1321  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What Websites Can You Spend Bitcoins On? on: June 12, 2013, 05:44:22 PM
How do you know there revenues? Not calling you out or anything, but are there charts
you look at somewhere about the industry reviewing revenue per month about Bitcoins?

You are right that Bitcoiners love to spend their btc on the net. There is an exciting factor behind it.

There are thousands of websites. You'll have to consult a directory Grin

Here's one site that accepts bitcoins: Amagi Metals

They made $50,000 in bitcoin sales in March after beginning to accept BTC, with very little advertising. In one day in April they made $220,000 in bitcoin sales. The BTC community LOVES to spend their bitcoins on stuff on the internet - despite what the butthurt occupy wall st. bears will tell you "Lol the problem with bitcoin is that no one actually uses it to buy stuff, everyone just hoards it like greedy 1% speculators." I say BULLSHIT! Look around you Grin
1322  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Web Hosting Site For Auction on: June 12, 2013, 05:04:44 PM
That's not only the case. Not everyone is in tuned to resell hosting or making a
profit from it without the right person involved in guidance and helping out.

The description says it all. I'm not leaving the buyer just a site/domain,
it's helping getting them on the right foot in the business. Thanks for your feedback.
1323  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Web Hosting Site For Auction on: June 12, 2013, 04:55:03 PM
To answer everyone's question: There isn't any customers on board yet.

The person who buys it is in control of generating all revenue and traffic.

I didn't say I am the designer, but I created it for someone looking to
get in on the action quickly, without spending countless hours working on it.

1325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will be used to pay employees? on: June 12, 2013, 07:44:56 AM
I don't think bitcoin will make it as an official currency in place of the USD. Simple answer: no.

Although I believe that employees shouldn't get paid with it at all times just in case of the influx of the market. Some peoples ability to pay their bills might be at risk if values drop.tough call.
1326  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Web Hosting Site For Auction on: June 12, 2013, 07:40:24 AM
There is multiple streams of value here. I'll even guide you in terms of advertising and SEO.

If you set a goal here, and add valuable content for the community about security/hosting, you'll gain more business.

Need more information? I got tons, you just got to start somewhere, you know?

1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal's Employee Policy on Bitcoin on: June 12, 2013, 07:33:17 AM
Well said PayPal. Can't blame them for a quality response to the Bitcoin industry. They didn't seem to offend anyone.
1328  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: SteamBits.com - Buy Video Games with Bitcoins! Sale: GRID 2!! on: June 12, 2013, 07:31:15 AM
How long does it take to receive the game after paying for the game?

I made a post here in this section already, but doesn't cost to try: there was a daily promo that I lost on the Dungeon Siege: Complete Pack and I f*cking want DS:2 and DS:3. Have you got the game on the daily deal? (it was for only 5 Bucks)

Hi DarkHyudrA,

Sorry to disappoint, but I do not have this deal.  Sad

1332  Economy / Marketplace / Re: BEST charting and technical analysis tool for Bitcoin (so far) launched today on: June 12, 2013, 04:58:42 AM
Who created this? I presume this is something you developed?

It does look like what you claim. I'll have to try it out and see if it matches as the "BEST" in the industry.

Hi Guys,

https://www.tradingview.com/e/?symbol=MTGOX:BTCUSD# here you will find historical and real-time Bitcoin charting. I think they added Bitcoin just today.

You can create custom tomeframes like, 7 minutes, 13 minutes, 58 minutes, etc. You can create charts using non-time based resolutions like Renko, PnF, Price Breaks and Kagi.

You can apply drawing tools, like trandlines, Ganns and Fibos. You will no longer need to do it in Paint or by applying a ruler to your monitor.

You can overlay BTCUSD with EURUSD for cross-currency analysis.

And of course you can apply many indicators. You can also calculate risk/reward ratios on the trades you want to take.

1333  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.BITSTAMP.net Bitcoin exchange site for USD/BTC on: June 12, 2013, 04:45:38 AM
Great idea. I used bitstamp for the first time for a few transactions, and I was completely satisfied. Keep up the good work!

The Email confirmation security feature is a huge PLUS. Good work!

BITSTAMP ADDS WITHDRAWAL E-MAIL CONFORMATION

As the popularity of crypto currencies increases, so do the chances of unauthorized account logins. Although Bitstamp is constantly pursuing the highest standards of security, we cannot guarantee for security breaches, which result from the actions of our users.

To raise the level of protection, Bitstamp provides email conformations for withdraws. The new safety feature, which offers additional protection of our users’ funds, includes the option to make E-mail Confirmations of bitcoin, ripple and bank withdrawals. This option, along with the highly recommended Two-factor Authentication, forms a solid security standard, which will surely gain wide recognition and use among our users.

To setup this feature go to Account > Security > Withdrawal e-mail conformation and choose the preferred setting. We highly recommend you also setup two factor authentication for accessing your Bitstamp account.
1334  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling 15,000 BTC at $0.20/BTC on: June 12, 2013, 04:40:05 AM
I'll do the math. In 2010 when this post was created, it would cost you $3,000 to buy 15,000/BTC for only $0.20

Now, imagine if you Bought all those bitcoins, and forgot about them until now today.. "oh shit, I've got bitcoins!"..

Lets get to selling for the market exchange prices today!

Sell: 15,000/BTC X $109/USD* Estimated = You made: $1,635,000 USD

In 3 years time, you'd be a millionaire because of bitcoins..

That's $545,000/year just because you had $3,000 to throw
on an *IDEA* that Bitcoins would be worth something later.

Crazy how opportunity hits us in the head, and we couldn't see it at the time.
1335  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Web Hosting Site For Auction on: June 12, 2013, 03:07:33 AM
The buyer will remain anonymous of purchase (decision is yours). No details will be listed about who bought the site and for how much.

There is also a reserve price for this auction. In case I receive an offer outside of the forums or third party sites with an offer,
I have the right to no longer have this for sale here, and sell it to the party that bought it first. First come first serve!
In addition, trust and communication is a major factor in this purchase. I have the right to refuse the sale.

This is an easy pezy decision for the right business person. The auction is with a timer, here it goes!

Timer removed. End time: 2013-06-13+08:00:00UTC
