing and South Africa's terrible performance. The real test will be in India. The chances of Australia winning this time around are better. The only balanced team in tests at the moment is Australia.
Agreed, rather than balanced performance I see consistency in the performance. India on the other hand have got good cricketing team, but it fails to perform as the team is moving to be player centric. Australia is different, if one isn't fitting the position the next one does it. Lets wait, in all means after Australia vs England it is India vs Australia which is very interesting to watch.
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on the future of Decentralised exchanges on: January 08, 2023, 10:17:16 AM
Whenever some issue arise with the centralized exchanges, people starts to discuss about the decentralised exchanges usage. Within specific time once again people starts claiming CEX to be the best as it gives the ease of access and support can be requested on need. However decentralised exchanges have the real good in it, and the volume requirement keeps users away from using it. With time this will change as people find decentralisation good against the centric power.
1317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Cassino Continue With Wagering Requirements, If Abuse is Eliminated? on: January 08, 2023, 10:10:05 AM
Wagering is the key process with which the casinos make the revenue. If there is no wagering requirements, then what casinos pay as bonus and promo were just an unwanted spending for them. When people continue to wager, they can be on the winning and losing streak which brings revenue to the casino. Casinos continue with wager requirements amidst the abuse, however things were organised abuse will continue to happen.
1318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A superstitious strategy? on: January 08, 2023, 09:58:59 AM
Superstition is just a coincidence with the true outcome. If a gambler is superstitious and have won, then it is his /her luck that have brought the win. But superstitious people never find it out of luck, and when lost they don't connect with the superstition for which they term it to be bad luck.

A gambler losses/wins out of luck, and at times the strategy used to be successful and at times it brings success. Whenever one is in the winning streak it is good to continue it, and take a break when you're on the losing streak.
1319  Other / Archival / Re: who played here? on: January 08, 2023, 04:37:11 AM
This guy have requested about the existence and the trust of the casino and went away. He hasn't mentioned anything on the conclusion reached. Why people look for such casinos when we've got a good list of trusted platforms for gambling. Same as this we can see more threads being created and this too a way to make people discuss about the platform as well to give a try. In all way people getting trapped can't be saved, if they're ready for it.
1320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the maximum number of loosing streak possible in dice with 20%/5x win? on: January 08, 2023, 04:24:42 AM
I haven't tried with 5x return on the bet value. I've tried with 3x return on the bet value. Roll over 67 and roll under 33, upon this I've experienced continuous loss of 12 bets. On consecutive betting on under 33 and over 67 I've won good. So, we can't be sure about the algorithm and the results. Things vary in reality and this too has some connections with luck.
