Did you mod the bios to get 65W power CAP? my cards are @ 38W and 45W. (early 750ti cards without the 6pin power connector) Do you have a 6pin powerconnector to your card?
Yes, bios is modded to 65w cause default bios went throttle on high load even with stock clocks.
It's a cheap palit card without any power connector.
I used it in std pci-e x16 port before, now it is on pci-e x1 with rizer cable (with additional power rizer)

p.s. In fact i was lucky enough to get this one, it has only 1.125v voltage and ASIC quality rating (in gpu-z) more then 80%. I tried to find some other 750 or 750ti but all of them was with higher stock voltage and less ASIC quality - so i refused.

Seems that gtx750 with high oc is more energy efficient then 750ti in low clocks )))

quark 6mhs with such run ... but neoscrypt with 190khs is more profitable now

kachur's quark and qubit bins work only with his own modified sgminer.
His x11 bin works with git-compiled sgminer-master 5.1.1 (32bit, my own compile just for fun) without a problem.

This x11 bins are from original "kachur" sgminer 5.1.1 package. When cryptomining-blog leaked this miner they only supplied with quark and qubit but miss x11 ... )))
1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 18, 2015, 05:25:03 PM
stock? ...
or you overclock also? ...
#crysx

all me results are for max possible overclock for the algo.
For quark it is 1510/1600
6114 khash new record
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 18, 2015, 01:22:34 PM
submitted another optimalization in bmw512.
Visible improvement in the the quark algo the gtx960 is up 50-100khash
+10-15 khash with gtx750 )))

That worked very well for me. Do you know where to get Pitcairn and Hawaii bins?
pitcairn is here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4flkNGCHIGFZGVfSlE4X3Ytdk0/view?usp=sharing but i didn't test it.
For hawaii you can use renamed tahiti bin.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 16, 2015, 08:57:25 PM
Submitted an optimalization in bmw512. My testrig is up from 44600KHASH to 45000KHASH @quark
A few khash gain in x11 as well.
nice, new quark milestone for my poor gtx750: 6100khs )))
x11 2970
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 14, 2015, 11:52:32 AM
Neoscrypt works well for me in release 54.

Yes, git compiled from this commit https://github.com/sp-hash/ccminer/commit/4958b610a77e5a54d5c9cf1e2d18ca0b48513b9c neoscrypt works just fine at nicehash and hamsterpool
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 970 vs R9 280X on: July 14, 2015, 11:04:43 AM
The latest drivers will automaticly recompile the bin file to the correct architecture. So if you have a tahiti bin, it will be converted to a tonga bin behind the scenes. Note that on the older drivers. 14.6 14.7 etc this don't work.

I didn't know that. Thanks!
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 970 vs R9 280X on: July 14, 2015, 11:00:50 AM
could someone test 280x with kachur x11 bin?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.msg11875320#msg11875320
I've got more then 6mhs on 7950 at 1100mhs. 280x must be better.

But i still prefer quark as it can be run with low memory frequency and low temps.

As for the lyra - nvidia has an epic win here with latest djm's ans sp_'s achievements.
Small and cool gtx750 1gb doing better then huge monster - my 7950 3gb.

Hi,

I've been a little bit disconnected from mining lately due to hard work.

I am getting 6,7Mhs with sgminer 4.2.1 in each Gigabyte R9 280x. Is it a good performance right now?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.msg11680636#msg11680636

the miner is sgminer 5.1.1 from cryptomining blog or elsewere.
Bin is here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4flkNGCHIGFd09ON1Q2N0c1VFU/view?usp=sharing
Try it, maybe it will do better ...

2 dashminer

With amd 290 and quark performance near 15mhs (that is real with kachur miner) you'll get 0.006 btc per day on nicehash. The pool with clear stats, reputation and payout in btc. You'll need to pay near 0.008 btc per amd290 to get miners )))
And i'm sure your miner is not fastest in x11 algo )))
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 11, 2015, 07:06:22 PM
quark scales well with gpu clock
1500 => 1510mhz gives 6030 => 6070 khs
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 11, 2015, 04:59:14 PM
42mh/s at stock?
i think not, he likes to flash oc'ed gigabyte bioses )))

I didn't touched it personally (but that would be a great task to work on). Heard a rumor that one small Russian company outperformed ANSYS, so aerodynamics just jumped into my mind Smiley
I see ... I have some convergence problems here ... I tried both nvidia amgx and paralution but with mixed results. Maybe it's a model problem (((
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Current x11 mining performance on: July 11, 2015, 04:07:03 PM
i think you can get more with modified Wolf's x11 binaries or kachur ones. Look sgminer 5 thread.

I guess anonymous Navier-Stokes to come next.

wow, maybe you can help me? What is the best gpu solver for pressure correction equation for 3d uncompressed navier stokes?
1359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 11, 2015, 12:36:39 PM
just few results for new compiled git from sp_ on my poor gtx750 1gb
lyra 1500/1600 1130khs
quark 1500/1575 6030khs
Other algos without improvements comparing to my old records.
win7 64bit, ccminer 32bit, cuda 6.5, driver 353.30

quark on nicehash gives 7-8% rejects with ccminer and 1-2% on sgminer.
1360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell kernels. on: July 08, 2015, 02:55:19 PM
wow. new lyra2re code is here, thanks to djm and sp! My "hero" gtx750 was taken from shelf for this case. With 1500/1500 gpu/mem clock it shows 1115 khash/s with only 40% memory controller load. Old code was near 100% mem load.
And it still not very hot algo. 25-30% less power then quark.
