1361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency. on: August 23, 2018, 10:45:07 AM
Main reason why it is not a credited as a "legit" currency because it is not being monitized by the government, but when the time reach that government has overall monitor and control over this asset bitcoin can be called as currency used by all government services,i think that is the main reason why.
1362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: August 23, 2018, 09:07:04 AM
I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh
That was sad to hear bro,all you can do is learn from your mistakes and just be patient on buying or be mindful of what can happen after you buy specially at that high price, all you can do right now is just bare with it keep the lesson you learn and try to regain your money that you buy from trading altcoins now
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want you to panic :-> on: August 22, 2018, 06:28:26 AM
There is a reason why it is there is some terms like bear market, whales are hoarding so much bitcoins and trying to force an issue to bring bitcoins price to the depth for them to buy more and more and earn thousands and millions of dollar benefiting from weak hands selling their bitcoins due to panic, yeah that is true they are somewhat manipulating it.

1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lots of cryptocurrency players are also forex trader on: July 22, 2018, 04:16:03 PM
I notice lots of cryptocurrency investors or traders are also forex traders.
Are you one also ? What is your reason to invest or trade cryptos ?
Are crypto players can be said to love speculate more ?  Roll Eyes

Some cryptocurrency investors or traders are forex traders too. If you are earning in forex trading, of course you will also take your chance in earning some decent money in cryptocurrency since it is also profitable and almost the same as forex trading.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty is dead :( on: July 22, 2018, 03:30:45 PM
Guys hello to all, maybe somewhere that already created such a thread, but I'll try to ask again Smiley Recently, I increasingly see that people get quite ridiculous amounts for participating in the bounty, for example, when compared with what was 5 months old back, the amounts are absolutely ridiculous. Do you think this is a temporary phenomenon? Or is the bounty dying? Thanks to everyone, I really want to hear the opinion of people of the rank of Hero and Legendary.

Help us in the fight against bots and scammers!

The number of bounty participants increased a lot and a lot of bounties failed this year. Most participants either get less tokens or did not get paid because of this. Maybe they need to regulate bounties and limit participants for each project.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TAKE ON BITCOIN : TO OWN BITCOIN OR MORE ALTCOINS?? on: July 20, 2018, 01:28:06 PM
Hey guys. So recently I've been quite confused. I'm a crypto analyst enthusiast who joined the movement late last year. I've been engaging in bounties, airdrops and also trading as well.
I've also been blogging on steemit. I've been exposed to a while lot of things and I have a wide portfolio of Altcoins. A while lot of them. Numbering into hundreds.
But I don't own any bitcoin. Which is quite funny. So I've been wondering.
Is it advisable to own an amount of bitcoin??
Will it still go very high or it'll tank really well.
Comments and views are welcomed.

It is best to get some bitcoin since you already have a lot of altcoins. Sell some of your altcoin once it hits the peak, some altcoin will not survive for long since some will die some time soon. Some altcoins have no real purpose and are not developed well, which makes them die in the long run. So, it is still best to hold some bitcoin.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How risky to invest in cryptocurrency? on: July 20, 2018, 01:02:15 PM
How risky for beginner to invest in cryptocurrency? What kind of risk factor and what are the precautions?

A beginner should not invest in cryptocurrency right away because it is really risky, the price volatility of cryptocurrency can make someone bankrupt. Beginners should learn the basics and concept of cryptocurrency market before investing. A lot of people lost a lot of money in cryptocurrency and blamed crypto because of it.
1369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the reasons why you must take risk in crypto market? on: July 19, 2018, 04:59:40 PM
This question has been on my mind, I have been pandering on the reason why we should take risk despite the fact that people who take the same risk later loose everything, some time people consider taking risk as the only way to make it in life,  despite this believe people who take risk in the past are still regleting it,  dose it mean that you can not succeed without taking risk or that risk is what we must take in life,  is there any way one can live on earth without taking risk

There's no easy way to earn money, as long as money is involved there's risk. If there's no risk in investing in cryptocurrency, everyone would have been rich by now and no one is losing money, which I think will not make any sense any more. Imagine those who invested early in bitcoin, they have taken the risk since no one knew that bitcoin will grow this big, which they have earned a lot of money.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has gone to shit on: July 19, 2018, 04:21:43 PM
Scams everywhere now. Greedy ICOS that for some reason need 20 million dollars for a small project, Ridiculous.  Greed everywhere, thousands of coins that serve no purpose.  This is so far removed from satoshi's vision.  Premine bullshit  scams like onion.  Projects that have no reason to be on a fucking blockchain except to cash in money on the hype.  We need another fucking crash to clear out these shitcoins and scams, and you greedy mfer ICO devs are the cause of this bullshit.

A lot of people especially developers wanted to earn through ICOs, that is why some people make trashy projects and coins with no real purpose. Some ICOs cannot deliver their own goal since some are just after money. Maybe that is one of the reason why cryptocurrency demand is declining. This year a lot of projects failed and a lot of people lost their money in ICOs, that is why some people now are skeptical in investing in ICOs.
1371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I stay away from this market? on: July 19, 2018, 03:59:43 PM
Another fall is coming, I feel like I can’t hold it anymore.I have lost too much.I really can't hold it anymore. Can anyone give me some advice?

If you are not emotionally ready for crypto crush, you should not be investing on it, stay away from it because you will lose money due to your impatience. Remember that, market crashes are normal and it's part of the cycle, the reason why crypto is profitable is because of it's market volatility. Just buy the dip, hold and be patient.
1372  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient or take a risk for money??? on: July 19, 2018, 03:39:53 PM
Hey guys, there is a time that it comes to my mind that what should i do, wait for a long time or we can say hold for now or take a risk and grab the opportunity to have a money in your hands???
What do you think guys??

It all depends on what you are holding. If you think that it will be worth it to hold a crypto for a long-term, then hold it. Nobody knew that bitcoin would cost more than a thousand of dollars and those who had patience really earned a lot. Take note that mass adaptation of crypto can happen soon or in the future, and it can increase the potential price of each altcoin.
1373  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: July 19, 2018, 03:13:22 PM
Everywhere you can find cryptocurrency topic especially ICO projects are doing well on the marketing through social media like facebook, twitter, reddit, linked, youtube and etc. Celebrities, influential individuals and high ranking government officials are talking about cryptocurrency and that is why i think cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world. Do you agree with me? Even haters help cryptocurrency to be known all over the world so let just leave the haters then.

In some country, yes. However, some people are not fully aware of cryptocurrency. Some think, especially those who are new in cryptocurrency, that cryptocurrency is an asset that will ensure that you will earn money in the future. Which can be true, however, some invest in crypto not to use it as how it is supposed to be.

1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to find potential small cap projects on: June 25, 2018, 08:54:28 PM
The search for potential small capitalization, you can use the aggregate price sites like coingecko or coinmarketcap. You can use coinmarketcap with the "Trending / Recently Added" function to check the list of new coins added. In order to filter out potential growth currencies, you should set criteria such as.

•  New to coinmarketcap less than 20 days.

•  Trading volume is over 1 million USD.

•  Market capitalization of $ 5-25 million.

Then, you select a list of currencies that meet your criteria.

Sometimes small cap coins are easy to manipulate. Most newly added coins are hyped just to get listed on coinmarket cap. This can be a good way to earn money, however, this coins would not last long if there's no real use case or a working product. In the end, only projects with working product and good partnership remains on the coinmarketcap.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold Stratis or switch to BTC? on: June 25, 2018, 08:30:53 PM
I have some STRAT since mid 2017, but the chart says bad, only a slow decline vs. BTC.
Do you think I have to hold them or switch to BTC?
Witch one will recover first? Great boubt...

It actually depends, however, as you can see most altcoin market depends on bitcoin market. Whenever bitcoin price dumps, altcoin price follows. If you want, just buy the dip, buy and hold both STRAT and BTC since both are good investments and worth holding for a long-term purpose.
1377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs alts on: June 25, 2018, 08:15:33 PM
It's really pointless to debate which one is better since almost all coins whether it's bitcoin or any other altcoin since each of them has their own unique feature, purpose and use. It all depends on what investors think will be useful and profitable for them.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am i expected to do? on: June 24, 2018, 02:56:04 PM
I am new to this forum, but i have been into crypto for more than a year. I am loosing some of my holdings due to the fall in prices of my coin and altoins. What should i do please.
Any advise that will be useful is welcome.

I think it is too late to cut-loss, if you want try buying more during the dip just to adjust the average price of your investment. The market will recover soon, just be patient. You are not incurring any losses as long as you are not selling at a cheap price. It's normal for the market to dip, just be ready next time.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best source to find better ICOs? on: June 21, 2018, 07:40:21 PM
i wonder there is a better source to find about ICOs that will give 3x ,5x profit in short term.lot of ICOs in these days are scams or don't have real working product.and also they go below ICO price after list in exchanges.but i want to invest on real ICOs that have working product and give me 3x,4x back for my investment

It is called DYOR, there's no such thing as a site that can give you an exact information on what ICO will give you such return. Even ICOs with good reviews fail or even dump because of the market situation. So, just do your homework, get updated, and take your own risk when investing.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Bounty Hunters Sell Immediately they receive reward? on: June 21, 2018, 06:38:49 PM
Many ICOs have realized that Bounty hunters always sell their coins immediately they give it out to their wallets especially when they are on exchanges. What are the reasons why they sell it out and what should bounty hunters do when they are given the tokens.

I think some sell them right away since they have worked patiently and exerted effort on promoting the project, they want to be rewarded instantly. Some are selling it to have money to buy some potential altcoin. There are a lot of reasons why people sell them.
