1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 19, 2022, 09:58:29 PM
Every big team in a league can have a really bad season. This is totally normal of course. I remember a Chelsea example like they made the same start and they were really close to the relegation area for some time also. They started to make things a little better for themselves later on and finished the league in one of the middle places at least. It feels like it will be the same for Sevilla also. I just hope so honestly because it would be very shocking to see a team like Sevilla relegating from the league.

It looks like their main issue is not related to the manager. They have made a change but everything is the same now. It must be related to the players. Maybe they are still mentally weak and they need something strong to start recovering. I hope to see a different Sevilla in the second half of the season.
Nah, Sevilla is just so messed up. Perhaps the whole team and system needs a complete overhaul if they are to get back to the top of their game. In the first half of last season they were so good only to bottle up in the second half of the season. Their poor form woes in this season just continued from last season and I do have any hope from them this time round as well.
1322  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rainbow Indicator drop on all time low on: November 19, 2022, 09:46:05 PM
Well, there is always a first time for everything. For example, they said Bitcoin had never gone below the previous year's all-time high until it did smash past 20K in May this year during the LUNA crash. Personally, I have never trusted the Rainbow indicator. I mean, someone can draw it from many different angles and curvatures to fit the narrative of the Bitcoin price trend over time.
1323  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportbet.one - SCAM on: November 19, 2022, 09:28:12 PM
Is it just me, or one cannot even load the website?

If the website is up for sale with a blank page as shown in the screenshot, then how did OP manage to use it to place bets?
How did he contact support?
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, BitMEX and KuCoin have delisted FTX Token pairs from their crypto excha on: November 18, 2022, 09:57:46 PM
The FTT/BTC, FTT/BNB, FTT/ETH, and FTT/USDT trading pairs have been deleted off Binance's platform, according to the company, since they did not pass recent checks. The FTT/BUSD pair is still accessible on the market, the exchange stated.
Funny for an exchange that is trying so hard to promote it's shitcoin BUSD. Why did they delist FTT/USDT then? I doubt if it was about volume

The perpetual swap contracts related to FTT have been delisted by all exchanges except Binance and BitMEX. Its FTT/USD and FTT/USDT pairings are included in this. The exchange explained their justification for delisting as a drop in spot trading of the pairs. KuCoin has delisted their FTT/USDT perpetual contract on KuCoin Futures, similar to BitMEX.
Then why are you saying that all the exchanges mention delisted FTT?
As far as I know, Bitmex announced just a few days ago that the token could be trading on the platform
1325  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Roslinpl scammer on: November 18, 2022, 08:59:33 PM
What happened:I saw that roslinpl is active again, after a few years of silence, I tried to contact him but he ignores me.
The account is most likely to have been sold or stolen sometime back. Doubt if the new owner even cares about reputation, as they went straight out to advertise scam (1xbit) as soon as they got back in the forum

1326  Economy / Service Discussion / perfectmoney.com or perfectmoney.is, which domain name is legit? on: November 18, 2022, 08:38:12 PM
I am looking for an option of creating an account with perfect money for some currency exchange stuff I want to do, but I have never used the platform before, so I am not sure which domain is correct (and which one could be malicious)?

A Google search brings up "perfectmoney.is" on top and the followed by "perfectmoney.com"

Members who are familiar with perfect money, which domain name is legit?
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 17, 2022, 09:43:42 PM
It's still too early for Arsenal I think, indeed in this case I am quite aware that they are now really playing very well but on the other hand we are also aware that City can still catch up at any time now especially with the condition that they have not played this season.
The season is still far away and Arsenal still have to play effectively to keep them competitive and maintain their current position. As for this title, it's still fifty-fifty.
The problem is people actually think Arsenal can't do it. All they keep focusing on is Manchester City. Just like the way it is in Champion's League, until Real Madrid showed them who's boss last season.

The Manchester City people keep hyping also keeps blanking in some games...lol. Arsenal can make it if they keep the same tempo. City can do nothing about it.
1328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 17, 2022, 09:35:49 PM
Ronaldo unhappy with his former team manchester United, where he thought he would make history and legend. .
Former team? You mean he has already left United?  Grin

Anyway, Manchester United blunder was to sign Cristiano because they had a feeling he would go to the City rivals. They should have just let it be. Ronaldo right now knows that he has nothing to lose given that he's been on bench most of the time, hence he decided to say whatever he could.

One thing I like about him is his honesty. When he's gone. It's up to Manchester United to act and improve, or just ignore and remain an average club.
1329  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Providing fake 5* reviews on: November 17, 2022, 09:05:24 PM
Due to these fake review providers, people don't have an idea about the right service so they get cheated easily. Even if a website has top level positive reviews nowadays, you should think twice before using any service from them. This kind of service is definitely illegal. And according to the policy of all other companies including Google, such fake reviews are also illegal. Such service providers are considered scammers and it is safe to stay away from them.

Lately, I never even bother looking so much on positive reviews of any service. Instead, I do the reverse, checking out the negative and critical reviews. A legit service will have a dozen folks complaining about simple issues that can get resolved.

If a service has only 5-star reviews that were made at a particular period, then there is something wrong with the reviews.
1330  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Ca777ino.uk Fake Gambling Website... on: November 17, 2022, 08:56:00 PM
His explanation

Quote
ok, I'll explain in brief, I found a vulnerability in the code on which this site is written, with which I can make any player a winner, I propose to make you a winner and divide the profit in half, https://ca777ino.uk/ go to the site and choose any player who is now betting, write me his nickname and I will make him the winner, thereby proving my veracity.
Hahaha, what a lame explanation from him. If the gambling platform for legit, He would write to them about the exploit in exchange for a bounty. Also given the greedy nature of most human being, I doubt if he would share the exploit with any random stranger online
1331  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cleo.finance - Trading platform for no-code crypto bots on: November 16, 2022, 09:40:40 PM
I have a question. Is it possible to set up a stop loss which works more like a trail stop loss order, mostly based on if the price reaches the target price or not.

For example, assuming I bought BTC at $20,000 and my target price is 10% for profit which is $22,000 (on a risk reward ratio of 1, my stop loss is around $18,0000). Once the trigger price hits $22,000, I would like a new stop order to be placed at $24,000 and stop loss at $20,000.if BTC price keeps going by 10%, and so does a new target and stop loss. Is this possible?
1332  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: November 16, 2022, 08:56:13 PM
Then I listened to CZ binance space defending his decisions on the exit.
Wait, people still listen to these crappy "crypto billionaire" CEO's?

Our escape to crypto was away from the lying, corrupt, greedy and dishonest politicians and lawmakers. All the so-called CEOs and big wigs you see currently in the crypto community are just a replica of the normal world politicians and rich folks.

They will do whatever it takes to keep their position at the top, including lying. I don't trust any of them
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where would you stake stablecoins now? OKx KYC Bonus on: November 13, 2022, 09:44:32 PM
My main question is where you'd stake your stablecoins now.
No where, because it doesn't like the idea of staking. I choose cryptocurrencies because I want to avoid how banks make money out of our savings while giving us very little interests in return.

Someone help me understand, What's the point of risking one's funds to stake for a 10% APY if I can make that very amount is a very short time with a perfectly executed purchase of bitcoins on the dip?
1334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 13, 2022, 09:34:36 PM
If I had such contract I guess I would say the same things as well.  Grin  He is already making insane amount of money here. There is no reason for him to leave as long as things don't go too bad among him and Messi-Neymar duo. I don't think that any other team would like to offer even the same contract to Mbappe now.
You sure about this?

Do you think PSG is the only club whose owners have such ridiculous amount of money? Can we talk about Manchester City, Newcastle United to mention but a few  Grin
Mbappé will eventually leave PSG. Happiness is not always about the money.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you avoid anything funded by Alameda Research / FTX ? on: November 13, 2022, 08:35:23 PM
I just sold my 150 Solana out of FUD ( thinking I might buy it back at $5 soon ), and I am now worried many other projects were backed by Alameda Research. Are these projects doomed too, or can some of them ( like Helium ) survive and eventually thrive again ?
Most likely... We already had projects like Serum Network  having their native tokens dumb so badly due to the strong connection with Alameda.

The bear market is still on. I think we are yet to see more and more coins collapse especially if the Alameda money mess caught up with them too. I wouldn't touch any coin connected to Alameda for now.
1336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 13, 2022, 08:19:36 PM
Benzema has proven that he deserves to remain the best in the Spanish league and the Ballon D'or is one proof that he is indeed the best, at this time Benzema performance at Madrid has not reached its peak like last season, while this season Benzema has only played 12 times in all competitions but his contribution is still quite large by scoring 6 goals, the decline in Benzema goal collection can not be separated from the injuries that continue to be experienced by Benzema, but I think if Benzema returns to  fit condition of course he will return to being a madrid predator .
I also feel the endless injuries have affected the momentum of his form but whenever he plays, you get to realize why Real Madrid miss him so much.

We shouldn't also forget that Vini hasn't been himself this season. The partnership between him and big benz worked so well last season.
1337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is this online web wallet safe? on: November 12, 2022, 09:56:07 PM
I want to buy some coins right now and I found out the project has no standalone wallet yet, you can only open a wallet through their online platform and they claimed its fully open source, the name of the project is PoKT Network.

I want to know if it's safe to use a web wallet that's open source for a while? I remember Elcetronuem using the same kinda wallet in 2018 and it works very well if you know how to keep private keys safe.

https://wallet.pokt.network

Yeah, it's open source - https://github.com/pokt-network

Web wallets are mostly not trusted because chances of getting a phishing attack are so easy. But you can actually create the wallet offline. I just checked it out. The link is from the official site, so there is no need to worry.
1338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Why was Mane called up? on: November 11, 2022, 09:26:47 PM
I be placing full blames on Senegalese National Team honestly, they should have informed Bayern Munich of how Sadio Mane is vital for em to give him lesser game time at the last few games to avoid unnecessary injuries. Same goes to Bayern Munich, he should have been rested, why over use him ?
He has a contract with them (Bayern Munich), how exactly did you expect Senegal to convince Bayern Munich to rest Sadio Mané, especially during the time they were trying to tighten on the top spot from Stubborn Union Berlin?

It's unfortunate that he got injured during the critical time, but I don't think you can change one's fate?

Look at Marco Reus of Germany. Dude has got to be one of the unluckiest players alive.

All the usernames have been guessed i suppose, looks like this one was slightly easier if one had to use BPIP.org and just look out for the list of profiles with the most posts (https://bpip.org/Report?r=mostposts) and skim through the list Smiley
1340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Borrowing against your coins a bad or good practice? on: November 11, 2022, 08:51:05 PM
The examples of failed companies listed above aren't a proof that lending is impossible or that the business idea is doomed. Those are examples of greedy companies that were playing with the funds they had.

They wanted to make more money so they were engaging in risky games of investing with leverage and like SBF did throwing money at every possible investment option. They threw billions at Alameda but how much did Alameda make for them? Not nearly as much.

I agree that it's more risky than simply holding volatile cryptocurrencies. You'd have to find a regulated transparent company.
It's funny that the main reason most of us here believed in Bitcoin and other legit cryptos was because we wanted full control of our funds and also avoid shitty third party institutions like banks that make money out of our money.

The same exact thing with the so-called borrowing and lending DeFi projects. Very centralized, very corrupt and full of fund mismanagement. You only see it when it was too late. Two weeks ago, did you have any idea the FTX had all this ugly things it did behind the scenes?
