next season will be a very new season for the premiere league because for the first time the arsenal will not be trained arsene wenger. liverpool showed a good performance last season, and tottenham and manchester united will destroy the hegemony of manchester city.

Still too early to speculate on this, focus on the world cup instead. The world cup will be the place where alot of new talent will be found alongside some new transfer. Even when liverpool was showing great achievement last season there is no way to speculate the enxt season as Salah might be signed by another club in the transfer window
I agree with you the summer just started and we still don't know which team that will gain or lose from the transfer window United have started early this season sealing two transfers that is great for them it's a lot better when you get your players early not wait till the end and then panic buy City have done it last season as they got their transfers done so early that made Guardiola focus on the game play for the rest of the summer while the other teams waited to the last day and some of them didn't reach agreements for players that have been long target for them I think it is going to be exiting to see if United going to improve this season and will they be able to match with their neighbors while others like Arsenal and Chelsea would they be able to get back in top 4 teams in England.

Are Manchester United going crazy or what they are now trying to sign Willian for £60m he is 29 yo so i do not think that he worth that much £45m is the limit if it was up to me Sanchez was sold for just little bit more then that price tag. I Know that Mourinho likes him very much but he is not worth bringing for that much so I'm rather see him trying to find another solution that worth the money he will be buying with.
^  Liverpool could also go for Jack Butland.  And I think they could acquire him for cheap since Stoke was relegated.

Another option they could go for is Joe Hart.  He's decent enough and prolly better than Karius.  Lol.
Liverpool is in deed needs a better GK but Joe Hart have been a disaster for the previous 2 seasons and he have not have the age to get better then he used to be I would choose any other EPL goalie for him Butland seems to be a good choice as he made a lot of saves last season.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: June 18, 2018, 01:16:45 AM
Real Madrid coach Julien Lobetigui has been appointed Real Madrid coach after the end of his mission with La Rioja in the World Cup, in a surprise of the caliber because it was far from nominations, nor was the period when the supporters of the Real Zinedine Zidane's successor, because everyone in Spain was interested in the future of Antoine Grizmann, who had already confirmed that Tuesday would be the date for his future. But the announcement of Lopezte's training of the "Royal" was the highlight of the day.

This is a absolute shocker and a very big gamble on the part of Real Madrid, I do hope they have got it right because I don't think he's the guy for a club like Madrid. He's done well at international level but at Porto he failed and suddenly giving him a club like Madrid can be a disaster in the making. I thing the prez has erred and this is not the appointment anyone wanted.

I guess he erred when he appointed Zidane who was a complete novice yet look at the results he chalked. I don't think a bad coach will stay at Madrid for more than a season and so should he turn out to be a bad coach i guess he wouldn't be immune to Perez's axe.

Once he shows bad performance, then he will be out of the club also it happens to alot of coach in Real Madrid before him as well. The fans demanded the new coach to succeed zidane which is impossible. Zidane is smart enough to leave while he is still a winner but now everyone that take over that club will be overshadowing by zidane's achievement .
true if Lobetigui wants to keep his job in Madrid he needs to start working on bringing new players to the table so they can revolutionise the squad he is going to need some more stars at the club because the ones he have now some of them coming  to the end like Marcelo and Midric also I'm sure they are going to sign new goalkeeper this season despite that Navas did great season in Championsleague but if they want the league next season they need a higher caliber players not like the ones are signing now because the last one they signed now is Rodrygo Goes from Santos for €45 million and i don't think they will benefit from signing him because he will join them in 2019.
1324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 18, 2018, 12:58:51 AM
who will score for Germany.i don't see players like Klose Podolski
Muller had poor season with Bayern Oezil has his age also.Raus is coming back after long injury.Gomez was good but years ago.If today Germany will met spain or portugal could be 0-3
There is possible to say that first game of Mundial is just first game.Italy won Mundial with poor start but i see very low Germany strike ability

Germany made 9 shots on target tonight. They aren't lucky yet in the previous game but if they able to keep the good performance, the next games would give a better result I think. This is just a bad start for Germany!
Germany can be said that they have deserved the loss, the intensity of the game and the squandering of opportunities is clear. But Mexico have played a heroic game, and in the face of the difference in quality, they certainly deserved the result as a reward for all of this. Hummels was off today he was found off position many times he advances a lot and left lot of space for Mexico and they could easily scored couple more goals and not to mention that Penalty kick that Chicharito did not get. So for this world cup i expect to see more surprises just  like the surprises of the World Cup 2014 .. And the shocks of the Euro 2016 .. We make sure so far in the Russia 2018 that the differences between the teams that are active a good number of players in the advanced patrols are very few .. No longer name or history of a team matters.

iam not believe lionel messi missed pinalty kick
and argentina only get 1 point draw with iceland
next match argentina meret croatia, and croatia quality above iceland, dificult match argentina must win
The performance was good but the defense lhad many holes and the mistakes were fatal as usual
The goalkeeper for Iceland made great game stopping  more than a shot including a Leo Messi penalty.
I think the reason for the draw was that Argentina spent a lot of energy on trying to break through the middle of Iceland, which presented a match for history for them but needed to create and play on sides . Di Maria should not be subbed out and Dybala should have been in the game because all of the defense of Iceland was focused on Messi so with Dybala infield he could create some liberty for Messi or they can switch the play on him

Real Madrid has signed Rodrygo Goes from Santos for €45 million but he will join the Spanish team in 2019.
Manchester United have reached agreement with their star goalkeeper DDG to keep him at the club for 5 more seasons so that will end the future rumors for him to move to Real Madrid this season. With Chelsea also have trust that they will be keeping Courtois in London so it will be Alisson the number 1 target for Madrid this season.
This move on Roma keeper made disturbance in Arsenal plans to sign with Bayer Leverkusen 26yo GK Leno while Real Madrid neighbors are also looking to renew their Slovenian GK Jan Oblack to hold off PSG Liverpool and Real Madrid for making a move on him. Atletico feels like they are getting their work done effectively after securing greizman stay they are making their position strong with Oblack Renewal.

A fatal blow to Morocco Unfortunately, the difference in quality and the European experience has not turned into a some success. Iran has played on what it has known since the qualifiers, defends and then awaits their rivals to make fauls in the first half we have seen morroco trying to get that goal in but they were not able to do that so i think now it will be sealed for this group it's now clear that Spain and Portugal will advance i had some hopes for morroco to put up some fight for the elimination phase after impressing in the qualifiers now all hopes are lost. Now it will be a matter of who will top the group.

OK.. Here is the final scoreline from the latest round of international friendlies:

France 1-1 USA
Peru 0-0 Sweden
Denmark 2-0 Mexico
Serbia 5-1 Bolivia
Spain 1-0 Tunisia
Morocco 3-1 Estonia

Not much surprises there, other than the dull performance by France. And Serbia looks to be in great form..
Surprising result from France, they were playing with a great starting lineup against a very young USA NT...I understand it was a friendly, but still, a bit surprising tbh.

Oh, and Peru, I think they are 15 games unbeaten before the start of the WC...I'll keep an eye on this team, they look pretty solid.

Spain, hopefully Aspas will be in Spain starting XI, IMO he's the best striker on the team.
As individual names and abilities France equals Brazil and Spain. Deschamp is very lucky to have a strong lineup of players, mostly young, means the French team will be around for many years if they find a better coach they will perform bette for their match against USA France's squad is good but it's best not to play Matudi and Giroud from the start and start Fekir and Demble instead they created a great number of chances but they missed a good finisher and if they didn't perform well enough in WC Deschamp will be the one to blame he have what it takes to reach Semie finals at least.
1329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA WORLD CUP 2018? on: June 11, 2018, 04:02:02 AM
he Spanish team, a difficult victory against the Tunisian team .
Lago aspas scored the only goal of the match in the 85th minute, the Tunisian team showed that it was ready for the World Cup and was able to compete with European teams used to play in this  cup .
Even though Spain did only managed to score one late goal against Tunisia in this match, but since this was just a friendly match, I think the manager in charge of Spain national team might be just testing out some strategy, and I believe Spain performance in the coming World Cup tournament will be more convincing than this match.

Friendly match can be evaluated to make the best composition during the real matches. And I wish on this event Spain will be back to their best performance and able to win the trophy. I guess Spain will pass the group phase easily along with Portugal.
i have seen Spain against Tunisia and i can say done good job in minimizing the threats that Spain created despite the big difference in the quality between both teams even in first half Tunisia created better scoring chances then Spain the only thing that Spain we're great in doing was possession of the ball other then that not much have happened but at the end it's not something that worries because playing against mediocre teams you will see them defending with teeth and nails trying to leave no free space to create scoring chances. And that will not be a problem when you advance from group stages to knock out phase many of these teams wouldn't go too far but I'm afraid for England when they face Tunisia because to be honest England does not have the best Midfield comparing to Spain or their other lines.

He has done it again, Nadal wins his 11th French Open title! This is simple amazing that a player like this can always perform at the highest level and still win grand slam titles at his age. Thiem was simply no match for Nadal even though I thought he played some good tennis at certain  stages of the match but his Win % on 1st serve let him down at 68% compared to Nadal at 82%. I was so close to winning my bet on Thiem as I went for some value but it wasn't to be. Congrats to Nadal on another French Open title, he deserves it.
yeah he is a legend now in Rolland Garros it will be interesting to see if he get one or two more French opens now he is in good spot to finish with 12 at least also Nadal will celebrate his 177th week maintaining the top spot after winning Roland Garros.Djokovic Record is going to be not that hard to break as his next target to overtake him will be the 223 weeks.
So how many weeks do you think he'll end his career with and will he manage to overtake Djokovic personally i think the chances are good to hang on the next 52 weeks. Little points to defend at start of 2019.
Around 200, defending US Open will be the thoughest.

Nabil Fekir's transfer saga has come to an end. Olympique Lyon released an statement today saying that Fekir will stay at Lyon.

From what I've read so far: Nabil didn't pass the medical (or Liverpool saw something wrong with his knee, idk), Liverpool offered a lower price, OL said no, Liverpool ended negotiations.

Next options for Pool: Shaqiri and Lemar.

To say that 65+ EUR is a bargain for a single player shows that this transfer market is crazy.  Cheesy

I know, right? And if Alisson really did come for 85m, it'd be a record breaking GK fee but still be good value. I really don't understand the market any more!

Still, 85m for a GK is just absurd LOL
After optimism and after the preparation of all the fantasies and pictures that poor Fekir have imagined fell into water as Lyon officially announced the failure of the negotiations they say he even picked a number to play under the reds.It is not clear if the subject means a complete end to this story, or is it like the story of Coutinho, which can be reopened after a while when the right price is paid. I think Lyon is betting on him to succeed in World Cup so his price will go higher and more teams will be interested to sign him by then. And the rumors about his knee problems is not too convincing because he played most of the season and he got a call to represent his country so if he had problems we would have seen it.
1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 11, 2018, 03:03:40 AM
Transfer to warriors? Its an impossible thing. Part of his pride he would choose up other teams and would have that goal on defeating them in finals- this is based on my own view. Chances of leaving of Lebron and seek for other teams is high but this would totally depend on his decision if he would remain or not but when rumors comes out then high chance that it will happen.

Chance for me would be 30% stay and 70% leaving.
For me the chance for Lebron James leaving the Cavaliers is 90%. Even before the end of the season he clearly showed his intention of joining other teams and now that they were swept by the Warriors it leave James with no choice but to leave. There is no use of him to stay as clearly they don't have a chance to win another championship with the current roster that they had.

Forgot that idea, I don't think that Lebron will not go to GSW. I think he still loves to stay with the Cavs, but we don't know how it going to end. But if ever he will leave Cavs I don't think that he will simply shift to GSW or even the West.

He needed to recruit and have a say on who's players he think that can help them to win another trophy. Not a Kyrie Irving star of player, but someone who can play consistently.
i'm pretty much sure that at this point Cavs don't know what to do either get a player to replace LeBron with their 8th pick or get someone to build the team around LeBron but at the end the best way is to pick the player on the board that offers the most value in a trade regardless of fit on this roster, because if Lebron stays it's most likely because they are making a smart win now trade and if he leaves they are going to need the biggest upside value player they can get going forward. It's difficult to project who will be there at 8 if anyone that fills a need and is at the same time the highest value trade asset , so it's more likely the highest value and not a direct need pick.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 09, 2018, 02:23:49 AM
Antonio Conte was refuse to be the manager of Real Madrid because he appreciate his current contract with Chelsea

apparently Madrid and Barcelona should be disappointed with kane decision that he decide to sign long term contract with Tottenham until 2024

not only Kane renewed also Alli and Erikson will be following him apparently Pochettinho was given more funds this time so they will be aiming for a title next season to be remembered with it's dissapointing for Madrid not getting Kane or Barcelona who have been monitring Erikson for quite some time but the good news is that Manchester United will let David De Gea move to Real Madrid this summer, but only if they can land on Jan Oblak while Barcelona interested in signing Cristian Pavón.
other important news is that Roma signed Justin Kluivert from Ajax for just €18m also someone else from Ajax could be moving out that is Matthijs de Ligt with possible move to Tottenham Ajax set  £48m price tag on and West Ham started contract talks with long tied with Man United Felipe Anderson and finally this one have been expected for long Renato Sanches could become Benfica's player once again.

Tons of people saying Argentina will win, like come on... I don't see that happening lmao Smiley
All these friendlies don't mean anything. We'll see in 7days. I expect tons of matches to be under 3 goals. Just like EURO.
i share ur opinion i don't belleive that Argentina will be a big competetor for lifting world cup they still not that convincing to me true they have the top attacking options in the world but in the back there is so much that makes u worry also i feel that Germany not going to do that well in WC but they can still easily knock down Argentina if they met each other in quarter final Germany is very desciplined and well organised team then Argentina and that will make big difference between them while argentina had also 0 prepation for WC i think they only faced Haiti in freindlys they won that game 4-0 so in my opinion Spain and France plus Brazil are the top dogs for this WC followed by Belgium and Germany then Argentina

The beautiful farewell. Zidane decided to leave Real Madrid by awarding 3 UCL trophies for 3 consecutive years. He will always be remembered to be a living legend of Real Madrid as a player and coach.
This separation is inseparable from the dirty game sergio ramos in LC, very disgusting when you see the ramos play. so I asked whether the violation of sergio ramos was a covert mission directed by zidane? Angry  when we remember again zidane is also a player who has a very bad tempramen
Florentino Perez face said it all during the shock announcement, I believe he was a great fan of Zidane and he would have wished that the he would have stayed though. But he went out on high note and nothing can ruin it. Maybe he go and manage the French national team seeing how Deschamp is doing a lousy job over there.
Zidane's departure, and doubts about Ronaldo's future, certainly create pressure for Florentino .. But her positive side for him must be paid attention to him. however Real MAdrid is coming close to a major change after winning the first project but now after Zidane's shocking exit perhaps it makes Ronaldo voice heared more for him and maybe makes it easier for Perez to make decisions. with many rumors have been circulating these days anything can happend we could see Conte as a head manager for the Blancos or even Neymar moves in paying the £307m release clause but with that Either ronaldo or !bale will be cash it our to fund the move also there is a cheaper option could joining honestly i don't think ut's cheap but defintly much cheaper then Neymar and it's Monaco winger Thomas Lemar after Wenger lefy Arsenal the rumors cooled down between the two that made Madrid thinking yo make a move innstead
1336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 04, 2018, 08:31:45 PM
I don't think anyone would now like to be the manager of RM, its a great club there's no doubt but with a life span of just 1 - 3 years it's no good for any manager to go in there and contain the massive ego, so poch and kloop are ruled out. Now that leaves wenger a chance to repair his legacy and he's the front runner so far considering he's easy to get.

Griezman is sealing his transfer in 13 days where could he land barca or man utd?

Fred is going to be a red I really hope he turns good, Mourinho signings are just not great anymore.
I think Tottenham Boss will be the next manager because he is being considered the most appropriate for this position. he already has taken attention of Perez because of he beat Real Madrid in the last UCL by 3:1.
Who doesn't want to be a Manager of Real Madrid? It will be good for their resumes in the future. Look at where all their ex-managers and the team they are managing they are still on pretty good teams. José Mourinho is with Manchester Unites and Carlo Ancelotti is on Napoli, I mean any team will want a Champion's League experienced manager for their squad, they won't run out of job offers after being sacked by Real Madrid. Plus the money that they would make would be extremely more compared to their previous job.

It isn't as simple as that.  Poch just signed a 5 year extension on his contract after a good talk with Daniel Levy with the latter promising on giving Poch a good transfer budget for this summer window (I think from reading all the news).

But we can have some fun with it and make a side bet if you want...  I say Poch will not leave the Spurs this year.  10 bucks.  Grin

And btw...  This was mostly ignored in the thread but Pelligrini is West Ham's new manager.  The football there should be good for the eyes this season.
We should wait and see if Daniel Levy does fulfill his promise and give to Poch a very reasonable transfer budget for the upcoming season. I am sure if he fails to deliver Poch will not think twice about leaving the club.

I doubt that Poch would sign without knowing the transfer budget in advance, I read somewhere that the budget is somewhere around 120 million euros, more than enough to sign some top players, especially if the sell a few of their own and add the money they get to the budget.
This was indeed totally unexpected for Real Madrid and now they have a very difficult of replacing one of the best managers that they have ever had and I don’t know any manager who can effectively replace Zidane because most of them are currently Club tied.

A whole host of managers are available such as Sarri and Blanc, they shouldn't have a problem finding a replacement. I've heard that they have already started interviews.
i'm hearing that they are now targeting Juventus Allegri and after they failed their negotiation with Poch and Klopp. I think he is currently the best manager out their but i think that he promised Juve fans to be back next season unless Managing Real Madrid was his dream job then he could force his way out of Italy but in my opinion Sarri or Roma manager Di Francesco are the most suitable for Real Madrid as they play more offensive style. I think Real Madrid fans at the end wants a manager that plays like Guardiola but not Guardiola himself so it will be interesting to see who will be the final one to land the job.

Germany has made official the 23-man squad for the WC:

https://twitter.com/DFB_Team/status/1003571830727364608

Leroy Sané didn't make the final cut...not surprising tbh, he's been really poor when he plays with the NT, unlike Julian Brandt and Draxler who have proven to be quality for Die Mannschaft. Solid team, definitely among the main candidates to win the trophy.
The decision was difficult between Sané and Brandt. The two have high quality but Brandt participates in intercontinental cup but in my opinion  Sane has great  speed in him and dodging but it is not useful for the total and often lack the final touch in front of the goal, which makes most attacks ends with no benefit, but despite the negatives it deserves to be on the bench, but I expect that there are hidden things non technical behind the exclusion Have a bad relationship with the coach and colleagues. So i think that love don't believe in Sane to help the  collective team like Draxler Muller and Reus.

guys what do you think of City move for  Mehrez I will be surprised if they payed that much for him it's close to €100 now as media says. His prime has already passed and he will never repeat that season again. Don't get me wrong, he is good player and tehnically he is at elite level  but a lot have been changed for him in previous years now I can't see the determination and now he is just below average, if you look closely when he played in this and last season he looks like he doesn't even want to be on the pitch while for Leicester is going to work for them better and probably their chances to rise above mid-table with that transfer budget they will add 3 solid players for Premier League and still be good as a team City better off with Zaha in my opinion.

Rumour: Manchester United have made an offer for the serbian midfielder Milinković-Savić (Lazio). The Express even went as far as to say deal done 1. Lazio's president, Claudio Lotito, made it pretty clear a few months ago that they won't sell him for less than €150m, so it'll be interesing to see what Manchester United is willing to pay for Savić...I don't think he's worth that amount of money but the current market is absolute nonsense so...

1. https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/965409/Man-Utd-Transfer-News-Milinkovic-Savic-Pogba-Materazzi-Manchester-United-Premier-League
Jose Mourinho and Manchester United are going to revamp their squad this summer with a lot of names coming and going as a result. Fred is also being linked with the club and am sure he is going to partner Matic in the midfield.

The Fred transfer is basically complete, was surprised to know that Fred is just 25, been hearing about him for years.

I can't see Ronaldo going back to Man U, I don't think he can handle the epl at his age with his style of play, also, he and Mourinho doesn't have a good relationship, so I doubt that Mourinho will try to sign him. As for Bale, he just wants some more game time and I don't see him getting it playing under Zidane, hopefully he comes back to England, United are the favorites to nab his signature but if spurs are willing to match his wage demands then he will go there without a doubt. Ronaldo said what he said yesterday to take the spotlight away from his poor performance yesterday and to pressure real to give him a new contract, Bale wants to leave.

He can if he want but Real Madrid is just not going to let him go until they find a proper replacement for him. Bale has proven that he is actually almost the same standard as Ronaldo however Ronaldo has taken all the spotlight. There is also tons of rumour that Bale could be going back to England soon and his next destination could be Manchester United

Cant see them finding a replacement for Ronaldo on the wing, only Neymar and Hazard can play there as well as he can, there is speculation of Neymar going to real but I don't think real will be willing to pay the brazilian's buyout clause. Eden Hazard is happy where he is and is not for sale
I think you have been mistakened by Fred the Brazilian striker he was not famous in Europe played for Lyon couple years but he was known for playing in WC with Brazil in the last version and in 2006 WC but I'm not too sure about Fred deal with United because from what I heard of Metro the reds have made a bid over Lazio Midfielder Savic with a £96M. And for Bale leaving RM I don't think that it will happen unless they land Neymar instead the most likely destination for him is United City is not looking for a type of player like him and only Bayern Munich can be interested in him. PSG could be also interested but their financial Fair play could ommiy them from signing more high cash please.

Arsenal wants liechtensteiner that makes it clear, that they are not looking for improvment first it's very cheap and very old secondly I don't think their scouts have been watching him in the last couple years because Licht he been ridiculous since 2015\16 season not good at doing anything useful their second target is Sokratis Papastathopoulos I think that if they failed to get the cheapest offer they could go for Sokratis he is not that great Defender but he do not have any flaus.
