What should be hashrate of 280x/7970 and 290 in Lyra2RE?

With my miner (see SIG) about 1100 and about 1700, depending on ram type.

Have sapphire r9 290x Tri-x OC 8gb and only get 886kh/s, 15.4 beta, win8.1 x64, 16gb ddr3 1333mhz

conf:

"algorithm" : "Lyra2RE",

"xintensity" : "512", (intensity 15 i get only 780mh/s)

"gpu-engine" : "835",

"gpu-memclock" : "1510",

"worksize" : "64",

"gpu-threads" : "1"

Change memory clock to 1500 or 1250. What is the memory type?

Hawaii

Is your GPU memory type Hynix? It is faster than elpida memory. You can find it using GPUZ.

It's elpida

Elpida is slower for memory intensive mining. You can use that for Quark.

In quark, how can I get hashrate of 290? In Lyra i have only 1030kh.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I don't... but I probably will as soon as I go look at the prices.

isnt your current optimizations kicking the ass off the current hashrates already wolf? ...

and you are going to 'have a look' and optimize some more if the price is right? ...

damn - i wish we had that ease of increase in hashrate Wink ...

it should hit 330kh/s with available miner
i was mining ftc some months ago with wolf's bin.
but now it return just HW error. i think the issue is new AMD driver that i installed for quark miner.

I just wish the existing one would solo-mine neoscrypt.

What were you getting on 280X with that? The last record I have is from Christmas Eve of last year, indicating my best (non-public) one did around 490KH/s (NSFW): https://ottrbutt.com/miner/neoscryptwolf-12232014.png

This had to have been pre-14.12, though - and 15.x is telling me I can go fuck myself with that code, so it'll definitely need some work to adjust.

360

Confirmed, 360 280x with hynix memory, elpida ~10% lower.

By chance now i have 2 cards in my system: amd 7950 in main pci-e x16 slot and nvidia gtx 750 in pci-e x1 with rizer cable.
I wanted to run ccminer with gtx750 and sgminer 5.1.1 (opt binaries) with amd 7950.

I have win7x64 machine.
It was no success as sgminer always wanted to build for nvidia and end up with error.

Examining opencl info i founs this:

Platform number: 0
Platform name: NVIDIA CUDA
Device number: 0
Device name: GeForce GTX 750
Device type: GPU
totalGlobalMem: 1024 MByte
clockRate: 1163
OpenCL version: OpenCL 1.2 CUDA
------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
Platform number: 1
Platform name: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing
Device number: 0
Device name: Tahiti
Device type: GPU
totalGlobalMem: 3072 MByte
clockRate: 1050
OpenCL version: OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1526.3)
------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
Platform number: 1
Platform name: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing
Device number: 1
Device name: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+
Device type: GPU
totalGlobalMem: 4095 MByte
clockRate: 2693
OpenCL version: OpenCL 1.2 AMD-APP (1526.3)

After some tries i manage to make it work with such command line parameters.
I don't no what was the key to success but it works )))

sgminer.exe -c quark.conf --gpu-reorder --gpu-platform 1 --remove-disabled

quark.conf file contains pool and algo detail ... nothing interesting.

Ccminer works like a charm from the first try)).

Hi rendoW
it seems that your picture is for quark not x11
also one card has intensity 16, do you have temp problem with that?

no, it is x11, just forgot to rename name of the pool in config )) But the port and algo is for x11.

I have both cards connected with 2 monitors and I was getting some micro freezes with I 18 on main card. And yes, the second card runs hot due to placement problems, I have very cheap config ...
