1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 13, 2023, 04:34:38 PM
Definitely wasn't expecting the Raptors to lose at home. I watched the first half and stopped watching, thinking the game was done for. As Raptors looked fairly solid in it. Surprising result for sure but it was fairly close. A few clutch plays here and there, and the result could have been different.
That may be because you underestimated the Bulls. I have seen this Bulls team come back before from a huge deficit, and they just did it again. The good thing is that Lavine is playing like an MVP, so you cannot count this team out. The Raptors are good as a unit, but they do not have much experience in big games as was concluded. They won a championship, but that was with the old squad. Most of them now are new, though they have the same head coach.

Yes, I guess majority of the bettors think that the Toronto Raptors had this game already. But DeRozan and specially Lavine doesn't want to lose this one. They come back from a huge lead and win this game.

And with this they are going to South Beach to face the Heat if I'm not mistaken.

The Pelicans and Thunder are still playing, Pelicans has a slight lead after the first half.

What a game, right? Play-in this year have been more interesting to watch compared last year, IMO. All four teams are good and the games were too tight to know which team will have the win at the end of the day. The Bulls rallied in the 2nd half and left the Raptors by surprise because they were unable to chase the gap that was made by the Bulls.

Then we have the Pelicans and Thunder who are both decent, but the Thunder prevailed, and they will be on the road to face the Minnesota in Minneapolis.
1362  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's a crypto/bitcoin scam that most people and newbies simply don't notice? on: April 12, 2023, 10:38:31 PM
People don't realize that big coins can be scams too. They think if a coin is in top 10 or top 20, it's guaranteed to not be a scam. But in reality crypto devs do not plan to actually finish their project, they just create hype, get millions of dollars from dumping their coins and move on to the next "project". Crypto is a game of a bigger fool rather than an investment in something that creates value.
True. Most particularly for newbies, they will always think that scams are only possible for coins that are just starting to prove their worth in the market. Not realizing that even those projects that have been hyping in the market and are gaining much attention from the investors because of its high potentials to succeed , would eventually vanish in the market instantly bringing all those funds from the people who have trusted it so much. That’s why everyone should invest with caution, once the project is not reputable enough, be sure to invest only a minimal amount so that if it’s suddenly gone, it will never leave you panicking.
1363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: April 12, 2023, 09:58:36 PM
Actually, buying and storing your coins is always a good option as long as the price never reaches its peak yet, so you have all the time to accumulate a lot more of it. However, it also depends on your finances and your capability to constantly buying it. If you have a tight budget, then never push through it but prioritize what’s needed the most. And when you’re done sustaining the basic needs of your family, then it’s time to spare some extra funds for your investment. And when you have save enough, that’s the time to buy a portion of bitcoin and hold it. You can always do it everytime you have extra funds reserved for your investment. Invest what you can afford to lose, that way you will lessen the risk from your investment.
1364  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: April 12, 2023, 09:45:19 PM
With the drinking habit of your friends almost all days of the week, I must say it’s certainly a waste of money and even time that should be supposed to spend on your family for more quality time. You know it’s never bad to drink as long as it’s done moderately, but in your case, it’s like your friends are abusing it that will only put their health and finances in danger later on. So never adopt what they’re doing just because they are your friends. You should know the right from wrong. And in this case, this is very wrong wasting their time and money in a drinking habit that won’t make them productive at all.
1365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 12, 2023, 09:21:43 PM
Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?
For me, when it comes to highly volatile investments, a single person should not be forced or convinced into it, but should dwell on it voluntarily. Otherwise, the one who insist to convince will be the one responsible for any loss or failure from his investment. And I believe with bitcoin, people should not enter in it just because other people are doing it and benefiting much from it, but the right way is people invest in it because they believe in it as one potential investment that will grow and prosper in time.
1366  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 11, 2023, 10:58:49 PM
Gamblers become too lazy to read the ToS because of their obsession to eagerly make profits. To avoid getting into trouble, make sure to understand well the terms and conditions in each gambling casino so that if there are instances like this, you will not resort into panicking and spread some lies that this certain casino is cheating and scamming.
Yes, it's true, many gamblers are lazy to read TOS at casinos, even though understanding TOS at casinos is very important and must be done by all gamblers so they don't make mistakes or violate what has become casino rules and policies.
As you said, there are some gamblers who actually blame or claim that the casino has cheated them, but when we do research and explore everything, it's not the casino that's at fault, but the gambler who is actually guilty for violating the rules of the casino.
But what can make the TOS a text that contains quite a lot so it's only natural that there are still many gamblers who ignore it and prefer to prioritize their profits.
I guess no matter how we’ll educate gamblers, it’s always a fact that not all gamblers were able to read and understand the casino ToS simply because it’s time consuming. After all, as long as you are just gambling rightly without any intention to create fraud, then you will never be suspected for any not righteous acts.
1367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Things I've learned day trading Bitcoin for 3 years (successfully) on: April 11, 2023, 09:46:07 PM
Bonus tip: Keep it simple, don't complicate your trading even if it looks cool. It's easy to get caught up in fancy indicators and complex trading strategies, but simplicity is often the key to success. Keeping your approach straightforward and easy to execute will lead to success.
A lowkey tip but needs to be understood by many. You don't really need to confuse and complicate yourselves in trading if this is what you want. You just have to trade, learn what's necessary to learn and the strategies that you want to do. Like doing a simple strategy and keeping a profitable trade even if the amount won isn't a lot. That's what being simple is, you just need understand your need and that shouldn't be that much so that you're not expecting a lot in the market and that won't disappoint you as well and at the same time, you won't take your losses seriously but you'll just need to be better with your next trades.
Trading is never easy but not that hard though if you know what you are doing. So if you want to trade and be profitable, then stick to your own strategy no matter how simple it is. As long as you know it’s working, then never be confused about it. And take note that when you trade, never allow yourself to complicate things. That will only lost your focus on trading. Stick to what you think is simple and working, that way you will be more motivated to end a trading successfully.
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 10, 2023, 06:39:31 PM
Yes, it's a huge chance for Donaire to be a champion again or even unify all the belts. I think that's what he is doing now and taking advantage while there are no boxers that can be a threat in the division that can probably face him. Well, if time permits, Nonito will and can surely unify all the belts at 118. For now, let's see him fight because his last fights weren't that flashy anymore.

Not unless Nonito Donaire will lose this fight against Santiago, I will still stick to my personal belief that Donaire can stll dominate the bantamweight division despite his age now that Inoue is now out of the said division. Seeing the current rankings at the 122 across all boxing organizations, it's only Jason Moloney for can give a tough fight to Donaire.

But seems Moloney still recognize Donaire's power and try to delay the time they will face soon by backing on the fight. It will result for them to meet each other at the possible unification fight if they will be both become champion but at that time will happened, Donaire is aging more.

We know that upsets are always possible but I guess it's safe and we can assume that the chance of upset in this bout are smaller than slim, IMO. That said, I believe that Donaire can be a champion once again after this fight and hopefully he can gather up the remaining belts while he can still fight and give his utmost destructive power towards his foes. But since this fight haven't got its own schedule (AFAIK), let's hope that Donaire can still fight once more before this year ends.

Yeah, it's slim I guess, unless that Santiago is a extra ordinary fighter like Manny when he was just starting and upset Barrera in Texas, but if he is not and base on his records, It's unlikely that he can pull it against the experience of Nonito.

Just waiting for words though about this fight because there is no date yet?

Or maybe they are still negotiating? I don't know, but hopefully this will happen this year and we all looking for Donaire to win here and become a champion once more.

I might not go with that statement mate because we cannot just compare Manny Pacquiao's footsteps with Santiago's footstep because the latter has nothing in comparison with the Filipino legend. I mean, look at his records, Manny Pacquiao surely didn't have that when he was still climbing from flyweight up to bantamweight, at that time, he already got a lot of recognition and was known already in the industry unlike Santiago now who is still fighting to earn himself a place in the division.
1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 10, 2023, 04:52:00 PM

Can someone explain what will happen if they all end up with a season standing of 43-39? Will there be a tiebreaker game, or if not, who will finish in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th places? I didn't know how tiebreakers work in a play-in tournament.
I shared how the mechanics will be 2 days ago here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1220979.msg62054312#msg62054312
I hope that helps.

Suns picked Clippers instead of Warriors. They could've won the game if they wanted to, but lost to Clippers and became play-off first round opponents. This is pretty logical as they avoid the last champion. Paul George's return is still unknown.
Lakers won but it wasn't enough for 6th place. They need to pass play-in rounds now. Pelicans is also in form but Lakers wouldn't make mistakes here.
Phoenix Suns might win this first round without PG13 around but they do have to be careful with Westbrook. That dude will certainly give his all, especially with a goal of a championship. This may be his last chance in a good team with Kawhi Leonard so he will play harder than before.

The Lakers on the other hand need to locked in at the 7th spot and there's a lot of speculations on Youtube now with NBA analysts that they might get it.
But, I would not underestimate the power of BI and CJ. Those two can go hot at any instance, a good defender should be posted on them. Vanderbilt will be a good choice to be posted against BI and Reaves for CJ.

The Lakers are still not locked in that 7th spot, as you have said, BI and CJ are making a run in their last 10 games so it will be a tight race for that very important 7th spot.

As for the Suns vs Clippers, they already have KD, I think that will be the breaker here. If it will be just Booker against Kahwi and Leonard, and even with PG, Clippers have a good chance. But know the Suns has one of the best offensive weapon right now and it's KD and we haven't seen him really play the level that all we all know. So in this series it will be close but I will have to go with the Suns.

Good point, it's really undeniable that the Phoenix Suns have improved their chances to reach further this time by having KD on their side and whoever the team will face, they will surely have a hard time grabbing a win because the Suns are quite stacked right now especially if all four core players are present, their offense and defense is just hard to penetrate. For the Clippers, their chemistry will be heavily tested in the first round and I look forward that they will give an interesting game because PG and Kawhi are there to lead the whole roster plus there's WB and Powell on the sides who are always available when the duo needed them.
1370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 10, 2023, 04:29:16 PM

And it's according to one thread, in this fight, someone will make it official about the Errol Spence vs Bud Crawford fight. So we will see if it is going to happen because that is one of the most anticipated much as well. Just like this fight, two boxers in their prime and both are champions.

They will be making a huge announcement using this fight as many people will be watching. Hopefully, they will announce the undisputed fight between two undefeated champions that we have been waiting for. If they seal that fight, there will be no more speculation that either one of them is trying to evade it.

The boxing industry is getting bored right now, as it feels invaded by this popular YouTuber that want to get in to the pro scene. These (Davis vs Garcia & Spence & Crawford) are the fights that fans really want to watch.

I agree, it was taken by the Paul Brothers and making millions in their exhibition fights. And this should be a challenge for boxing, promoters, networks affiliations and boxers themselves to bring back the glory and make the right fights and not allow politics and corruption to take over in the industry.

So hopefully by April 22, we will now that Errol Spence vs Bud Crawford is officially on the calendar of fights for this year.

We still have Haney and Loma, but we wanted to see more great fights and hoping that everyone involved can deliver it like the Ryan Garcia vs Tank Davis fight.

Is Errol Spence vs. Terence Crawford confirmed for June already? In any case,  you forgot to mention Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue hehe. It will certainly be a fight that might change the super bantamweight division if Inoue gets the WBC and WBO championships.
As of now, that specific bout is not yet sure if it will really materialize even if they will announce it in the Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis fight while the Inoue vs Fulton has been delayed because the Japanese former undisputed champion at 118 was injured recently which resulted into a delay but now they got a new schedule.

Quote
Also, did everyone watch how Israel Adesanya knockout Alex Pereira? Izzy pretended to be hurt and caused Pereira to begin to punch and kick which caused him to be open for Adesanya's very quick counter panch. I reckon King Ry can use the same tactic to trick Tank hehe.

That was a sweet revenge and Adesanya surely prepared well to execute and finish Pereira in a much shorter time. But I'm not sure what you mean that Garcia can use a tactic like that because somehow boxing is quite different compared to the UFC.
1371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: April 10, 2023, 01:22:35 PM
It's interesting to note though that Regis Prograis, the WBC champion in the 140 lbs is already a free agent. He used to be under Probellum, but we all know that the boxing outfit or at least most of it's boxers have bee taken by Disrupt Promotions, except maybe for Donaire and Eimantas Stanionis who remain who remain with Richard Schaefer.

And with that, we might see a possible scenario that Prograis might fight the winner of this fight, or at least will go for any unification in this division as Taylor only held one belt (WBO) and it will be on the line against Lopez.

I just saw Teo and JT's slight trashtalk in an interview and it's evident enough for me to see that Josh Taylor doesn't have any fears in his upcoming fight against Teo, he was just too confident that Teo can't do a difference in that fight which is understandable because he is still undefeated and a former undispted champion.

While Teo was just speaking nonsense and talking that he will defeat Josh with a statement because he is the greatest in the industry now and it's already predicted as that's what the greatest will do. Quite funny I would say because I can see that he was just bluffing because he already probably know the difference of their power and he's just trying to mess with Josh in the head. But JT didn't took the bait, as expected.

Haven't seen that but obviously, we all know how Teofimo's mouth is, it was very evident when he defeated Loma and he multiply his trash talking when he fought Kambosos, most likely it's because of his confidence win against Loma that time and he thinks he is the best boxer and a crowd drawer. But Kambosos put him in the right place when he defeated that big mouth of Teofimo and his father.

But since he is on 2 winning streak, albeit against low key fighters and he didn't fare good in his last fight, still though he chooses where he is good at, trash talking his opponent. But JT is not going to back down because he has the tools and has been a undisputed in this division wherein Lopez is just trying to make his name.

I think @Maslate was referring on this short interview: Josh Taylor & Teofimo Lopez Talk All the Trash In Tremendous Face to Face Interview

Anyway, I agree, Teofimo was just bluffing and tried to talk calmly to maintain his poise on that interview but we can certainly see how he reacts against Josh Taylor's comments to every questions. Teo was just lucky when he upsets the prime Loma because the latter got a problem before their fight, which is a shoulder injury that really took a toll in Loma's performance.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: April 08, 2023, 10:23:50 PM
^ It seems that Stevenson didn't go anything hard to make the cut in this division as he was below the limit. And as everyone is expecting how this fight will be, it could be one sided beating for the the Japanese.

He seems to be smiling though, not sure how to read this, could be he is confident that he can shock the world with a win here, or doesn't know the magnitude of this fight and will just go on with the motions against Shakur.

Can't say that I oppose him if he's indeed confident on this fight because this fight against Yoshino is the least of their camps worry and now both of them have passed the weigh-in, there's no hurdle on the road right now that will prevent Shakur from winning this fight. It's a one-sided fight no matter how we look into it because this is just a tune-up fight, Bob Arum will do everything just to make another cash cow that will have a huge fight in the future because this is a title eliminator fight.
1373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 08, 2023, 09:30:52 PM
I won’t be surprised that Kyrie will have a hard time to adjust on a team that has a high expectation on him. He was only replaced on the late stage of the regular season when Mavs is already on the verge of missing the playoffs. Kyrie is still doing his best to become part of his new team but adjustment is so hard if most of the key player of Mavs was traded for you and you will play on the remnant players that is not use to play with Kyrie.

We should give him next year for an adjustment. In fact, Mavs still doesn’t have a chance to proceed further on playoff even if they have spot due to there current roster condition.
I agree that his transfer to Dallas despite at the first few games where successful, still, it won't be just enough to adjust.
Well, we can reason out anything but that's really not looking good for the team when both have played together.
The expectation for him was really high and can't blame the disappointment not just from the fans but also from the team itself.
It was an expensive contract to them and a lesson as well. Anyway, everything has been seen already and we're starting to see teams getting out of the league for the season, play in schedule is within less than a week.

Expectations deteriorated pretty quickly.  They ended the season absolutely terribly.  If I were Mark Cuban I wouldn't even want Kyrie back.  Nobody thought they'd miss the playoffs before this trade was made.  Their epic collapse is a sign that star players don't have the skill gap over average players that they used to have.  Everyone is better now and you can't give up important role players just to grab a star and expect to win.  At this point I would be concerned if Kyrie signed with a team I care about.  He's toxic and it doesn't matter how many highlights he can deliver, he hasn't been able to win since leaving LeBron James.

And hopefully the Los Angeles Lakers will not try and acquire him in the off season because the roster is not that well established enough and making that kind of move will again mess up the whole roster and the hardships they took because these role players won't get any good exposures anymore. They should retain what they have because that's what the Lakers need for now. While for the Mavericks, it's expected that they will not extend Kyries contract and will let him explore his value in the free agency, just like what he want to do.

1375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you consider yourself as a risk taker if you buy bitcoin? on: April 08, 2023, 07:47:15 PM
Everything in life has risks, especially Bitcoin. Although it is a worthwhile long-term investment to hold through dollar-cost averaging (DCA), it is still subject to market volatility and its movement is unpredictable.

We may not know what will happen next to Bitcoin in the next hour, day, week, month, or year. We just have to be prepared for it as risk-takers. You cannot call yourself a risk-taker if you have not bought Bitcoin, even just a fraction of it.

Well, the OP's question depends on the investor. The types for this case, first is the type of investor who seeks information first and tries to understand the basics before he/she proceeds and second is the type of investor who doesn't know the risks entailed with investing towards cryptocurrencies as he/she are just into it because of the hype or sees someone who got their lives comfortable because of it.

But if the investor truly knows what cryptocurrency is about and what it can do, and proceeds with it, surely that specific investor is a risk taker. But, if that same investor is the 2nd type, certainly that's not a risk taker because he/she doesn't know the risks in the first place.

Yes you are right that mate all fans of boxing are very hungry nowadays. Not just literally hungry but hungry in seeing a real fight a toe to toe fight against two boxers. And the most awaited fight of Tank Davis and Ryan Garcia is almost come this is one of the big fights in 2023. Because these two great fighter will prove themselves that they are the best in their division. And about to Spence and Crawford then all I can say that fight are not gonna happen.

Thanks to them we have at least one sure fight that will indeed happen this year because after months of going back and forth in the internet, both camps have come to make the fight officially to end their rivalry and to know who's more stronger and dominant. But about that Spence vs Crawford? Only time can answer that for us because what we have nowadays are just mere speculations, it's much better if Al Haymon or Spence himself will make a statement.
1377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez on: April 07, 2023, 08:03:33 PM
Josh Taylor on the other hand seemed to be too confident despite his inactivity and poor performance in his last fight against Catterall. I can feel that he is belittling Teofimo Lopez's ability to win as he is predicting the big possibility of him taking out Teofimo in the early rounds.

That's not unusual, especially for undefeated boxers. He has the right to say whatever he wants, given his decent record, and as long as he remains undefeated, he can claim whatever he needs to elevate himself further. I hope his statement will motivate Lopez to train harder, so that we as fans can fully enjoy this big fight.

Correct, that is surely his rights because he managed to carve himself a name in the industry and reach the position he have now without any scathes on his records. To be honest, I can't help but agree with JT's statement towards Teo because he is indeed talented enough to back-up his words while the latter isn't that much of a threat and what he did was to defeat boxers who was injured, just like what he did when he was still at 135 and managed to have himself 3 belts, and that's why he got defeated when he faced an aggressive and healthy boxer, Kambosos Jr.
1378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 07, 2023, 07:38:20 PM
But I think in this fight it will be different Loma, an upgraded version of him because he simply wants to become a champion and whoever is in front of us, he has to do his best and win even if it is against a young and undefeated boxer in Haney.

A boxer can be different against different opponents, as they create a strategy and adjust based on their opponent's style. Lomachenko is a great boxer and was very popular, but unfortunately he lost to Lopez due to an injury. This time there should be no excuses as he is 100% healthy and will be facing a 100% fighter.
Lomachenko can express out loud anything he desires that he is an overhauled upgraded of him when he faces Haney in the squared ring. He is free to train as much as he likes. But the question remains whether his body is ready for it. He will do his best, but is what he does now better than what he did in the past? He is not any quicker than he was several years ago, in my opinion. The genuine test here is to Devin Haney. Is it attainable for him to prevail in his match with Lomachenko and continue his journey toward greatness?

His not known to have face hands though, he is very technical on how he dismantles his opponent, and that is his trademark.

And for the argument that he is old and no longer in his prime based on his last fight with Ortiz and he is 35 years old?

How about Terrence Crawford who is also 35 years old and people saying that he is in his prime and going to beat Spence? So that age argument doesn't make sense. Maybe we can throw that into the equation, but in the end, it's still the skills that will win the fight or lose one.

I'm not going to rule the age as a basis but I'm going to base Loma's recent fights, we can clearly see that he wasn't the same Loma we've know anymore and even if we say that he was just adjusting at that time and had a ring rust, that is still debatable because Loma wasn't away for a year and there's no difference to the other boxers who are fighting once per year. I agree that Devin Haney will be an acid test to Lomachenko.

Can't compare to the 35 years old Crawford and 35 years old Loma, one has remained strong and tough and the other one has changed, not for the better though.

Yeah right, better to wait for whatever it's awaits him after winning the fight, let Maloney push his way to challenge or ask for the fight as long as Donaire will get decent earnings then so be it.

Taking care of his finances while there's still plenty of time for him is the best decision for the Donaire,
win the fight and take a good amount of offer next.
Yeah but most of us will be a lot happier if he will going to win this fight. We all know donaire from his wins to his losses, though sometimes I am thinking that maybe he should rest, but then if he still can fight other boxers and his team is still able to improve his stats before then no problem at all. I just say that he is already a winner to us, a champion whether he wins or he lose Donaire is Donaire.

Just the same with all those legends who continue to bring pride even they are no longer on their primes but still manage to win a fight and become a champ it's really a good way of showing love to the sports.

On Donaire's end, it's another edge if he will take the belt I mean if he become a champion again then
expect to have another money fight before he will retire his gloves right?

I don't think Donaire will retire as long as he can still make money. As long as he remains a champion, he will see it as an opportunity to earn more before retiring. Most boxers retire when they can no longer win and sell their fights, but Donaire's journey may be different since he is still considered a dominant fighter despite his age.

Agreed because without Inoue and Casimero, Donaire can win vs. anyone in the bantamweight division. It would create a good storyline if in his age, he can unify all the championships hehehe.

In any case, I do not know anything about this Alejandro Santiago. What would be everyone's prediction on the odds for the both of these fighters if the sportsbooks begin offering them?

Yes, it's a huge chance for Donaire to be a champion again or even unify all the belts. I think that's what he is doing now and taking advantage while there are no boxers that can be a threat in the division that can probably face him. Well, if time permits, Nonito will and can surely unify all the belts at 118. For now, let's see him fight because his last fights weren't that flashy anymore.

^^ Yeah, hard to see why teams are still interested on Kyrie though, maybe he was really that good that Dallas took a chance on him and hope that him and Luka will work it out together, same with Lebron and Kyrie, but it didn't.

Kyrie seems to have his own mind or at least not the norm as far as NBA players goes, sometimes he acts weird, or something that we think he had some mental issues or it is just his personality. If he test the market again, then let's see what teams are going to give him that chance again.

A big part of that reason why the Dallas Mavericks took their risks on acquiring Kyrie Irving is because the man truly got talents, which give the team a ray of hope when he was traded but all that was shattered when the duo started playing. It seems like it's just too much too ask because even if Kyrie is still a valuable player, he is not that kind of Kyrie anymore way back in the Cavs where he helped Lebron put a chip on their shoulders. The team is all offense and lacks defense, that's why their opponents aren't really having a hard time penetrating.
