Well hopefully anyone who has noble on there can access it.
I just now moved my 3,000,000 NOBL I have been stressing about from there to agx.io... Shew! So glad to finally have them out of there.

what is going on here? none of the past 2 pages make ANY sense...
Is there a new dev? Is the old dev (smartcoin) out? Is there a new marketing person? Are we bribing someone smart to do some work for us now with 100,000, 90,000 , 1,000,000 SMC? I mean seriously what is going on here?
And is Cryptsy still on the wrong fork? If so, has anyone on here sent a support ticket to them and asked them to check it out?
Please someone clarify what is going on in non-fragmented English so we can all understand.

New PirateCoin permanent node added:
addnode=98.174.25.28
Can you explain to me how to create a node for the network? Is it just a matter of having a machine dedicated to always being up with the wallet open and then using that IP as a node?

Could somebody explain for dumb what is tipbot? Didn't find any explanation from quick googling. From what I understand it is a web service that allows you to "tip" someone a few coins (in this case, noblecoins) when they do something noble or if you just feel like it. The bot creates a link for the person you want to tip and they are then able to receive the tip you gave into their wallet with just one click. So its a way to spead the wealth (in a non-socialist way) and make it more known... it has done wonders for coins like DOGE

Finished syncing and deposited 50 SMC from my Cryptsy account. Working great!
Can you check your debug console and post 'getinfo' and `getpeerinfo` command output here? It's possible wallet on wrong chain. Rofo, do you happen to know the Smartcoin dev? When they were trying to get onto Cryptsy she posted an update and said "I spoke with Cryptsy, we will soon be on there" and within two days SMC was added. Maybe you could speak directly with Vern or someone there and by explaining how awesome the coin is we could bypass the whole bribe mess and get listed because of the greatness of the coin?
Just a thought.
she posted Also pretend to be a woman.. may be an idea to set a bounty for a female to approach them lol.. LOL well the dev over there is a "she" as far as I know... Not sure if that helped or not.

First of all, captchas and multiple submissions from the same IP are going to be the first deterrent. reCaptcha has a reputation for being secure and we prevent multiple signups from multiple IPs. If someone were to acquire a bunch of proxies, the captcha should deter some of them. Otherwise, we have some tricks up our sleeve to detect HTTP based proxies. Second, emails will be filtered out at the end for any disposable email services and other tricks I won't list. Third, after emails are sent out, you will have to type in your wallet address. Withdrawing to duplicate wallet addresses will not be possible.
Hopefully this should be enough... if you've got other suggestions we're open to hearing them.

How about using a real, legit pool that is here since day 1 of noble ?
nobl.poolerino.com - 0% fee plus 10% off at noble shop as our miner. Unfortunately my state government blocks all of your poolerino sites and flags them as (games) so I cant mine from your pools

Okay so the source was written in German? Or you just have a German version of VS? Thats not cool.
But anyway, it is saying that you need a semicolon before your brackets on the 1st 8 errors from that picture. I cant tell where without seeing the lines of code but clearly the syntax is backwards to some degree. What language is the wallet written in? (machine language I mean)
i took the smartcoin source off github ofc, im from germany thats why my visual studio is german. Oh well in that case its cool since you are German. I didnt realize you were because your english is so good.

This might be the fastest and easiest route to take for the SMC community.

Alright, i atleast got the source loaded into visual studio, now im just down to missing some dependencies. I already attempted including the bn.h i got from a linux machine of mine without a change, continuing to test. https://i.imgur.com/JKJI23G.pngDid you include: #include <openssl/dh.h> #include <openssl/bn.h> and do you have openssl installed? i dont, but i included the headerfiles of openssl and boost now, so those errors are gone, but now im getting actual code and syntaxerrors(its still compiling as im writing this). https://i.imgur.com/R0B7paI.pngVisual Studio..lel.. have fun trying to compile this with Visual Studio
Jesus.. I will do it when I'm home
good luck then edit: and it aborted, 384 errors. Okay so the source was written in German? Or you just have a German version of VS? Thats not cool. You also need to make sure boost for windows is installed. and add: #include <boost> Make sure boost is one of your sources in VS

It's not so easy compile program for windows, you need install some development suite like Microsoft Visual Studio and know how it works. It's much easier to compile linux program.
I actually got visual studio, i never compiled anything but .net though(i got the c++ additions), i will see what i can do(i doubt its much). Does anyone here atleast have the knowledge of what is needed to be done? To compile source code on Visual Studio is easy... I dont quite understand what is hard about it? Take source code, press CTRL+F5... Go to the directory that the .EXE is now in and there it is.

PirateCoin block explorer back up and running: http://explorer.arrcoin.com:8080Sorry this took so long, it is my first ABE experience. I should be able to start putting some more time into this coin next week. Bobdylan - keep the bounty, and use it to double the article bounty This is awesome, thanks Mortimer!
