1321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might never reach it's ATH anymore on: August 10, 2020, 11:56:58 AM
Bitcoin will get ATH this year or next year. Before bitcoin prices can get a high peak, people will see how strong bitcoin at the market and try to buy bitcoin before it's too late. Every year bitcoin prices fluctuate, and the halving makes the reward reduced, which can trigger the price to increase significantly in the future. We will see how high bitcoin price will be in the future, but meantime, we can prepare ourselves by having many bitcoin from now on.

Basically if we search for the pattern, you will found out that the all time high occurs 1 year after the halving occurs. This just my speculation and this is no 100% true, this just based on my thoughts and thinking. Maybe in 2021, bitcoin's price will soon goes up like another ATH but it still depends on the factor that will affect its price.

But we should not rely on that information, as bitcoin is very volatile and as we are patient, we should always keep our mind on track in the market so that we are ready when its price suddenly moves.
1322  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Boosting Morale for newbies. Giving newbie a merit. on: August 09, 2020, 03:19:49 PM
Bro @jademaxsuy, save your merit and don't give them that easily.

Don't distribute them with only a single posts from them because they can make one but that will not guaranteed them as an effective member here.

Everyone can make a single post that is informative but the question is, how long they will do that?
If there's no reward, will they continue to make posts like that?

It is true that just continue exploring this forum to find those users who truly deserve to earn a merit with their hardwork and effort.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 09, 2020, 02:17:00 PM
As what cabalism said is true if it is 50-50 but when it comes to betting that is not 50-50 is you should be knowledgeable what you want to bet. Take the post above as an example about horses. It is also the same other sports like basketball, soccer and more that needs gathering information in which team to bet.

In 50-50 you really need to be lucky when dealing with the risk. It is a matter of choice on depending on the odds and your preferences. As what @cabalism have said, it doesn't matter where to bet because at the end of the day, it is luck that will make you win that game.

In terms of horse racing, you should know the odds, the horse with the low and high odds so you have basis on where you will place your bet and also you are confident about your money. At least, you have basis, but if you still lose, that's really a problem because you are not lucky that time as a bettor.

In some gambling games, there's a good bettor, but if it is a luck-based game, feel free to bet depending on your mood.
1324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic things that you need to know before starting in trading on: August 09, 2020, 12:24:09 PM
This could also be placed in a Beginners & Help for those newbies that have no idea about trading.

By the way, this topic is really essential so that they will not be shocked about how trading works. They will have prior knowledge that will help them to minimize their losses and earn profits depending on how they are committed in to trading. Not all are getting successful so people should know how to deal with the risks in the market when trading.

They also need to know that the fate of their trading depends on how effective they will become when they grow as a trader.

1325  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Can show economy on: August 09, 2020, 10:47:43 AM
It's probably more dependent on the US dollar psychologically I'd say.

But this time, during economic crisis, we felt some improvement in bitcoin's price although we are suffering this pandemic. It increases from $9k to $11.7k USD which is good for everyone.

How can you say that bitcoin can show economy?

So probably you're saying that whales can somehow help our economy grow if they want to, they are our hope towards economic success?

Bitcoin is more volatile depending on the factors that can affect it, somehow coincidences are happening in the market.

1326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beirut explosion - Lesson to learn from this. on: August 09, 2020, 09:23:36 AM
For me, the lesson that this tragedy has brought to me is that never ever let anyone suffer. I donated some amount to Lebanon authorities because I believe that a simple help will matter to them the most. If you have some spare amount of money, don't hesitate to give them because they are really affected by this unfortunate events, pandemic and this tragedy.

I learned here that the sense of money will become useless when you don't use it in a correct way. No matter what coin you're holding if you don't put it into a place where someone will benefit, it will become valueless. So as you are holding cryptocurrency, if you are earning profits, donate some on Beirut.

I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of cryptocurrency investors who are also affected. We can grow our assets but they can't easily recover from all of the damages that this tragedy brought them.

1328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people think Bitcoin is a scam? on: August 08, 2020, 12:17:18 PM
Many "Bitcoin haters" see it as a Ponzi scheme, so without doing any research or understanding what Bitcoin really is, they accused it being a scam.  Aside from that, there are lots of criminal due to the "decentralized" nature of BTC exploited it and use the name Bitcoin to scam lots of investors.

Some people who make a bad rumor about bitcoin are those people who hates bitcoin.

They are making false information that bitcoin can easily be scammed, can easily be stolen, and not for those people who are not aware. But that's not true, bitcoin is safe and secured if you are aware about those scamming. Scams are easy to determine so it is not really a problem, you can report it if you find one.

Also the reason why people are thinking that bitcoin is a scam, it is because it is not an easy money and you need patience and good control in order to grow with it.
1329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 08, 2020, 09:51:59 AM
Do you think that scams harm Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies' reputation in the mainstream world?

Absolutely yes! This is really a hindrance for us to achieve mass adoption faster. These scams are really getting popular and cryptocurrencies are the tool that is being used for it. Although, fiat currency are the most used tool for scamming, but now that we are engaging into a more digitized transactions, cryptocurrencies are used for crimes.

It have some effect but it doesn't last that long. A lot of scams that happened and bitcoin just kept in comkng or bouncing back giving more profits to its users and investors. People here in our province thought it is a scam since it is reported in the news but they realized it is not since I've been using it 2 years since that news reporting.

It will not last longer if we try to support its legitimacy in the community. If we tell them and showcase the benefits and advantages of bitcoin, they will realized that bitcoin is a source of profit and can store value. Bitcoin do really need a lot of support from the community to fight against those bad things where crypto was being used.
1330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why there are too many topics related to Crypto Scams here? on: August 07, 2020, 08:27:22 AM
If I'm not mistaken, I remember someone already linked all of the topics related to Crypto scams here in Beginners & Help.

I can't find the original post, but on that topic, he listed all of the titles where you can read many types of scam that those criminals are using to fool and steal money from people.

I will update the link of the posts once I found it.

For me, the reason why there are a lot of crypto scam topics here is because it is a must be aware about the schemes and strategies that they are doing to lure people in many platforms that they are attacking. We just need to become vigilant when it comes to that because that's a big deal, it involves those money that we have worked hard for.
1331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling going to be regulated on: August 07, 2020, 07:03:21 AM
Already in several countries gambling is regulated. Very few countries follow it in a strict manner, while majority just stay liberal and give importance when something serious as suicide happens. Regulations were a must, but those regulations need to keep both the users and the gambling platform owners on the safer side.

That's the problem when people got really mentally affected after a huge loss in gambling, you can't fully blame the casino because it is the person's will to have that losses.

Regulation is really required to maintain control and balance between the two variables.

When it comes to gambling, it can really have a huge impact to someone who are not that knowledgeable about the risks of gambling that's why they end up having a miserable life.

Online gambling to become regulated is really a good approach to help gamblers keep on track and control their emotion and have limits to prevent these suicides, mental problems, and addictions. I'm not really a fan of gambling because I'm an investor, although they both have risks, investments are much safer.
1332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing In Crypto Genuine Better Than Trading Forex on: August 07, 2020, 06:31:30 AM
I wasted a lot of money without making a single profit.
You shouldn't be investing a lot of money into something you have not properly adapted to. The same process should be applied for a completely new trader; do your research, practice on demo, pick a strategy and start small.

This is the number one rule in investment, do not invest if you are not sure about how that things work or happen. If you're not good at it and you don't feel to grow on that platform, then don't push it. There's always a risk when it comes to asset and money, it takes a lot of courage for you to pursue the investments that you want to engage.

If you are sure about your fate in an investment that you will do, then you can risks a lot of money if you somehow have control about the results of your investment.

It is about sacrificing, it is about facing the consequences that you will have in cryptocurrency.

But for you, you found Crypto Genuine project much effective for you so deal with it, we really have different preferences and skills when it comes to that.
1333  Economy / Economics / Re: What should you learn so you never get affected by a economic crises ? on: August 07, 2020, 06:01:06 AM
Computers can't troubleshoot their issues on their own, it do really need someone who will manually fix those problems in a system.

Once those robots are broken, they are useless, unless, we, humans, will let them become fixed and functions again normally. So in order to become not that affected by an economy crisis, we should be independent and work on our own. We're not robots, we are not dependent on the things that make us work hard.

Due to the number of business and companies that uses computer, man labor is being outpowered by those machines.

1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Flooding in China effect on bitcoin on: August 07, 2020, 05:21:51 AM
If the flooding actually ended up doing damage, halting the operations of the miners, then undoubtedly there will be a decrease in hashrate. How big/small will the decrease be? That's probably the better question. I don't think this will have any effect on the price at all. It's not like Bitcoin will be super unsecure once some of the Chinese miners turn off their machines.

Tragedies like this can really cause a huge impact to an economy.

But for China, I don't think that this is a huge problem for them. They have a stable and well-grown economy so to rebuild those destroyed establishments for them is really not an issue. These flooding can really tear down all of those existing businesses in their country. We all know that in China, there are a lot of bitcoin miners, maybe this can affect them the way they think about their safety.

Just like what happened in Beirut, Lebanon, this tragedy can really affect all parts of the economic sector, including cryptocurrency or any assets that they store in their houses.

1336  Other / Meta / Re: Protecting Your Account on: August 06, 2020, 04:50:25 AM
I've personally set a fake email for my account, that way even if they do discover it, it can't be used to reset my password.

If you use this method, just make sure the domain can't be bought, since that way they could just create the email and reset it that way.

This is the thing that I'm talking about, using fake email address so whenever the hackers tried to steal my email, they will become fooled by this.

We all know that privacy and security is the number one thing to protect and strengthen when we use a platform such as like this forum.

You are responsible with your own account so it depends on you on how will you make your security strong enough to defend yourself from those hacks and scams that may attack you out of nowhere. Just work on how you will safely access the forum without fear of losing your account, be confident and protect your account at all times.
1337  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance trading bots are garbage on: August 06, 2020, 04:20:00 AM
You really have freedom to choose if you will choose their trading bot or not.

You can read a lot of reviews or feedback towards their platform so that you will not be disappointed about your experience using it. Probably, you're saying that their bot is garbage because you didn't use it effectively as you use it. However, if you're a good trader and a wise investor, you will never settle the fate of your assets in using trading bot. You should know how trading really works manually, you should know how to read the market and not relying on the trading bots.

That why they end up getting disappointed by the bot results.
I'm sure that this is his mindset towards using trading bot. He needs to understand that there's no easy money in dealing with the market.
1338  Economy / Economics / Re: Pray for Our World (Pray for Lebanon) Another Economic Crisis on: August 06, 2020, 03:47:15 AM
I saw this is in the news about a blast and i thought it was a terrorist attack and i really never understood these extreme measures for decades and i ignored as i do not want to see the gore but in this case it was unsafe storage of chemicals which is not acceptable at any cost and around 80 people lost their life because of someone else's horrific decision and how many families will be affected is beyond comprehension.

At first, I also thought that this was a terrorist attack something related between a war in the Middle East, but as I soon seek some information in the internet, it was really an accident.

People are living a peaceful live in this community when this tragedy is not yet happening.

But what can we do if this is a humanity's mistake to not safely store the chemicals that really caused an explosion?

It is just so sad to think about the situation of those poor people or people in a lower class to suffer in this worse events. But then, I'm hoping for more power to Lebanese people who are struggling so hard to recover from all the damages that the explosion brought to them, and also to the necessities that they need to have during this quarantine.
1339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone seen this website before? on: August 06, 2020, 03:17:43 AM
There's a saying “If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't.” Let's just mass report. Reporting this is the only thing we can do right now. Though it's pretty smart of you to research and ask first before going in to invest. That's the one thing most newbies lack in cryptocurrency space.

Let's just report this kind of ponzi because it doesn't have any place in crypto industry.

This can really destroy and can badly affect the reputation of bitcoin on other people and to the community.

Companies do not really do this kinds of offer because this is really unrealistic to think. Probably, that's their own way to make money, they will fool and lure people with that offers. That's the thing that a newbie lacks about, awareness about those scams that are existing in some platforms. Let's all be aware about this schemes and report it as soon as possible, so that there will be no more users will become their victim.
1340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies beware of influencers -they might not know it all/it's can go wrong- on: August 05, 2020, 09:23:47 AM
The influencer strategy is what scam new cryto related project and online theft use these days and this was also what the twitter hacker used to stole BTC from people and i hope the twitter hacker strategy is more than enough lesson for people to understand that strong self making research is very important before making any investment.

Note : It sad that despite all several alerts some people will still follow the intention of this liars.

Have you heard about the recent reported scam that uses popular people's account in Twitter?

Where they said that they will double the amount of your bitcoin?

This is the best example of those scams that uses high profile personality so that it can influence a lot of people and it will looks like very legit. Scammers are very good at thinking of a strategy where they will use social media because they know that there are a lot of users online. Don't trust easily and never believe on those things that you only see in internet, try to explore and understand more.
